[Rock music plays]
In an animation, Bo pushes levers and buttons on a controller in the Swop Shop Headquarters. He wears a green hat over his curly, short brown hair. Mojo, a blue vehicle, swaps from an airplane to a firetruck to a bulldozer with a crane on the back. They then swap to a truck with a wrecking ball and spin in a circle.
Singers sing, JET TOP, FIRE TOP, DOZER TOP, DIG IT UP. CRANE WITH A WRECKING BALL, YOU KNOW THEY'LL ANSWER ANY CALL. JUMPER TOP, MONSTER TOP, TURN IT ON, SWOP IT UP. MOJO AND BO TO THE SWOP SHOP, LET'S GO.
The headquarters garage door opens, and Bo drives Mojo to the road.

On the road, Mojo swaps between different types of vehicles.

Mojo zooms on the water. On the road, they drive with a ramp to a dump bed lowered, and scooter riders slide into the back of the truck. In a forest, Bo stands on a cherry picker and lifts a pig from a tree. Mojo swaps to a helicopter and a monster truck.

In the Swop Shop Headquarters, Bo peers through a magnifying glass. He holds a small gear in tweezers.
Bo says, JUST ONE MORE PIECE TO FIT AND—
Mojo screams, WAH!
Bo startles. He catches the magnifying glass and the tweezers, holding the gear.
Mojo screams, DEWEY'S COMING!
[Slide whistle, gear clattering]
Bo drops the gear.
Bo says, WAIT! DEWEY DRAGON? FROM OUR FAVOURITE SHOW? COMING TO SWOPPITON?
[Upbeat music plays]
Posters feature a pink dragon with yellow spots and a yellow tummy. Bo runs in a circle, and Mojo follows him. Bo bumps his hip against Mojo’s door.
Bo cheers, WAHOO! I WONDER IF HE'LL DO HIS DRAGON WING DANCE?
Mojo says, I HOPE HE SAYS HIS CATCHPHRASE!
[Car doors slamming, thumping]
Both say, NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S HERE!
[Horn blaring, Bo screaming, crashing, clicking, beeping, upbeat music plays]
Bo falls on the floor. He stands and pushes a button on a computer. Dewey appears on the screen.
Dewey says, NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S HERE!
[The music stops]
Bo and Mojo squeal, DEWEY!
Dewey says, HELLO, BO! HELLO, MOJO!
Bo and Mojo say, HE KNOWS OUR NAMES!
Dewey says, UH, JUST A SEC.
[Rustling, creaking, grunting]
Preston removes the top of his Dewey costume.
Mojo says, OH, IT'S PRESTON.
[Banging, light music notes play]
Bo elbows Mojo.
Mojo says, I MEAN, HI, PRESTON!
Preston says, THE REAL DEWEY CAN'T MAKE IT TODAY! SO, I'M STANDING IN. DO ALL DEWEY DRAGON FANS SCREAM LIKE THAT?
Bo says, MORE! PEOPLE LOVE DEWEY!
Bo and Mojo squee, EEE!
[Tapping]
Mojo bounces on their front tires.
Mojo says, DEWEY! I'M SO EXCITED!
Preston says, UH, THIS JOB MAY BE HARDER THAN I THOUGHT. I NEED YOU TWO TO HELP ME WITH MY BIG DEWEY DRAGON SHOW!
[Upbeat music plays]
Bo says, ANYTHING FOR DEWEY!
Mojo says, HELPING DEWEY IS WHAT WE DEWEY!
[Beeping, chiming, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Bo pushes a button. An opening in the ceiling closes, and Bo picks up his controller. He and Mojo look at the computer screen displaying the monster top.
Bo says, I KNOW WHAT WE NEED! THE MONSTER-TOP! A DRAGON IS A KIND OF MONSTER.
[Beeping]
The boat top appears on the screen.
Mojo says, A MONSTER DOESN'T NEED A MONSTER-TOP. WE COULD USE THE BOAT TOP SO DEWEY DRAGON CAN WATER SKI.
Bo says, AND GET THAT COSTUME ALL WET? ALL HE NEEDS IS SOMETHING TO RIDE IN AND BE UP HIGH WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE HIM.
[Beeping, both gasping]
Both say, IT'S TIME TO SWOP THAT TOP!
[Beeping, chiming, whirring, upbeat music plays, clanking, engine revving]
Mojo drives onto a platform and rises on a vehicle lift. Bo pushes buttons on the controller. Mechanical arms replace Mojo’s tires with tracks and attach a U-shaped blade in front of Mojo. Bo jumps into Mojo’s cab and fastens his seatbelt. The garage door opens, and Mojo leaves and drives down a road.
Mojo and Bo say, DOZER-TOP!
[Crowd chattering excitedly, cheering, upbeat music plays]
In the town square, people walk past a candy floss stand towards a stage with a giant cut-out of Dewey on each side. Betty, the ice cream truck, is parked on the other side of the square by a fountain. Tot, Dot, and Lot stand in the front row, each holding a Dewey stuffed toy.
[Dramatic music plays]
Bo says, AND NOW, THE DRAGON YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! IT'S DEWEY!
Pink smoke flows out of the nostrils of the cut-outs. Preston, dressed as Dewey, rises over the stage.
Dot shouts, AH! IT'S DEWEY!
Preston, as Dewey, says, HELLO, SWOPPITON!
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY!
[Gasping, thumping, the music stops, crowd gasping]
Preston, as Dewey, steps forward and falls onto the stage.
Preston, as Dewey, says, UH, I'M, I'M OKAY.
[Party horn tooting, confetti rustling, upbeat music plays]
Confetti falls around Dewey, and he stands.
Preston, as Dewey, says, HELLO! YES, I'M DEWEY! DEWEY THE DRAGON! THAT'S ME!
Behind the stage, Mojo whispers, THAT'S IT, PRESTON. YOU'RE DOING GREAT!
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
Preston, as Dewey, says, NEVER FEAR!
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
Preston, as Dewey, says, UH, DEWEY'S HERE?
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
Dot, Lot, and Tot drop their stuffies and crawl onto the stage. They walk towards Dewey with huge eyes and outstretched arms.
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
[Thumping, squeaking]
Dewey backs up and hits the back of the stage. He sits down.
Preston, as Dewey, says, OH! DEWEY'S DOWN! DEWEY'S DOWN! DEWEY'S DOWN!
On the stage, the children run to Dewey. In front of the stage, Jackson and Mayor Sunita wince and recoil.
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
[Creaking, crashing]
Dewey stands with the children hanging onto the side of the costume. Lot tugs on the tongue. Dewey falls and stands with only Dot and Lot holding on.
Preston, as Dewey, shouts, I'M NOT DEWEY!
Tot tackles Dewey, and he falls.
Mayor Sunita says, OH.
Preston, as Dewey, shouts, AH! HELP!
The children shout, DEWEY! WE LOVE YOU!
[Thumping]
Dewey falls off the stage and runs.
Preston, as Dewey, says, DEWEY HAS TO GO!
[Energetic music plays]
Dot shouts, HE'S GETTING AWAY! QUICK! LET'S GO AFTER HIM! DEWEY, COME BACK!
[Clicking, engines whirring, thumping, Dewey grunting]
Dewey runs across a bumper car ride and down a road. Behind him, the children get into bumper cars and drive them through the wall surrounding the ride.
Dot shouts, DEWEY, WE LOVE YOU! WHICH WAY DID HE GO?
[Upbeat music plays]
Dewey runs to Bo and Mojo.
Preston, as Dewey, says, NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S OUTTA HERE!
[Whooshing, tires squealing]
The children swerve around Bo and Mojo and follow Dewey down the road.
Mojo says, WOW! DOT AND HER COUSINS ARE EVEN BIGGER FANS THAN US.
Bo says, WE HAVE TO GO HELP PRESTON BEFORE DOT CATCHES UP WITH HIM.
[Engine whirring]
Bo says, SHE'S GOT FAN FEVER!
[Tense music plays]
At an intersection, Preston looks left and right anxiously through an opening in the mouth of his Dewey costume.
Preston says, UH, UH, OH.
[Whooshing, whirring, tires squealing]
Preston, as Dewey, hides behind a tree as Dot, Lot, and Tot stop their bumper cars at the intersection.
Preston, as Dewey, says, MMM, MMM, HUH?
[Costume squeaking]
Dewey crosses the road behind the cars, running to the children’s left.
Dot says, DON'T WORRY! HE CAN'T HAVE GOT FAR. LET'S TRY THIS WAY.
[Tires squealing, energetic music plays]
The children turn right. Dewey runs, leaving a trail of pink dragon scales behind him.
Bo says, PRESTON, WHERE ARE YOU?
Mojo says, HE MUST BE AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE.
[Tires screeching]
Mojo stops.
Bo says, LOOK!
Mojo asks, WHAT ARE THOSE?
[Footsteps pattering, whooshing]
Bo says, HMM.
[Sniffing, upbeat music plays]
Bo picks up a scale and smells it. He peers at it through a magnifying glass.
Bo says, THEY LOOK LIKE DRAGON SCALES.
[Engine humming]
Bo looks at the trail leading to the base of a tree. He and Mojo go to the tree and look at the scales.
Bo says, THE TRAIL ENDS HERE.
Mojo says, THEN HE MUST BE AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE.
[Slide whistle, thumping, shouting]
Mojo reverses and hits the tree.
Mojo says, OH, SORRY, TALKING TREE!
[Slide whistle, leaves rustling]
Preston, as Dewey, pokes his head out of the top of the tree.
Preston, as Dewey, says, IT'S ME! PRESTON. ARE THE FANS STILL FOLLOWING ME?
Bo says, NO! I THINK YOU LOST THEM.
[Dramatic music plays]
Dot says, HEY!
Preston, as Dewey, says, AH!
[Leaves rustling]
Dewey ducks back into the tree.
Mojo and Bo say, AH!
[Engines whirring]
Dot demands, WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO THAT TREE? IS THERE A DRAGON HIDING IN IT?
Bo says, A DRAGON HIDING IN THIS TREE?
[Bo snickering]
Bo says, NO!
Mojo says, WE, UH, WE DID SEE A DRAGON.
Bo says, BUT, UH, HE WENT THAT WAY!
[Whooshing]
Bo points at a road.
Bo asks, RIGHT, TREE?
[Leaves rustling]
Preston, as Dewey, says, UH, YES! DEFINITELY THAT WAY!
Dot says, HMM. THE TALKING TREE SAID HE WENT THAT WAY!
Tot says, OKAY, LET'S GO!
[Engines whirring, thumping]
The children drive down the road.
Bo says, ALL RIGHT, PRESTON. I THINK IT'S SAFE TO COME DOWN NOW.
[Leaves rustling, costume creaking]
Preston, as Dewey, asks, CAN YOU HELP ME? THE HEAD'S GOT STUCK AGAIN!
Bo replies, RIGHT. LET'S SORT THIS OUT BACK AT THE SWOP SHOP.
Mojo says, GET IN QUICKLY! SO THEY DON'T SPOT YOU.
[Whirring]
Mojo lifts the U-shaped blade.
Bo says, CAREFUL, PRESTON. MIND YOU DON'T FALL.
[Leaves rustling, dramatic music plays]
Preston, as Dewey, says, OKAY, JUST A SEC. IF I CAN JUST-- AH!
[Leaves rustling, engines whirring, costume squeaking]
Dewey falls out of the tree and lands on Bo. On the road, the children stop their cars and look behind them.
Dot asks, WHAT WAS THAT?
[Tot laughing, upbeat music plays]
Dewey stands.
Tot says, AH!
Dot cheers, YAY! IT'S DEWEY!
[Car rattling, whirring]
Lot and Tot drive towards Dewey while Dot’s bumper car stalls. She drives behind the others.
Dot says, HANG ON! WAIT FOR ME!
Mojo says, QUICK! WE'D BETTER GET OUT OF HERE.
[Engines whirring, energic music plays]
Mojo scoops Dewey and Bo in the blade, and the children follow in their bumper cars.
Preston, as Dewey, shouts, WHOA!
Dot shouts, DEWEY, COME BACK!
Mojo asks, ARE THEY STILL FOLLOWING US?
Bo looks behind Mojo.
Bo says, FASTER, MOJO! WHOA!
Dot’s bumper car weaves on the road and emits smoke.
Dot says, HUH? UH-OH!
[Engine rattling]
On a hill outside of town, Ted drives down a winding road.
Ted says, WE ARE ON OUR WAY.
[Energetic music plays, tires squealing]
The children chase Mojo on the road. Mojo glances behind them and then looks ahead, noticing Ted driving towards them.
Mojo shouts, AH!
Ted shouts, LOOK OUT!
[Everyone screaming, Bo grunting, tires screeching, clunking, tense music plays]
Mojo drives on two tires and passes Ted. Mojo and Dewey fall off the U-shaped blade and roll down a hill.
Mojo says, PHEW!
The smiling children drive past Mojo and follow Bo and Dewey down the hill. Dewey rolls down the road, and Bo runs on top of him.
Bo shouts, AH! AH! AH! AH! LOOK OUT FOR THAT TREE!
A fallen tree lies blocking the road.
Bo shouts, AH!
Mojo drives down the hill and scoops up Dewey and Bo.
Mojo says, I'VE GOT YOU!
[Energetic music plays, whirring, clanking]
The children stop their bumper cars beside the fallen tree and watch Mojo drive away.
Dot sadly says, DEWEY!
[Engine rumbling]
Preston leans around the edge of the blade and looks back at the children.
Preston, as Dewey, says, NO DEWEY FOR YOU-EE!
[Sad music plays]
Dot’s eyes fill with tears.
Dot asks, DID YOU HEAR THAT? I DON'T THINK DEWEY LIKES US.
[Engine rumbling]
Preston, as Dewey, says, OH. OH, DEAR.
Preston sits on the blade.
Tot says, COME ON, DOT. LET'S GO HOME.
Dot says, YEAH, LET'S GO.
[Engine whirring, tires screeching]
Dot turns her car, and smoke rises.
Dot says, AH! MY BUMPER CAR!
[Thumping, clanking, whooshing, zooming]
Dot’s bumper car hits the fallen tree, and the hood opens. The car spins, turns, and races back up the road.
Dot screams, WHOA!
[Upbeat music plays, whirring, costume squeaking, Preston grunting, thumping]
In the Swop Shop Headquarters, Bo uses his controller. Mechanical arms hold the feet of the Dewey costume, and a mechanical arm holds a plunger that attaches to the head. Preston lies on a small platform as the mechanical arms pull the costume in different directions. The head detaches, and Preston falls to the floor, still wearing the bottom half of the costume.
Bo says, GOT IT!
[Costume squeaking]
Preston says, OOF. OH, THANKS, YOU TWO. I GUESS THAT'S MY TIME AS DEWEY DRAGON OVER!
[Sad music plays]
Mojo asks, WHAT'S WRONG, PRESTON?
Preston says, I CAN'T HELP FEELING LIKE I LET THE FANS DOWN. WHAT IF THEY DON'T LIKE DEWEY ANYMORE BECAUSE OF ME?
Dot screaming, WHOA!
[Whooshing, tense music plays]
Dot zooms past the open garage door, turns, and drives past again.
Dot shouts, DEWEY, WHERE ARE YOU? SAVE ME!
Preston says, DOT'S IN DANGER AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT! MOJO, BO, THERE'S A SMALL CHILD IN A RUNAWAY BUMPER CAR! YOU'VE GOTTA RESCUE HER, BUT YOU GOTTA HAVE HELP FROM DEWEY DRAGON!
[Bumping]
Preston puts on his Dewey head backwards.
Bo says, IT'S TIME TO—
Preston says, muffled, SWOP THAT--
Preston turns the Dewey head so he peeks through the open mouth.
Preston says, SWOP THAT TOP!
[Giggling]
Preston says, I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SAY THAT.
[Upbeat music plays, rotor blade thumping]
Bo pushes buttons on the controller, and mechanical arms attach a rotor blade to their top. Bo jumps into Mojo and fastens his seatbelt. Mojo flies through the opening in the ceiling, and Preston, as Dewey, stands on a landing skid.
Everyone says, CHOPPER-TOP!
[Dramatic music plays, tearing, screaming, wheels rumbling, Dot screaming]
In the town square, Dot’s bumper car breaks through the back of the Dewey stage and drives around the candy floss stand. She drives around Betty, and ice cream cones fall on the ground. She drives around people in front of the stage.
Someone shouts, OH, MY!
Someone else shouts, LOOK OUT!
[Dot screaming, Felix oinking]
Dot drives towards Felix the pig, who smells a flower. Jackson runs forward and picks up Felix.
Jackson shouts, FELIX!
[The music stops]
Nan falls backwards into Mayor Sunita’s arms.
Mayor Sunita says, IT'S NO USE! WE'LL NEVER CATCH HER!
Nan shouts, SOMEBODY SAVE HER!
[Adventurous music plays]
Dewey flies through the air on a cable attached to Mojo.
Preston, as Dewey, says, NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S HERE!
Bo says, CAREFUL DOWN THERE!
Dot shouts, DEWEY!
[Slide whistle, wheels rattling]
Dot looks up at Dewey.
Bo shouts, GRAB HER, PRESTON, I MEAN DEWEY!
Dewey reaches for Dot.
Preston, as Dewey, says, ALMOST! ALMOST! AH!
Dot reaches back for Dewey.
Dot shouts, DEWEY!
Dewey swings towards Dot and away.
Preston, as Dewey, says, WHOA! WHOA! AH!
Bo says, HOLD IT STEADY, MOJO.
[Leaves rustling]
Dot drives between trees, and Dewey bounces off the treetop.
Preston, as Dewey, shouts, AH! AH!
[Slide whistle, Preston grunting, thumping]
Dewey knocks over one of the Dewey cut-outs on the stage.
Bo points and shouts, LOOK OUT!
Nan shouts, SHE'S HEADING STRAIGHT FOR THE CANDY FLOSS STAND!
In the stand, Fabio says, OH, NO! NOT MY BEAUTIFUL CANDY FLOSS STAND!
[Dot screaming, Fabio screaming, crashing, Dewey screaming]
Jackson covers Felix’s eyes with his hand. Dewey swoops down and picks up Dot. Fabio jumps out of the stand, and the bumper car crashes into the front. Dewey lands on the ground, holding Dot.
Dot says, THANKS, DEWEY DRAGON. YOU'RE MY HERO!
[Stand exploding, squeaking, bumper cars whirring]
Dewey carries Dot away from the stand, and it explodes behind them. Later, Dot, Lot, and Tot ride their bumper cars on the ride floor.
Dot cheers, WAHOO!
Bo says, WELL DONE, PRESTON. DEWEY SAVED THE DAY. EVERYONE LOVES HIM MORE THAN EVER.
Mojo says, YOU CAN PROBABLY TAKE THE COSTUME OFF NOW.
[Costume squeaking]
Preston, as Dewey, says, UH, I THINK NOT. I'VE ACTUALLY BECOME QUITE PARTIAL TO IT. RIGHT, I'M OFF. DEWEY'S FANS AWAIT. NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S HERE!
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
The children drive their bumper cars off the ride and chase Dewey.
Preston, as Dewey, says, NO! NO! NOT AGAIN!
[Upbeat music plays, rotor blades thumping]
Bo says, NEVER FEAR!
Mojo says, MOJO AND BO ARE HERE!
[Upbeat music plays]

[Car doors slamming, thumping]
Both say, NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S HERE!
[Horn blaring, Bo screaming, crashing, clicking, beeping, upbeat music plays]
Bo falls on the floor. He stands and pushes a button on a computer. Dewey appears on the screen.
Dewey says, NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S HERE!
[The music stops]
Bo and Mojo squeal, DEWEY!
Dewey says, HELLO, BO! HELLO, MOJO!
Bo and Mojo say, HE KNOWS OUR NAMES!
Dewey says, UH, JUST A SEC.
[Rustling, creaking, grunting]
Preston removes the top of his Dewey costume.
Mojo says, OH, IT'S PRESTON.
[Banging, light music notes play]
Bo elbows Mojo.
Mojo says, I MEAN, HI, PRESTON!
Preston says, THE REAL DEWEY CAN'T MAKE IT TODAY! SO, I'M STANDING IN. DO ALL DEWEY DRAGON FANS SCREAM LIKE THAT?
Bo says, MORE! PEOPLE LOVE DEWEY!
Bo and Mojo squee, EEE!
[Tapping]
Mojo bounces on their front tires.
Mojo says, DEWEY! I'M SO EXCITED!
Preston says, UH, THIS JOB MAY BE HARDER THAN I THOUGHT. I NEED YOU TWO TO HELP ME WITH MY BIG DEWEY DRAGON SHOW!
[Upbeat music plays]
Bo says, ANYTHING FOR DEWEY!
Mojo says, HELPING DEWEY IS WHAT WE DEWEY!
[Beeping, chiming, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Bo pushes a button. An opening in the ceiling closes, and Bo picks up his controller. He and Mojo look at the computer screen displaying the monster top.
Bo says, I KNOW WHAT WE NEED! THE MONSTER-TOP! A DRAGON IS A KIND OF MONSTER.
[Beeping]
The boat top appears on the screen.
Mojo says, A MONSTER DOESN'T NEED A MONSTER-TOP. WE COULD USE THE BOAT TOP SO DEWEY DRAGON CAN WATER SKI.
Bo says, AND GET THAT COSTUME ALL WET? ALL HE NEEDS IS SOMETHING TO RIDE IN AND BE UP HIGH WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE HIM.
[Beeping, both gasping]
Both say, IT'S TIME TO SWOP THAT TOP!
[Beeping, chiming, whirring, upbeat music plays, clanking, engine revving]
Mojo drives onto a platform and rises on a vehicle lift. Bo pushes buttons on the controller. Mechanical arms replace Mojo’s tires with tracks and attach a U-shaped blade in front of Mojo. Bo jumps into Mojo’s cab and fastens his seatbelt. The garage door opens, and Mojo leaves and drives down a road.
Mojo and Bo say, DOZER-TOP!
[Crowd chattering excitedly, cheering, upbeat music plays]
In the town square, people walk past a candy floss stand towards a stage with a giant cut-out of Dewey on each side. Betty, the ice cream truck, is parked on the other side of the square by a fountain. Tot, Dot, and Lot stand in the front row, each holding a Dewey stuffed toy.
[Dramatic music plays]
Bo says, AND NOW, THE DRAGON YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! IT'S DEWEY!
Pink smoke flows out of the nostrils of the cut-outs. Preston, dressed as Dewey, rises over the stage.
Dot shouts, AH! IT'S DEWEY!
Preston, as Dewey, says, HELLO, SWOPPITON!
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY!
[Gasping, thumping, the music stops, crowd gasping]
Preston, as Dewey, steps forward and falls onto the stage.
Preston, as Dewey, says, UH, I'M, I'M OKAY.
[Party horn tooting, confetti rustling, upbeat music plays]
Confetti falls around Dewey, and he stands.
Preston, as Dewey, says, HELLO! YES, I'M DEWEY! DEWEY THE DRAGON! THAT'S ME!
Behind the stage, Mojo whispers, THAT'S IT, PRESTON. YOU'RE DOING GREAT!
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
Preston, as Dewey, says, NEVER FEAR!
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
Preston, as Dewey, says, UH, DEWEY'S HERE?
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
Dot, Lot, and Tot drop their stuffies and crawl onto the stage. They walk towards Dewey with huge eyes and outstretched arms.
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
[Thumping, squeaking]
Dewey backs up and hits the back of the stage. He sits down.
Preston, as Dewey, says, OH! DEWEY'S DOWN! DEWEY'S DOWN! DEWEY'S DOWN!
On the stage, the children run to Dewey. In front of the stage, Jackson and Mayor Sunita wince and recoil.
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
[Creaking, crashing]
Dewey stands with the children hanging onto the side of the costume. Lot tugs on the tongue. Dewey falls and stands with only Dot and Lot holding on.
Preston, as Dewey, shouts, I'M NOT DEWEY!
Tot tackles Dewey, and he falls.
Mayor Sunita says, OH.
Preston, as Dewey, shouts, AH! HELP!
The children shout, DEWEY! WE LOVE YOU!
[Thumping]
Dewey falls off the stage and runs.
Preston, as Dewey, says, DEWEY HAS TO GO!
[Energetic music plays]
Dot shouts, HE'S GETTING AWAY! QUICK! LET'S GO AFTER HIM! DEWEY, COME BACK!
[Clicking, engines whirring, thumping, Dewey grunting]
Dewey runs across a bumper car ride and down a road. Behind him, the children get into bumper cars and drive them through the wall surrounding the ride.
Dot shouts, DEWEY, WE LOVE YOU! WHICH WAY DID HE GO?
[Upbeat music plays]
Dewey runs to Bo and Mojo.
Preston, as Dewey, says, NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S OUTTA HERE!
[Whooshing, tires squealing]
The children swerve around Bo and Mojo and follow Dewey down the road.
Mojo says, WOW! DOT AND HER COUSINS ARE EVEN BIGGER FANS THAN US.
Bo says, WE HAVE TO GO HELP PRESTON BEFORE DOT CATCHES UP WITH HIM.
[Engine whirring]
Bo says, SHE'S GOT FAN FEVER!
[Tense music plays]
At an intersection, Preston looks left and right anxiously through an opening in the mouth of his Dewey costume.
Preston says, UH, UH, OH.
[Whooshing, whirring, tires squealing]
Preston, as Dewey, hides behind a tree as Dot, Lot, and Tot stop their bumper cars at the intersection.
Preston, as Dewey, says, MMM, MMM, HUH?
[Costume squeaking]
Dewey crosses the road behind the cars, running to the children’s left.
Dot says, DON'T WORRY! HE CAN'T HAVE GOT FAR. LET'S TRY THIS WAY.
[Tires squealing, energetic music plays]
The children turn right. Dewey runs, leaving a trail of pink dragon scales behind him.
Bo says, PRESTON, WHERE ARE YOU?
Mojo says, HE MUST BE AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE.
[Tires screeching]
Mojo stops.
Bo says, LOOK!
Mojo asks, WHAT ARE THOSE?
[Footsteps pattering, whooshing]
Bo says, HMM.
[Sniffing, upbeat music plays]
Bo picks up a scale and smells it. He peers at it through a magnifying glass.
Bo says, THEY LOOK LIKE DRAGON SCALES.
[Engine humming]
Bo looks at the trail leading to the base of a tree. He and Mojo go to the tree and look at the scales.
Bo says, THE TRAIL ENDS HERE.
Mojo says, THEN HE MUST BE AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE.
[Slide whistle, thumping, shouting]
Mojo reverses and hits the tree.
Mojo says, OH, SORRY, TALKING TREE!
[Slide whistle, leaves rustling]
Preston, as Dewey, pokes his head out of the top of the tree.
Preston, as Dewey, says, IT'S ME! PRESTON. ARE THE FANS STILL FOLLOWING ME?
Bo says, NO! I THINK YOU LOST THEM.
[Dramatic music plays]
Dot says, HEY!
Preston, as Dewey, says, AH!
[Leaves rustling]
Dewey ducks back into the tree.
Mojo and Bo say, AH!
[Engines whirring]
Dot demands, WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO THAT TREE? IS THERE A DRAGON HIDING IN IT?
Bo says, A DRAGON HIDING IN THIS TREE?
[Bo snickering]
Bo says, NO!
Mojo says, WE, UH, WE DID SEE A DRAGON.
Bo says, BUT, UH, HE WENT THAT WAY!
[Whooshing]
Bo points at a road.
Bo asks, RIGHT, TREE?
[Leaves rustling]
Preston, as Dewey, says, UH, YES! DEFINITELY THAT WAY!
Dot says, HMM. THE TALKING TREE SAID HE WENT THAT WAY!
Tot says, OKAY, LET'S GO!
[Engines whirring, thumping]
The children drive down the road.
Bo says, ALL RIGHT, PRESTON. I THINK IT'S SAFE TO COME DOWN NOW.
[Leaves rustling, costume creaking]
Preston, as Dewey, asks, CAN YOU HELP ME? THE HEAD'S GOT STUCK AGAIN!
Bo replies, RIGHT. LET'S SORT THIS OUT BACK AT THE SWOP SHOP.
Mojo says, GET IN QUICKLY! SO THEY DON'T SPOT YOU.
[Whirring]
Mojo lifts the U-shaped blade.
Bo says, CAREFUL, PRESTON. MIND YOU DON'T FALL.
[Leaves rustling, dramatic music plays]
Preston, as Dewey, says, OKAY, JUST A SEC. IF I CAN JUST-- AH!
[Leaves rustling, engines whirring, costume squeaking]
Dewey falls out of the tree and lands on Bo. On the road, the children stop their cars and look behind them.
Dot asks, WHAT WAS THAT?
[Tot laughing, upbeat music plays]
Dewey stands.
Tot says, AH!
Dot cheers, YAY! IT'S DEWEY!
[Car rattling, whirring]
Lot and Tot drive towards Dewey while Dot’s bumper car stalls. She drives behind the others.
Dot says, HANG ON! WAIT FOR ME!
Mojo says, QUICK! WE'D BETTER GET OUT OF HERE.
[Engines whirring, energic music plays]
Mojo scoops Dewey and Bo in the blade, and the children follow in their bumper cars.
Preston, as Dewey, shouts, WHOA!
Dot shouts, DEWEY, COME BACK!
Mojo asks, ARE THEY STILL FOLLOWING US?
Bo looks behind Mojo.
Bo says, FASTER, MOJO! WHOA!
Dot’s bumper car weaves on the road and emits smoke.
Dot says, HUH? UH-OH!
[Engine rattling]
On a hill outside of town, Ted drives down a winding road.
Ted says, WE ARE ON OUR WAY.
[Energetic music plays, tires squealing]
The children chase Mojo on the road. Mojo glances behind them and then looks ahead, noticing Ted driving towards them.
Mojo shouts, AH!
Ted shouts, LOOK OUT!
[Everyone screaming, Bo grunting, tires screeching, clunking, tense music plays]
Mojo drives on two tires and passes Ted. Mojo and Dewey fall off the U-shaped blade and roll down a hill.
Mojo says, PHEW!
The smiling children drive past Mojo and follow Bo and Dewey down the hill. Dewey rolls down the road, and Bo runs on top of him.
Bo shouts, AH! AH! AH! AH! LOOK OUT FOR THAT TREE!
A fallen tree lies blocking the road.
Bo shouts, AH!
Mojo drives down the hill and scoops up Dewey and Bo.
Mojo says, I'VE GOT YOU!
[Energetic music plays, whirring, clanking]
The children stop their bumper cars beside the fallen tree and watch Mojo drive away.
Dot sadly says, DEWEY!
[Engine rumbling]
Preston leans around the edge of the blade and looks back at the children.
Preston, as Dewey, says, NO DEWEY FOR YOU-EE!
[Sad music plays]
Dot’s eyes fill with tears.
Dot asks, DID YOU HEAR THAT? I DON'T THINK DEWEY LIKES US.
[Engine rumbling]
Preston, as Dewey, says, OH. OH, DEAR.
Preston sits on the blade.
Tot says, COME ON, DOT. LET'S GO HOME.
Dot says, YEAH, LET'S GO.
[Engine whirring, tires screeching]
Dot turns her car, and smoke rises.
Dot says, AH! MY BUMPER CAR!
[Thumping, clanking, whooshing, zooming]
Dot’s bumper car hits the fallen tree, and the hood opens. The car spins, turns, and races back up the road.
Dot screams, WHOA!
[Upbeat music plays, whirring, costume squeaking, Preston grunting, thumping]
In the Swop Shop Headquarters, Bo uses his controller. Mechanical arms hold the feet of the Dewey costume, and a mechanical arm holds a plunger that attaches to the head. Preston lies on a small platform as the mechanical arms pull the costume in different directions. The head detaches, and Preston falls to the floor, still wearing the bottom half of the costume.
Bo says, GOT IT!
[Costume squeaking]
Preston says, OOF. OH, THANKS, YOU TWO. I GUESS THAT'S MY TIME AS DEWEY DRAGON OVER!
[Sad music plays]
Mojo asks, WHAT'S WRONG, PRESTON?
Preston says, I CAN'T HELP FEELING LIKE I LET THE FANS DOWN. WHAT IF THEY DON'T LIKE DEWEY ANYMORE BECAUSE OF ME?
Dot screaming, WHOA!
[Whooshing, tense music plays]
Dot zooms past the open garage door, turns, and drives past again.
Dot shouts, DEWEY, WHERE ARE YOU? SAVE ME!
Preston says, DOT'S IN DANGER AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT! MOJO, BO, THERE'S A SMALL CHILD IN A RUNAWAY BUMPER CAR! YOU'VE GOTTA RESCUE HER, BUT YOU GOTTA HAVE HELP FROM DEWEY DRAGON!
[Bumping]
Preston puts on his Dewey head backwards.
Bo says, IT'S TIME TO—
Preston says, muffled, SWOP THAT--
Preston turns the Dewey head so he peeks through the open mouth.
Preston says, SWOP THAT TOP!
[Giggling]
Preston says, I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SAY THAT.
[Upbeat music plays, rotor blade thumping]
Bo pushes buttons on the controller, and mechanical arms attach a rotor blade to their top. Bo jumps into Mojo and fastens his seatbelt. Mojo flies through the opening in the ceiling, and Preston, as Dewey, stands on a landing skid.
Everyone says, CHOPPER-TOP!
[Dramatic music plays, tearing, screaming, wheels rumbling, Dot screaming]
In the town square, Dot’s bumper car breaks through the back of the Dewey stage and drives around the candy floss stand. She drives around Betty, and ice cream cones fall on the ground. She drives around people in front of the stage.
Someone shouts, OH, MY!
Someone else shouts, LOOK OUT!
[Dot screaming, Felix oinking]
Dot drives towards Felix the pig, who smells a flower. Jackson runs forward and picks up Felix.
Jackson shouts, FELIX!
[The music stops]
Nan falls backwards into Mayor Sunita’s arms.
Mayor Sunita says, IT'S NO USE! WE'LL NEVER CATCH HER!
Nan shouts, SOMEBODY SAVE HER!
[Adventurous music plays]
Dewey flies through the air on a cable attached to Mojo.
Preston, as Dewey, says, NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S HERE!
Bo says, CAREFUL DOWN THERE!
Dot shouts, DEWEY!
[Slide whistle, wheels rattling]
Dot looks up at Dewey.
Bo shouts, GRAB HER, PRESTON, I MEAN DEWEY!
Dewey reaches for Dot.
Preston, as Dewey, says, ALMOST! ALMOST! AH!
Dot reaches back for Dewey.
Dot shouts, DEWEY!
Dewey swings towards Dot and away.
Preston, as Dewey, says, WHOA! WHOA! AH!
Bo says, HOLD IT STEADY, MOJO.
[Leaves rustling]
Dot drives between trees, and Dewey bounces off the treetop.
Preston, as Dewey, shouts, AH! AH!
[Slide whistle, Preston grunting, thumping]
Dewey knocks over one of the Dewey cut-outs on the stage.
Bo points and shouts, LOOK OUT!
Nan shouts, SHE'S HEADING STRAIGHT FOR THE CANDY FLOSS STAND!
In the stand, Fabio says, OH, NO! NOT MY BEAUTIFUL CANDY FLOSS STAND!
[Dot screaming, Fabio screaming, crashing, Dewey screaming]
Jackson covers Felix’s eyes with his hand. Dewey swoops down and picks up Dot. Fabio jumps out of the stand, and the bumper car crashes into the front. Dewey lands on the ground, holding Dot.
Dot says, THANKS, DEWEY DRAGON. YOU'RE MY HERO!
[Stand exploding, squeaking, bumper cars whirring]
Dewey carries Dot away from the stand, and it explodes behind them. Later, Dot, Lot, and Tot ride their bumper cars on the ride floor.
Dot cheers, WAHOO!
Bo says, WELL DONE, PRESTON. DEWEY SAVED THE DAY. EVERYONE LOVES HIM MORE THAN EVER.
Mojo says, YOU CAN PROBABLY TAKE THE COSTUME OFF NOW.
[Costume squeaking]
Preston, as Dewey, says, UH, I THINK NOT. I'VE ACTUALLY BECOME QUITE PARTIAL TO IT. RIGHT, I'M OFF. DEWEY'S FANS AWAIT. NEVER FEAR! DEWEY'S HERE!
The children chant, DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY! DEWEY!
The children drive their bumper cars off the ride and chase Dewey.
Preston, as Dewey, says, NO! NO! NOT AGAIN!
[Upbeat music plays, rotor blades thumping]
Bo says, NEVER FEAR!
Mojo says, MOJO AND BO ARE HERE!
[Upbeat music plays]
Singers sing, MOJO. SWOPTOPS. MOJO. SWOPTOPS. MOJO. SWOPTOPS.
