Frankie, a light brown guinea pig, sits at a table in the library with Harry, a black and white guinea pig. At school, Skip, a small, dark brown guinea pig, sits beside Clover, a white and grey guinea pig, facing their teacher, Miss Whiskers, a black, white and brown guinea pig. A singer sings, HOW DO YOU DO? IT'S NICE TO SEE. IN OUR HAPPY PLACE.

A narrator says, IT'S ANOTHER JOYFUL DAY IN HAPPY PLACE.
Jellybean crosses a bridge over the stream.
The narrator says, ONE OF THE WAYS HAPPY PLACE EARNED ITS NAME IS BECAUSE THE CITIZENS DO THEIR BEST TO BE CONSIDERATE AND TO TAKE AN INTEREST IN OTHERS.
Frankie and Harry stand outside Frankie’s house.
Frankie says, IT'S A TERRIBLE FEELING TO BE LEFT OUT.
Harry asks, WHAT DOES BEING LEFT OUT MEAN, FRANKIE?
Frankie says, WHEN YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO JOIN IN?
Harry says, OH, THAT'S NOT A GOOD FEELING. IT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU.
Frankie says, YEAH, AND SOMETIMES IT'S BECAUSE YOU LOOK DIFFERENT.
In a large bunny pen, Jellybean lies on the grass. Light and dark pink flowers decorate a bunny hideaway and bales of hay.
The narrator says, OH, LOOK, THERE'S JELLY BEAN SAYING HELLO TO HER NEIGHBORS.
[Jellybean meowing]
Jellybean walks over toward a black and white bunny. The bunny hops away.
The narrator says, OH, NO. IT LOOKS LIKE THE BUNNIES ARE NOT INTERESTED IN VISITING WITH HER.
The black and white bunny says, GO AWAY, JELLYBEAN.
A brown and white bunny says, YOU DON'T BELONG HERE.
[Jellybean meowing]
Jellybean says, BUT I'M YOUR NEIGHBOR. I JUST WANTED TO SAY HELLO AND LET YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE TO SEE ALL YOUR PRETTY FLOWERS IN BLOOM. YOUR DAHLIAS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL.
Sunlight shines on a dahlia, one of the pink flowers. The black and white bunny hops away.
[School bell ringing]
The narrator says, MEANWHILE, IN THE CLASSROOM.
Miss Whiskers sits at her desk facing Frankie, Harry, Skip and Clover.
Miss Whiskers says, I HAVE TO HEAD OUT AND RUN AN ERRAND THIS AFTERNOON. I'VE ASKED MAYOR RUFUS TO COME AND WATCH OVER YOU DURING OUR LUNCH BREAK.
Mayor Rufus says, I HAVEN'T BEEN IN A CLASSROOM SINCE I WAS YOUNG. WHAT FUN!
Miss Whiskers says, PLEASE BE ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR FOR MAYOR RUFUS.
Frankie says, WE'LL BE FINE, MISS WHISKERS.
Harry says, YEAH. DON'T WORRY. WE'LL MAKE YOU PROUD.
[School bell ringing]
The narrator says, IT'S LUNCH BREAK, AND MAYOR RUFUS HAS ARRIVED. SO FAR, SO GOOD.
Mayor Rufus stands by a small block tower. Skip and Ginger sniff around a rug.
Skip says, HEY, GINGER, DO YOU WANT TO EAT LUNCH TOGETHER? JUST YOU AND ME. I BROUGHT LOTS OF YUMMY PEPPERS WE CAN SHARE. RED, GREEN AND YELLOW.
Ginger says, YES, I'D LIKE THAT, SKIP.
Clover stands on the rug behind Ginger with a yellow pepper.
Clover asks, WHAT'S FOR LUNCH, SIS?
Ginger says, SKIP AND I ARE HAVING LUNCH TOGETHER.
Ginger has a red pepper, and Skip has a green pepper.
Clover says, FUN! I'D LIKE TO JOIN YOU.
Ginger pushes Clover away with her nose.
Skip says, NO, SORRY, CLOVER. IT'S JUST GINGER AND ME.
Skip pushes Clover away with his nose.
Clover says, THAT'S NOT VERY NICE AT ALL! I WOULD NEVER LEAVE YOU OUT. GINGER, THAT REALLY HURTS MY FEELINGS.
Clover picks up her pepper with her teeth and walks away. Elsewhere in the classroom, Mayor Rufus walks up beside Clover with Ginger and Skip close by.
Mayor Rufus says, WHAT'S GOING ON? YOU SEEM UPSET, CLOVER.
Ginger says, CLOVER WANTS TO EAT LUNCH WITH SKIP AND ME, BUT WE DON'T WANT HER TO. WE WANT TO EAT WITHOUT HER.
Mayor Rufus walks over to Ginger and says, I'M GOING TO LET YOU IN ON A LITTLE SECRET. THE REASON OUR TOWN IS CALLED HAPPY PLACE IS LARGELY BECAUSE WE ARE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS.
Clover asks, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF I LEFT YOU OUT, GINGER?
Ginger says, I'D BE REALLY UPSET.
Skip says, YEAH, I WOULD BE TOO. GINGER, LET'S INCLUDE CLOVER.
Ginger says, GOOD IDEA.
Clover says, THANK YOU.
Ginger says, I'M SORRY, CLOVER.
Clover says, IT'S OKAY.
Clover, Ginger and Skip nibble on their peppers.
[Gentle music plays]
The narrator says, AND SO THE GUINEA PIGS HAD A HAPPY LUNCH EATING TOGETHER. THEY REALIZED THAT HAVING AN OPEN MIND AND BEING CONSIDERATE OF CLOVER MADE LUNCH MORE FUN FOR EVERYONE.
Outside, the narrator says, OH LOOK!

The black and white bunny says, BUT NOW THAT WE KNOW YOU LIKE TEA PARTIES TOO!
Jellybean says, I LOVE TEA PARTIES.
