[Gentle music plays, Ladybird and Bee giggle, Bee buzzes, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird, a red and black ladybug, and Bee, a yellow and black bee, rest on a branch. The title, on a falling green leaf, reads, “Ladybird and Bee.”

NARRATOR: It's Ladybird and Bee.

[Relaxing music continues]

DESCRIPTION: On a pond, Ladybird and Bee relax on their backs on a lily pad.

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo.

BEE: Buzz-buzz.

NARRATOR: Hello, Ladybird and Bee.

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo!

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee wave.

BEE: Buzz-buzz!

[Bee sighs, water splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Tadpole surfaces near the lily pad.

NARRATOR: Hello, Tadpole!

BEE: Buzz?

LADYBIRD: Lily.

[Ladybird gasps, tadpole chatters, Bee giggles]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee stand and look at Tadpole, and everyone waves.

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo.

BEE: Buzz-buzz.

[Tadpole exclaims, water splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Tadpole points at themself with their tail.

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo!

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee look down at the water.
BEE: Buzz.

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo.

[Tadpole sighs, soft music plays, water gently splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Tadpole looks down at the water with their mouth turned down at the corners.

NARRATOR: Tadpole looks sad. Do you want someone to play with you in the water, Tadpole?

[Tadpole exclaims, water gently splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Tadpole nods.

NARRATOR: Hmm. Let's find someone who can play in the water!

[Water splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee nod, and Tadpole leaps excitedly.

BEE: Buzz-buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo!

[Tadpole exclaims, water splashes, upbeat music plays, water splashes, Tadpole chuckles]

DESCRIPTION: Tadpole dives into the water and looks around. They surface, look around, then smile. Tadpole swims to a nearby leaf, and Ladybird and Bee fly over.

NARRATOR: Is this green thing what you're looking for?

[Tadpole sighs, murmurs, water splashes, Tadpole exclaims, upbeat music plays, moss rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Tadpole shakes their head and swims to the moss on a stone. Ladybird and Bee poke the moss.

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo.

BEE: Buzz?

NARRATOR: Is this squishy thing what you're looking for?

[Tadpole sighs]

DESCRIPTION: Tadpole shakes their head.

FROG: Ribbit. Ribbit.

[Tadpole exclaims, giggles]

DESCRIPTION: Frog sits on the moss and waves. Tadpole swims in circles.

NARRATOR: This is what you're looking for!

DESCRIPTION: Tadpole nods.

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo!

BEE: Buzz!

[Splash, Tadpole laughs]

DESCRIPTION: Frog jumps into the water. On the shore, a red bug skitters past the leaf, and a black bug flies past the moss on the stone.

NARRATOR: She's green like the leaf, and squishy like the moss.

FROG: Ribbit.

[Water splashes, Frog and Tadpole exclaim, both laugh]

DESCRIPTION: In the pond, Frog and Tadpole splash each other.

NARRATOR: But she's not the leaf, and she's not the moss. She's a frog!

[Ladybird and Bee cheer, Frog laughs, water splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Frog swims in the water, and Tadpole follows her.

NARRATOR: Frog can play in the water with Tadpole!

[Ladybird and Bee laugh]

DESCRIPTION: Frog and Tadpole play in the water, and Ladybird and Bee fly over them.

LADYBIRD: Lily-loo!

BEE: Buzz-buzz!

[The music stops, birds chirp, buzzing, wings flap]
