[Energetic music plays, marble rumbling, whooshing, marbles clattering]

A marble rolls on a curving purple track and falls onto a marble run lift, which lowers, tips, and drops it. Dozens of marbles fall on the floor.

Children shout, LET'S RUN THE MARBLES!

[Marbles rattling, upbeat music plays]

In a studio, Koralee holds a curved platform and swirls small beads around inside. She has tightly braided dark brown hair and wears a green T-shirt and blue jeans. Beside her, Ben, with short blond hair and wearing a blue shirt and jeans, kneels and watches.

A narrator says, HI, BEN AND KORALEE.

Ben and Koralee say, HELLO!

The narrator asks, WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?

[Beads rattling]

Koralee says, WE CAN'T STOP LOOKING AT THESE LITTLE BEADS, THEY'RE SO SWIRLY.

The narrator says, THEY LOOK LIKE TEENY TINY MARBLES. AROUND AND AROUND, THEY GO!

[Bead rattling]

Koralee says, WE'LL BE USING LOTS OF SPIRALS AND FUNNELS IN THIS MARBLE RUN. THESE BEADS ARE SO FUN TO WATCH. LET'S MAKE A MARBLE RUN SO WE CAN PLAY SOME MORE.

[Clattering, creaking, thumping, clicking, smacking, upbeat music continues]

Marbles roll across the screen. Koralee and Ben take some track lifts out of a toy box, and Koralee gently lowers the lid. Each of the four lifts has a funnel, and a track connects them. They fish bump and wipe their brows.

Koralee and Ben say, PHEW!

[Dinging]

The track has a fifth funnel at the end, attached to a container.

The narrator says, IT LOOKS TERRIFIC. YOU'RE READY TO ROLL!

[Whirring, slide whistle]

Koralee and Ben stand. Koralee picks up a container of beads from a table.

Koralee says, LET'S TRY A BUNCH OF SMALL BEADS ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Ben says, BEADS!

[Beads rattling, clunking, upbeat music continues]

Koralee kneels at the top of the track and releases a handful of beads. The beads swirl around the funnel platform, fall through the hole, and roll to the next funnel. At the end of the track, they drop into the final funnel and fall into the container.

The narrator says, WEE! WOW! THESE BEADS ARE FUN TO WATCH, BUT THEY'RE SO LIGHT, THEY KEEP GETTING STUCK.

On the funnel platforms, beads stop at the edge of the hole. Ben holds a metal ball bearing.

Ben says, LET'S RUN A BALL BEARING!

The narrator says, BALL BEARINGS? GOOD IDEA. WE CAN TRY THOSE NEXT.

Koralee says, BALL BEARINGS LOOK SUPER GOOD, BECAUSE THEY'RE SUPER SHINY.

[Ball bearings rattling, rumbling]

Ben removes a ball bearing from a container and releases it on the track.

The narrator says, BEADS AND BALL BEARINGS ARE BOTH SO FUN TO WATCH. I WONDER WHICH WILL FINISH FASTER? THE BALL BEARINGS OR THE BEADS?

[Clunking]

The ball bearing falls into the container.

Koralee says, BEN, HOW ABOUT LET'S ROLL A BEAD AND A BALL BEARING AT THE SAME TIME.


[Whirring, rumbling, upbeat music continues]

At the top of the track, Ben releases a ball bearing, and Koralee releases a red bead. The bead falls through the hole and rolls down the track.

The narrator says, VERY COOL. THE BALL BEARING DOES SEEM TO KEEP SWIRLING LONGER.

[Rumbling]

A blue bead falls through a funnel hole as a ball bearing swirls on the funnel above.

The narrator asks, ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN TRY?

[Rumbling, clunking]

The ball bearing drops through a hole in a funnel, rolls down to the last funnel, drops through the hole, and lands in the container.

Koralee says, I KNOW. WE ALMOST FORGOT TO ROLL MARBLES IN OUR MARBLE RUN!

[Slide whistle, upbeat music continues]

Koralee takes a bowl of marbles off the table.

Koralee and Ben say, LET'S RUN THE MARBLES!

Koralee says, AND A FEW OTHER THINGS.

[Clattering]

Marbles fall in a pile and cover the screen.

[Rumbling, rattling, clunking]

Koralee and Ben release marbles, beads, and ball bearings at the top of the track. They swirl around the platforms and fall through the funnel holes. At the end of the track, the marbles, beads, and ball bearings fall into the last funnel and the container.

The narrator says, WHOA. DIFFERENT COLOURS AND SIZES MAKE AN EYE-CATCHING MARBLE RUN. YOU CAN ROLL LOTS OF THINGS LIKE BEADS, BALL BEARINGS, AND MARBLES.

Ben and Koralee say, LET'S RUN THE MARBLES!

[Clattering, rumbling, upbeat music continues]
