[Gentle music plays, Ladybird and Bee giggle, Bee buzzes, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird, a red and black ladybug, and Bee, a yellow and black bee, rest on a branch. The title, on a falling green leaf, reads, “Ladybird and Bee.”

NARRATOR: It's Ladybird and Bee.

[Ladybird and Bee laugh, wings flap, both exclaim]

DESCRIPTION: Near the ground, Bee chases Ladybird in circles near flower stems.

NARRATOR: Hello, Ladybird and Bee.

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird stops flying, and Bee bumps into her bottom. Ladybird and Bee land on the ground.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee wave.

BEE: Buzz...

[Bee sniffs, upbeat music plays]

BEE: Buzz?

LADYBIRD: Loo?

[Ladybird sniffs]

NARRATOR: Do you smell something, Ladybird and Bee?

[Wings flap, buzzing]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly and then land again.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz.

[Narrator chuckles, birds chirp]

NARRATOR: What's making that smell?

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo.

BEE: Buzz, buzz?

[Both exclaim, buzzing, buzzing, wings flutter]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly to nearby flowers.

LADYBIRD: Loo.

BEE: Buzz.

LADYBIRD: Lilli?

NARRATOR: Is the smell here, Ladybird and Bee?

[Ladybird and Bee exclaim, Bee buzzes, both gasp, exclaim, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee shake their heads. They fly up over wildflowers growing in a meadow beneath a blue sky. The smell leaves a misty trail over the flowers.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

NARRATOR: The smell is a long way away. Ladybird and Bee are good smellers.

[Ladybird and Bee exclaim, both giggle, wings flap]

NARRATOR: Let's go!

[Ladybird and Bee exclaim, both chuckle, both exclaim, sniff, both chuckle]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly across the meadow.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Sniffing]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee follow the smell down towards the flowers.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo?

BEE: Buzz?

[Ladybird and Bee exclaim, both sniff]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee land on the ground beside purple flowers.

NARRATOR: You found the smell, Ladybird and Bee.

[Wings flap, Ladybird and Bee exclaim, both sniff]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly up to the flower petals.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

[Both laugh, wings flap, buzzing, gentle music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly around the purple flowers.

BEE: Buzz, buzz?

LADYBIRD: Loo?

NARRATOR: Lovely purply flowers with a lovely purply smell.

[Flowers rustle, buzzing]

DESCRIPTION: Bee buries her head in a flower, and the flower shakes.

BEE: Buzz, buzz.

[Ladybird and Bee giggle, birds chirp, wings flap, gentle music plays]
