[Energetic music plays, marble rumbling, whooshing, marbles clattering]

A marble rolls on a curving purple track and falls onto a marble run lift, which lowers, tips, and drops it. Dozens of marbles fall on the floor. T.V.O. Kids presents.

Title: "Run the Marbles."

Children shout, LET'S RUN THE MARBLES!

[Drum beat plays, guitar strumming]

In a studio, Koralee hits a drum with a drumstick, and Andee plays a guitar. Koralee has tightly braided dark brown hair and wears a green T-shirt and blue jeans. Andee has long, dark brown hair and wears a yellow T-shirt and blue jeans. Nearby, a large container of marbles is on a yellow table.

A narrator says, HI THERE, KORALEE! HI, ANDEE!

Koralee and Andee wave and say, HI.

[Upbeat music plays]

Koralee and Andee play their instruments.

The narrator says, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE STARTING A BAND.

[Guitar riff plays, drumming]

The narrator says, SOUNDS GOOD. WHAT ELSE DO YOU HAVE?

Koralee says, WE HAVE LOTS OF INSTRUMENTS.

[Clicking, tambourine jangling]

Koralee opens a toy chest. Andee takes out a tambourine and taps it against her thigh. Koralee strums a small ukulele.

The narrator says, WOW. THOSE WILL MAKE SOME REALLY COOL SOUNDS.

[Xylophone scale chiming, thumping]

Koralee plays a metallophone, and Andee plays a hand drum. Andee picks up a container of marbles.

Andee says, LET'S SEE IF MARBLES CAN HELP US MAKE SOME MUSICAL SOUNDS.

[Clattering, upbeat music plays, marble tapping]

Marbles fall in a pile and cover the screen. Andee lays the guitar on the table, and Koralee holds a bell near the edge of the table. Andee rolls a marble down the fingerboard of the guitar. It bounces on the strings and misses the bell.

The narrator says, OH, I SEE. YOU'RE USING THE GUITAR AS A RAMP FOR A MUSICAL MARBLE RUN.

[Buzzer blaring]

In animation, an arrow beside the table points to the floor.

Andee says, THAT DIDN'T WORK. THE MARBLE DIDN'T EVEN HIT THE BELL.

The narrator asks, WHY NOT ATTACH SOME SMALL METAL TRACKS TO THE END OF THE GUITAR?

Andee says, GREAT IDEA!

[Upbeat music plays, whooshing, rustling]

Andee cuts tape and tapes the metal bars of a metallophone together as a track. She tapes the track below the bridge on the guitar.

Koralee says, READY? LET'S RUN THE MARBLES!

[Marble rumbling, tapping]

Andee releases a marble on the fingerboard. The marble rolls down the track and bounces off the side of the bell.

The narrator says, THAT WASN'T THE SOUND WE WERE EXPECTING.

Koralee says, LET'S TRY AIMING THE MARBLE TO A DIFFERENT SPOT ON THE BELL.

[Upbeat music continues]

Koralee moves the bell.

The narrator says, YES. MAYBE THE MARBLE NEEDS TO HIT THE BELL RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE TO MAKE A NICE SOUND.

[Slide whistle, rumbling, dinging]

Andee rolls a marble down the guitar track. The marble flies off the end and hits the bell.

The narrator says, LISTEN TO THAT! IT'S WORKING!

[Scraping, drumming]

Koralee puts her drum on four blocks on a lower table beneath the end of the guitar. Andee releases the marble on the guitar; it rolls on the track, falls off, and bounces on the drum.

The narrator says, THAT SOUNDED SO GREAT.

[Hands slapping]

Andee and Koralee high-five.

Koralee asks, YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD MAKE IT SOUND BETTER?

Andee says, MORE INSTRUMENTS!

[Clattering]

Marbles fall in a pile and cover the screen. Koralee puts a block on the lower table and tilts a metallophone.

The narrator says, A METALLOPHONE! FABULOUS!

[Rumbling, drumming, plinking]

Andee releases the marble on the guitar; it rolls on the track, falls off, bounces on the drum, and bounces on the metallophone.

The narrator says, GREAT BOUNCING MARBLE. WHAT'S NEXT? HM, YOU'RE ADDING SOME TWISTS AND TURNS AND EVEN MORE PIECES TO THIS RUN. NICE!

[Upbeat music plays, tambourine jangling, slide whistle]

Andee and Koralee attach a curved wall to the metallophone, and Koralee puts a row of blocks beneath the edge of the smaller table. Wooden track leads across wooden blocks and the fingerboard of the ukulele. Koralee puts a wooden drum upside down on a block, and Andee puts the tambourine inside. Koralee hangs the bell above the tambourine.

The narrator says, AND NOW FOR THE FINAL PIECE OF THE RUN. WOW! IT LOOKS AMAZING!

Koralee asks, WHAT IS IT GOING TO SOUND LIKE?

[Dinging]

The narrator says, LET'S FIND OUT!

Andee says, MUSIC TIME!

Andee and Koralee say, LET'S RUN THE MARBLES!

[Clattering]

Marbles roll across the screen.

[Upbeat music plays, thumping, metallophone notes plinking, rumbling, bell dinging, marbles clattering]

Andee releases the marble onto the guitar; it rolls along the track, falls off, bounces on the drum, and then bounces onto the metallophone. The marble hits the wall and rolls down the bars of the metallophone. The marble rolls across the ukulele, hits the bell, and falls into the tambourine. Andee and Koralee each grab a handful of marbles.

Andee says, AND A-ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!

[Whooshing, drumming, plinking, rumbling, dinging, children cheering, tambourine jangling]

Marbles roll across the instruments in the marble run. Andee smiles and dances.
