[Gentle music plays, Ladybird and Bee giggle, Bee buzzes, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird, a red and black ladybug, and Bee, a yellow and black bee, rest on a branch. The title, on a falling green leaf, reads, “Ladybird and Bee.”

NARRATOR: It's Ladybird and Bee.

[Cheerful music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly over wildflowers in a meadow beneath the grey sky.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Ladybird and Bee laugh, both exclaim, both giggle]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee bounce off flowers and then hover in the air.

NARRATOR: Hello, Ladybird. Hello, Bee.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

[Wings flap rapidly]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee wave.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Wind gusts]

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo-o-o!

BEE: B-buzz!

[Flower rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee spin in the wind and land on a purple flower.

LADYBIRD: Loo?

BEE: Buzz?

NARRATOR: That was a bit windy, Ladybird and Bee.

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee nod.

LADYBIRD: Loo.

BEE: Buzz.

[Flower rustles, wind gusts, both gasp, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee nod, then fly away from the flower. They struggle to fly forward against the wind.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo.

BEE: Buzz, buzz.

[Both pant]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly forward and land on a yellow flower.

NARRATOR: That was very windy, Ladybird and Bee.

[Light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird nods.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo.

DESCRIPTION: Bee nods.

BEE: Buzz, buzz.

[Ladybird gasps]

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz?

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird elbows Bee’s side, and they fly to the purple flower with the wind pushing them forward.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Both laugh]

NARRATOR: That was fun in the wind!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz!

[Tense music plays, wing gusts]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee struggle against the wind as they fly back towards the yellow flower.

LADYBIRD: Lilli... loo?

BEE: Buzz... buzz?

[Wing gusts]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee blow away from the flower.

LADYBIRD: Loo!

BEE: Buzz!

LADYBIRD: Loo.

[Both pant]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee land on the ground.

NARRATOR: It's a very windy day.

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee nod.

BEE: Buzz.

LADYBIRD: Loo.

NARRATOR: But it's not so windy down here.

[Light music plays, Ladybird gasps]

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

[Wings flap rapidly]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird flies to a nearby acorn and lands on top.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo, lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz.

[Wings flap rapidly]

DESCRIPTION: Bee lands on the ground beside the acorn. Ladybird and Bee fly from the acorn to a nearby chestnut and land on top.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

[Ladybird and Bee laugh]

NARRATOR: We can play racing down here, where there's no windy wind.

[Ladybird and Bee gasp, both exclaim, both laugh, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly to the acorn and land on it.

[The music stops, birds chirp, wings flap]
