A child says, WHEE!

[Child giggles, upbeat music plays, pop]

T.V.O. Kids and Apartment Eleven Productions and Imagine Create, Original. T.V.O. Kids presents. Produced by Tracey Mack, Tara Hungerford, Eric Hogan. Music by Jessie Farrell.

Mr. Radish drives a red convertible. Harry, a shaggy black and white guinea pig, and Frankie, a light brown guinea pig, sit in a library. Clover and Ginger lie in a play tunnel.

[Cheerful music plays]

A singer sings, HOW DO YOU DO? IT'S NICE TO SEE YOU IN OUR HAPPY PLACE. OH, OH, IN OUR HAPPY PLACE.

Title: “Happy Place.”

[Light music plays]

In front of houses, flowers sway in the breeze. In front of a house, Frankie peers through an open doorway.

The narrator says, IN HAPPY PLACE. THE BUSY RESIDENTS ARE ALWAYS COMING AND GOING. TO KEEP THINGS MOVING SMOOTHLY, THE CITIZENS DO THEIR BEST TO PRACTICE GOOD ETIQUETTE, BE POLITE AND TREAT EACH OTHER WITH KINDNESS.

Outside, Mr. Radish says, I WAS RIDING IN AN ELEVATOR THIS MORNING, AND WHEN I CAME TO MY FLOOR, THE DOORS OPENED AND I TRIED TO GET OUT.

[Dinging, crowd chattering]

A picture shows Mr. Radish standing in an elevator. A second picture shows Mr. Radish surrounded by guinea pigs inside and outside of the elevator.

Mr. Radish continues, BUT THERE WAS A CROWD OF GUINEA PIGS GETTING INTO THE ELEVATOR. THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR ME TO STEP OUT.

Beau says, OH, NO. SO WHAT HAPPENED NEXT, MR. RADISH.

Mr. Radish says, WELL, I GOT QUITE CONFUSED AND I COLLIDED WITH ANOTHER GUINEA PIG. THE ELEVATOR DOORS CLOSED, AND THEN... WELL, I WAS BLOCKED, SO I COULDN'T GET OUT. AND I HAD TO RIDE ALL THE WAY BACK UP TO THE SEVENTH FLOOR AGAIN.

[Trombone wah wahs]

Ginger says, OH, THAT SOUNDS CONFUSING.

Mr. Radish says, WELL, FOLLOWING THE RULES FOR THIS SITUATION WOULD HAVE HELPED.

Bella asks, WHAT ARE THE RULES, MR. RADISH?

Mr. Radish says, WE SHOULD ALWAYS LET THOSE WHO ARE EXITING THE ELEVATOR LEAVE FIRST BEFORE ENTERING THE ELEVATOR. THAT WAY, THEY CAN EXIT SMOOTHLY AND MAKE SPACE FOR OTHERS TO ENTER.

Skip says, AHA! I SEE; THAT MAKES SENSE. SO, THE NEXT TIME I'M GETTING INTO AN ELEVATOR, I'LL WAIT PATIENTLY FOR OTHERS TO EXIT.

[Upbeat music plays]

Mr. Radish says, YES. IN FACT, THIS RULE APPLIES TO ALL DOORS. LIKE IF YOU'RE ENTERING A STORE AND SOMEONE IS LEAVING, YOU LET THEM LEAVE THE STORE BEFORE YOU ENTER.

A picture shows Skip carrying two bags.

Frankie says, AND IF THEY HAVE THEIR HANDS FULL, IT WOULD BE POLITE TO HOLD THE DOOR FOR THEM. AFTER THEY LEAVE THEN YOU WOULD ENTER.

Mr. Radish says, YES, THAT'S RIGHT, FRANKIE. ALWAYS NICE TO OFFER TO HOLD THE DOOR WHEN SOMEONE'S HANDS ARE FULL.

Harry says, AHA! THERE'S LOTS TO LEARN ABOUT THE ETIQUETTE OF DOORWAYS. I CAN THINK OF A RULE AT MY HOUSE. WE ARE NOT TO SLAM A DOOR.

Skip says, WE AREN'T ALLOWED TO SLAM DOORS AT OUR HOUSE EITHER. TOO LOUD.

Harry says, AND DANGEROUS. YOU COULD HURT SOMEONE BY SLAMMING THEIR FINGERS OR TOES IN THE DOOR.

Clover says, AT OUR HOUSE, WE HAVE ANOTHER RULE ABOUT DOORS.

[Doorbell ringing]

A picture shows a sunny hallway with plants in pots by a door.

Clover continues, MY PARENTS ASK THAT WE GREET OUR GUESTS AT THE DOOR.

Ginger says, YES, AND THEN WE WALK OUR GUESTS TO THE DOOR WHEN THEY'RE LEAVING.

Mr. Radish says, AH, YES. VERY GOOD REMINDERS.

[Harry laughing]

Harry says, ALL THIS TALK ABOUT DOOR ETIQUETTE, AND YOU'RE CLIMBING OUT THE WINDOW.

[Frankie laughing]

Frankie crawls out through the window.

Frankie says, WELL, YEAH, YOU'RE BLOCKING THE DOOR.

[Harry laughing]

In their living room, Clover lies to the side of a doorway as Ginger enters the room. Outside, Frankie sniffs a closed door.

The narrator says, AND SO, THANKS TO MR. RADISH, THE GUINEA PIGS WERE REMINDED ABOUT THE ETIQUETTE OF DOORWAYS, THE COMING AND GOING, EXITS AND ENTRANCES, HOLDING DOORS, NOT SLAMMING DOORS. AND HOW TO WELCOME OUR GUESTS ALL TO MAKE HAPPY PLACE THE HAPPIEST IT CAN BE.

[Upbeat music plays]
