GRAN GRAN [voiceover]: It was a dark autumn evening. The leaves were changing colour and falling from the trees. And JoJo and Gran Gran, that's me, were having a sleepover.
GRAN GRAN: I think this is the last puzzle and then it's time to start getting ready for bed.
JOJO: Okay, Gran Gran.

JOJO: Ooh.
[Upbeat music]
DESCRIPTION: In live-action interviews, children sit and chat.
CHILD ONE: Stars... twinkle like this.

CHILD FOUR: When it's nighttime you can use a telescope to look at planets and stars.
DESCRIPTION: Two of the children speak to each other.

GREAT GRAN GRAN: Ooh, I love stargazing.
JOJO: Why are there no stars behind you, Great Gran Gran?
GREAT GRAN GRAN [Giggling]: It's still daytime in St. Lucia, JoJo.
GRAN GRAN: But when it's nighttime Great Gran Gran will be able to see lots of stars.
JOJO: Will they be the same stars that we see?
GREAT GRAN GRAN: Some will be. Wherever we are in the world we share the same sky, but sometimes we can see different stars.
JOJO: Whoa.
GREAT GRAN GRAN [Giggling]: I think I'll go stargazing tonight. And when I do, I'll think of you, JoJo. Asleep under the same sky. Have a beautiful night, you two.
GRAN GRAN: Oh, bye Mama.
JOJO: Bye, Great Gran Gran.

[Gran Gran giggling]
GRAN GRAN: Well, sailors and explorers did use the stars to find their way across the seas. Like the North star.
[JoJo giggling]
JOJO: That's clever. There are so many stars. How do you find the constellations?
GRAN GRAN: Well, it can be quite difficult. But we'll find some together.
JOJO: Yes!
GRAN GRAN: And see what else we can spot too.
DESCRIPTION: JoJo looks up at a cluster of stars.
JOJO [Gasping]: Look, Gran Gran.

[JoJo humming]
GRAN GRAN: Oh, that's brilliant, JoJo.
DESCRIPTION: Gran Gran sends the photo to Great Gran Gran.
GRAN GRAN: There we go.
JOJO: Maybe Great Gran Gran can find Panda in her stars too!
DESCRIPTION: In a live-action interview, a girl, her friend, and her grandmother pile together pillows and blankets outside.
GIRL [narration]: I'm getting ready to stargaze with my nana and my friend Sanjana. We've got lots of blankets to keep us warm and cozy. We can see stars in the sky tonight.

GIRL [narration]: And look, there's another aeroplane with flashing lights flying really fast across the sky.
DESCRIPTION: A line traces shapes between the stars. A triangle and a diamond appear.
GIRL [narration]: Now we're looking for shapes in the stars. We can see a triangle. And a diamond. And these stars are in the shape of a kite.
DESCRIPTION: Three stars surrounded by four more stars are traced and form Orion.
GIRL: Sanjana and Nana, can you see those three stars?
