[Bouncy theme music plays]

One red block with eyes has a numberling with the number One. Two, Three, Four, and Five run beside One.

The Numberblocks sing, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, NUMBERBLOCKS.

Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, and Ten jump.

The Numberblocks sing, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN, NUMBERBLOCKS. ONE AND ANOTHER ONE IS TWO, AND ANOTHER ONE IS…

[Chiming]

Two Ones combine and make Two. Another One jumps on the stack and makes Three.

Three sings, ME.

The Numberblocks sing, THAT’S THREE. FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE, TIME FOR SOME NUMBER FUN. YOU CAN COUNT ON US, WE'RE THE NUMBERBLOCKS.

[Chiming]

Title: "Number Blocks."

[Grunting, footsteps running, upbeat music plays, beeping, chiming]

In his base, Eight runs on a raised path to Octo-computer. On the computer screen, a red dot flashes on a map of the town.

Octo-computer announces, WARNING, NAUGHTY PERSON DETECTED. MISCHIEF UNDERWAY IN THE TOWN SQUARE.

[Whooshing, tense music plays]

On the screen, Octo-Naughty, who resembles Eight but wears a grey mask over their eyes, tiptoes in the Town Square.

In the base, Eight says, OCTONAUGHTY! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!

[Whooshing]

On the screen, Octo-Naughty approaches the camera in the square.

Octo-Naughty says, HA! OCTO-FLOP! I CAN'T HAVE YOU STOPPING MY BIGGEST, NAUGHTIEST PRANK EVER! SO I'M JAMMING YOUR SIGNAL.

[Squelching, Octo-Naughty laughing]

Octo-Naughty throws jam on the camera.

In his base, Eight asks, HOW CAN I TRACK THAT TROUBLEMAKER DOWN NOW?

Octo-computer says, I CAN PRINT YOU A COPY OF THE MAP.

[Printer clicking, beeping]

The Octo-computer prints the map, and Eight picks it up.

Eight says, THANK YOU, OCTOCOMPUTER. EXACTLY WHAT I NEED! HMM. REMIND ME AGAIN HOW A MAP WORKS.

Octo-computer says, IT SHOWS WHAT THE TOWN WOULD LOOK LIKE IF YOU WERE HIGH IN THE AIR, LOOKING DOWN AT IT.

Eight says, SO FROM UP ABOVE, THE TOWN SQUARE WOULD BE A BIG GREEN SQUARE. THERE'S A GREEN SQUARE HERE! BUT IT'S TINY.

Octo-computer says, THE MAP SHOWS THE WHOLE TOWN, SO EVERYTHING HAS TO BE DRAWN SMALL IN ORDER TO FIT.

[Heroic music plays]

Eight says, INGENIOUS! OCTO-NAUGHTY WON'T BE ABLE TO HIDE FROM ME NOW. TO THE TOWN SQUARE!

[Whooshing, tense music plays]

A number eight formed from a tentacle appears. On the map, the graphics on stores around the town square include a drink, a shoe, a yellow duck, a mug, a paintbrush and an artist’s palette.

Eight says, ACCORDING TO THE MAP, THE CLOCK TOWER IS ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE TOWN SQUARE.

[Gasping, hands slapping]

In the square, Eight lowers the map and looks at a store sign featuring a yellow duck. Eight wears an earpiece and stands in front of the clock tower. He puts two of his hands against the sides of his head.

Eight says, WHICH MEANS...THE CLOCK TOWER HAS VANISHED! OCTONAUGHTY HAS STOLEN THE CLOCK TOWER!

[Clock tower bell ringing]

Eight glances at the clock tower.

Eight says, OH.

Through the earpiece, Octo-computer says, YOU NEED TO LINE THE MAP UP FIRST. PICK SOMETHING OBVIOUS, LIKE THE CLOCK TOWER, AND TURN YOURSELF AROUND UNTIL THE MAP MATCHES WHAT YOU SEE.

[Slide whistle, tense music continues, map rustling]

Eight turns and faces the clock tower.

Eight says, THE CLOCK TOWER IS STRAIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, SO I MUST BE HERE ON THE MAP.

In a flashback, Octo-Naughty tiptoes with the clock tower, a bench, and the town square behind him.

Eight continues, WHEN OCTONAUGHTY WAS ON THE SCREEN EARLIER, WE SAW THE CLOCK TOWER AND THE TOWN SQUARE BEHIND HIM.

The flashback ends. In the square, Eight runs around the square and stands by the bench.

Eight continues, SO THAT MUST MEAN... WE WERE LOOKING IN THIS DIRECTION, WHERE WE CAN SEE THE TOWN SQUARE AND THE CLOCK TOWER.

[Beeping, whooshing, tapping]

On the map, an arrow points from Eight’s location to the clock tower. Eight taps the yellow duck graphic on the map.

Eight says, YES, JUST LIKE THAT, WHICH MEANS OCTONAUGHTY WAS HERE...BY THIS GIGANTIC RUBBER DUCK!

Through the earpiece, Octo-computer says, SOMETIMES, MAPS HAVE LITTLE SYMBOLS ON TO LET YOU KNOW WHAT THINGS ARE.

Eight says, OH... YES. THERE IS NO GIGANTIC RUBBER DUCK.

[Whooshing, slide whistle]

Octo-Naughty appears behind Eight, holding a yellow rubber duck toy and a device with a large dial beneath two arrows and an antenna.

Octo-Naughty says, THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG, OCTOFLOP! BEHOLD, MY RESIZING RAY!

[Squeaking, clicking, whooshing, creaking, Eight gasping, tense music continues]

Octo-Naughty throws the rubber duck on the ground and turns the dial to the right. A green beam from the resizing ray hits the duck, causing it to grow.

Octo-Naughty says, WA-HA-HA-HA! I'M GOING TO MAKE THE BIGGEST, SPLASHIEST BUBBLE BATH EVER IN TRIANGLE LAKE. NOTHING CAN STOP ME. BWA-HA-HA-HA!

[Octo-Naughty cackling, tapping, whooshing, Octo-Naughty grunting, thumping]

Octo-Naughty picks up the large rubber duck and carries it over his head as he runs down a road. He turns a corner, and the resizing ray falls onto the road. Octo-Naughty tries to run into an alley, but the rubber duck bounces off the sides of two buildings.

Eight says, THAT ALLEY'S TOO NARROW, OCTO-NAUGHTY!

Octo-Naughty says, DUCK!

[Squeaking]

Octo-Naughty throws the duck at Eight, and Eight dodges to the side.

Eight exclaims, WHOA! OH-OH-OH!

[Grunting, thumping, Octo-Naughty cackling, panting]

In the town square, Octo-Naughty catches the duck and runs down a different road.

Eight says, OH! I'LL NEVER CATCH UP WITH HIM NOW.

Through the earpiece, Octo-computer says, CHECK THE MAP. MAYBE YOU CAN FIND A SHORTCUT.

[Map rustling, blooping, whooshing, tapping, dinging]

Eight looks at the map. A pink dot shows Eight’s location, and a blue triangle appears in Triangle Park. A green dotted line indicates the route to the park on the road.

Eight says, LET'S SEE. I'M HERE, AND TRIANGLE LAKE IS IN TRIANGLE PARK HERE! THAT GIGANTIC DUCK CAN ONLY FIT THROUGH WIDE ROADS, SO OCTO-NAUGHTY NEEDS TO GO THE LONG WAY AROUND.

[Tapping, dinging, tense music continues]

A pink dotted line shows a shorter route on narrower roads.

Eight continues, BUT THIS ROUTE, THROUGH THE ALLEYS, IS SHORTER ON THE MAP, WHICH MEANS... IT'S SHORTER IN REAL LIFE, TOO! SO I NEED TO GO STRAIGHT AHEAD AND TURN LEFT INTO THAT ALLEY.

[Whooshing, action music plays, footsteps tapping]

Eight picks up the resizing ray. He looks at the map and walks on the road. The pink dotted line appears in the alley on the map.

Eight says, OH...THIS MIGHT COME IN HANDY. I NEED TO GO ALL THE WAY ALONG THE ALLEY AND THEN TURN LEFT!

[Brakes screeching, slide whistle]

Eight runs through the alley and stops. On the map, the dotted line moves to the next road.

Eight says, NOW GO ACROSS THE FIRST JUNCTION, AND AT THE SECOND JUNCTION TURN RIGHT!

[Brakes screeching, slide whistle, tapping]

Eight runs down the road and stops. The line on the map extends to the park.

Eight says, AND THEN STRAIGHT ON...TO JUSTICE!

[Number Blobs laughing, gasping]

In Triangle Park, Number Blobs scatter as Octo-Naughty arrives with the large rubber duck.

Octo-Naughty says, SOON, EVERYONE WILL BE WET AND COVERED IN BUBBLES!

[Octo-Naughty cackling]

Eight says, THAT'S FAR ENOUGH, OCTONAUGHTY!

[Clicking]

Eight turns the dial on the resizing ray to the right.

Octo-Naughty says, OH, BOTHER.

[Whooshing, thumping, Octo-Naughty grunting, muffled speaking]

The rubber duck grows, and Octo-Naughty falls beneath it.

[The music stops]

Eight says, I WONDER WHAT HAPPENS IF I TURN IT THE OTHER WAY.

[Clicking, whooshing]

Eight turns the dial to the left. Later, he holds the small rubber duck.

Eight says, THERE! BACK TO NORMAL SIZE.

[Light music plays, tapping]

Eight also holds a glass jar with a tiny Octo-Naughty inside. Octo-Naughty bangs on the side of the jar.

In a high-pitched voice, Octo-Naughty says, HEY! WHAT ABOUT ME?!

Eight says, MAYBE LATER, OCTO-NAUGHTY. FOR NOW, I LIKE KNOWING EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE.

[Bouncy theme music plays]
