[Gentle music plays, Ladybird and Bee giggle, Bee buzzes, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird, a red and black ladybug, and Bee, a yellow and black bee, rest on a branch. The title, on a falling green leaf, reads, “Ladybird and Bee.”

NARRATOR: It's Ladybird and Bee.

[Ladybird and Bee laugh, upbeat music plays, wings flap rapidly, both exclaim]

DESCRIPTION: In a meadow, Ladybird and Bee hop from one wildflower to the next beneath the pink sky.

NARRATOR: Hello, Ladybird and Bee.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Ladybird and Bee giggle, both exclaim, a daisy yawns, soft music notes play]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee land on a white daisy, and it yawns. They both take off and hover over the flower.

BEE: Buzz?

LADYBIRD: Loo?

DESCRIPTION: The daisy closes its petals.

NARRATOR: What is the daisy doing?

[Rustle, second daisy yawns]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee land on another daisy. They take off, and that daisy closes its petals.

LADYBIRD: Loo?

NARRATOR: This daisy's doing it too!

[Bee gasps]

BEE: Ah, buzz, buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo.

[Sun yawns, gentle music plays, flowers rustle, flowers yawn]

DESCRIPTION: The sun sets slowly behind rolling hills, and blurry stars appear. Ladybird and Bee watch from a third daisy.

NARRATOR: The sun is going to bed, Ladybird and Bee.

[Daisy yawns]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee snuggle together on the daisy, and it moves its petals.

BEE: Buzz?

LADYBIRD: Lilli?

NARRATOR: And the daisy is going to bed too.

[Ladybird and Bee exclaim, flower rustles, insects chitter, flowers snore]

DESCRIPTION: The daisy closes its petals, and Ladybird and Bee fly out of an opening at the top. They hover over the closed daisies.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz.

[Daisies snore, gentle music continues]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee land on a green leaf.

NARRATOR: It's daisy bedtime, Ladybird and Bee.

BEE: Buzz, buzz.

DESCRIPTION: Bee stretches, and Ladybird rubs her eye.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo.

[Both yawn, daisies snore]

NARRATOR: And our bedtime, too, Ladybird and Bee.

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird nods.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo.

BEE: Buzz, buzz.

[Rustle, Ladybird and Bee snore, flowers snore, wings flap, gentle music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee snuggle together on the leaf and sleep. Overhead, moths fly beneath the full moon.

NARRATOR: Goodnight, Ladybird and Bee.

[Everyone snores, the music stops, birds chirp, buzzing, wings flap]
