[Energetic music plays, marble rumbling, whooshing, marbles clattering]

A marble rolls on a curving purple track and falls onto a marble run lift, which lowers, tips, and drops it. Dozens of marbles fall on the floor. T.V.O. Kids presents.

Title: "Run the Marbles."

Children shout, LET'S RUN THE MARBLES!

[Upbeat music plays]

In a studio, Ben sits at the top of a slide. Koralee kneels on the floor, digging in a round basin sandbox. Ben has short blond hair and wears a blue shirt and jeans. Koralee, an adult with tightly braided dark brown hair, wears a green T-shirt and blue jeans.

A narrator says, HI, YOU TWO!

Koralee and Ben say, HI.

[Slide whistle, rustling, dinging]

Ben slides down the slide.

The narrator says, HMM. DOES THIS GIVE YOU TWO AN IDEA?

Koralee says, BEN, WE CAN USE THE SLIDE AND THE SAND.

Ben says, IT'S GOING TO BE SO COOL.

Funnels, plastic tracks, straws, rulers, plastic crystals, seashells, and pinwheels are arranged on a nearby table.

The narrator says, TO MAKE A SUPER SPECTACULAR SLIDE-Y MARBLE RUN THAT ENDS IN THOSE SANDBOXES!

[Hands slapping]

Koralee and Ben high-five.

Ben says, WOO!

[Clattering]

Marbles fall in a pile and cover the screen. Ben takes a container full of marbles off the table. In a green sandbox, a large sandcastle has smaller castles on each side.

Koralee says, GIVE IT A TRY, BEN. MAYBE WE CAN KNOCK OVER THE SANDCASTLES.

[Marbles clattering]

Ben pours the marbles onto the slide, and they roll between the green sandbox and a blue sandbox.

The narrator says, HMM. THE MARBLES DIDN'T QUITE MAKE IT TO THE SAND, DID THEY?

Koralee says, WE'LL HAVE TO LIFT THE SLIDE.

Ben says, THAT'S FOR SURE.

The narrator says, THOSE BOXES SHOULD DO THE TRICK.

[Thumping, scraping]

Koralee tilts the slide, and Ben slides a box beneath the end. They build a track from the end of the slide to each sandbox.

The narrator says, AND THOSE CURVY TRACKS MAY GET THE MARBLES TO THE SAND. BUT WAIT, YOU MADE TWO TRACKS, HOW WILL THE MARBLES KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO?

Koralee says, WE THOUGHT OF THAT.

[Creaking, squeaking, slide whistle, upbeat music continues]

Koralee opens a toy box, and Ben takes out a pool noodle that has been cut in half lengthwise. They attach the noodles to the slide and join them near the top, creating two separate tracks down the slide.

The narrator says, NOW THE MARBLES CAN CHOOSE WHICH SANDBOX TO LAND IN.

[Boinging]

Koralee and Ben put an arrow on top of each noodle.

The narrator asks, WHICH WAY WILL THEY GO?

Ben asks, THIS WAY OR THAT WAY.

[Dinging]

In animation, the arrows pulse, pointing in opposite directions.

The narrator says, THIS WAY, OR THAT WAY? CREATING PATHWAYS IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA. NOW THE MARBLES CAN CHOOSE WHICH SANDBOX TO LAND IN.

Koralee says, TIME TO DECORATE.

[Slide whistle, rustling, clunking, dinging]

Koralee picks up a container of seashells, miniature flags, and plastic crystals, along with a board with plastic crystals attached to one side, resembling a vertical maze gameboard. Ben picks up a pinwheel. Koralee puts a box on the table and then positions the crystal board at the top of the slide. She puts a flag on a sandcastle, and Ben puts seashells in the sand and grabs the other pinwheel from the table.

The narrator says, THIS IS LOOKING REALLY GOOD, YOU TWO.

[Slide whistle, whooshing, blowing]

One track leads to the green sandbox, where sandcastles are topped with flags. The other track leads to the sandbox with seashells and pinwheels. Ben blows on a pinwheel, and it spins.

Ben asks, SANDCASTLES?

Koralee says, OR SEASHELLS?

The narrator says, I WONDER WHICH WAY THE MARBLES WILL GO?

Koralee and Ben say, LET'S RUN THE MARBLES!

[Clattering]

Marbles roll across the screen.

[Marbles clattering, marbles rumbling]

Ben and Koralee each release a marble on the crystal board at the top of the slide.

The narrator says, THOSE CRYSTALS WILL SLOW THE MARBLES DOWN A BIT, GIVING US LOTS OF TIME TO GUESS WHICH WAY THE MARBLES WILL GO.

A marble lands in each sandbox.

Ben cheers, WHEE!

Ben dances.

The narrator says, WOW! THAT WAS GREAT!

[Marbles rattling, rumbling, clattering, upbeat music continues, Ben giggling]

Ben and Koralee each grab a handful of marbles. She takes white marbles and he takes blue marbles. They release them on the crystal board. The marbles roll down the slide, onto the track, and into the sandboxes. Ben tips a container of marbles onto the track.

Ben says, COOL!

[Marbles rattling, rumbling, clattering, children cheering]

Marbles roll down the slide to the sandboxes, and a sandcastle falls apart.
