DESCRIPTION: In an animation, Posy, a brown-haired mouse, steps forward.

DESCRIPTION: Pip, a grey-haired rabbit, steps forward.
PIP: Posy!
[Both giggle]
DESCRIPTION: Pip and Posy grab each other’s hands and dance together. Pip wears a long-sleeved white-and-green striped shirt and jeans. Posy wears a blue-and-red T-shirt with a blue-and-white polka-dot skirt. Pip carries Posy on his back. Posy tosses her toy frog, Froggy, high in the air. She catches Froggy as Pip’s toy pig, Piggy, lands in Pip’s hand.
PIP: Oh!
[Both giggle]
POSY: Come on!
BOTH SAY: Let’s play!
[Both giggle]
DESCRIPTION: Pip and Posy run together.

[Upbeat music plays, snow rustles]
DESCRIPTION: In Pip’s snowy side yard, Pip and Posy build a snowman. Posy puts a carrot nose over a stick mouth on the face.
POSY: An orangey nose...Boop!
DESCRIPTION: Pip puts a blue button and a larger purple button above the carrot nose.
PIP: And two shiny button eyes.
[Both giggle]
PIP: They're a bit wonky, but they suit you, Snowy. Snowy Joey!
POSY: Snowy Joey!
[Posy giggles]
POSY: She looks great! Look at her curly-wurly smile!
PIP: What else? Oh, I know!
[Pip giggles, gate clinks, wreath rustles, Pip imitates a trumpet fanfare]
DESCRIPTION: Pip opens a gate and runs to the front door. He removes a wreath with red berries and a red bow, carries it back, and puts it on Snow Joey’s head.
PIP: A lovely crown!
[Pip giggles]
PIP: She's perfect.
[Posy giggles]
[The music stops]
PIP: What's that, Snowy Joey?
[Pip gasps]
PIP: She said she's gonna stay with us all winter!
POSY: Yes! Hm, is that your tummy rumbling? Rum-rum-rum-rum!
[Both giggle, snow rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Pip makes a snowball.
PIP: Ooh, let's make her a yummy snow cake.
POSY: Oh.
[Posy giggles, snow crunches, icicle snaps, Pip gasps, giggles]
DESCRIPTION: Posy runs to a rain barrel and breaks an icicle hanging off the faucet. She gives it to Pip.
POSY: And an icicle lolly.
PIP: Snowy Joey's feast of icicles. Yum!
DESCRIPTION: Pip pretends to feed the icicle to Snowy Joey, then drops it in the snow.
PIP: Brr! It's really nice-icles!
[Posy laughs, Pip giggles]
PIP: Oh, it's snowing again.
[Posy squeals, raindrop plops, Posy giggles]
DESCRIPTION: Posy sticks out her tongue and catches a raindrop.
POSY: Huh? That's not snow, it's rain! Quick, let's go inside.
[Soft music plays]
PIP: Aw, but what about Snowy Joey? She'll melt if she gets wet.
POSY: Oh, um...
[Posy giggles, door opens and closes]
DESCRIPTION: Posy runs inside the house.
PIP: Posy? Oh, um...
[Pip groans, door opens, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Pip puts his hands over Snow Joey
POSY: Ta-da!
[Pip giggles]
DESCRIPTION: Posy returns with a pink polka-dot umbrella and gives it to Pip.
PIP: Great idea!
[Rain pitters]
DESCRIPTION: Pip holds the umbrella over himself, Posy, and Snowy Joey.
PIP: Don't worry, Joey. You're safe now.
[Rain pitters]
DESCRIPTION: Posy shivers.
POSY: Oh, I'm getting a bit cold. Oh, we can have one of your brilliant hottie chockies!
PIP: But I can't leave Snowy Joey.
POSY: Oh, yeah.
[The rain stops, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Posy puts her hand out from under the umbrella.
POSY: Pip, it stopped! Nothing to stop us having a hottie chockie now.
DESCRIPTION: Pip puts his hand out hesitantly.
PIP: Uh, um...
[Rustle, Pip giggles]
DESCRIPTION: Posy grabs the umbrella and dances around the yard.
POSY: Hottie chockie, hottie chockie, hottie chockie!
[Pip giggles, door slams]
PIP: Okay then. Back in a mo-ey, Joey.
[Snow crunches, bird sings, snow rustles, the music stops, Pip hums, mugs thunk]
DESCRIPTION: Pip walks away from Snowy Joey as the sun comes out from behind the clouds. Snowy Joey slumps to the side slightly, and snow falls off the head. Later, inside, Pip carries a tray with two mugs to his dining room table. Posy sits smiling as he gives her a purple mug.
POSY: Yummy!
[Posy blows, slurps, mug taps]
DESCRIPTION: Posy blows on her hottie chockie, sips it, and puts the mug on the table.
POSY: Oh, still a tiny bit hot.
PIP: I thought I had marshmallows, but I couldn't find them.
[Posy gasps, chair scrapes]
DESCRIPTION: Posy stands.
POSY: Marshmallows? Are you sure you looked everywhere? Um, I'll have a look too.
[Upbeat music plays, both giggle, door slams]
DESCRIPTION: Posy runs into the kitchen.
PIP: I bet Snowy Joey likes marshmallows. They're white and fluffy, just like—
[Pip gasps, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Through a window, Pip watches the blue eye button fall off, melting Snowy Joey.
PIP SHOUTS: Joey!
[Upbeat music plays, Pip grunts, door opens, slams, kitchen door opens]
DESCRIPTION: Pip runs away from the table. Posy opens the kitchen door and enters the room, holding up a blue package.
POSY: Told you I'd find them!
[Posy giggles]
POSY: Uh, Pip?
[Pip grunts, door opens, shuts]
DESCRIPTION: Outside, Pip kneels on the snow and puts snow on Snowy Joey. Posy arrives behind him.
POSY: Oh.
PIP: I knew I shouldn't have left her. She's melting!
[Rustle]
DESCRIPTION: The stick mouth slides down on one side as the head rests on the snow. Pip moves the stick mouth back up.
PIP: Oh, don't be sad. Here.
[Snow rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Posy runs to the other side of Snowy Joey and helps Pip pack snow on the sides.
POSY: Hm, it's too sunny. Maybe it'll snow tomorrow. We can build a new Joey then.
[Pip gasps]
PIP: How can you say that? There's only one Snowy Joey.
POSY: Okay, okay.
[Snow rustles, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Pip adds snow to Snowy Joey.
POSY: Oh, uh, oh...We need to keep her cold.
[Pip gasps]
PIP: My fridge is cold!
POSY: Oh, how would you get her there?
[Pip gasps, pants, snow rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Pip runs toward the house and returns with the hottie chockie tray. He places it on the snow in front of Snowy Joey’s head.
PIP: Okay, push!
[Snow rustles, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Pip and Posy stand behind Snowy Joey and push the snowman toward the tray.
PIP: Carefully...
[Pip gasps, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: They push Snowy Joey onto the tray.
PIP: We did it!
POSY: To the fridge!
[Pip grunts, snow rustles, door creaks]
DESCRIPTION: Pip picks up the tray, and Posy runs ahead of him, opening the two patio doors.
PIP: It's okay, Joey. We'll get you somewhere nice an—
[Thump, Pip grunts]
DESCRIPTION: Pip trips on a small step leading into the house, and the tray slides out of his hands.
PIP: Whoa!
[Splat, Pip gasps, tense music plays, tray thunks]
DESCRIPTION: Snowy Joey falls off the tray and splatters on the floor. Pip puts the tray on the floor and kneels behind it.
PIP: No! Joey! Don't worry, I can fix you!
[Snow rustles, Pip whimpers]
DESCRIPTION: Pip puts snow on the tray. Posy kneels beside the tray, and Pip drops snow.
POSY: Pip, I don't think you can fix her anymore.
PIP: Of course I can!
[Snow rustles, Pip groans]
DESCRIPTION: Pip picks up snow and looks at it. He drops it, and Posy gently puts her hand on his right shoulder.
POSY: Pip, she's gone.
[Sad music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Pip’s shoulders slump.
PIP: Oh.
[The music stops]
POSY: I'm sorry, Pip. Can I do something to make you happy?
PIP: I don't feel like being happy. I feel like being sad. Poor Joey.
[Thump]
DESCRIPTION: Posy rubs Pip’s shoulder.
PIP: I'm really gonna miss her.
[Posy sighs]
POSY: I know.
[Pip sniffles]
PIP: But she's all puddly now. She used to be so white and fluffy, like cotton wool.
POSY: With her rumbly tummy.
PIP: And wonky button eyes. But now I'll never see her again.
DESCRIPTION: Posy looks at a bottle of glue and a bag full of cotton balls on an easel tray.
POSY: Well, not exactly.
[Rustle, Posy hums, zipping]
DESCRIPTION: Posy picks up the art supplies and walks to a table. She picks up the glue.
POSY: Pip, what else did you love about Snowy Joey?
DESCRIPTION: Pip stands.
PIP: Oh, her... her orangey nose. What are you doing?
[Rustling]
DESCRIPTION: Posy reaches into a pencil case.
POSY: Yes! I can't bring Snowy Joey back, but we can make something to remember her.
[Upbeat music plays, glue squelches]
DESCRIPTION: Posy glues a cotton ball to a piece of white paper.
[Pip gasps]
PIP: Joey!
DESCRIPTION: On the paper, an orange cylinder is glued beneath the purple and blue button eyes. Three cotton balls curve below the orange cylinder, and two are above the blue eye.
[Pip gasps]
PIP: Don't forget her curly-wurly smile!
[Posy giggles]
DESCRIPTION: Posy puts a piece of purple yarn beneath the button eyes and orange cylinder nose.
POSY: Boop!
[Upbeat music plays, stickers rustle, Posy giggles, glue squelches, Pip gasps]
DESCRIPTION: Pip takes a snowflake sticker, and it sticks to his finger. Posy takes it and puts it below Snowy Joey’s smile. Pip puts another sticker above the purple eye. Posy squirts glue on the paper, and Pip adds cotton balls. Cotton balls ring Snowy Joey’s face, with snowflake stickers above and below. Pip and Posy sit back and look at the picture.
PIP: Snowy Joey, it's perfect!
[Wreath rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Posy picks up the wreath.
POSY: Not quite!
DESCRIPTION: Pip puts the wreath over the picture, encircling the face.
PIP: Wow!
POSY: There, now she really can stay all winter.
DESCRIPTION: Pip puts his hand on Posy’s left shoulder.
PIP: Thanks, Posy.
[Posy slurps]
DESCRIPTION: Posy picks up her hottie chockie, and drinks.
POSY: Mm, just right.

POSY: Marshmallows!
[Package rustles, marshmallows thump]
DESCRIPTION: Posy takes marshmallows out of the package and drops one in Pip’s mug, one in her mug, and puts one on the table beside the wreath.
POSY: One for you, one for me, and one for Snowy Joey.
[Posy giggles]
DESCRIPTION: Pip adjusts the thread mouth into a curvy smile.
PIP: Mm! She likes it.
[Both giggle, mugs tap]
DESCRIPTION: Pip and Posy pick up their mugs and tap them together.
