A narrator says, IT'S THE LATE CRUNCHIEST PERIOD. WHEN THE WORLD WAS DOMINATED BY THE JUICIEST AND FRESHEST CREATURES EVER TO RULE THE PLANET-- THE MIGHTY VEGESAURS.

Title: “Vegesaurs.”

Created by Gary Eck and Nick O’Sullivan.

Ginger, an orange tricarrotops, stands on a cliff top. Wasabi, Minty, and Split, three baby pea-rexes, ride on her head.

[Chiming, gentle music plays]

At night, the pea-rexes sit at Ginger’s feet, and they all gaze at the orange, red, and blue light in the sky.

Ginger says, WHOA! HOW BRIGHT ARE THE STARS TONIGHT? IT'S LIKE A BIG, SPARKLING LAVA STREAM.

[Flapping]

A silhouette flies between the vegesaurs and the bright stars.

Ginger says, HUH? NOW, I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING. WHAT WAS THAT?

[Chattering, whimpering, flapping, whooshing]

A small bokchoydactyl flies in circles over Ginger and the pea-rexes.

The narrator says, IT'S A YOUNG BOKCHOYDACTYL UNUSUALLY FLYING AT NIGHT.

Ginger says, HEY! YOU'RE IN THE WAY OF THE STARS! WHY DON'T YOU COME DOWN AND LOOK AT THEM WITH US?

The bokchoydactyl says, GAH!

Ginger says, DO YOU NEED HELP GETTING DOWN?

[Whimpering, light music plays]

The narrator explains, BOKCHOYDACTYLS HAVE TERRIBLE NIGHT VISION.

[Whimpering, flapping, Split gasping]

Ginger says, IF IT WAS BRIGHTER DOWN HERE, MAYBE IT COULD SEE BETTER AND BE ABLE TO LAND.

[Chiming, chirping]

Ginger watches a shooting star.

Ginger says, WHAT WE NEED ARE GROUND STARS! HMM.

[Rustling]

A small vegesaur with a glowing red light on their back skitters behind Ginger.

Ginger says, OOH! DON'T WORRY! I KNOW HOW WE CAN HELP GUIDE YOU DOWN!

[Flapping, bokchoydactyl whimpering, rustling, upbeat music plays]

Ginger says, DON'T LET THAT LIGHT GET AWAY!

[Skittering]

Minty picks up a leaf and chases the glowing vegesaur.

The narrator says, A CHILIPEDE, THIS SPICY VEGESAUR SHEDS ITS EXCESS BODY HEAT WHICH CAUSES ITS SKIN TO GLOW.

Minty puts the leaf in the glowing vegesaur’s, the chilipede’s, way, and they change direction. Minty herds the chilipede back to a clearing.

Ginger says, HMM. WE'RE GOING TO NEED MORE LIGHT. MINTY, WE NEED YOU TO ROUND UP AS MANY OF THOSE AS YOU CAN.

[Rustling]

Minty waves the leaf in front of the chilipede, and they stand still as a second chilipede skitters past.

Minty says, YEAH!

[Chattering, rustling, Minty grumbling]

Minty stands the leaf up on the ground in front of the first chilipede, and they turn. Minty runs back, and the chilipede turns towards the leaf.

Ginger says, EH! HMM. WHAT ELSE GLOWS IN THE DARK?

[Buzzing, flapping, Ginger gasping]

A glowing appleflyus flutters past Ginger, Wasabi, and Split.

Ginger says, PERFECT!

[Buzzing, flapping]

The narrator says, THE APPLEFLYUS POLLINATES AT NIGHT, SO AFTER SUNDOWN, THEY'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR BLOOMS.

Ginger says, SPLIT, WE NEED YOU TO ROUND UP AS MANY OF THOSE AS YOU CAN.

[Split chattering, giggling, upbeat music plays, buzzing, flapping, skittering]

Split picks a flower, and the appleflyus chases them. Nearby, Minty leads three chilipedes towards the clearing.

Ginger asks, YOU OKAY UP THERE?

[Bokchoydactyl shouting, gentle music plays]

The narrator says, THIS YOUNG BOK IS GETTING TIRED AND WILL NEED TO LAND SOON.

[Minty giggling, Split humming, buzzing, flapping, upbeat music plays]

Minty and Split gather chilipedes and appleflyus.

Ginger says, IT'S A START, BUT WE'RE STILL GOING TO NEED MORE LIGHT.

[Pineapplesaur grunting]

Ginger looks at a passing pineapplesaur.

Ginger says, YES! I KNOW THE PERFECT PLACE TO LAND! MINTY, SPLIT, FOLLOW ME! AND YOU FOLLOW US FOLLOWING THEM.

Pineapplesaurs walk on a path away from Ginger and the pea-rexes.

[Wasabi chattering]

Ginger says, DON'T WORRY, WASABI. I'VE GOT A REALLY IMPORTANT JOB FOR YOU.

[Minty chattering, skittering, buzzing, bokchoydactyl panting, upbeat music plays]

Ginger and Wasabi follow the pineapplesaurs. Minty and Split lead their vegesaurs behind them. The bokchoydactyl flies above them. In a clearing, six pineapplesaurs lie in a circle, with their heads in the centre.

The narrator says, PINEAPPLESAURS LIKE TO SLEEP IN A COZY CIRCLE.

Ginger says, MINTY, SPLIT, MAKE A PATH! WASABI, LET'S ROCK AND ROLL.

[Wasabi giggling, skittering, buzzing, flapping]

Wasabi rides on Ginger’s head as she runs forward. Behind her, the chilipedes stand in a row. The appleflyus follows Split and the flower.

Ginger says, LET'S LIGHT THEM UP.

[Giggling, thumping]

Ginger jumps on the pineapplesaurs’ backs, which glow when she lands.

Ginger says, FOLLOW THE LIGHTS AND LAND IN THE CIRCLE!

[Flapping, upbeat music plays]

The bokchoydactyl swoops towards the ground.

The narrator says, THE NOCTURNAL LIGHT SHOW HAS CREATED A PERFECT LANDING STRIP.

[Giggling, thumping, skittering, flapping]

The bokchoydactyl flies between the lines of appleflyus and chilipedes and lands in the centre of the ineapplesaur circle. The chilipedes skitter away. Split drops the flower, and the appleflyus fly to it. The pea-rexes run to the bokchoydactyl.

Ginger says, NICE LANDING! WHAT A STAR.

[Wasabi chattering, music stops]

Wasabi bows.

Ginger says, I WAS TALKING TO OUR NEW FRIEND.

[Laughing, pineapplesaurs grumbling, footsteps pattering]

The pineapplesaurs stand, and the other vegesaurs back away.

Ginger says, UH, YOU'RE ALL STARS!

[Pineapplesaurs grumbling, rustling, squeaking]

The pineapplesaur lies down.

Ginger says, SPEAKING OF STARS, WHERE WERE WE?

[Chiming, gentle music plays]

Ginger, the pea-rexes, and the bokchoydactyl gaze at the stars. A shooting star flies across the sky.

Ginger says, NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A LIGHT SHOW.

[Upbeat music plays]
