The heavy-footed Jogalong is very competitive and ends up running over the edge of a cliff but B.O.T. manages to collect the required data for the beastie as it falls. With the mission complete, B.O.T.'s nose glows green and the portal opens up. All data collected for the Speedy Jogalong!

Ginger and the baby Pea Rexes decide to have a race around Vegesaur Valley. First one to do a full lap and cross the line wins. But Ginger forgets to make some rules and Pea-Rexes use that to their advantage. They wrangle some Chillipedes and hitch a ride on top of them, racing the Chillipedes like Roman Chariots and quickly storm ahead of Ginger. Ginger can play by the no rules rule too. She scores a lift on a friendly Coconutdon, storming past them. Coconutdons are extremely fast runners and can leap long distances. The Pea-Rexes catch a ride with their friend the baby BokChoydactyl and start to gain on Ginger. The friends are neck and neck as they approach the finish line. Ginger and the Pea-Rexes are launched into the waterhole and land at the same time, making it a draw!

The kittens are delighted and immediately want to plant a lot of trees to make their favorite clearing look like before. The kittens return home and plant various seeds in pots, but the trees are taking a very long time to grow.

That's when Oleander comes in with Davey and Abigail, all dressed as superheroes and ready to play, which cheers Sally up! But now Davey sees an ad in the comic for Talking Plants from Venus and thinks they're real - but it's just malarkey!

He and Crat try to get it back, but the chipmunks manage to bamboozle them again and steal more of their stuff. Crat decides the only way to get their stuff back is to bamboozle the bamboozlers. They set a trap for the chipmunks with a whistle and while Cris plays along with them Crat sneaks into their burrow and snatches their stuff back. Excited to have his boombox back Cris presses play only nothing happens. He checks the back of it and discovers there's no batteries. Bamboozled again!
