The Game Catchers run into their headquarters and startle Mr. Moustache. Mr. Moustache wears a blue suit with a red bowtie. His long blue moustache is darker at the pointed ends. Mr. Moustache has four arms and wears large round eyeglasses. He sits on a stool in front of a computer built into a large claw machine. The top of the machine has a claw hanging over small light blue game spheres. Text reads, “Directors: Andrea Bozzetto, Branko Rakic.”
The Game Catchers shout, GOOD MORNING!
Mr. Moustache says, OH!

[He chuckles]

Mr. Moustache says, LOOK AT THIS PLANET!
IT'S ALL FULL OF HOLES
AND IT'S GOT THREE SUNS!
[Children laugh, chiming]
Boxy and Kate say, OH!
[Pigi coos, children laugh]
Mr. Moustache says, YES, PIGI! YOU CAN
ALSO HEAR THE LAUGHTER OF CHILDREN!
THESE ARE DEFINITE GAME... HMM?
The planet disappears from the computer screen and a fiery comet takes its place on the screen.
[Static crackles, ominous music plays]
Mr. Moustache says, WHAT?
HMM. ALL RIGHT. WELL, I NEVER!
[Typing, beeping, whirring]
The image on the computer screen changes to an alien walking an insect in space.
[Buzzing]
Boxy asks, WHAT'S GOING ON?
IS THE GAME MACHINE BROKEN?
Mr. Moustache says, HMM...
HMM. MAYBE I KNOW
WHAT'S GOING ON!
[Whirring, beeping, typing]
Nina and Dino stand beneath a large telescope. They throw a ball back and forth. Each time the ball is in the air, it hits the bottom of the telescope.
[Laughing, boings]
Nina says, CAUGHT IT!
Mr. Moustache says, AH, HERE'S THE ANSWER
TO OUR MYSTERY!
Dino asks, WHAT MYSTERY? HAVE YOU
FOUND A GAME PLANET?
[Mr. Moustache laughs]
Mr. Moustache says, YES! THAT TOO!
READY TO GO?
Nina, Boxy, Kate and Dino cheer, YEAH!
[Pigi coos]
Soon, the Game Catchers stand in a tube.
Nina, Boxy, Dino and Kate say, THERE'S A NEW GAME
TO CATCH, GO!
They fly up the tube and emerge from the headquarters in their individual spaceships.
[Rhythmic music plays]
Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino sing, LET'S TAKE
OFF EXPLORING,
THROUGH SPACE OUR SHIP
IS SOARING.
AS WE SEARCH FOR GAMES
AND NEW FRIENDS.
The Game Catchers stop their spaceships at a red traffic light. They wait for a green alien wearing a scuba mask and snorkel to float past in a tube. The traffic light turns green.
[Tires screech, water bubbles, whirring]
[Rhythmic music plays]
Boxy, Nina, Kate and Dino sing, WE DO LOVE EXPLORING,
WE NEVER FIND IT BORING.
TOURING GALAXIES AND PLANETS,
OUR UNIVERSE'S FULL OF GAMES
AND FUN.

The Game Catchers fly to the holey planet and land on the surface.
[Whirring, gentle music plays]
They stand on the surface of the planet.
Nina says, THERE SEEMS TO BE
NOBODY HERE.
Kate shouts, ANYONE HERE?
Voices echo, HERE! HERE!
[Birds chirp]
Boxy shouts, HELLO!
Voices echo, HELLO! HELLO!

Dino asks, CAN YOU HEAR ME?
Voices echo, HEAR ME!
HEAR ME!
[Children laugh]
Boxy asks, DID YOU HEAR THAT?
WHAT A STRANGE ECHO!

Dino runs to a hole.
Dino says, HEY, IT'S COMING FROM HERE!
[Children laugh]
Kate, Boxy and Nina say, OH!
[Pigi coos]
Kate says, GOOD IDEA! LET'S GO SEE!
[Cheerful music plays]
Nina jumps into the hole. Boxy, Pigi and Kate follow her.
[Exclamations, whooshing, cooing, laughter]
Dino jumps into the hole and gets stuck.
Dino says, UH, OH!
[Deep inhale, pop]
He falls into the hole. The Game Catchers slide down a tunnel.
[Laughing, cheering, cooing]
The Game Catchers slide out of end of the tunnel.
[Slide whistles, laughing, upbeat music plays]
Three mole-like alien children stand by a pair of armchairs, a table and lamp. The first alien child is black with a dark grey nose, the second is grey with a light grey nose and the third alien child is dark grey with a dark grey nose.
The children say, GOOD JOB!
YOU FOUND US!
The dark grey alien says, WE'RE THE MOLIKINS
AND WE LOVE TO DIG HOLES.
WHO ARE YOU?
[Upbeat music plays]
Nina says, WE'RE THE GAME CATCHERS.
Kate says, AND WE GO FROM PLANET
TO PLANET TO LEARN...
[Pigi coos]
Boxy and Dino say, NEW GAMES!
The grey molikin says, GREAT!

The children return to the living room.
The black molikin says, WE'VE LOOKED
EVERYWHERE AND THERE'S NO PLACE
TO PLAY. TOO BAD!
[Sad music plays, Pigi coos]
Dino says, THAT'S TRUE! UP ON TOP,
THERE'S LOTS OF PLACES TO PLAY!
WHY DON'T WE GO OUTSIDE?
The grey molikin says, WE DON'T
LIKE GOING OUT BECAUSE THE
LIGHT OF THE THREE SUNS IS
TOO BRIGHT FOR OUR EYES!
Boxy says, AH, I KNOW WHAT WE CAN DO!
Boxy reaches into his open box top.
[Rustling, Kate giggles]
Soon, the three molikins stand on the surface of the planet. Each wears a pair of sunglasses.
The black molikin says, WOW!
WITH THESE ON, THE SUN DOESN'T
BOTHER US!
[Birds chirp]
Nina says, AND YOU LOOK SUPER CUTE!
Dino says, NOW WE CAN PLAY FOUR
SQUARES! HOW DO YOU PLAY?
[Energetic music plays]
The dark grey molikin says, IT'S REALLY EASY!
ONE PLAYER STANDS IN THE MIDDLE,
WHILE THE OTHER FOUR STAND
ON EACH OF THE FOUR CORNERS,
CALLED SQUARES.
Nina stands in the middle. Kate, Pigi, Dino and the dark grey molikin stand in the squares.
The dark grey molikin narrates,
NOW WHAT THE PLAYERS HAVE
TO DO IS CHANGE PLACES
BY TAKING OVER THE FREE
CORNER BEFORE THE PLAYER
IN THE MIDDLE STEALS IT.
Pigi slides into a square and stands proudly with his hands on his hips.
[Tires screech, energetic music continues]
The dark grey molikin continues,
WHOEVER IS LEFT WITHOUT A CORNER
WILL BE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE.
Nina twirls as the other players run past her. The dark grey molikin runs to a corner. Dino turns and runs in a different direction.
[Whooshing, tires screech]
Nina says, OH!
THIS CORNER IS MINE!
[Slide whistle, thump, laughing]
Dino walks to the centre.
Dino grumbles, SHUCKS!
[Energetic music continues, Dino grunts]
Dino trips over a rock. He bounces into a square and out the other side. Nina strolls into the square.
[Boings, grunts]
[Laughter]
Dino runs and stops. Kate taps his shoulder from inside a square. She waves at him.
[Grunt, tires screech, tapping, Kate giggles, laughter]
Boxy says, NOW IT'S OUR TURN!
Dino watches Boxy, Kate, Pigi and the dark grey molikin run from square to square.
Dino says, OH, OH, OH!
[He sighs]
Dino says, HMM!
Dino beats Pigi to a square.
[Whoosh, Pigi coos]
Dino cheers, YAY!
[Laughing]
The children play ‘Four Squares.’
[Exclamations, laughter]
Soon, the Game Catchers and molikins stand together.
[Birds chirp]
Kate says, IT'S BEEN SO MUCH FUN
PLAYING WITH YOU!
THANKS!
The grey molikin says, THANK YOU!
AND FOR THE SUNGLASSES TOO!
The molikins say, COME BACK
AND VISIT US SOMETIME!
Boxy, Dino, Nina and Kate say, OF COURSE! BYE!
[Pigi coos]
The Game Catchers fly back to their headquarters.
[Upbeat music plays, whooshing]
In the headquarters, the Game Catchers watch Mr. Moustache work on his computer.
[Pigi coos, typing, Mr. Moustache laughs]
Mr. Moustache says, OH, REALLY?
BUT YOU DID MANAGE TO PLAY
FOUR SQUARES, DIDN'T YOU?
Dino says, YEAH, AND WE HAD SUCH
A GREAT TIME WITH OUR NEW FRIENDS.
Nina says, WITH BOXY'S SUNGLASSES,
THEY LOOKED SUPER CUTE!
Mr. Moustache says, GAMESPHERE ON ITS WAY!
The claw picks up an empty game sphere and it fills with yellow light. Inside the sphere, flashbacks show the children playing ‘Four Squares.’
[Whirring, triumphant music plays]
The game sphere rolls out of the machine.
[Clicking, Nina squeals]
Later, Kate puts the game sphere on a shelf in the game archive.
[Clank]
Mr. Moustache says, A NEW GAME
FOR OUR COLLECTION!

Dino watches Boxy, Kate, Pigi and the dark grey molikin run from square to square.
Dino says, OH, OH, OH!
[He sighs]
Dino says, HMM!
Dino beats Pigi to a square.
[Whoosh, Pigi coos]
Dino cheers, YAY!
[Laughing]
The children play ‘Four Squares.’
[Exclamations, laughter]
Soon, the Game Catchers and molikins stand together.
[Birds chirp]
Kate says, IT'S BEEN SO MUCH FUN
PLAYING WITH YOU!
THANKS!
The grey molikin says, THANK YOU!
AND FOR THE SUNGLASSES TOO!
The molikins say, COME BACK
AND VISIT US SOMETIME!
Boxy, Dino, Nina and Kate say, OF COURSE! BYE!
[Pigi coos]
The Game Catchers fly back to their headquarters.
[Upbeat music plays, whooshing]
In the headquarters, the Game Catchers watch Mr. Moustache work on his computer.
[Pigi coos, typing, Mr. Moustache laughs]
Mr. Moustache says, OH, REALLY?
BUT YOU DID MANAGE TO PLAY
FOUR SQUARES, DIDN'T YOU?
Dino says, YEAH, AND WE HAD SUCH
A GREAT TIME WITH OUR NEW FRIENDS.
Nina says, WITH BOXY'S SUNGLASSES,
THEY LOOKED SUPER CUTE!
Mr. Moustache says, GAMESPHERE ON ITS WAY!
The claw picks up an empty game sphere and it fills with yellow light. Inside the sphere, flashbacks show the children playing ‘Four Squares.’
[Whirring, triumphant music plays]
The game sphere rolls out of the machine.
[Clicking, Nina squeals]
Later, Kate puts the game sphere on a shelf in the game archive.
[Clank]
Mr. Moustache says, A NEW GAME
FOR OUR COLLECTION!
EXCELLENT JOB, GAME CATCHERS!
[Cheering]
[Playful music plays]
