[Both giggle]
Description: Pip and Posy grab each other’s hands and dance together. Pip wears a long-sleeved white-and-green striped shirt and jeans. Posy wears a blue-and-red T-shirt with a blue-and-white polka-dot skirt. Pip carries Posy on his back. Posy tosses her toy frog, Froggy, high in the air. She catches Froggy as Pip’s toy pig, Piggy, lands in Pip’s hand.
Pip: Oh!
[Both giggle]
Posy: Come on!
Pip and Posy: Let’s play!
[Both giggle]

Description: On the porch of the Playing Spot, Posy slides a drawing of a sandwich into a pink envelope. Paper and envelopes lie scattered on the porch behind where she and Pip sit.
Posy: The last invitation for our picnic is done!
[Posy giggles]
Description: Posy gives Pip the invitation, and he picks up a flower sticker.
Pip: Hm. I put a star on Frankie's, a ball on Zac's, so I'll pick a flower for—
[Bike bell rings]
Pip and Posy: Jamila!
Description: Pip and Posy jump to their feet and run to Jamila, who rides a purple-and-blue bike. She wears a yellow-and-orange striped helmet.
Jamila: Hi!
[Pip and Posy giggle, envelope rustles, the music stops, birds chirp]
Description: Pip puts the pink envelope into a basket on the front of Jamila’s bike.
Pip: Boop! An invitation to our picnic later!
Jamila: Oh, thanks. Can Gladys come, too?
[Thump]
Description: Jamila pats her bike handlebar.
Jamila: I'm showing her all my favourite places in the park today. She's very excited. It's my first time riding her without stabilizers.
Zac: Vroom! Vroom!
[Zac imitates tires squealing]
Description: Zac rides his blue bike on the path and stops beside Jamila.
Zac: Wow! You're on a bike, too! We can go on a bike ride together!
Jamila: Oh, Gladys would love that.
Zac: Uh, who's Gladys?
[Bike bell rings, tap]
Description: Jamila rings her bike bell, and Zac pats a handlebar.
Zac: Oh! Come on, Gladys. Let's go!
[Wheels rattle, Zac exclaims softly]
Description: Zac starts pedalling, then stops.
Posy: Wait, don't forget your picnic invite.
[Rustling]
Description: Zac puts the invitation in Jamila’s bike basket.
Zac: Oh, uh, thanks. Vroom!
[Wheels rattle, Jamila grunts]
Description: Zac rides away. And Jamila follows, her bike wobbling.
Jamila: Later, alligator.
Pip: Who's next?
[Posy gasps, Pip gasps]
Description: Posy points at Frankie, who walks past the playground.
Posy: There's Frankie! Come on!
[Posy giggles, rustling, Zac giggles]
Description: Posy runs, and Pip follows her. On a path, Zac rides ahead as Jamila wobbles slowly behind him on her bike. Jemima the butterfly flies to Jamila.
Jamila: Oh, oh. Oh! Hi, Jemima.
[Jamila exclaims]
Description: Jamila stops pedalling and puts her feet on the ground.
Jamila: Do you want to join us?
[Zac giggles, tire scrapes]
Description: Zac rides back to Jamila and stops, and Jemima flutters away.
Zac: Butterfly speed is boring! Let's go fast like an eagle.
Description: Zac spreads his arms, then rides down the path.
Zac: Whoosh!
Jamila: I like eagles. Oh, wait for me!
[Jamila grunts, Posy pants, light music plays]
Description: Posy and Pip run across the playground and stop on the path.
Posy: Oh. Where did Frankie go?
Pip: Um...
[Zac giggles, upbeat music plays, bike bell rings]
Description: Zac and Jamila ride towards Pip and Posy.
Zac: Coming through!
[Pip and Posy giggle, Zac cheers, laughs]
Description: Pip and Posy step back onto the grass, and Zac rides past quickly. Jamila follows him.
Pip: Oh, wow. Jamila! That's quite fast.
Jamila: I know. We're eagles.
[Bike creaks, Jamila exclaims]
Description: Jamila wobbles as she rides around a downhill turn.
Posy: Use your brakes!
Jamila: Oh.
[Tires scrape, Jamila sighs, the music stops]
Description: Jamila stops, and Zac rides back to her.
Jamila: Um, maybe I should be a butterfly.
[Jamila chuckles]
Jamila: That was a bit too whooshy.
[Zac giggles]
Zac: That's nothing! Just wait 'til we go off road!
[Zac laughs, rustling]
Description: Zac rides across the grass, and Pip and Posy run to Jamila.
Posy: Do you think that's a good idea?
Jamila: Um, yes. Gladys will like the grass tickling her wheels.
[Jamila pants, Pip gasps, light music plays]
Description: Jamila rides on the grass as Frankie walks towards the Playing Spot.
Pip: Frankie! How'd she get over there?
[Pip and Posy giggle, upbeat music plays, Zac laughs, Jamila exclaims quietly, bike wheels rattle]
Description: Pip and Posy follow Frankie. Zac and Jamila ride across the grass.
Zac: Listen! The bumps make your voice go jittery.
[Zac and Jamila vocalize, both giggle, bikes rattle]
Description: Zac notices a puddle on the path near where Frankie walks up the Playing Spot ramp.
Zac [shouts]: Puddle!
[Zac pants, water splashes]
Description: Zac rides through the puddle.
Zac: Splash! Woo-hoo! Your go, Jamila.
Jamila: Uh, I don't know.
[Zac giggles]
Description: Pip and Posy arrive and stop by the puddle.
Zac: Go on, Gladys'll love it!
Jamila: Oh, uh, okay then.
[Jamila grunts, bike rattles, water splashes, the music stops]
Description: Jamila rides into the puddle and stops in the middle.
Jamila: Aw. Ooh.
[Zac chuckles, Jamila exclaims]
Description: Jamila walks her bike out of the puddle and shakes her feet.
Zac: You're not supposed to stop.
Posy: Are you sure Jamila's okay?
Zac: Yup! This is the best bike ride ever! Come on, Jamila! The next bit's amazing.
[Bikes rattle]
Description: Zac rides across the playground, and Jamila slowly follows.
Jamila: Um, alright.
Pip: Huh? We lost Frankie again!
Posy: Ah, maybe she went inside.
[Footsteps rustle, upbeat music plays, door creaks, Frankie hums]
Description: Posy and Pip run up the ramp and enter the Playing Spot as Frankie leaves through the patio door. In the playground, Zac rides around a swing set and a roundabout. Jamila stands beside the slide and watches.
Zac: It's the playground obstacle course!
Jamila: Um, that looks a bit tricky.
[Bike rattles]
Description: Zac stops beside Jamila.
Zac: It's easy. Just swish around like a busy bee.
[Zac buzzes]
Jamila: I do like being a bee. Let's get busy, Gladys.
[Jamila exclaims softly, bike rattles]
Description: Jamila rides between the roundabout and the swing set as Pip and Posy step onto the Playing Spot porch.
Pip: Nope. No Frankie here.
[Jamila exclaims]
Description: Jamila wobbles as she rides around the swing set.
Posy [shouts]: Careful, Jamila!
Jamila: I'm trying!
[Jamila exclaims, squeak, Jamila shouts, bike clatter, sighs, footsteps rustle]
Description: Jamila wobbles around the swing set and rides towards Hercules the snail. She stops beside the roundabout and falls off her bike. Posy runs to Jamila, helps her to her feet, and Pip picks up the bike. Zac rides back and stops behind Pip.
Posy: Oh, Jamila, are you alright?
Jamila: I'm fine. What about you, Hercules?
[The music stops]
Description: Jamila gently picks up Hercules and puts him in her bike basket.
Jamila: Here, I'll find you a safer home.
[Rustling]
Description: Jamila walks away, pushing her bike.
Zac: But what about our bike ride?
Jamila: Gladys doesn't feel like it anymore.
Zac: I-- I thought we were having fun.
[Bird chirps]
Pip: You were, we saw.
Description: Posy nods.
Pip: But Jamila can't do all the things you can do.
Posy: She only took her stabilizers off today.
Zac: She did?! Oh, I didn't know.
Pip: Maybe you could have checked if she wanted to do those tricky bits.
[Zac sighs, soft music plays]
Zac: Instead of showing off.
[Bike squeaks, clatters]
Description: Near a bush, Jamila puts down the side stand and takes Hercules out of her bike basket. Zac rides over and drops his bike on the grass.
Zac: Um, Jamila? I'm sorry I took you on a zoomy Zac ride instead of a, uh, Jamilary Jamila one.
[Upbeat music plays]
Jamila: It's okay. I'm just not as whizzy as you. I can only go slow, like Hercules.
[Both giggle, leaves rustle, Pip and Posy pant, the music stops]
Description: Jamila puts Hercules on a leaf on the bush as Pip and Posy run over.
Posy: Going slow on a bike is still faster than walking. Delivering these invitations is taking us forever.
[Zac hmms, gasps]
Description: Zac glances at the invitations in Jamila’s bike basket.
Zac: I know! Me and Jamila can deliver the invitations on our bikes!
Jamila: Uh—
Zac: Slow! Not fast.
Jamila: Oh.
[Jamila chuckles]
Jamila: Okay.
Pip: Yeah, you can be...
[Pip gasps]
Pip: The Snail Mail.
[Jamila and Zac giggle]
Zac: Snail Mail.
[Jamila and Zac giggle, bike squeaks]
Description: Jamila and Zac ride to a brown dog wearing a yellow dress walking on the path beside the playground.
Zac: Snail Mail delivery!
[Jamila giggles, invitation rustles]
Description: Jamila gives the brown dog an invitation. Posy notices Mo walking away from the park.
Posy: Oh, no! Mo's leaving the park!
[Zac chuckles, bike rattles]
Zac: Don't worry, I'll stop him!
[Jamila giggles, Zac pants, bike bell rings, Jamila giggles]
Description: Zac follows Mo and slows down. Jamila passes him and rides to Mo.
Mo: Huh? Oh!
[Mo giggles, bike creaks]
Description: Jamila stops by Mo.
Jamila: Snail Mail delivery!
[Zac pants, rustling]
Description: Jamila gives Mo an invitation as Zac arrives.
Zac: But what-- Wha?!
Jamila: Hm. I think I'm getting used to riding without stabilizers now.
[Jamila and Zac giggle, bikes squeak]
[The music stops]
Description: Jamila and Zac ride back to Pip and Posy.
Jamila: Only one more invitation to go.
Posy: Aw, but it's Frankie's, and we can't find her anywhere.
Frankie: Oh, hi!
[Pip and Posy gasp]
Description: Frankie arrives beside Posy.
Frankie: What you doing?
[Frankie giggles]
Description: Pip and Posy stare at Frankie, open-mouthed.
Frankie: What?
[Pip, Posy, Jamila, and Zac laugh]
Description: Pip takes an invitation out of the bike basket and holds it up.
Pip and Posy: Picnic time!
[Everyone giggles]
