GRAN GRAN NARRATING: It was a cold winter morning. The trees were bare, and the air was frosty, and JoJo and Gran Gran, that's me, were walking through the park.
DESCRIPTION: In the park, in their winter coats and scarves, Jojo and Gran Gran meet Net and Monty.
NED: Oh, morning, JoJo! Gran Gran.
GRAN GRAN: Hi, Ned!
JOJO: Hello, Ned and Monty!
[Monty panting and barking]
GRAN GRAN: Where are you two off to?
NED: Oh, we're on the way to the salon.
JOJO: Are you getting a haircut, Ned?
[Ned chuckling]
NED: No, not me, JoJo. The haircut is for Monty. We're going to the dog-grooming salon.
[Monty barking]
JOJO: Wow! I didn't know dogs could have haircuts!
NED: Well, not all dogs need them, but Monty's got thick fur that needs a little trim from time to time. Don't you, boy?
[Monty barking]
NED: And, I've got a special treat for Monty, once we're finished at the dog-grooming salon.
DESCRIPTION: Ned pulls out a turquoise bandana decorated with stars.
NED: Ta-dah!
[Ned chuckling]
NED: You're gonna look so stylish in this bandana, aren't you, boy?
[Monty panting and barking]
DESCRIPTION: Monty rolls over onto his back.

GRAN GRAN: Oh!
JOJO: Good luck with your haircut, Monty! I can't wait to see you in your bandana.

NED: Tell you what, you could join us if you'd like.
JOJO: Ooh, yes! Can we, Gran Gran?
GRAN GRAN: Oh, thanks, Ned! We'd love to.

GRAN GRAN: Um, well, it's probably getting it's fur brushed.
NED: Yeah. Taking dogs to the grooming salon is one way of looking after 'em, JoJo.
GRAN GRAN: Yes! In the same way we look after dogs by taking them for walks and giving them food!
NED: And... lots of love. Come here! Come here, boy!
DESCRIPTION: Ned kneels, and Monty rolls over. Ned pets Monty’s belly.
[Monty panting]
NED: Who's a good boy?
[Monty panting]
[Ned laughing]
DESCRIPTION: The groomer walks over to the German Shepard and the brown-haired man.
GROOMER: Next, please!
DESCRIPTION: The German Shepard turns to the brown-haired man and wags its tail.

JOJO: Oh, look! That dog's wearing a bandana, Ned.
NED: Oh yes, JoJo! Just like the one I've got for Monty after his trim.
[Monty barking and panting]
[Gentle, cheerful music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Later, Jojo sits in the chairs by the door with Gran Gran, Ned, and Monty.
[Bell ringing]
DESCRIPTION: A woman with long black hair walks in with a service dog wearing a harness.
JOJO: It looks like that dog is wearing a coat!
GRAN GRAN: It's a harness, JoJo. That must be a working dog.
JOJO: Panda, I didn't know dogs could go to work.

JOJO: Hi! You've got a lovely dog.
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: Thank you! This is Peggy. She's my guide dog. I can't see very well, but Peggy keeps me safe and helps me find my way around. You can say hello.
JOJO: Hello, Peggy. I'm JoJo. What type of dog is Peggy?
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: She's a Labradoodle. And a very helpful one, too.
DESCRIPTION: Peggy sits at the black-haired woman’s feet.
JOJO: How does Peggy help you?
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: Well, she helps me cross the road and stay safe when I'm out and about. She's also a lovely friend, aren't you, Peggy?

BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: Actually, Peggy's here to have her nails cut, so they don't grow too long.
JOJO: Oh! Can we see?

DESCRIPTION: Peggy stands on a grooming table raised to the groomer’s height. Her owner, the black-haired woman, stands at the end of the table with Jojo and Gran Gran. The Groomer trims Peggy’s nails.

DESCRIPTION: In a grooming tub, the Groomer bathes Monty. Ned, Jojo and Gran Gran watch. At the grooming table, the Groomer cleans the German Shepard’s ears with a cotton ball. Later on the table, the Groomer blow-dries Monty’s fur.

DESCRIPTION: The Groomer brushes and trims Monty’s fur. She sprays Monty with a dog spray, and Monty wags his tail. Later, Peggy, the German Shepherd, and Monty sit and wag their tails.

GRAN GRAN: Oh, that place is only for dog-grooming, JoJo. I think it's time for a Gran Gran plan.
[Celebratory music briefly plays]
GRAN GRAN: We can open up our own toy-grooming salon!
JOJO SQUEALING: Ooh!
[Gentle, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: At Gran Gran’s house, Jojo and Gran Gran sit at the kitchen table wearing aprons, with pieces of newspaper laid out across the table. Gran Gran puts on rubber gloves. Panda lies beside a row of dirty toys, including grass and dirt-stained dinosaur stuffies, a lion puppet, and a muddy soccer ball wearing sunglasses. DESCRIPTION: At the table, the toys lie clean on the newspaper. Jojo adjusts the sunglasses on the soccer ball.
GRAN GRAN: What do you think?
JOJO: Hm...
GRAN GRAN: What's the matter, JoJo?
JOJO: There's something missing.
DESCRIPTION: Jojo ties a small orange bandana around Panda’s neck.
JOJO: Panda needed a special bandana!
GRAN GRAN: Ooh, lovely! I think our salon has been a success.

NED: Yeah. Taking dogs to the grooming salon is one way of looking after 'em, JoJo.
GRAN GRAN: Yes! In the same way we look after dogs by taking them for walks and giving them food!
NED: And... lots of love. Come here! Come here, boy!
DESCRIPTION: Ned kneels, and Monty rolls over. Ned pets Monty’s belly.
[Monty panting]
NED: Who's a good boy?
[Monty panting]
[Ned laughing]
DESCRIPTION: The groomer walks over to the German Shepard and the brown-haired man.
GROOMER: Next, please!
DESCRIPTION: The German Shepard turns to the brown-haired man and wags its tail.
[German Shepard panting]
JOJO: Oh, look! That dog's wearing a bandana, Ned.
NED: Oh yes, JoJo! Just like the one I've got for Monty after his trim.
[Monty barking and panting]
[Gentle, cheerful music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Later, Jojo sits in the chairs by the door with Gran Gran, Ned, and Monty.
[Bell ringing]
DESCRIPTION: A woman with long black hair walks in with a service dog wearing a harness.
JOJO: It looks like that dog is wearing a coat!
GRAN GRAN: It's a harness, JoJo. That must be a working dog.
JOJO: Panda, I didn't know dogs could go to work.
DESCRIPTION: The black-haired woman walks over to the chairs with her service dog.
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: Hello.
JOJO: Hi! You've got a lovely dog.
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: Thank you! This is Peggy. She's my guide dog. I can't see very well, but Peggy keeps me safe and helps me find my way around. You can say hello.
JOJO: Hello, Peggy. I'm JoJo. What type of dog is Peggy?
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: She's a Labradoodle. And a very helpful one, too.
DESCRIPTION: Peggy sits at the black-haired woman’s feet.
JOJO: How does Peggy help you?
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: Well, she helps me cross the road and stay safe when I'm out and about. She's also a lovely friend, aren't you, Peggy?
DESCRIPTION: The black-haired woman scratches Peggy.
JOJO: Is Peggy getting a haircut today?
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: Actually, Peggy's here to have her nails cut, so they don't grow too long.
JOJO: Oh! Can we see?
GRAN GRAN: Un-huh!
[Gentle, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Peggy stands on a grooming table raised to the groomer’s height. Her owner, the black-haired woman, stands at the end of the table with Jojo and Gran Gran. The Groomer trims Peggy’s nails.
[Nail clipper clicking, Peggy panting]
DESCRIPTION: In a grooming tub, the Groomer bathes Monty. Ned, Jojo and Gran Gran watch. At the grooming table, the Groomer cleans the German Shepard’s ears with a cotton ball. Later on the table, the Groomer blow-dries Monty’s fur.
[Monty panting]
[Blow-dryer whirring]
DESCRIPTION: The Groomer brushes and trims Monty’s fur. She sprays Monty with a dog spray, and Monty wags his tail. Later, Peggy, the German Shepherd, and Monty sit and wag their tails.
[Dogs panting]
[Jojo giggling]
DESCRIPTION: On the floor beside her, Jojo pets Panda on the head, then Monty. Outside, Jojo and Gran Gran stand with Ned and Monty, as well as the black-haired woman and Peggy.
BLACK-HAIRED WOMAN: It was great to meet you all! Goodbye!
NED: Bye-bye!
GRAN GRAN: Bye!
JOJO: Bye, Peggy!
DESCRIPTION: Peggy guides the black-haired woman down the sidewalk.
[Monty barking]
NED: Oh, I almost forgot!
[Ned chuckling]
DESCRIPTION: Ned pulls out the turquoise bandana.
JOJO: Monty's special bandana!
DESCRIPTION: Ned puts the bandana on Monty.
NED: There you go.
[Monty barking and panting]
JOJO: Very smart, Monty!
NED: Oh, look at that! We'd better head off too. Good to see you both!
JOJO: Bye, Ned! Bye, Monty!
NED: Bye, you two!
DESCRIPTION: Jojo and Gran Gran wave as Ned walks down the sidewalk with Monty. They leave in the other direction.
GRAN GRAN: Did you have a good time, JoJo?
JOJO: We loved it! Didn't we, Panda?
DESCRIPTION: Jojo tosses Panda in the air, and he lands in a puddle.
[Jojo gasping]
JOJO: Panda!
GRAN GRAN CHUCKLING: Oh, dear.
DESCRIPTION: Gran Gran picks up Panda.
JOJO: Gran Gran, can we take Panda to the salon, to be cleaned too?
GRAN GRAN: Oh, that place is only for dog-grooming, JoJo. I think it's time for a Gran Gran plan.
[Celebratory music briefly plays]
GRAN GRAN: We can open up our own toy-grooming salon!
JOJO SQUEALING: Ooh!
[Gentle, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: At Gran Gran’s house, Jojo and Gran Gran sit at the kitchen table wearing aprons, with pieces of newspaper laid out across the table. Gran Gran puts on rubber gloves. Panda lies beside a row of dirty toys, including grass and dirt-stained dinosaur stuffies, a lion puppet, and a muddy soccer ball wearing sunglasses. Wearing pink rubber gloves, Jojo picks up Panda and dunks him in the sink, filled with soapy water.
[Jojo humming to herself]
DESCRIPTION: Gran Gran clips Panda to a make-shift clothesline beside the sink.
GRAN GRAN: Oh, just for a moment, Panda.
DESCRIPTION: At the table, Jojo brushes the lion puppet. Gran Gran pretends to trim a toy t-rex’s nails with scissors.
GRAN GRAN: This won't hurt, Hugo!
DESCRIPTION: Gran Gran wipes a toy pterodactyl with a cloth. She unclips Panda from the clothesline.
GRAN GRAN: One more thing, Panda!
[Gran Gran giggling]
DESCRIPTION: Jojo holds up Panda. Gran Gran dries him with a hair dryer.
[Hair dryer whirring]
DESCRIPTION: At the table, the toys lie clean on the newspaper. Jojo adjusts the sunglasses on the soccer ball.
GRAN GRAN: What do you think?
JOJO: Hm...
GRAN GRAN: What's the matter, JoJo?
JOJO: There's something missing.
DESCRIPTION: Jojo ties a small orange bandana around Panda’s neck.
JOJO: Panda needed a special bandana!
GRAN GRAN: Ooh, lovely! I think our salon has been a success.
[Jojo giggling]
JOJO: Yes! I always look after you, don't I, Panda?
DESCRIPTION: Jojo hugs Panda.
[Gentle, cheerful music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In live-action, the blond-haired girl wearing a red t-shirt sits on the floor beside a French Bulldog.
BLOND-HAIRED GIRL NARRATING: This is my dog, Berg! Today, me and my family are giving him a bath.

DESCRIPTION: The blond-haired girl pours water over Berg with a large cup.
BLOND-HAIRED GIRL NARRATING: Berg's doing really well in the bath. Good boy, Berg.
DESCRIPTION: The blond-haired girl pours shampoo over Berg.
BLOND-HAIRED GIRL NARRATING: We're using special dog shampoo to clean Berg's body.
DESCRIPTION: The blond-haired girl scrubs the shampoo into Berg’s fur.
BLOND-HAIRED GIRL: Nice and bubbly, isn't it, Berggie?
BLOND-HAIRED GIRL NARRATING: We're rubbing the shampoo into his fur.
DESCRIPTION: The moustached dad holds Berg from behind.
BLOND-HAIRED GIRL: I think he likes it!

DESCRIPTION: The family dries Berg with towels.

DESCRIPTION: Berg lies on his back and rolls around on the towels.
