Meanwhile the trainees are playing hide and seek in Old Town. Brewster hides in a shed. When he emerges, he's covered in bits of old junk. Koko and Wilson think it's funny! When they get back to the depot, Pete notices the things stuck to Brewster and remembers that there used to be a spare parts shed in the Old Town. A convoy heads out. They find the shed, but the part Pete needs isn't there. The gloomy group head back to the depot. On the way home Brewster tries to cheer Pete up by pointing out some beautiful flowers on a platform. Pete takes a look and gasps. The flowers are planted in an old firebox just like Pete's! Morgan retrieves it, and before long Pete is happily puffing along under his own steam again.

But it turns out they weren't the only ones who learned something from the movie. The Rachels, AKA the Copycats, have taken the form of the movie monsters in order to scare everyone out of Greenville and turn it into their own skatepark. On a class field trip, Brad finds that he is too afraid to go into the petting zoo, worried there might be scary animals in there that will touch him. Not wanting their friend to miss out on all the fun, Xavier and Yadina take him... to the Secret Museum! Our heroes travel back in time to meet Eugenie Clark, an ichthyologist who studies sharks. While some people find sharks frightening, Eugenie is fascinated by them and wants to learn all she can. After she introduces our kids to a pair of lemon sharks that she's been working with and answers their questions about them, Brad is surprised to find his own feelings of fear melting away. He decides to use the same tactic back home, where he asks the zookeeper some questions about the animals inside the petting zoo until he feels confident enough to go in, because asking questions can help you feel less afraid.

When Yadina is stumped trying to solve a particularly difficult riddle, she tries to get the answer from Xavier, but he doesn't want to just give her the answer. She has to earn it. Hoping for an easier way, Yadina heads... to the Secret Museum! Our heroes travel back in time to meet Benjamin Banneker, who's also trying to solve a riddle that his mother gave him. Yadina suggests he just ask his mom for the answer, but Benjamin is determined to solve it on his own, just like he's determined to build a clock on his own later in life. When Benjamin overcomes each challenge, seeing the amazing feeling that washes over him inspires Yadina to go home and keep working on that riddle until she solves it herself, because overcoming a challenge can make you feel proud.

Phenix is an 8-year-old Mi'kmaq boy from Gesgapegiag, Quebec. He helps out at his grandparents' sugar shack making maple syrup from sap and he shows us how it's done. It can take up to 45 buckets of maple sap to make just one bucket of syrup, so it's hard work! He also shows us all the delicious candies and treats that are made from the syrup. In the summer, Phenix barrel races with his horse, Paris. In barrel racing, you ride as quickly as you can around standing barrels, and the horse and rider with the fastest time wins. In the winter, Phenix and Paris give sleigh rides to his friends. He also has a pet cat named Max. Phenix loves to play soccer with his friend, Caleb. In their town, there is a special church shaped like a gigantic teepee. Inside the church is a small museum that has pictures and artifacts from Phenix's family!

Interstellar Ella
Slippy heard a rumour that the abandoned outpost the gang plans to visit is haunted so he brings his ghost detector goggles, just in case! Ella assures him that there are no such things as ghosts, but then odd things begin to happen. Maggie speaks gibberish, objects levitate, and suddenly Glitch is lifted off the ground. Ella knows there has to be a reasonable explanation. When Slippy tweaks his goggles to pick up magnetic fields, the answer becomes clear. It's a magnetic star! Mystery solved! Then, Madhu is excited to celebrate the anniversary of the day they all met. But Ella and Slippy say they can't hang out and send Madhu off with Maggie. Madhu finds the rock where they met and realises it's hurtling towards Uranus. Madhu thinks like Ella to save the rock but that fails. Then Madhu thinks like Slippy, but that doesn't work either. Ella and Slippy arrive to find Madhu in quite the pickle. It's when Madhu thinks like Madhu that a solution is found and the rock is saved. Time for a friendiversary party!

Ginger and the baby Pea-Rexes discover the lake has become a strange 'spa bubble bath'. The narrator informs us recent volcanic activity has caused underwater thermal vents to open up. The water is too warm for the Cucumberdiles who prefer cool water and have banked themselves. But the water is the perfect temperature for Ginger and the Peas who go for a carefree and super fun swim playing in the warm bubbles. But the water seems to be getting warmer. Ginger realises if the lake stays like this the Cucumberdiles won't have a place to live. They have to find the source of the heat and bubbles. Ginger takes a big breath and dives down with the Peas on her tail. Tricarrotops can hold their breath for up to 20 minutes due to their large lungs and Pea Rexes being all mouth - they can hold their breath for extended periods of time. Down below it's too dark to see anything...until...Minty spots a tiny light. They approach and when they get near the light grows much brighter and we see that it is a bioluminescent algae, which thrives in warm water conditions. It's an amazing and beautiful sight. But there is another added benefit - Ginger can now see the source of the heat and bubbles - a large underwater vent has opened up, spewing hot gassy bubbles. Ginger has an idea, but she'll need the help of the mighty Watermelonsuchus!
