[Gentle music plays, Ladybird and Bee giggle, Bee buzzes, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird, a red and black ladybug, and Bee, a yellow and black bee, rest on a branch. The title, on a falling green leaf, reads, “Ladybird and Bee.”

NARRATOR: It's Ladybird and Bee.

[Upbeat music plays, Ladybird and Bee exclaim, both laugh]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee fly close to the ground in a meadow full of wildflowers.

NARRATOR: Hello, Ladybird and Bee.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee wave.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz?

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee land beside green moss on the ground.

BEE: Buzz, buzz?

LADYBIRD: Loo?

[Moss rustles, Narrator gasps]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee poke the moss.

NARRATOR: It's squishy, green moss!

[Moss rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee poke the moss.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz!

[Moss rustles, Ladybird and Bee exclaim, both giggle, upbeat music continues]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee jump on the moss. They jump from one mossy patch to another.

NARRATOR: There are lots of squishy patches.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee land on a mossy patch and stop jumping.

BEE: Buzz?

LADYBIRD: Loo?

[Ladybird gasps]

DESCRIPTION: Moss grows on a log, on stones in the pond, and on a tree trunk.

NARRATOR: There's squishy, green moss everywhere.

BEE: Buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

DESCRIPTION: A small red bug skitters past moss on the ground. In the pond, two tadpoles swim near a mossy rock. Insects fly past the moss on the tree trunk.

NARRATOR: It's on the ground. It's on the stones. It's even going up the trees.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz?

LADYBIRD: Loo?

NARRATOR: Are you going to play a game, Ladybird and Bee?

[Both exclaim]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird nods.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

[Ladybird and Bee laugh, moss rustles, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee jump from one mossy patch to another. They jump on the mossy log.

NARRATOR: Are you jumping on the squishy patches, Ladybird and Bee?

BEE: Buzz.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo.

BEE: Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz!

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee jump on the mossy stones in the pond, then back to the mossy patches on the shore.

NARRATOR: It's a moss jumping game!

[Ladybird and Bee laugh, both exclaim, moss rustles, both gasp]

NARRATOR: Oh no! Stay on the squishy, green moss, Bee!

[Moss rustles, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Bee wiggles towards the edge of the moss and reaches for Ladybird.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Ladybird gasps, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird grabs Bee’s leg.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz?

[Moss rustles, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Bee walks back to the centre of the mossy patch.

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Narrator giggles, Ladybird and Bee giggle, both laugh, moss rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee jump from mossy patch to mossy patch.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Both laugh, moss rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Bee chases Ladybird from patch to patch.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz, buzz!

[Both pant, both chuckle]

DESCRIPTION: Ladybird and Bee stop on a large moss patch.

LADYBIRD: Lilliloo!

BEE: Buzz!

[Ladybird and Bee giggle, the music stops, birds chirp, wings flap]
