Boxy reads, ‘AN EYE FOR AN EYE!’

The Game Catchers colourful headquarters has a large telescope and colourful tubes at the top. On a chalkboard, a drawing of a white square smiles at a white circle.

[Playful music plays]

Boxy, as a circle, says, HI THERE, SQUARE!

Dino, as a square, says, HELLO, CIRCLE!

A triangle appears on the chalkboard.

Kate, as a triangle, says, HEY, I'M HERE TOO!

Raindrops appear above the square, circle and triangle.

Boxy, Dino and Kate say, OH NO, IT'S RAINING!

The square and circle hide under the triangle.

Kate, as the triangle, says, I'LL SHELTER YOU!

[They laugh]

They say, IT STOPPED RAINING!
LET'S PLAY!

More shapes appear on the chalkboard.

Nina says, WE CAN PLAY TOO!

Boxy, Kate and Dino say, OF COURSE!
THE MORE THE MERRIER.

[Laughing, Pigi coos]

Mr. Moustache says, GAME CATCHERS!
I FOUND A PERFECT PLANET!
COME QUICKLY!

The Game Catchers cheer, YEAH!

The computer screen shows a sand-covered planet.

[Pigi coos, typing, beeping, upbeat music plays]

Mr. Moustache says, A BUCKET AND A SHOVEL!
THIS IS DEFINITELY
A GAME TRACE!

Dino, Kate, Nina and Boxy exclaim, WOW! COOL!

[Pigi coos]

Mr. Moustache asks, READY TO GO?

Nina, Boxy, Kate and Dino cheer, YEAH!

[Pigi coos]

Soon, the Game Catchers stand in a tube.

Nina, Boxy, Dino and Kate say, THERE'S A NEW GAME
TO CATCH, GO!

They fly up the tube and emerge from the headquarters in their individual spaceships.

[Rhythmic music plays]

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino sing, LET'S TAKE
OFF EXPLORING,
THROUGH SPACE OUR SHIP
IS SOARING.
AS WE SEARCH FOR GAMES
AND NEW FRIENDS.

The Game Catchers stop their spaceships at a red traffic light. They wait for a woman in a spaceship pushing a baby buggy spaceship to cross at the light. The light turns green.

[Tires screech, whirring]

[Rhythmic music plays]

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino sing, WE DO LOVE EXPLORING,
WE NEVER FIND IT BORING.

TOURING GALAXIES AND PLANETS,
OUR UNIVERSE'S FULL OF GAMES
AND FUN.

[Pigi coos]

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino sing, FOR EVERYONE.

[Pigi coos]

Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino shout, WE'RE THE GAME CATCHERS!

They land on the sandy surface of the planet.

[Gentle music plays, engines putter]

The Game Catchers walk on sand past trees with blue and dark pink leaves.

They exclaim, OOH!

Kate says, THERE'S SO MUCH SAND!

Dino says, OH! "SO MUCH SAND"
IS MY FAVOURITE THING!

Dino digs a hole and sand falls on the other Game Catchers.

[He laughs, rustling, whooshing]

Kate says, HEY!

[Pigi coos, Boxy coughs]

Four alien children with multiple eyes stand in row by the Game Catchers. The closest is green and carries a blue cane and a red cane in their left hand. The next alien is orange and carries a red ball in their left hand. A dark pink alien carries a blue ball with both hands. The last alien is light blue.

The green alien says, HI! WELCOME TO OUR PLANET,
WHO ARE YOU?

Nina says, HI! WE'RE THE GAME CATCHERS.

[Gentle music plays]

Boxy says, AND WE GO FROM
PLANET TO PLANET...

Kate says, TO LEARN...

[Pigi coos]

Kate, Pigi, Boxy and Nina look at the hole in the sand.

Nina, Boxy and Kate say, DINO.

Dino pops out of the sand between the Game Catchers and the alien children.

Dino says, NEW GAMES!

[Everyone laughs]

One of the orange alien’s eyes falls off and lands on the sand.

[Slide whistle, Game Catchers gasp, Pigi coos]

The orange alien picks up their eye and pops it back into their face.

[Rustling, pop]

Kate asks, YOU CAN TAKE YOUR EYES OFF?

The green alien replies, OH YES, IT'S VERY HANDY.
THAT WAY, WE CAN LOOK
WHEREVER WE WANT.

[Slide whistle]
Kate, Boxy, Dino and Nina say, AMAZING!

[Pigi coos]

Boxy asks, AND WHAT'S
YOUR FAVOURITE GAME?

[Birds chirp]

The orange alien replies, OUR FAVOURITE GAME
IS CALLED STAY ON TRACK!

[Gentle music plays]

Boxy asks, DO YOU WANT TO PLAY IT
WITH US?

The dark pink alien says, YES!
THE MORE THE MERRIER!

[Energetic music plays]

The blue alien says, IT'S REALLY EASY!
FIRST OF ALL, YOU NEED TO MAKE
TWO TRACKS IN THE SAND
AND SPLIT INTO TWO TEAMS.

The blue and orange aliens make tracks in the sand. Each track loops, goes through a tunnel, over a leaf and rocks and finishes with a small sand hill. Kate, Pigi, Boxy and the blue alien are on the first team. Nina, Dino, and the green, pink and orange aliens are on the second team.

[Rustling]

The blue alien narrates, THEN, BY TURNS,
YOU HIT THE BALL WITH THE STICK.

The blue alien hits the red ball with the red cane and the ball stops before the loop.

[Bang, sighs]

The blue ball rolls around the loop and it stops before the tunnel.

[Rattling]

The blue alien gives the red cane to Pigi. The orange alien gives the blue cane to Nina.

The blue and orange aliens say, NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!

[Pigi coos, bang, rattling, upbeat music plays]

Nina hits the blue ball and it lands in the sand next to the track.

[Rustling, bang]

The blue alien narrates, IF THE BALL
GOES OUTSIDE THE TRACK,
YOU NEED TO RECOVER IT.

[Slide whistle, Nina chuckles]

The blue alien narrates, THE FIRST TEAM
TO GET ITS BALL TO THE END
OF THE TRACK WINS!

The green alien hits the blue ball and it rolls over the obstacles on the track. It stops on the top of the small hill.

[Playful music plays, rustling, bangs, slide whistle, boings, rustling]

[Everyone gasps]

The blue ball rolls down the hill and to the end of the track.

The second team cheers, HOORAY!

[Cheering, Pigi coos]

Dino asks, SHALL WE PLAY AGAIN?

Everyone agrees, YES!

[Pigi coos]

[Energetic music plays]

Dino and Kate narrow their eyes at each other. They hit the balls on their tracks.

[Bangs]

Dino laughs HA-HA!

Both balls bounce and fly behind the players.

[Whooshing]

Everyone exclaims, WHOA!

Boxy catches the blue ball.

Boxy says, GOTCHA!

The red ball falls into Boxy’s open box top.

[Slide whistle, thump]

He retrieves the red ball.

Boxy says, AND, GOTCHA!

[Everyone laughs]

One of the green alien’s eyes falls out.

[Slide whistle, upbeat music plays]

The green alien says, HMM?

The green alien kicks the eye.

[Bonk]

The green alien says, OH!

[Boings]

The green alien says, NO!

The eye rolls down a hill.

[Rustling]

The others say, OH NO!

[Pigi coos]

The eye rolls down the hill.

[Panting, Pigi coos]

The green alien says, MY FAVOURITE EYE!

Kate says, I'LL GET IT!

Kate stretches her arm. The eye falls into a hole.

[Slide whistle, bonk]

Everyone gathers around the hole.

[Tense music plays]

The orange alien says, OH NO!
THE EYE'S BEEN TAKEN
BY A CARPEDILLO!

[Pigi coos]

A blue armadillo-shaped animal with a pink nose looks out of the hole. It clutches the eyeball and smiles.

[Gentle music plays]

The pink alien says, YES.
THE CARPEDILLO!
IT'S A LITTLE ANIMAL
THAT COLLECTS TREASURES.

[Carpedillo chuckles]

The green alien says, YOU'VE GOT
TO GIVE ME MY EYE BACK!

The carpedillo bounces the ball in their hand.

[Thumping, gentle music plays]

The carpedillo says, FINDERS KEEPERS,
LOSERS WEEPERS!

Nina says, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE,
COULD YOU GIVE US
BACK THE EYE?

The carpedillo says, PLEASE AND PRAISE
AND ALL YOUR KIND WAYS
ARE VERY NICE TO HEAR,
BUT I HAVE TAKEN THIS EYE,
AND NOW IT'S STAYING RIGHT HERE!

Dino says, OH, I COULD ROAR AT YOU,
YOU KNOW?

The carpedillo says, NO POINT IN ROARING
TILL YOU'RE HOARSE,
BECAUSE I'M STILL
KEEPING THE EYE,
OF COURSE!

Dino says, OH, SHUCKS!

[Pigi coos angrily, flapping wings]

The carpedillo says, YOU CAN "PROO-PROO"
NIGHT AND DAY,
I WON'T GIVE IT BACK, NO WAY!

Boxy says, MAYBE WE COULD MAKE
A DEAL WITH HIM.
TRADE IT FOR SOMETHING ELSE.

The carpedillo says, I'LL TRADE
THE EYE FOR A YUMMY TREAT,
SOMETHING RED AND ROUND,
SOFT AND SWEET! HMM!

[Bird chirps, upbeat music plays]

The orange alien says, HMM... AH!
I KNOW WHAT HE WANTS!
HE WANTS A JUICEAPPLE!
BUT OUR PLANET
IS ALL COVERED IN SAND,
AND NOTHING WILL GROW
UNTIL THE RAINS COME!

Boxy says, I'VE GOT ONE!
I BROUGHT IT FOR A SNACK!

[Rustling]

Dino grabs the juiceapple.

Dino says, OOH! SNACK!
OOH, HMM! YUM!

[Chewing, upbeat music plays]

Boxy, Kate and Nina say, DINO!

Dino says, SORRY!

Boxy says, I THINK I HAVE ANOTHER ONE.
AH, AH! HERE IT IS!

[Rustling]

The carpedillo says, THIS IS ALL FOR ME,
PLEASE LET ME BE!

The carpedillo lowers into their hole and throws the eye to Boxy.

[Slide whistle]

Boxy says, FINE, UH, WE WERE GOING
OFF TO PLAY ANYWAY!
SHOULD WE PLAY?

Everyone says, YEAH!

[Pigi coos, laughter]

The children play ‘Stay on Track.’

[Upbeat music plays, banging, rustling, exclamations, slide whistles]

Dino hits the ball off the track. It bounces back to the beginning of the track.

[Grunt, bang, slide whistles, whooshing, boings, groan, upbeat music continues]

Pigi swings for the ball and misses. His cane flies out of his wing.

[Cooing, whoosh]

The blue alien’s eye falls out and they hit that instead of the ball.

[Slide whistles, upbeat music plays]

The blue alien says, OH!

The eye rolls to the end of the track and blinks.

[Plop, everyone laughs]

Later, the Game Catchers sit in their spaceships.

The green alien says, IT'S BEEN GREAT
PLAYING WITH YOU!

Kate says, WE'LL BE BACK SOON!

Everyone says, BYE! BYE!

[Pigi coos]

The Game Catchers fly back to their headquarters.

[Upbeat music plays]

In the game archive, Mr. Moustache puts a yellow game sphere on a shelf.

[Clank, cheerful music plays]

Mr. Moustache says, HMM, THAT
CARPEDILLO WAS A REAL RASCAL,
AND VERY FOND OF JUICEAPPLES.
JUST LIKE DINO!

[Mr. Moustache laughs, Dino’s tummy rumbles]

Dino says, SPEAKING ABOUT JUICEAPPLES,
ISN'T IT SNACK TIME?

[Everyone laughs]

[Playful music plays]
