[Opening Credits] Written by Amir Agoora. Executive Producers: Jennifer Dodge, Ronnen Harary, Keith Chapman. Executive Producers: Laura Clunie, Toni Stevens. Executive Producer Ursula Ziegler-Sullivan.
[Paint squelches, wind gusts, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: On a snowy hilltop, Francois, Katie and Ace stand behind easels. They paint a mountain and evergreens with snow on the branches.
FRANCOIS: Hmm.
ACE: Painting's fun, but it's kind of tough. Who knew white had so many different shades?
[Francois laughs]
FRANCOIS: Good observation, Ace. Painting takes practice and the right teacher, of course. Come, come, and watch the expert at work. Then you can follow my lead.
[Slide whistle, Katie and Ace gasp, mellow music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The baby caribou pokes his head between Ace and Francois’s easels as Francois works on his abstract painting. Katie and Ace follow him, and the baby caribou poses.
ACE: Oh, my.
KATIE: So beautiful!
FRANCOIS: Ah, it is true. I am very talented.
[Moustache wobbles, Francois chuckles]
DESCRIPTION: Francois tugs his moustache and then paints.
ACE: Your painting's great, but look at that adorable baby caribou.
[Caribou calls, snow crunches, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The baby caribou gallops in a circle.
KATIE: Aw! He must be a boy caribou with those big antlers.
[Wind gusts]
FRANCOIS: Katie, I believe you are correct.
[Jumps boing]
DESCRIPTION: A brown and white rabbit hops to the baby caribou.
ACE: Cute! And he even has a little pal.
[Soft music plays]
KATIE: So precious!
FRANCOIS: Ah, oui. The caribou is friends with the petite rabbit. Ah.
[Hops boing, snow crunches]
DESCRIPTION: The baby caribou and the rabbit play in the snow, and Francois holds up his hands, framing them between his fingers.
FRANCOIS: Oh. Oh, yes, and what a magnifique work of art they will make!
[Whoosh, pups laugh, snowballs rustle, cheerful music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Elsewhere, Ryder and Skye pat a snowman beside the Paw Patroller as Zuma watches. Everest, Marshall, and Rubble roll large snowballs.
ROCKY: Hey, pups! Look what we made!
[Snow crunches]
DESCRIPTION: Everyone runs to where Chase and Rocky are building a Paw Patroller out of snow.
PUPS EXCLAIM: Wow! Amazing!
ZUMA: That's one cool PAW Patroller, dudes.
ROCKY: Thanks. There's snow Patroller like it.
[Rocky laughs]
RUBBLE: Wow. It looks so real.
[Honk, whoosh, Rubble shivers]
DESCRIPTION: Rubble hides behind Chase and shakes.
RUBBLE: Whoa! Too real!
[Rubble and Everest laugh]
EVEREST: That's not their snow sculpture honking. Look. It's geese flying south for the winter.
[Geese honk, wings flap, mellow music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Seven Canada geese fly overhead in a V-formation.
ZUMA: Whoa! How are those geese able to keep flying in a V shape? They follow the leader.
CHASE: Hey, that sounds just like that game we used to play.
[Upbeat music plays, pups laugh]
DESCRIPTION: Chase and the other pups form a V-shape behind Zuma.
ZUMA: Okay, everybody. Follow the leader.
[Pups laugh, snow crunches]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma lifts his left front paw, then walks sideways to his right. The other pups imitate him. He runs, and the others follow.
PUP: 'Scuse me.
ZUMA: Now, stop.
[Grunts, thuds, slide whistle, pups laugh, snow crunches, wind gusts]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma stops suddenly, and the others run into him. They pile up in the snow. On the hilltop, Ace and Katie hold their hands near their faces as they watch the baby caribou and the rabbit play.
ACE: Ah, so adorable!
KATIE: Too cute!
[Upbeat music plays, wind gusts]
DESCRIPTION: Francois paints on his canvas.
FRANCOIS: Perhaps, but they are such difficult models. Please, my furry friends, stay still. Your mama and papa would want you to behave.
KATIE: That reminds me, Francois. Where's the caribou's family?
[The music stops, brush clatters, wind gusts]
DESCRIPTION: Francois puts down his paintbrush and palette and peers through his binoculars.
FRANCOIS: Ah, good question, Katie. A young animal should not be out on its own. Hmm. I require a better view.
[Whoosh, Francois grunts, serious music notes play, boulder rumbles, rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Francois climbs onto a nearby boulder and puts his hands out for balance as the boulder shifts against smaller rocks.
FRANCOIS: Whoa! Whoa!
ACE: Be careful!
[Slide whistles, boulder rustles]
DESCRIPTION: On the boulder, Francois poses on one leg.
FRANCOIS: Ah, not to worry. My years of tightrope-walking have given me superior balance.
[Grunts, boulder rustles, caribou calls, rabbit chitters, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Francois falls off the boulder, and it rolls toward the baby caribou and the rabbit. They run and hide in a cave formed by a rock pile, and the boulder rolls behind them and plugs the cave entrance.
FRANCOIS: Uh-oh.
[Thud, caribou calls, rabbit chitters]
KATIE: Oh, no! The poor baby caribou is trapped! I better call Ryder.
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: Katie pushes a button on her smartphone.
[Pups laugh]
DESCRIPTION: In front of snow-covered evergreens, the pups stand in a row.
MARSHALL: Now, everybody follow me. Whoa! Oof!
[Slide whistle, snow rustles, pups laugh]
DESCRIPTION: Marshall slips and falls, and the others imitate him.
RUBBLE: You did say "follow the leader."
[Pups laugh, phone rings, beep, serious music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder activates his pup-pad, and Katie appears on the screen.
RYDER: Hey, Katie. What's up?
KATIE: Hi, Ryder. We were painting in the mountains with Francois when we saw a lost baby caribou, and now, the poor little thing is stuck between some rocks.
[Whoosh, caribou calls]
DESCRIPTION: The baby caribou peers through an opening between the rocks.
RYDER: Don't worry. We're on our way. No baby caribou is too trapped. No pup is too small.
[Beep, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder pushes a button on his pup-pad, and the pups’ tags light up.
RYDER: PAW Patrol to the PAW Patroller!
PUPS: Ryder needs us!
[Slide whistle, whooshes]
DESCRIPTION: Marshall slides on the snow.
MARSHALL: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: The other pups stand in the back of the Paw Patroller, watching Marshall slide towards them.
ROCKY: Watch out, Marshall!
DESCRIPTION: Marshall slides on the snow.
MARSHALL: Whoa! Whoa!
[Crash, wind gusts]
DESCRIPTION: In the back of the Paw Patroller, Marshall sits on Rubble and Zuma as the pups lie on the floor.
MARSHALL: I guess I put the fall in follow.
[Pups laugh, whirr, thud, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The back door closes, and the pups run through the Paw Patroller. They pause behind the badge on the side, change into their Paw Patrol uniforms and then continue to their seats. The swivel seats turn, and the pups face the driver’s seat.
CHASE: PAW Patrol ready for action, Ryder, sir!
RYDER: Thanks for hurrying, pups.
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: On a screen, Francois, Ace, and Katie paint their canvases while the baby caribou poses with the rabbit on his back.
RYDER: Katie, Ace, and Francois found a lost baby caribou up in the mountains.
Pups: Aw!
[Crash]
DESCRIPTION: On the screen, the boulder blocks the entrance to the cave.
Ryder: But then a rolling boulder trapped the baby caribou.
[Caribou calls, pop]
DESCRIPTION: Red exclamation marks appear over the baby caribou’s head.
PUPS: Oh!
RYDER: It's up to us to move that big rock and get him back to his family. So, for this mission, I'll need... Skye.
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swipes on his pup-pad, and Skye’s pup tag and helicopter appear on the screen.
RYDER: I need you to search for the caribou's family from the air.
SKYE: This puppy's got to fly!
RYDER: And Rubble.
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swipes on his pup-pad, and Rubble’s pup tag and construction vehicle appear.
RYDER: You'll use your rig to move the boulder out of the caribou's way.
RUBBLE: Rubble on the double.
RYDER: Alright. PAW Patrol is on a roll!
[Skye barks, Rubble howls, energetic music plays]
[Song] PAW Patrol. Go, go, go, go, go, go.
[Skye giggles, panel rumbles, whirr]
DESCRIPTION: Skye’s helicopter lowers from the ceiling, with the rotor lowered and packed inside the body of the vehicle.
[Song] Go, go, go, go. Skye. Rubble.
[Rubble howls]
DESCRIPTION: Rubble’s construction vehicle lowers from the ceiling, and he hops in.
[Song] Go, go, go.
[Rubble howls, ramps whirr, engines rumble, howls, A.T.V. thumps]
DESCRIPTION: The side and back of the Paw Patroller open. Rubble drives down a ramp, and Skye takes off from a raised platform. The windshield lowers on the Paw Patroller, and Ryder drives his A.T.V. out.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
[Caribou calls, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: On the hilltop, Ace, Francois, and Katie stand by the trapped baby caribou.
KATIE: It'll be okay!
ACE: Don't worry. The PAW Patrol will move the rock.
FRANCOIS: And if you keep standing still like that, I can finally finish my painting.
[Rotor blades thump]
ACE: Look! The PAW Patrol is here.
[Rotor blades thump, engines whirr]
DESCRIPTION: Skye, Rubble, and Ryder arrive.
SKYE: Hi, Ace. I'm so happy to see you.
ACE: We're even happier to see you.
SKYE: Thanks. I've got to go find this little cutie's family.
[Caribou calls]
ACE: If anyone can, it's you.
[Rotor blades thump, engines rumble]
DESCRIPTION: Skye flies away. Ryder and Rubble arrive and stop their vehicles.
RYDER: Okay, Rubble. Let's move that boulder.
[Engine rumbles, hop boings]
DESCRIPTION: Rubble drives to the boulder, and the rabbit hops onto his vehicle.
RUBBLE: Aw. Hi, little bunny buddy. Are you worried about your friend?
[Rabbit chitters, hop boings, Rubble grunts, engine whirrs, boulder bangs]
DESCRIPTION: The rabbit nods and then sits beside Rubble. Rubble slides the scoop under the boulder and partially lifts it before the scoop lands on the snow.
RUBBLE: Whoa! This rock is really heavy! But my rig is really strong!
[Rumble, bang, caribou calls]
DESCRIPTION: The scoop lifts the boulder, and Rubble holds it beneath the edge of the roof rock.
KATIE: Come on out. You can do it.
[Rocks thud]
DESCRIPTION: Rubble backs away with the boulder, and the roof rock falls on the other rocks, slowly sinking.
[Rabbit chitters]
KATIE: Come on, buddy!
RUBBLE: On it!
[Engine rumbles, thump, dramatic music notes play, caribou calls, rock crashes]
DESCRIPTION: Rubble catches the sinking roof rock with his scoop, and the baby caribou runs out of the cave. Rubble lowers the rock to the snow.
RUBBLE: Phew! That was close.
[Caribou calls, canvases clatter]
DESCRIPTION: The baby caribou knocks over the easel and falls, sitting on Francois’s canvas. The canvas slides down the hill.
FRANCOIS: Ah! My masterpiece!
[Caribou calls, snow rustles, tense music notes play]
DESCRIPTION: The baby caribou slides past everyone on a lower plateau.
ACE AND KATIE: The caribou!
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: On his A.T.V., Ryder activates the screen, and Everest appears.
RYDER: Everest, the baby caribou is headed down the mountainside! We need you to catch him.
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Everest paws the air.
EVEREST: Ice or snow, I'm ready to go!
[Exciting music plays, hops boing, rabbit chitters, whirr, bark, caribou calls, engine whirrs]
DESCRIPTION: The rabbit watches the caribou slide past and follows him. At the Paw Patroller, Everest drives her snow cat down a ramp.
EVEREST: It may be hard to get my snow cat around all those trees. I know.
[Whoosh, engine stops, barks]
DESCRIPTION: Everest stops her snow cat and leaps out.
EVEREST: Snowboard!
[Whirr, snow rustles, caribou calls, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The snowboard launches from Everest’s pup pack, and she hops onto it. Everest weaves around bushes and snowboards up a ramp. She lands behind the baby caribou. The rabbit rides on the baby caribou’s head.
EVEREST: It'll be okay. I'll help you stop.
[Caribou calls, rabbit chitters]
DESCRIPTION: The slide towards a large tree.
EVEREST: Huh?
[Gasps]
EVEREST: Better go this way!
[Thump, caribou calls, exciting music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Everest bumps the canvas, and the caribou slides to the right of the tree, towards a ramp.
EVEREST: Oh, no!
[Whoosh, slide whistle, caribou calls, rabbit chitters]
DESCRIPTION: The caribou and Everest slide off the ramp and continue down the hill towards a river.
EVEREST: They're headed straight for the river! I need to go faster!
[Whoosh, gasps, barks]
DESCRIPTION: Everest activates a rocket engine on the back of the snowboard and slides faster.
EVEREST: Grapple!
[Whoosh, grapple clinks, mellow music plays, rabbit chitters, boing]
DESCRIPTION: Everest shoots a grapple at the canvas and grabs it as it reaches the edge of the river. The rabbit dangles from the caribou’s antler. The caribou straightens and leaps off the canvas to the snowy shore. Ryder arrives on his A.T.V. The rabbit and baby caribou smile at each other and wag their tails.
RYDER: Great job, Everest. Now, let's get this caribou back to his family.
[Beep]
RYDER: Skye?
[Rotor blades thump, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In the sky over the forest, Skye flies near two adult caribou.
SKYE: Ryder, I found the caribou's parents! But they're pretty far away.
RYDER: That's okay. We'll have you airlift the baby to them.
SKYE: On my way!
[Hops boing, caribou snorts, rotor blades thump, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The caribou chases the rabbit in circles. Skye arrives.
SKYE: Alright, cutie. I know you're not good at staying still, but now's a good time to start.
[Bark]
SKYE: Harness.
[Harness whirrs, rabbit chitters]
DESCRIPTION: Skye lowers a harness, and the rabbit leaps, knocking it away from the caribou’s back.
SKYE: Bunny, you're not helping!
[Whirr, boing, rabbit chitters, rotor blades thump]
DESCRIPTION: Skye lowers the harness, and the rabbit leaps, knocking it away.
SKYE: I'll keep trying, Ryder, but that caribou is super distracted by his friend.
[Caribou calls, rabbit chitters]
DESCRIPTION: The caribou chases the rabbit in circles.
EVEREST: There's got to be another way to lead the caribou to his family.
RYDER: Leading. That's it! If he likes to follow the rabbit, maybe he'll follow other caribou.
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder activates his pup-pad.
RYDER: Calling all pups! It's time to follow the leader.
[Beep, whoosh, pups bark, laugh]
DESCRIPTION: Later, the pups sit in their vehicles in a semi-circle around Everest and Ryder.
[The music stops, wind gusts]
RYDER: First, we need to gather a bunch of branches.
[Engines whirr]
[Siren wails]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma, Chase, and Marshall drive forward.
CHASE: Yeah!
ZUMA: On it.
MARSHALL: Roger that.
[Siren wails, fan whirrs, boing, brakes screech, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Zuma stops beside a pile of branches and turns on his hovercraft fans, blowing the branches into one of Chase’s nets. Marshall stops beside another pile of branches.
MARSHALL: I found some big branches over here.
RUBBLE: Let's scoop them up.
[Engine rumbles, branches clatter, scoop whirrs]
DESCRIPTION: Rubble lifts the branches in his scoop.
[Glue squelches]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky squirts glue on the snow cat as Everest watches. Ryder arranges two branches on the hood, resembling two antlers.
ROCKY: We're going to turn this snow cat into a snow caribou. All done.
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: The Paw Patrol sit in a row in their vehicles.
RYDER: Not yet. Can you make one last pair?
ROCKY: Of course.
[Whirrs, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky glues small branches to a headband and gives them to Ryder.
MARSHALL: Who are those for?
[Light music plays]
RYDER: They're for the real leader of the group.
[Rabbit chitters, the music stops]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder puts the antlers on the rabbit’s head.
RYDER: Here you go, little buddy.
[Rabbit chitters]
All pups: Aw!
RYDER: Everyone ready?
[Sirens wail, engines rumble, rotor blades thump, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The pups drive away. Each vehicle has a pair of antlers attached to the hood.
PUPS: Yeah! You bet! Let's go!
DESCRIPTION: Zuma stops beside the rabbit and the caribou.
ZUMA: Come on, bunny dude. This way!
[Sirens wail, caribou calls]
DESCRIPTION: The rabbit and caribou follow the Paw Patrol.
EVEREST: Huh?
[Caribous call, soft music plays, snow crunches, soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Everest and Chase stop and look at each other. The two adult caribou approach them. The baby caribou runs to the adults, and they snuggle.
EVEREST: Aw. I think they're saying "thank you."
RYDER: You're welcome. Whenever your caribou calf is on the run, just yelp for help.
[Caribou calls, hops boing, whoosh, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The caribou family turns and walks into the forest. The rabbit hops behind them. Later, Ace and Katie show the Paw Patrol their paintings of the caribou family and the rabbit.
CHASE: Whoa!
MARSHALL: Nice.
EVEREST: It looks just like them.
SKYE: Aw.
RUBBLE: Cute!
FRANCOIS: I know. Ace and Katie are my most amazing students.
[Sighs]
FRANCOIS: But my own piece is lost to the ages.
[Sighs, wind gusts]
RYDER: Actually...
[Tap, Francois gasps]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder shows Francois the canvas, with sticks and leaves stuck to the wavy lines of the abstract art.
FRANCOIS: Oh, my!
[Ruslte]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder gives Francois the painting.
RYDER: I'm sorry, Francois. It kind of had a rough ride down the mountain.
FRANCOIS: Sorry? Why? This is bold, original, truly a masterpiece!
[Whoosh, Francois gasps]
DESCRIPTION: Francois twirls.
FRANCOIS: I am so talented!

EVEREST: It looks just like them.
SKYE: Aw.
RUBBLE: Cute!
