The Game Catchers each fly a spaceship.

The Game Catchers run into their headquarters and startle Mr. Moustache. Mr. Moustache wears a blue suit with a red bowtie. His long blue moustache is darker at the pointed ends. Mr. Moustache has four arms and wears large round eyeglasses. He sits on a stool in front of a computer built into a large claw machine. The top of the machine has a claw hanging over small light blue game spheres. Text reads, “Directors: Andrea Bozzetto, Branko Rakic.”

The Game Catchers shout, GOOD MORNING!

Mr. Moustache says, OH!
GOOD MORNING!

[He chuckles]

A voice reads, ‘A PESKY FLY!’

The Game Catchers colourful headquarters has a large telescope and colourful tubes at the top. Inside, Mr. Moustache types on his computer keyboard. Pigi, Kate, Boxy, Nina and Dino arrive behind him.

[Playful music plays, typing, beeping]

Kate says, MR. MOUSTACHE.
HAVE YOU FOUND A GAME PLANET?

Mr. Moustache says, NOT YET, KATE.
BUT IF MY MOUSTACHE ISN'T DECEIVING
ME, THIS PLANET LOOKS LIKE A GREAT
GAME PLANET.

On the computer screen, a rope swing with a wooden seat hangs from a tree branch.

[Beeping]

Kate says, WOW! A SWING.

[Cooing, Kate chuckles, upbeat music plays]

Kate hops down from Pigi’s shoulders.

Kate says, SORRY, PIGI.
I KNOW YOU'RE NOT A TREE.

[Annoyed cooing]

Mr. Moustache asks, WELL, READY TO GO?

Nina, Boxy, Kate and Dino cheer, YEAH!

[Pigi coos]

Soon, the Game Catchers stand in a tube.

Nina, Boxy, Dino and Kate say,
THERE'S A NEW GAME
TO CATCH, GO!

They fly up the tube and emerge from the headquarters in their individual spaceships.

[Rhythmic music plays]

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino sing, LET'S TAKE
OFF EXPLORING,
THROUGH SPACE OUR SHIP
IS SOARING.
AS WE SEARCH FOR GAMES
AND NEW FRIENDS.

The Game Catchers stop their spaceships at a red traffic light. They wait for a family of three ducks, each in their own water bowl spaceship, to fly past. A fourth duck follows behind. The light turns green.

[Tires screech, quacking, water sloshes, whirring]

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino sing, WE DO LOVE EXPLORING,
WE NEVER FIND IT BORING.

TOURING GALAXIES AND PLANETS,
OUR UNIVERSE'S FULL OF GAMES
AND FUN.

[Pigi coos]

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino sing, FOR EVERYONE.

[Pigi coos]

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino shout, WE'RE THE GAME CATCHERS!

The Game Catchers fly to the surface of a light grey planet with trees growing on the surface. They stand beside their spaceships on the surface.


[Happy music plays]

Nina, Kate, Boxy and Dino say, OH!

[Pigi coos]

Nina says, WHAT A CUTE PLACE.

Kate asks, WHO WANTS TO CLIMB
ALL THE TREES WITH ME?

Dino, Boxy and Nina say, ME!

[Pigi coos enthusiastically, laughter]

Kate climbs a tree. Pigi flies up and lands on a round growth of leaves.

[Cheering, cooing, upbeat music plays, rustling]

[Bushes rustle]

The Game Catchers say, OH?

Nina asks, WHAT'S THAT?

Three children walk out from behind the bush. They look like pots, each with a cactus growing out of the top. The first child has a tall straight cactus growing from their pot. They carry a yellow shovel. The second child has a cactus with two small branches at the top. The last child has a pink flower growing on top of their cactus.

The tall child says, HI. WHO ARE YOU?

Nina, Kate, Boxy and Dino say, HI!

[Gentle music plays]

Nina says, WE'RE THE GAME CATCHERS.

Boxy says, AND WE GO FROM PLANET
TO PLANET...

Kate says, TO LEARN...

[Pigi coos]

Kate, Nina and Boxy say, DINO?

[Bush rustles, Dino imitates fanfare]

Dino says, NEW GAMES!

The alien children say, WHOA!

[Birds chirp]

Kate says, THAT'S A NICE SHOVEL.

The tall child says, THANK YOU,
I ALWAYS CARRY IT WITH ME.

THAT WAY, WE CAN USE IT TO PLAY
OUR FAVOURITE GAME.

[Nina gasps]

Nina says, A GAME? HOW COOL!
AND WHAT'S IT CALLED?

The child with the flower says, SEEK AND FIND!
YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH US?

The Game Catchers cheer, YAY!

[Cooing]

[Upbeat music plays]

The child with the flower says,
THE RULES ARE EASY.

WHOEVER IS "IT" HAS TO HIDE
THE SHOVEL WHILE THE OTHERS
COUNT WITH THEIR EYES CLOSED.

The tall child runs with the shovel.

The other children count, ONE, TWO,
THREE, FOUR, FIVE...

[Cooing]

The tall child hides the shovel behind a rock.

[Rustling, upbeat music plays]

The child with the flower says, WHEN "IT"
HAS HIDDEN THE SHOVEL,
HE CALLS TO THE OTHERS, SAYING...

The tall child shouts, YOU CAN START LOOKING!

The child with the flower says, THE FIRST
PERSON TO FIND THE SHOVEL
WILL BE THE NEXT ONE TO HIDE IT.

Boxy and Nina say, HMM...

Kate says, HMM! OH! HMM...
IT'S NOT HERE.

Dino trips over a rock. He tumbles and picks up the shovel.

[Rustling, boing, thud, exciting music plays]

Dino says, HO HO!
FOUND IT.

The tall child says, WELL DONE! NOW,
IT'S YOUR TURN TO HIDE IT.

[Chiming]

Dino walks carefully and carries the shovel.

Everyone else counts, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR...

[Pigi coos]

Dino hides the shovel in a bush.

[Rustling]

Dino whispers, THEY'LL NEVER FIND IT HERE.

[He laughs]

Dino says, YOU CAN START LOOKING!

Eyes and wings poke out of the bush, which was the body of a fly. It flies away with the shovel.

[Gasps, buzzing]

Dino says, HEY!

The tall child says, OH, NO! THE BRANCH FLY
RAN OFF WITH THE SHOVEL.

Kate asks, HOW DO WE GET HIM BACK NOW?

The child with the flower says, HMM...
MAYBE WE COULD TRY
WITH SOME YUMMY MUSH.

Nina asks, YUMMY MUSH? WHAT'S THAT?

The child with the two-armed cactus says,
IT'S A MIX OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF FRUIT.
BRANCH FLIES ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

[Gentle music plays]

The child with the flower says,
THAT'S TRUE. MAYBE IF IT
SMELLED SOME YUMMY MUSH,
IT WILL COME DOWN THE TREE.

The child with the two-armed cactus says,
AND WE CAN GET THE SHOVEL BACK.

Kate says, WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR,
THEN? LET'S GO PICK THE FRUIT
AND MAKE SOME YUMMY MUSH!

[Slide whistles, energetic music plays]

The children pick from a bush and drop it into pails.

[Popping]

The tall child says, THAT SHOULD DO IT.
NOW, LET'S CRUSH THEM TO PREPARE
THE MUSH.

The children sit and crush the fruit in the pails with sticks.

The children chant, MUSH! CRUSH!
CRUSH, CRUSH, CRUSH!

[Squelching]

Boxy turns a crank on a hand mixer.

Boxy says, MIX, MIX!

Everyone else, except Pigi, chants, CRUSH, CRUSH, CRUSH!

The children dump the crushed fruit into a larger pail.

[Upbeat music plays, splashing, snoring]

The branch fly wakes up on a tree branch.

[Sniffing]

A voice coaxes, COME ON,
LITTLE BRANCH FLY.
COME ONE, COME ON.

The branch fly lands beside the pail. It scratches its head and shakes it. The yellow shovel falls to the ground and the branch fly eats the fruit.

[Sniffing, fluttering, buzzing, whooshing, splashing, thud]

Dino picks up the shovel.

Dino says, IT WORKED!

[He laughs]

Dino says, HERE!

[Birds chirp]

The tall child says, OH, THANKS.
BUT IT'S STILL YOUR TURN
TO HIDE IT.

DO YOU STILL WANT TO PLAY?

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino cheer, YEAH!

[Pigi coos, energetic music plays]

Dino hides the shovel under a rock.

[Rustling]

The other children, except Pigi, count,
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR...

Dino shouts, YOU CAN... OH, OH!

Dino knocks on a rock.

[Knocking, sighs]

Dino says, GOOD THING IT REALLY
IS A ROCK AND NOT SOME KIND
OF ANIMAL. YOU CAN LOOK, NOW!

The children look for the shovel.

[Rustling]

The child with the flower says, IT'S NOT HERE.

[Pigi coos]

Boxy peers through a magnifying glass.

Boxy says, HMM...

He bumps into a rock and falls on his bottom.

[Thunk, slide whistle]

Boxy says, OH!

The magnifying glass falls in his open boxy top.

[Thud, he laughs]

Boxy says, NOTHING HERE.

[He coughs]

Boxy says, HMM!

Kate says, NOTHING HERE.

Nina pops out from behind rocks close to Kate.

[Energetic music continues, boing]

Nina shouts, FOUND IT!

[Nina and Kate laugh]

Soon the children say, BYE!

[Cooing]

They say, WHOA!

The branch fly lands between the Game Catchers and the potted catcus children.

[Fluttering, buzzing, burp, children laugh]

The Game Catchers fly back to their headquarters.

[Upbeat music plays, whooshing, chime]

Mr. Moustache types on his computer. Dino and Kate stand behind him. Pigi, Boxy and Nina sit on the floor close to the claw machine.

[Game Catchers laugh, typing, beeping]

Kate says, AND IT WAS FULL OF TREES
AND FLOWERS.

Dino says, AND THERE WAS THIS
ANNOYING FLY.

[Pigi coos, upbeat music plays]

Boxy says, AND WE PLAYED A
WONDERFUL GAME IN WHICH
YOU NEED TO HIDE SOMETHING
AND THEN NEED TO FIND IT!

Nina says, AND IT'S CALLED
"SEEK AND FIND"!

[Mr. Moustache chuckles, upbeat music continues]

Mr. Moustache says, VERY INTERESTING.
OH, AND HERE COMES THE GAME SPHERE!

The claw picks up an empty game sphere and it fills with yellow light. Inside the sphere, a flashback of the children playing the game plays. The game sphere rolls out of the machine and stops by Nina.

[Whirring, triumphant music plays, chiming, clunk]

[Nina screams excitedly, everyone laughs]

In the game archive, Dino and Boxy stand by shelves full of game spheres.

[Upbeat music plays]

Dino chants, MAYBE ME, MAYBE YOU,
MAYBE ME, IT'S YOU! YOU WIN!

Boxy says, HOORAY, I GET TO PUT
AWAY THE GAME SPHERE!

[Mr. Moustache laughs, clunk, chiming]

Mr. Moustache says, CONGRATULATIONS,
GAME CATCHERS!

ANOTHER SPLENDID GAME FOR
OUR COLLECTION.

[Cheering, cooing]
