[Camp Leader chuckles, light music plays]

DOODLE: Camp Leader, isn't Pigeon Post usually here by now?

ODO: Found Bud, found Louie! Come on, Doodle, we still need to find...

[Light music plays, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Odo touches the tree, then notices Doodle standing on the stage with slumped shoulders.

ODO: Doodle? Doodle, are you still thinking about Pigeon Post?

DOODLE: But I just have a funny feeling about him. Like maybe he needs help.

ODO: Hup! You're my best friend, Doodle. And if you have a funny feeling, we should do something about your funny feeling.

ODO SHOUTS: Come out, come out, wherever you are!

CAMPERS: Huh?

[Upbeat music plays, wings flap]

CHICKENS: One... two...

[Campers clamour]

DESCRIPTION: Campers scatter, leaving Rosie and Ruby standing beside the stage, near Flo, Joe, Shirley, Odo, and Doodle.

CHICKENS: Seven...

[Chickens argue in the background]

ROSIE: Ah, if you say you've got a funny feeling that Pigeon Post needs help, then we'll help you and Odo look for him.

DOODLE: Thanks, Rosie. Thanks, Ruby.

ODO: Together, we'll find Pigeon Post. And if he needs help, we'll help him. I know we can!

FLO: You skipped five!

[Feathers whoosh, bird chirps, footsteps patter, upbeat music plays]

RUBY: Um... is it nighttime already?

[Rosie laughs]

ROSIE: No! Oh, this letter was covering your eyes.

RUBY: Oh.

DOODLE: It must be from Pigeon Post's post bag. It came from this way!

[Odo pants]

DESCRIPTION: Doodle points, and everyone runs in that direction. Odo finds a trail of letters on the grass.

ODO: Huh?

[Letters rustle]

DESCRIPTION: Odo picks up the letters as he walks, giving each to Doodle, who gives it to Rosie, who gives it to Ruby. They arrive at a bush with Pigeon Post’s hat on top of a broad leaf.

PIGEON POST: Um, help, please.

[Leaves rustle, campers gasp, light music plays]

ROSIE: Is that a talking bush?

PIGEON POST: Uh, a little help if you don't mind.

DOODLE: It sounds like Pigeon Post!

ODO: Um, Pigeon Post? Have you turned into a bush?

PIGEON POST: Up here!

ALL: Huh?

DESCRIPTION: Pigeon Post dangles upside-down from a tree branch.

DOODLE: Pigeon Post! What happened?

DESCRIPTION: In a flashback, pictures show Pigeon Post flying over the forest, dropping a biscuit and letters, flying to the biscuit on a branch, and eating the biscuit.

PIGEON POST: I was flying in to deliver the post, and I got hungry. I grabbed a biscuit from me bag, but I dropped it! It landed in a tree, and I swooped down to get it. The good news is, I got the biscuit. It was delicious! The bad news is, I'm stuck.

DESCRIPTION: The flashback ends. In the present, Pigeon Post dangles above the campers.

[Odo gasps]

DOODLE: Don't worry, Pigeon Post! We'll get help.

[Cracking, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Pigeon Post’s branch cracks.

PIGEON POST: Huh? Oh, uh...

[Odo and Doodle gasp]

ODO: We need to get help fast!

DESCRIPTION: Ruby and Rosie turn.

ROSIE: Quick, jump on our backs!

[Footsteps rustle, Pigeon Post laughs, leaves rustle, branch cracks]

DESCRIPTION: Ruby carries Odo, and Rosie carries Doodle. In the tree, a beetle scurries up Pigeon Post’s leg. The branch droops closer to the ground.

PIGEON POST: Oh, oh! Huh?

[Whooshing, suspenseful music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Rosie and Ruby fly towards camp, swerving around trees.

DOODLE: Whoa! Whoa!

[Odo gasps]

DESCRIPTION: At the camp, the chickens look around the clearing, then look under rocks.

CHICKENS: Is anybody hiding... here? Here?

[Leaves rustle, Leonardo sighs, light music plays]

LEONARDO: Will this never end? I'm over here!

SHIRLEY: Where?

JOE: No! It might be a trick.

[Leonardo groans, Odo and Doodle grunt]

DESCRIPTION: Shirley and Joe narrow their eyes. Rosie and Ruby land, and Doodle and Odo hop onto the stage. Odo holds letters with both his wings.

ODO SHOUTS: Come out, come out, wherever you are!

CAMPERS: Huh?

[Tense music plays, hummingbird wings flutter quickly]

ODO: Doodle was right! Pigeon Post needs our help! He's stuck up in a tree, and the branch is breaking!

[Campers gasp]

DESCRIPTION: Camp Leader pokes her head up from behind the stage.

CAMP LEADER: Well, what are we waiting for?!

[Camper’s clamour, chickens cluck, exciting music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Camp Leader charges away from the stage, and the campers follow.

CAMP LEADER: Save Pigeon Post!

[Doodle grunts, dishes clatter, feathers whoosh, Pigeon Post laughs, leaves rustle, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Doodle pulls a tablecloth off the table, leaving the dishes on top. Feathers wave. At the tree, the beetle skitters across Pigeon Post’s tummy as Camp Leader leans on the branch, trying to untangle the strap of his bag.

PIGEON POST: Stop tickling me!

CAMP LEADER: Now, hold still while I try and untangle you.

PIGEON POST: Ha-ha, tell that to the beetle!

[Pigeon Post laughs, branch cracks, Camp Leader exclaims]

DESCRIPTION: Pigeon Post sways on the branch as Odo and the other campers, minus Doodle, stand in a circle below.

ANNA: We need a giant butterfly net! Then we can catch him!

THELMA: Oh, and we need a hundred bean bags! Then when he falls, he'll have a soft landing!

DESCRIPTION: Doodle arrives with the tablecloth.

DOODLE: Here, use this!

ODO: Great idea, Doodle!

LOUIE: That's a tree-mendous idea!

[Campers laugh, tablecloth rustles, Pigeon Post laughs, yelps, descending music notes play, Camp Leader gasps, exclaims, campers cheer, everyone laughs]

DESCRIPTION: The campers grab the edges of the tablecloth and stretch it beneath Pigeon Post. He falls as Camp Leader reaches for him and lands on the tablecloth. Pigeon Post stands, and Camp Leader lands behind him and the campers. The two hummingbirds place Pigeon Post’s hat on his head.

[Feathers whoosh, bird chirps, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Later at camp, the chickens cover their faces under the tree beside the stage.

JOE: One...

FLO: Ready?

[Odo and Doodle pant, footsteps rustle, Camp Leader and Pigeon Post laugh]

DESCRIPTION: Leonardo, Doodle and Odo run past the chickens’ backs. Doodle and Odo hide behind a bush and discover Camp Leader and Pigeon Post already hiding there.

ODO: Camp Leader and Pigeon Post. You're already hiding here.

PIGEON POST: Plenty of room for everyone.

[Pigeon Post chuckles, chickens chatter in the background]

PIGEON POST: Doodle, thank you for saving me.

DOODLE: Odo, thank you for believing in my funny feeling.

[Chickens argue]

ODO: I have a funny feeling we're gonna be here for a long time if those chickens don't figure out how to count to ten.

[Everyone laughs]

JOE: Would you be quiet? I'm trying to concentrate!

ODO SHOUTS: Ten!

[Chickens cluck, Odo and Doodle laugh, everyone laughs, exciting music plays, thump]

DESCRIPTION: The chickens run back and forth across the clearing as the campers watch, with their heads poking out of their hiding spots. In the centre of the clearing, Joe, Flo, and Shirley run into each other and land in a pile.

[Upbeat music plays]
