[Gentle music plays, Ladybird and Bee giggle, Bee buzzes, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird, a red and black ladybug, and Bee, a yellow and black bee, rest on a branch. The title, on a falling green leaf, reads, “Ladybird and Bee.”

NARRATOR: It's Ladybird and Bee.

[Cheerful music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly across the blue sky.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Ladybird and Bee giggle]

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

NARRATOR: Hello, Ladybird and Bee!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee wave.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Distant crying, Ladybird and Bee gasp]

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo?

BEE: Buzz?

[Baby Woodlouse weeps, mellow music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly closer to the ground and find a baby woodlouse standing on a fallen leaf. They land beside her, and Bee pats her side.

BEE: Buzz, buzz.

NARRATOR: Where are your family, Baby Woodlouse?

[Baby Woodlouse whimpers and weeps]

DESCRIPTION: Baby woodlouse points over Ladybird’s head.

LADYBIRD: Loo?

[Mellow music continues]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird looks up at a tree branch.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo.

BEE: Buzz.

[Patting, baby woodlouse cries]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee hug the baby woodlouse, and Bee pats her head.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz, buzz.

NARRATOR: I think Baby Woodlouse is all alone.

[Baby Woodlouse weeps]

NARRATOR: We'll help you find them! Ladybird and Bee are good at looking.

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee nod.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo! Lilliloo.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Wings flap rapidly, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly up to the tree branch.

BEE: Buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

[Footsteps patter, baby woodlouse whimpers, sighs]

DESCRIPTION: The baby woodlouse climbs the tree and lies down on the branch next to Ladybird and Bee.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo?

BEE: Buzz?

[Baby Woodlouse exclaims, cries]

BEE: Buzz, buzz, buzz!

[Wings flap rapidly]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly down to the ground, and the baby woodlouse follows. They fly into a hole, and she slides down behind them.

BABY WOODLOUSE: Whee!

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Baby woodlouse whimpers, distant chirping, Ladybird gasps]

DESCRIPTION: Baby woodlouse looks around sadly.

BEE: Buzz?

NARRATOR: Where is that sound coming from?

[Baby woodlouse gasps, trills excitedly, coos, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Baby woodlouse runs along a tree root. Back on the surface, she hurries into a hollow log. Ladybird and Bee fly behind her. Inside the log, the adult woodlouse hugs the baby woodlouse. Two other baby woodlice smile. Ladybird and Bee fly up, and the baby woodlice walk out of the log, smiling.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

[Baby woodlice exclaim, upbeat music continues]

NARRATOR: Baby Woodlouse loves being with her family.

[Ladybird and Bee giggle]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird lands behind the three baby woodlice and walks behind them. Bee follows her.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

[Birds chirp, wings flap]
