[Beeping]
At the Swop Shop Headquarters, Mojo reverses into the garage. Bo leans out the window and watches.
Mojo says, I LOVE THE NEW BACKING UP BEEPER, BO. BUT IT'S NOT LOUD ENOUGH!
Bo asks, WELL, HOW ABOUT THIS?
[Clicking, louder beeping]
Bo swipes on an arrow on the dashboard that has one light bar, and increases it to two light bars.
Mojo says, LOUDER.
[Louder beeping]
Bo increases the bars in the arrow to four.
Mojo says, LOUDER!
[Horn blaring, screaming]
Mojo says, TOO LOUD! TOO LOUD!
[Crashing, clinking, horn blaring, beeping, static hissing, Bo’s sneaker squeaking]
Mojo crashes, and a screw bounces across the floor. Bo pushes a button on the computer panel, and Ted appears on the screen.
Bo says, HI, TED! WHAT'S WRONG?
[Tense music plays]
On the screen, Ted says, IT'S BAD NEWS! TERRIBLE NEWS FROM THE TOWN SQUARE, BO AND MOJO! BECAUSE SOMEONE HAS TAKEN A HAND OFF THE CLOCK TOWER.
[Dramatic music plays, Bo and Mojo gasping]
Ted moves, revealing the clock tower with only one hand on the clock.
[Tense music plays]
Mojo exclaims, THERE SHOULD BE TWO!
Bo says, BUT THERE'S ONLY ONE!
Ted says, WITH THAT HAND MISSING, THE CLOCK BELL DOESN'T CHIME ANYMORE. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO STICK TO MY BUS SCHEDULE IF I CAN'T TELL WHAT TIME IT IS? IT COULD BE THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT FOR ALL I KNOW.
Mojo says, BUT THE SUN'S OUT, TED.
Ted says, OH, YES! SO IT IS. WELL, THAT'S PUT MY MIND AT EASE.
[Chuckling]
Ted says, BUT WE CAN'T BE EXPECTED TO NOTICE WHETHER IT'S NIGHT OR DAY ALL THE TIME. WE NEED TO GET THAT CLOCK HAND BACK SO WE'LL KNOW FOR SURE.
Mojo says, DON'T WORRY, TED.
Bo says, HELPING YOU IS WHAT WE DO!
[Beeping, chiming, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Bo pushes a button. An opening in the ceiling closes, and Bo picks up his controller. He and Mojo look at the computer screen.
Bo says, OKAY, WE NEED A TOP THAT'LL HELP US FIND THE MISSING CLOCK HAND.
[Beeping]
The jet top appears on the computer screen.
Mojo says, THE JET TOP. THAT WAY WE CAN SEARCH FOR THE CLOCK HAND FROM THE AIR.
[Whooshing, beeping]
The dozer top appears on the screen.
Bo asks, HOW ABOUT THE DOZER TOP? SO WE CAN DIG UP SOME CLUES!
Mojo says, NO, WE NEED A MYSTERY-SOLVING TOP TO SOLVE THIS CASE FAST.
Bo says, FAST, EH? HOW ABOUT--
[Beeping, both gasping]
Bo pushes a button on the controller.
Both say, IT'S TIME TO-- SWOP THAT TOP!
[Rock music plays, tires screeching, whirring, beeping, clicking]
Mojo drives onto a platform and rises on a vehicle lift. Bo pushes buttons on the controller, and mechanical arms remove Mojo’s tires and add a blue and white checkered rear deck fin over their trunk. Bo jumps into Mojo and fastens his seatbelt. The garage door opens, and Mojo drives out with their racer top.
Bo and Mojo say, RACER TOP!
[Engine revving, tires screeching, footsteps marching, Preston grunting, Nori giggling, clicking, whirring, engine rumbling, brakes squealing, serious music plays]
Mojo drives down a road. At the town hall, Preston marches back and forth in front of the doors, carrying a mop. Wooden barricades block the road in front of the building. On a raised platform, Nori turns on a spotlight, and Ted reverses and blocks an opening between the platform and the barricades. Mojo and Bo arrive.
Mojo says, EVENING, TED! INSPECTOR MOJO REPORTING FOR DUTY.
Bo says, WHOA! WHAT'S HAPPENED HERE?
Preston says, AH! WE'RE PROTECTING THE CLOCK FROM THE CLOCK HAND BANDIT. DAY AND NIGHT!
[Thumping, whooshing]
Preston bangs the broom handle on the ground.
Nori says, THAT'S RIGHT! NO ONE'S GETTING PAST THIS SPOTLIGHT.
[Squeaking]
Nori leans against her spotlight, it spins, and shines on her face. Nori falls off the platform.
Nori says, WHOA!
[Thumping]
Nori says, I'M FINE!
[Ted clanking]
Ted says, THE CLOCK HAND BANDIT MAY RETURN FOR THE OTHER HAND!
[Whooshing]
Preston waves his mop.
Preston says, OR THE NUMBERS!
Ted says, OR MAYBE EVEN THE TOWER! WHO KNOWS?
Mojo says, BUT NOBODY COULD GET PAST OFF OF THIS.
[Insects chirping, the music stops, door slamming]
Bo gets into Mojo’s driver’s seat.
Bo says, DON'T WORRY, EVERYONE. WE'LL FIND THAT CLOCK HAND BANDIT AND BRING BACK THE MISSING HAND!
Mojo says, MOJO AND BO ARE ON THE CASE!
[Engine revving, marching music plays]
Mojo drives away. Preston salutes Ted and marches back to patrol by the front doors. Ted moves forward and blocks the opening between the barricade and the platform.
Mojo asks, HOW ARE WE GONNA DO THAT, BO?
Bo replies, I'VE GOT NO IDEA! THAT CLOCK HAND COULD BE ANYWHERE BY NOW.
Mojo says, WE MAY NEVER GET IT BACK AND NEVER KNOW WHO TOOK IT!
Mayor Sunita whispers, PSST!
[Brakes screeching, tense music plays]
Mojo stops.
Mojo says, HUH?
Bo asks, MOJO, HAVE YOU GOT A PUNCTURE?
[Whooshing, leaves rustling]
Mayor Sunita leans out from behind a bush.
Mayor Sunita whispers, MOJO, BO! OVER HERE.
Bo says, MAYOR SUNITA?
[Car door slamming]
Bo gets out of Mojo.
Mojo asks, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HIDING BEHIND THAT BUSH?
Mayor Sunita whispers, I'M HIDING BECAUSE OF THIS!
[Tinging, dramatic music plays, Bo and Mojo gasping]
Mayor Sunita holds the gleaming, missing clock hand.
[The music stops, insects chirping]
Bo says, WAIT! YOU'RE THE CLOCK HAND BANDIT!
Mojo says, HEY! WE FIGURED IT OUT! WE'RE GOOD.
[Soft music plays]
Mayor Sunita whispers, SHH! NOT SO LOUD! YES, I TOOK THE CLOCK HAND. IT'S THE CLOCK BELL.
[Bell ringing, squeaking]
In a flashback at night, Mayor Sunita holds her head. She grabs the clock hand and it breaks.
Mayor Sunita continues, IT GOES OFF EVERY HOUR AND KEEPS ME AWAKE. I WAS JUST TRYING TO QUIET IT DOWN AND I BROKE THE HAND OFF BY MISTAKE.
The flashback ends.
[Whooshing]
Mayor Sunita waves the clock hand.
She says, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! NOW, I CAN'T PUT IT BACK WITHOUT EVERYONE KNOWING. DO YOU THINK YOU COULD HELP ME?
Bo says, I DON'T KNOW. THAT TOWER IS PRETTY WELL GUARDED. EVEN TO GET CLOSE, YOU'D NEED TO BE SILENT, YOU'D NEED TO BE SNEAKY, AND YOU'D NEED—
[Boinging]
Mojo asks, A COOL LITTLE TRUCK THAT SWOPS ITS TOP?
Bo says, EXACTLY! WE'LL DO IT!
Mayor Sunita says, OH, THANK YOU, BO AND MOJO.
[Tires screeching]
Mojo drives away from the mayor.
Bo and Mojo say, TIME FOR A HOT SWOP!
[Rock music plays, banging, beeping, whirring, clicking]
In the Swop Shop Headquarters, Bo pushes buttons on the controller, and mechanical arms remove Mojo’s tires, then close a panel concealing a fire extinguisher. Bo jumps into Mojo and fastens his seatbelt. The garage door opens, and Mojo drives out with a fire top. The sky above them is filled with stars.
Bo and Mojo say, FIRE TOP!
[Tires screeching, feet stomping, insects chirping, spotlight squeaking, upbeat music plays, whooshing, leaves rustling]
Mojo drives down a road. At the town hall, Preston marches in front of the doors. Nearby, Bo peers over a bush. He turns back to Mojo and Mayor Sunita, who holds the clock hand.
Bo says, OKAY, GUYS. WE'VE GOT ONE CLOCK HAND TO PUT BACK UP ONE REALLY TALL TOWER. WITH THE HELP OF MOJO'S LADDER, I CAN GET THE HAND BACK ONTO THE CLOCK. BUT TO DO THAT, WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO GET ME AND MOJO TO THE TOWER WITHOUT BEING SEEN.
Mojo says, INVISIBLE, CHECK!
[Leaves rustling]
Mojo, Bo, and the mayor peer over the bushes.
Bo says, FIRST THINGS FIRST! TO EVEN GET NEAR THE PLACE, WE'VE GOT TO GET PAST NORI'S SPOTLIGHT. I'M THINKING MAYBE IT'S TIME WE SEND HER SOME FLOWERS.
[Slide whistle, splatting]
Soil and a pink rose land on the spotlight.
Nori shouts, WHOA!
[Tapping]
Bo, Mojo, and the mayor tiptoe across the town square.
Bo narrates, NEXT, WE NEED TO GET THROUGH THE GATE, AND THAT MEANS TED. MAYOR SUNITA, IT'LL BE YOUR JOB TO DISTRACT HIM.
[Clanking]
Bo and Mojo press against the base of the platform behind Ted.
Ted says, HEY?
[Footsteps running, tense music plays]
Mayor Sunita says, TED! OH, THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE HERE! I JUST NEED TO DISTRACT, I, I, I, I MEAN I NEED TO TALK TO YOU.
[Ted clanking, insects chirping]
Ted says, HMM. OF COURSE! I'VE ALWAYS TIME TO BE DISTRACTED BY THE MAYOR!
Mayor Sunita says, WELL, UH, STEP THIS WAY AND TELL ME, UM, WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A BUS?
Ted says, OOH! THAT'S A FAIR QUESTION AND VERY DISTRACTING!
[Engine whirring, upbeat music plays, rustling, whooshing]
Ted drives forward away from the opening between the barricade and the platform.
Ted says, REMINDS ME OF THE TIME, YEARS AGO, WHEN I WAS DISTRACTED BY THE KING OF SWOPCERTON. THERE WAS A FELLOW WHO KNEW HOW TO DO A PROPER DISTRACTION.
[Footsteps marching]
Preston marches in front of the front doors.
Bo narrates, PRESTON'S GUARDING THE BASE OF THE TOWER, SO WE NEED TO GET RID OF HIM.
Bo whispers, MOJO, CAN YOU GIVE HIM A LITTLE CHANGE IN THE WEATHER?
[Footsteps marching, whirring, water spraying, Preston grunting, drops pattering]
Mojo sprays water into the air, and drops fall on Preston.
Preston says, RAIN? TONIGHT? HMM. WHY WASN'T I INFORMED? I'M GOING TO GET MY UMBRELLA.
[Whirring, upbeat music continues]
Mojo moves the spray, so rain continues falling on Preston as he walks away. Bo rides the ladder up to the clock tower. He stands on the top of the ladder, attached by a rope and harness.
Bo narrates, MOJO WILL LIFT ME UP ON THE LADDER TO THE CLOCK. AND I'LL GET THAT HAND BACK ON THE CLOCK EASILY.
[Bo grunting]
Bo stretches but cannot reach the centre of the clock.
Bo says UM.
[Grunting]
Bo says OH, UM. WHOA! HA-HA!
[Grunting, thudding, insects chirping, the music stops]
Bo leans forward and attaches the hand to the clock. His toes rest on the ladder, and he holds the clock hand.
Bo says, UH, MOJO?
[Mojo humming]
Bo says, MOJO!
[Mojo humming, gasping, tense music plays]
Mojo opens their eyes and looks up at Bo.
Bo says, BACK A BIT!
Mojo says, OKAY, BO! HANG IN THERE.
[Beeping, Mojo gasping]
Mojo reverses.
Mojo says, THE BACKING UP BEEPERS!
Bo says, QUICKLY, MOJO! QUICKLY!
[Beeping, dramatic music plays]
Preston startles. On the platform, Nori removes the soil from the top of the spotlight. Ted looks away from the mayor.
Nori says, HUH?
[Beeping, Mojo grunting, banging]
Bo hits the centre of the clock where the hand attaches.
Bo says, THAT'S ENOUGH, MOJO! HOLD IT THERE!
Ted asks, WHAT'S THAT NOISE?
Preston says, NORI, THE SPOTLIGHT!
[Soil rustling, spotlight squeaking, ladder creaking, clanking]
Nori brushes the last of the soil off the light and turns it towards the town hall. Bo attaches his rope to the centre of the clock, and Mojo pulls down the ladder. Bo dangles from the centre of the clock as the spotlight shines on Mojo.
Bo says, WHOA!
Mojo says, UH.
[Dramatic music plays, Mojo gasping, footsteps rustling]
Ted says, MOJO? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?
Mojo says, UH, WHO? ME?
Preston asks, AND WHERE'S BO?
Mojo says, HE'S, UH, HANGING AROUND SOMEWHERE?
[Dramatic music plays]
Bo holds onto the clock hand.
Bo says, UH, UH.
Preston says, HANGING AROUND? BUT I THOUGHT HE WAS SEARCHING FOR THE CLOCK HAND BANDIT.
Ted says, YEAH.
[Clicking, Bo gasping]
The clock hand moves.
Mojo says, WE WERE, WE WERE. WE WERE, UM, WE WERE JUST TESTING OUT OUR NEW FIRE TOP.
[Water spraying]
Preston opens his umbrella and closes it when the water stops. He and Ted move closer to Mojo.
Ted says, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO. SOMETHING VERY ODD ABOUT THIS. VERY ODD INDEED.
[Clicking]
The clock hand moves.
Bo says, WHOA!
[Tense music continues, footsteps marching]
Mojo says, THERE'S AN EXPLANATION. IT'S JUST THAT I, UH-- CAN'T THINK OF IT.
Preston and Ted watch Mojo with narrowed eyes.
Preston says, YES, BUT HANG ON A MINUTE. HOW DID YOU EVEN GET IN HERE?
[Clicking]
The clock hand moves to six and points straight down.
Bo says, AH!
Mojo says, OH, UM, THAT'S EASY. WE, WE WERE-- WE WERE--
[Bo groaning]
Bo slides down the clock hand.
Ted asks, YOU WERE WHAT?
Mojo says, UH?
[The mayor screaming]
Ted asks, WHAT'S THAT NOW?
Nori says, HUH?
[Squeaking, footsteps running, the music stops]
Nori swings the spotlight away from Mojo and shines it on Mayor Sunita. The mayor stands at the base of the platform with her arms spread. Ted and Preston turn away from the town hall.
Mayor Sunita shouts, HELP!
[Dramatic music plays, Bo shouting, slide whistle, water spraying]
Bo loses his grip and falls. Mojo sprays water, and Bo floats on top.
Ted says, MAYOR SUNITA?
Preston asks, WHAT'S WRONG?
Mayor Sunita says, THE CLOCK HAND BANDIT! UN, I MEAN I THOUGHT I SAW HIM.
[Preston and Ted gasping, tense music plays]
Mayor Sunita says, I MEAN, UM, OH, HELLO, BO!
[Upbeat music notes play, water dripping]
Bo leans against Mojo, dripping.
Bo says, HA-HA. HEY.
[Bell ringing, spotlight squeaking, upbeat music plays]
Nori points the spotlight at the clock tower.
Nori says, WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT!
Preston says, HUH? THE MISSING CLOCK HAND IS BACK!
The mayor says, WELL, ISN'T THAT AMAZING?
Ted says, WELL, THE CLOCK HAND BANDIT MUST HAVE SENSED YOU WERE CLOSING IN.
Bo says, WELL, WE DID SAY WE WERE ON THE CASE.
Mojo says, AND NOW THAT THE CLOCK IS WORKING AGAIN, WE CAN ALL GO TO BED AND NEVER WONDER WHAT HAPPENED EVER AGAIN.
[Bell ringing]
Mayor Sunita says, YES, AND BE WOKEN UP BY THE BELL EVERY TIME IT CHIMES. AGAIN.
Nori says, OH, NO NEED FOR THAT. JUST TURN THE VOLUME DOWN.
[Slide whistle, clicking, quieter bell ringing, insects chirping]
Nori opens a control panel and pulls a lever down.
Mayor Sunita says, THAT'S ALL I HAD TO DO? TURN THE VOLUME DOWN?
[Hand slapping]
Mayor Sunita hits her face with her palm.
Mojo says, A VOLUME CONTROL. THAT'S MUCH EASIER THAN TAKING THE CLOCK HAND AND PRETENDING IT WAS A BANDIT.
Ted says, EH?
Preston says, HUH?
Mojo says, WHICH IS, UM, UH, DEFINITELY NOT WHAT HAPPENED.
Bo says, BECAUSE BO AND MOJO ARE ON THE CASE!
[Beeping, engine whirring, rumbling]
Bo jumps into Mojo’s cab, and Mojo reverses away from the town hall. They drive away on a nearby road.
Bo shouts, GOODNIGHT, EVERYBODY!
[Insects chirping, Nori, Preston, and Ted cheering]
[Upbeat music plays]
Singers sing, MOJO. SWOPTOPS. MOJO. SWOPTOPS. MOJO. SWOPTOPS.

SWOPTOPS. MOJO. SWOPTOPS. MOJO. SWOPTOPS.
