Transcript: Pups Save Little Grandpa and Mr. Alex
PAW Patrol Season 10
[Rock music plays]
Description: In an animation, the pups run into their pup houses at the base of the Lookout. The PAW Patrol, Carlos, and Tracker emerge from a cave, and a crack in the ground opens, bubbling with lava directly in front of them. They drive their vehicles to the edge of a cliff where three monkeys wait.
[Theme song] PAW Patrol, PAW Patrol, we'll be there on the double. Whenever there's a problem 'round Adventure Bay, Ryder and his team of pups will come and save the day.
Description: At the Lookout, Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, and Skye slide down the slide to their vehicles. Ryder drives his ATV and leads the pups away from the Lookout. On top of a rocky outcropping, Alex dodges a swooping pterodactyl and throws a pale blue egg to Marshall. Marshall catches the egg and bounces down his fire truck ladder. At the bottom, a baby pterodactyl hatches and hugs him. Chase deploys a net beneath Alex and catches him. Ryder gives the PAW Patrol dog treats.

Description: Rubble launches two tennis balls towards Chase, who wears Rubble’s yellow construction hat and his yellow pup pack.
Chase: Shovel.
[Whirring]
Description: The shovel extends from Rubble’s pup pack.
Chase: Chase is on the double.
[Slide whistle, thunk, Rocky giggles]
Description: Chase catches the balls in the shovel as Rocky and Zuma watch.
Rocky: Cool. I can't wait to play trading places today, either.
[Marshall barks]
Description: Nearby, Marshall wears Skye’s pink hat, goggles, and pup pack, and Skye wears Marshall’s red fire hat and pup pack.
Marshall: Wings.
[Whirring]
Description: The wings extend from Skye’s pup pack, and Marshall flies.
Marshall: Whoa, whoa, whoa!
[Whooshing]
Description: Ryder arrives as Marshall flies in circles.
Marshall: Whoa! Who are you trading places with, Ryder? Whoa!
[Whooshing, slide whistle, thump, the music stops]
Description: Marshall flies upside down, and the wings fold back into the pup pack. He falls, and Ryder catches him.
Ryder: Looks like I'm trading places with Chase's net.
[Pups laugh, whoosh, light music plays, chair scrapes]
Description: The PAW Patrol badge spins. In town, in Porter’s Café, Alex pushes a chair to a counter. He climbs onto it, picks up a spoon from a bowl of blue icing, then paints a blue moustache under his nose with his right index finger. Alex sucks the icing off his finger and smiles.
Alex: Mmm. Icing.
[Spoon clinks, door bangs, footsteps tap, upbeat music plays]
Description: Alex drops the spoon and runs out of the kitchen. He runs into the serving area, where Mr. Porter relaxes at a table, gazing at his smartphone.
Alex: Grandpa, do you know what today is?
[Mr. Porter laughs]
Mr. Porter: Wear your dessert on your face day?
[Alex chuckles]
Alex: No. It's trading places day. So today, I'm Mr. Alex, and you're Little Grandpa.
Mr. Porter: Is that so?
[Tapping, whoosh, footsteps tap]
Description: Mr. Porter taps his fingers on the tabletop with his left hand. Alex picks up his chicken-shaped bike helmet from a chair and hands it to Mr. Porter.
Alex: Yep. Which means today, I'll be running the café and you'll be in charge of the Mini Patrol.
Mr. Porter: Trading places, huh? Sounds like fun.
Alex: Yay!
[The music stops]
Description: Mr. Porter holds up a brown smartphone with blue and green stars on the back.
Mr. Porter: This is the café phone. I'll keep my personal phone on me, and if you have an emergency, you can always call me.
[Alex gasps, rustling]
Description: Mr. Porter gives Alex the café phone, and Alex puts it in his pocket.
Alex: My own phone? Thanks.
Mr. Porter: Just for this morning. I'll use my spare one to check in on you. And how do I handle the Mini Patrol?
[Bell rings, the music stops]
Description: Alex imitates ringing a bell.
Alex: It'll be so easy, Little Grandpa. Just ring the bell, and they'll show up and do what you say.
[Footsteps tap]
Description: Mr. Porter pats the helmet, then carries it to the café door.
Mr. Porter: All right. I'll give it a try.
[Door bangs, phone rings]
Description: Mr. Porter leaves the café and the phone rings right away.
[Tense music plays]
Mr. Porter: Alex? Is everything okay?
Alex: It's great, but I forgot to tell you that Little Grandpa's supposed to ride my trike.
[Mr. Porter chuckles]
Mr. Porter: You got it, Mr. Alex.
[Beep, trike rattles]
Description: Mr. Porter puts on the helmet and walks to Alex’s wooden trike. He sits down and pedals forward. Mr. Porter rides to a tree with handholds and an attached slide. He rides in circles, then stops.
Mr. Porter: Hmm. Vroom-vroom! Huh? Whoa. Phew.
[Thump, creaking, hatch door thuds, Mr. Porter grunts, light music plays]
Description: Mr. Porter stands, then climbs the tree using the handholds. In the treehouse, he kneels and looks around.
Mr. Porter: Hello? Mini Patrol?
[Bell rings, Chickaletta clucks, tense music plays]
Description: The Mini Patrol, Callie, Squeak, Hootie, Bunny, Turtle and Chickaletta, assemble on top of the hatch door.
Mr. Porter [slowed]: Hello there, Mini...
[Clucking, yowl, flapping, slide whistle, exciting music plays]
Description: The Mini Patrol looks at Mr. Porter, panics, and flees down the slide.
Mr. Porter: Patrollers?
[Yowling, clucking, wheels squeak]
Description: Callie, Squeak, Bunny, Turtle and Chickaletta land in the trike, and Callie steers it away from the treehouse. Hootie follows behind them. Callie stops the trike, and everyone scatters.
Mr. Porter: Uh-oh. I'd better stop them.
Description: Mr. Porter slides down the slide.
Mr. Porter: Whee!
[Clang, tense music plays]
Description: On the last third of the slide, Mr. Porter’s bottom falls through.
Mr. Porter: Oh. Oh, dear.
[Mr. Porter grunts, squeaking]
Description: Mr. Porter tries to pull himself out of the slide and kicks his feet. He takes out his smartphone.
Mr. Porter: It's not easy being Alex. I'd better call Ryder.
[Whooshing, thump, hands slapping, upbeat music plays]
Description: The PAW Patrol badge spins. At the Lookout, Ryder puts the pup beds on the grass and wipes his hands together.
Ryder: Now that you've tried trading packs and vests, how about trading pup beds?
[Whooshing]
Description: Rocky runs and rolls across Rubble’s thick mattress.
Rocky: Can I trade with Rubble? His bed is so nice and fluffy.
Rubble: I don't think you'll like it one bit.
[Rubble giggles, the music stops]
Ryder: I guess you pups don't want to trade everything.
[Pup-pad rings, beep]
Description: Ryder activates his pup-pad, and Mr. Porter appears on the screen.
Ryder: Hi, Mr. Porter. Happy trading places day.
Mr. Porter: It was until Little Grandpa...
[Clears his throat, light music plays, whooshing]
Description: Mr. Porter lays his hand on his chest, then shows his bottom and back poking through the slide.
Mr. Porter: Me, got stuck on Mr. Alex's slide and the Mini Patrol got startled and ran off. I'm worried they may get into trouble or get hurt.
[Upbeat music plays]
Ryder: We're on it, Mr. Porter. No Little Grandpa is too stuck. No pup is too small.
[Beeping]
Description: Ryder pushes a button on his pup-pad and Chase, Rubble, and Marshall’s pup tags light up.
Ryder: PAW Patrol, to the Lookout.
Chase, Rubble, and Marshall: Ryder needs us.
Description: Marshall leaps over Rubble’s pup bed as he runs towards the Lookout.
Marshall: Hey. Looks like this trading idea is really working out for me.
[Whoosh]
Description: Marshall enters the empty elevator and looks around.
Marshall: Oh, right. That means—
[Slide whistle]
Description: Rocky, Zuma, and Chase tumble towards the elevator as Rubble and Skye slide behind them.
Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma, and Chase: Whoa!
[Thud, doors whirr]
Description: The pups lie in a pile as the elevator doors close.
Skye: It's fun being Marshall.
[Pups laugh, elevator bell dings, upbeat music continues]
Description: The elevator rises, and the pups pause behind the PAW Patrol badge, change into their uniforms, and continue to the observation deck. They exit the elevator and stand side by side.
Chase: PAW Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir.
Rubble: And back in our regular gear.
[Pup-pad beeps, whirring, trike wheels squeak, Mr. Porter shouts]
Description: Ryder pushes a button on his pup-pad, and a large screen lowers over a window, featuring Mr. Porter stuck on the slide and the Mini Patrol in the trike.
Ryder: Thanks, pups. We need you doing what you do best for this rescue. The Mini Patrol has rolled away on Alex's trike, and poor Mr. Porter is stuck on a broken slide. So, for this mission, I'll need Skye.
[Whoosh, beep]
Description: Skye’s pink-and-white pup tag and helicopter appear on the large screen.
Ryder: Use your copter to find the missing Mini Patrollers.
[Skye barks]
Description: Skye backflips.
Skye: Let's take to the sky.
[Whoosh, beep]
Description: Rocky’s green-and-white pup tag and tools appear on the screen.
Ryder: And Rocky. I need you to use your tools to help free Mr. Porter and fix the slide.
Rocky: Green means go.
[Upbeat music plays]
Ryder: All right. PAW Patrol is on a roll.
[Barking, howling]
Description: Ryder slides down the Lookout fire pole.
[Song] PAW Patrol. Go, go, go. Go, go, go, go, go, go.
[Skye barks, laughs]
Description: Skye flips onto the slide wrapped around the Lookout.
[Song] PAW Patrol, go, go, go, go.
Skye: Woo-hoo!
[Rocky barks]
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go.
Description: Rocky wiggles his bottom, then jumps on the slide. He uses his hind right leg to scratch behind his ear as he slides down.
[Rocky howls, whirring, whooshing, Skye laughs, whirring, clicking]
Description: Skye’s pup house lines up with the bottom of the slide. She lands inside, and it transforms into her helicopter.
[Song] Skye. Go, go, go, go, go, go. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. PAW Patrol. Go, go, go, go, go, go. Go, go, go, go.
[Whirring, whooshing, whirring, clicking]
Description: Rocky’s pup house lines up with the bottom of the slide. He lands inside, and it transforms into his recycling truck.
[Song] Rocky. Go, go, go, go, go, go Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. PAW Patrol, PAW Patrol.
[Engine revs, tires screech, whooshing, engines rumble, upbeat music plays]
Description: Ryder jumps onto his ATV and zooms out of the Lookout garage wearing a helmet. Rocky and Skye follow him down the driveway. Rocky drives his recycling truck, and Skye flies her helicopter. Later, Ryder and Rocky stop at Porter’s Café.
Mr. Porter: Ryder, Rocky, over here.
[Bang, paws screeching]
Description: Rocky climbs up to the treehouse, then slides down the slide, stopping just above Mr. Porter.
Rocky: We'll get you out.
[Rocky barks]
Rocky: Extender.
[Whirring, creaking, the music stops]
Description: Rocky’s extender picks up Mr. Porter and puts him on the ground in front of Ryder. Mr. Porter rubs his lower back.
Mr. Porter: Thanks. That was kind of embarrassing.
Ryder: It's okay, Mr. Porter.
[Whirring]
Description: Rocky looks at the hole in the slide.
Rocky: Hmm.
[Rocky gasps]
Rocky: I have just the right piece to fix that.
[Clanking, whirring, clattering]
Description: Rocky jumps over the hole and slides down the slide. He runs to his truck, opens the back, and jumps in.
Rocky: Don't lose it. Reuse it. This old cookie sheet's perfect.
[Whirring, clank]
Description: Rocky puts a round metal cookie sheet over the hole.
Rocky: It fits.
[Whirring, Rocky barks]
Description: The extender folds back into Rocky’s pup pack.
[The music stops]
Rocky: Hammer.
[Whirring, hammer bangs, serious music plays]
Description: A hammer extends from the pup pack, and Rocky hammers the cookie tray into place.
Mr. Porter: I just hope none of those Mini Patrollers got lost or hurt.
Ryder: We'll find them. Skye's searching now. She'll pup-tag as soon as she sees something.
[Yowling, whirring]
Rocky: Huh? Hey, look.
[Grass rustles]
Description: Rocky jumps off the slide. Beside the café, Callie lies between two bushes.
Rocky: It's Callie.
[Callie meows]
Description: Callie puts her head down and closes her eyes. Mr. Porter takes off the bike helmet and sets it on the grass.
Mr. Porter: I can't believe Callie was here all along. At least we found one.
Ryder: Yep. Only five more to go.
[Smartphone rustles]
Mr. Porter: We'll just keep looking. But I should check on Mr. Alex first.
[The music stops, pudding squelches, phone rings, spoon clinks, phone beeps]
Description: In the café, Alex stands on a chair at the counter and stirs pink pudding in a large bowl. Alex answers his smartphone and waves at the screen.
[Light music plays]
Alex: Hi, Little Grandpa. Guess what? Mr. Alex is going to make your famous no-cook pudding. Is that okay?
Description: Mr. Porter appears on Alex’s screen.
Mr. Porter: Of course. Just be careful.
Alex: I will. How's the Mini Patrol?
Description: Mr. Porter appears on the screen.
Mr. Porter: They're, uh-- Alex, we're going to have to open the café soon. Please don't make a mess with that pudding.
Alex: I won't. Bye, Little Grandpa.
[Beep, serious music plays]
Description: Alex waves and ends the call. He looks at the ingredients on the counter.
Alex: Let's see. Milk, sugar. Hmm. What else?
[Clink]
Description: Alex picks up a canister with a picture of bread on the side.
Alex: Yeast? Yeah, that's it. Grandpa uses yeast all the time.
[Yeast rustles]
Description: Alex pours the yeast into the pudding, and it rises.
Alex: Pretty cool, Mr. Alex.
[Pudding squelches, rotor blades thump]
Description: Outside, Skye flies past fluffy white clouds.
Skye: Now, where is that Mini Patrol?
[Hootie hoots, wings flap]
Description: Skye flies to Hootie.
Skye: It's Hootie. Wait. Are you okay?
[Hootie hoots, wings flap]
Description: Hootie flaps his wings and looks at Skye.
Skye: Just stay there. I'll help you.
[Hootie hoots, slide whistle]
Description: Skye flies below Hootie, who drops onto the seat beside her.
Skye: There you go.
[Beep, Hootie hoots]
Skye: Ryder, I found Hootie.
Ryder, over the radio: Great. And we just found Callie. Two down, one more to go.
[Rotor blades thump, Skye gasps]
Description: Skye swoops low over a playground and notices Squeak sitting on the seat of a seesaw.
Skye: Ryder, I found Squeak.
[Boings]
Description: Bunny hops past Squeak.
Skye: And Bunny. Four down, two to go.
[Boing, suspenseful music plays, boing, slide whistle]
Description: Bunny jumps onto the other side of the seesaw, and Squeak flies up.
Skye: Oh, no.
[Skye barks]
Skye: Basket.
[Rotor blades thump, Squeak squeaks, upbeat music plays]
Description: Skye catches Squeak in a basket.
[The music stops]
Skye: Phew. Close call, Squeak.
[Squeak squeaks, upbeat music plays, engines rumble]
Description: By the café, Turtle walks on the sidewalk past a tree bed; and on the other side, Mr. Porter jogs in the opposite direction beside Ryder’s ATV and Rocky’s truck.
Ryder: Nice work, Skye. Now, all we need to find is Turtle and Chickaletta.
Description: Mayor Goodway stands on the sidewalk, and everyone stops.
Mayor Goodway: Ryder, did you say you're looking for Chickaletta, too? I checked inside my purse to say hello and found one of Mayor Humdinger's kitties instead.
[Cat Rocky meows]
Description: Cat Rocky pokes his head out of Mayor Goodway’s red purse.
Mayor Goodway: Where could Chickie-Poo have gone?
[The music stops]
Ryder: Don't worry, Mayor Goodway. I'll put more pup power into this search.
[Beep]
Description: Ryder pushes a button on the pup-pad on his dashboard.
Ryder: Spy Chase, we need you and your drone.
[Upbeat music plays]
Description: Chase appears on the pup-pad screen.
Chase: Spy Chase is on the case.
[Pudding squelches]
Description: In the café, Alex holds the bulging pink pudding.
Alex: Um, I don't think pudding's supposed to get this big.
[Pudding squelches]
Description: The pudding falls out of the bowl and continues growing. The bowl disappears into the pudding.
Alex: This pudding's not so cool anymore.
[Pudding squelches, bloop]
Description: Alex pokes the pudding with a broom, and it disappears into the pink goo. He backs away from the giant pudding.
Alex: It's not easy being Grandpa.
[Siren wails, tires screech, upbeat music plays]
Description: Chase arrives outside and stops in front of Ryder. He hops onto the back of his vehicle, and Mayor Goodway walks to him.
Chase: Let's find some Minis.
[Chase barks, upbeat music notes play]
Chase: Drone.
[Whirring, whoosh, tense music plays]
Description: Chase launches the drone and finds a feather.
Chase: Huh? A feather?
Description: Mayor Humdinger, who has the feather on top of his hat, looks up at the drone and waves his hand at it.
Mayor Humdinger: Shoo.
Chase: That looks like...
Mayor Goodway: Mayor Humdinger?
[Whoosh, tires screech]
Description: Chase hops into his police vehicle.
Chase: We'd better check it out.
[Siren wails]
Description: Ryder and Rocky follow Chase around a corner while Mayor Goodway and Mr. Porter run beside them on the sidewalk. In the town square, Mayor Humdinger leans towards a bush.
Mayor Humdinger: Kitty? Where are you, Kitty?
[Tires screech]
Description: Mayor Goodway carries Cat Rocky in her purse.
Mayor Goodway: Right here, Mayor Humdinger. But I still can't find my Chickaletta.
[Energetic music plays]
Description: Mayor Humdinger grabs Cat Rocky.
Mayor Humdinger: Never mind that. Hand over my kitty-witty.
[Clucking, Mayor Goodway gasps, the music stops]
Description: A feather falls from Mayor Humdinger’s hat.
Mayor Goodway: Oh! I'd know that "bawka-bawka" anywhere.
[Clucking, upbeat music plays, thump]
Description: Mayor Humdinger takes off his hat, and Chickaletta stands on his head. She takes off and lands in Mayor Goodway’s purse.
Mayor Humdinger: Oh, yuck. Now, my hat's going to smell like chicken.
Chase: Chickaletta and the kitty were trading places, too.
Mr. Porter: Only one left to find is Turtle.
Ryder: Luckily, Turtle isn't very fast. He couldn't have gone far.
Mr. Porter: I hope not. Meet me at the café once you find him. I've got to open up.
[Whoosh]
Description: Mr. Porter runs towards the café, where Francois and Cap’n Turbot stand outside.
Cap’n Turbot: Happy trading places day, Francois.
Francois: Trading is terrifically, terribly tough.
[Francois sighs]
Description: Francois’s shoulders sag.
Francois: Speaking like you is so hard, Horatio.
[Whoosh]
Description: Mr. Porter arrives and gestures at the café doors.
Mr. Porter: Welcome, Turbots. Come on in.
[Door opens]
Description: Mr. Porter leads Cap’n Turbot and Francois into the café. Cap’n Turbot lifts his hat as he passes Mr. Porter, then puts it back on.
Cap’n Turbot: Thanks, Monsieur Porter.
[Slide whistle]
Description: In the café, Turtle walks around a corner.
Cap’n Turbot: I am, how you say, famished.
Francois: Look out for the, uh, precarious pile of p-p-pink pudding!
[Dramatic music plays, pudding squelches]
Description: Cap’n Turbot slips on pudding and slides across the room.
Cap’n Turbot: Huh? Whoa.
Description: Ryder, Chase, and Rocky run into the café.
Cap’n Turbot: Whoa!
[Upbeat music plays]
Chase: I'll stop you.
[Chase barks]
Chase: Net.
[Whirring, boing]
Description: The launcher extends from Chase’s pup pack, and he launches the net in front of Cap’n Turbot.
Cap’n Turbot: Whoa!

Description: Cap’n Turbot lands on hit and sits up.
[Light music plays]
Cap’n Turbot: Phew. Thanks, Chase. Oh, I mean, "mercy boo-cou."
Francois: Ptoo. Your accent sounds like you're imitating Chickaletta.
[Mr. Porter sighs]
Mr. Porter: My café is covered in pudding. How am I ever going to clean this place up?
Rocky: We can help with that.
[Whoosh, Rocky barks]
Description: Rocky jumps closer to the piles of pudding.
Rocky: Vacuum.
[Whirring, whooshing, floor chimes, upbeat music plays]
Description: A vacuum extends from Rocky’s pup pack, and he vacuums the pudding off the floor. The PAW Patrol badge spins. Later, the café floor gleams beneath Mr. Porter, Alex, Callie, Hootie, Chickaletta, Bunny, Squeak, Ryder, Francois, Cap’n Turbot, and Rocky.
Mr. Porter: The café is spotless, and my floor is gleaming. Thanks for your help, PAW Patrol.
Ryder: You're welcome. Whenever trading places goes the wrong way, just yelp for help.
[Footsteps tap]
Description: Chase arrives carrying Turtle on his helmet.
Chase: And look who I found: the last missing member of the Mini Patrol.
Alex: Aw, Turtle.
[Slide whistle]
Description: Chase leans over and Turtle slides into Alex’s hands.
Alex: That was a trading places day Mr. Alex will never forget.
Francois: The PAW Patrol turned a precarious pudding and a missing Mini Patrol into a successful save. Hey! I did it.

The PAW Patrol, Carlos, and Tracker emerge from a cave, and a crack in the ground opens, bubbling with lava directly in front of them. They drive their vehicles to the edge of a cliff where three monkeys wait.

Description: At the Lookout, Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, and Skye slide down the slide to their vehicles. Ryder drives his ATV and leads the pups away from the Lookout. On top of a rocky outcropping, Alex dodges a swooping pterodactyl and throws a pale blue egg to Marshall. Marshall catches the egg and bounces down his fire truck ladder. At the bottom, a baby pterodactyl hatches and hugs him. Chase deploys a net beneath Alex and catches him. Ryder gives the PAW Patrol dog treats.

Description: The wings extend from Skye’s pup pack, and Marshall flies.
Marshall: Whoa, whoa, whoa!
[Whooshing]
Description: Ryder arrives as Marshall flies in circles.
Marshall: Whoa! Who are you trading places with, Ryder? Whoa!
[Whooshing, slide whistle, thump, the music stops]
Description: Marshall flies upside down, and the wings fold back into the pup pack. He falls, and Ryder catches him.
Ryder: Looks like I'm trading places with Chase's net.
[Pups laugh, whoosh, light music plays, chair scrapes]
Description: The PAW Patrol badge spins. In town, in Porter’s Café, Alex pushes a chair to a counter. He climbs onto it, picks up a spoon from a bowl of blue icing, then paints a blue moustache under his nose with his right index finger. Alex sucks the icing off his finger and smiles.
Alex: Mmm. Icing.
[Spoon clinks, door bangs, footsteps tap, upbeat music plays]
Description: Alex drops the spoon and runs out of the kitchen. He runs into the serving area, where Mr. Porter relaxes at a table, gazing at his smartphone.
Alex: Grandpa, do you know what today is?
[Mr. Porter laughs]
Mr. Porter: Wear your dessert on your face day?
[Alex chuckles]
Alex: No. It's trading places day. So today, I'm Mr. Alex, and you're Little Grandpa.
Mr. Porter: Is that so?
[Tapping, whoosh, footsteps tap]
Description: Mr. Porter taps his fingers on the tabletop with his left hand. Alex picks up his chicken-shaped bike helmet from a chair and hands it to Mr. Porter.
Alex: Yep. Which means today, I'll be running the café and you'll be in charge of the Mini Patrol.
Mr. Porter: Trading places, huh? Sounds like fun.
Alex: Yay!
[The music stops]
Description: Mr. Porter holds up a brown smartphone with blue and green stars on the back.
Mr. Porter: This is the café phone. I'll keep my personal phone on me, and if you have an emergency, you can always call me.
[Alex gasps, rustling]
Description: Mr. Porter gives Alex the café phone, and Alex puts it in his pocket.
Alex: My own phone? Thanks.
Mr. Porter: Just for this morning. I'll use my spare one to check in on you. And how do I handle the Mini Patrol?
[Bell rings, the music stops]
Description: Alex imitates ringing a bell.
Alex: It'll be so easy, Little Grandpa. Just ring the bell, and they'll show up and do what you say.
[Footsteps tap]
Description: Mr. Porter pats the helmet, then carries it to the café door.
Mr. Porter: All right. I'll give it a try.
[Door bangs, phone rings]
Description: Mr. Porter leaves the café and the phone rings right away.
[Tense music plays]
Mr. Porter: Alex? Is everything okay?
Alex: It's great, but I forgot to tell you that Little Grandpa's supposed to ride my trike.
[Mr. Porter chuckles]
Mr. Porter: You got it, Mr. Alex.
[Beep, trike rattles]
Description: Mr. Porter puts on the helmet and walks to Alex’s wooden trike. He sits down and pedals forward. Mr. Porter rides to a tree with handholds and an attached slide. He rides in circles, then stops.
Mr. Porter: Hmm. Vroom-vroom! Huh? Whoa. Phew.
[Thump, creaking, hatch door thuds, Mr. Porter grunts, light music plays]
Description: Mr. Porter stands, then climbs the tree using the handholds. In the treehouse, he kneels and looks around.
Mr. Porter: Hello? Mini Patrol?
[Bell rings, Chickaletta clucks, tense music plays]
Description: The Mini Patrol, Callie, Squeak, Hootie, Bunny, Turtle and Chickaletta, assemble on top of the hatch door.
Mr. Porter [slowed]: Hello there, Mini...
[Clucking, yowl, flapping, slide whistle, exciting music plays]
Description: The Mini Patrol looks at Mr. Porter, panics, and flees down the slide.
Mr. Porter: Patrollers?
[Yowling, clucking, wheels squeak]
Description: Callie, Squeak, Bunny, Turtle and Chickaletta land in the trike, and Callie steers it away from the treehouse. Hootie follows behind them. Callie stops the trike, and everyone scatters.
Mr. Porter: Uh-oh. I'd better stop them.
Description: Mr. Porter slides down the slide.
Mr. Porter: Whee!
[Clang, tense music plays]
Description: On the last third of the slide, Mr. Porter’s bottom falls through.
Mr. Porter: Oh. Oh, dear.
[Mr. Porter grunts, squeaking]
Description: Mr. Porter tries to pull himself out of the slide and kicks his feet. He takes out his smartphone.
Mr. Porter: It's not easy being Alex. I'd better call Ryder.
[Whooshing, thump, hands slapping, upbeat music plays]
Description: The PAW Patrol badge spins. At the Lookout, Ryder puts the pup beds on the grass and wipes his hands together.
Ryder: Now that you've tried trading packs and vests, how about trading pup beds?
[Whooshing]
Description: Rocky runs and rolls across Rubble’s thick mattress.
Rocky: Can I trade with Rubble? His bed is so nice and fluffy.
Rubble: I don't think you'll like it one bit.
[Rubble giggles, the music stops]
Ryder: I guess you pups don't want to trade everything.
[Pup-pad rings, beep]
Description: Ryder activates his pup-pad, and Mr. Porter appears on the screen.
Ryder: Hi, Mr. Porter. Happy trading places day.
Mr. Porter: It was until Little Grandpa...
[Clears his throat, light music plays, whooshing]
Description: Mr. Porter lays his hand on his chest, then shows his bottom and back poking through the slide.
Mr. Porter: Me, got stuck on Mr. Alex's slide and the Mini Patrol got startled and ran off. I'm worried they may get into trouble or get hurt.
[Upbeat music plays]
Ryder: We're on it, Mr. Porter. No Little Grandpa is too stuck. No pup is too small.
[Beeping]
Description: Ryder pushes a button on his pup-pad and Chase, Rubble, and Marshall’s pup tags light up.
Ryder: PAW Patrol, to the Lookout.
Chase, Rubble, and Marshall: Ryder needs us.
Description: Marshall leaps over Rubble’s pup bed as he runs towards the Lookout.
Marshall: Hey. Looks like this trading idea is really working out for me.
[Whoosh]
Description: Marshall enters the empty elevator and looks around.
Marshall: Oh, right. That means—
[Slide whistle]
Description: Rocky, Zuma, and Chase tumble towards the elevator as Rubble and Skye slide behind them.
Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma, and Chase: Whoa!
[Thud, doors whirr]
Description: The pups lie in a pile as the elevator doors close.
Skye: It's fun being Marshall.
[Pups laugh, elevator bell dings, upbeat music continues]
Description: The elevator rises, and the pups pause behind the PAW Patrol badge, change into their uniforms, and continue to the observation deck. They exit the elevator and stand side by side.
Chase: PAW Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir.
Rubble: And back in our regular gear.
[Pup-pad beeps, whirring, trike wheels squeak, Mr. Porter shouts]
Description: Ryder pushes a button on his pup-pad, and a large screen lowers over a window, featuring Mr. Porter stuck on the slide and the Mini Patrol in the trike.
Ryder: Thanks, pups. We need you doing what you do best for this rescue. The Mini Patrol has rolled away on Alex's trike, and poor Mr. Porter is stuck on a broken slide. So, for this mission, I'll need Skye.
[Whoosh, beep]
Description: Skye’s pink-and-white pup tag and helicopter appear on the large screen.
Ryder: Use your copter to find the missing Mini Patrollers.
[Skye barks]
Description: Skye backflips.
Skye: Let's take to the sky.
[Whoosh, beep]
Description: Rocky’s green-and-white pup tag and tools appear on the screen.
Ryder: And Rocky. I need you to use your tools to help free Mr. Porter and fix the slide.
Rocky: Green means go.
[Upbeat music plays]
Ryder: All right. PAW Patrol is on a roll.
[Barking, howling]
Description: Ryder slides down the Lookout fire pole.
[Song] PAW Patrol. Go, go, go. Go, go, go, go, go, go.
[Skye barks, laughs]
Description: Skye flips onto the slide wrapped around the Lookout.
[Song] PAW Patrol, go, go, go, go.
Skye: Woo-hoo!
[Rocky barks]
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go.
Description: Rocky wiggles his bottom, then jumps on the slide. He uses his hind right leg to scratch behind his ear as he slides down.
[Rocky howls, whirring, whooshing, Skye laughs, whirring, clicking]
Description: Skye’s pup house lines up with the bottom of the slide. She lands inside, and it transforms into her helicopter.
[Song] Skye. Go, go, go, go, go, go. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. PAW Patrol. Go, go, go, go, go, go. Go, go, go, go.
[Whirring, whooshing, whirring, clicking]
Description: Rocky’s pup house lines up with the bottom of the slide. He lands inside, and it transforms into his recycling truck.
[Song] Rocky. Go, go, go, go, go, go Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. PAW Patrol, PAW Patrol.
[Engine revs, tires screech, whooshing, engines rumble, upbeat music plays]
Description: Ryder jumps onto his ATV and zooms out of the Lookout garage wearing a helmet. Rocky and Skye follow him down the driveway. Rocky drives his recycling truck, and Skye flies her helicopter. Later, Ryder and Rocky stop at Porter’s Café.
Mr. Porter: Ryder, Rocky, over here.
[Bang, paws screeching]
Description: Rocky climbs up to the treehouse, then slides down the slide, stopping just above Mr. Porter.
Rocky: We'll get you out.
[Rocky barks]
Rocky: Extender.
[Whirring, creaking, the music stops]
Description: Rocky’s extender picks up Mr. Porter and puts him on the ground in front of Ryder. Mr. Porter rubs his lower back.
Mr. Porter: Thanks. That was kind of embarrassing.
Ryder: It's okay, Mr. Porter.
[Whirring]
Description: Rocky looks at the hole in the slide.
Rocky: Hmm.
[Rocky gasps]
Rocky: I have just the right piece to fix that.
[Clanking, whirring, clattering]
Description: Rocky jumps over the hole and slides down the slide. He runs to his truck, opens the back, and jumps in.
Rocky: Don't lose it. Reuse it. This old cookie sheet's perfect.
[Whirring, clank]
Description: Rocky puts a round metal cookie sheet over the hole.
Rocky: It fits.
[Whirring, Rocky barks]
Description: The extender folds back into Rocky’s pup pack.
[The music stops]
Rocky: Hammer.
[Whirring, hammer bangs, serious music plays]
Description: A hammer extends from the pup pack, and Rocky hammers the cookie tray into place.
Mr. Porter: I just hope none of those Mini Patrollers got lost or hurt.
Ryder: We'll find them. Skye's searching now. She'll pup-tag as soon as she sees something.
[Yowling, whirring]
Rocky: Huh? Hey, look.
[Grass rustles]
Description: Rocky jumps off the slide. Beside the café, Callie lies between two bushes.
Rocky: It's Callie.
[Callie meows]
Description: Callie puts her head down and closes her eyes. Mr. Porter takes off the bike helmet and sets it on the grass.
Mr. Porter: I can't believe Callie was here all along. At least we found one.
Ryder: Yep. Only five more to go.
[Smartphone rustles]
Mr. Porter: We'll just keep looking. But I should check on Mr. Alex first.
[The music stops, pudding squelches, phone rings, spoon clinks, phone beeps]
Description: In the café, Alex stands on a chair at the counter and stirs pink pudding in a large bowl. Alex answers his smartphone and waves at the screen.
[Light music plays]
Alex: Hi, Little Grandpa. Guess what? Mr. Alex is going to make your famous no-cook pudding. Is that okay?
Description: Mr. Porter appears on Alex’s screen.
Mr. Porter: Of course. Just be careful.
Alex: I will. How's the Mini Patrol?
Description: Mr. Porter appears on the screen.
Mr. Porter: They're, uh-- Alex, we're going to have to open the café soon. Please don't make a mess with that pudding.
Alex: I won't. Bye, Little Grandpa.
[Beep, serious music plays]
Description: Alex waves and ends the call. He looks at the ingredients on the counter.
Alex: Let's see. Milk, sugar. Hmm. What else?
[Clink]
Description: Alex picks up a canister with a picture of bread on the side.
Alex: Yeast? Yeah, that's it. Grandpa uses yeast all the time.
[Yeast rustles]
Description: Alex pours the yeast into the pudding, and it rises.
Alex: Pretty cool, Mr. Alex.
[Pudding squelches, rotor blades thump]
Description: Outside, Skye flies past fluffy white clouds.
Skye: Now, where is that Mini Patrol?
[Hootie hoots, wings flap]
Description: Skye flies to Hootie.
Skye: It's Hootie. Wait. Are you okay?
[Hootie hoots, wings flap]
Description: Hootie flaps his wings and looks at Skye.
Skye: Just stay there. I'll help you.
[Hootie hoots, slide whistle]
Description: Skye flies below Hootie, who drops onto the seat beside her.
Skye: There you go.
[Beep, Hootie hoots]
Skye: Ryder, I found Hootie.
Ryder, over the radio: Great. And we just found Callie. Two down, one more to go.
[Rotor blades thump, Skye gasps]
Description: Skye swoops low over a playground and notices Squeak sitting on the seat of a seesaw.
Skye: Ryder, I found Squeak.
[Boings]
Description: Bunny hops past Squeak.
Skye: And Bunny. Four down, two to go.
[Boing, suspenseful music plays, boing, slide whistle]
Description: Bunny jumps onto the other side of the seesaw, and Squeak flies up.
Skye: Oh, no.
[Skye barks]
Skye: Basket.
[Rotor blades thump, Squeak squeaks, upbeat music plays]
Description: Skye catches Squeak in a basket.
[The music stops]
Skye: Phew. Close call, Squeak.
[Squeak squeaks, upbeat music plays, engines rumble]
Description: By the café, Turtle walks on the sidewalk past a tree bed; and on the other side, Mr. Porter jogs in the opposite direction beside Ryder’s ATV and Rocky’s truck.
Ryder: Nice work, Skye. Now, all we need to find is Turtle and Chickaletta.
Description: Mayor Goodway stands on the sidewalk, and everyone stops.
Mayor Goodway: Ryder, did you say you're looking for Chickaletta, too? I checked inside my purse to say hello and found one of Mayor Humdinger's kitties instead.
[Cat Rocky meows]
Description: Cat Rocky pokes his head out of Mayor Goodway’s red purse.
Mayor Goodway: Where could Chickie-Poo have gone?
[The music stops]
Ryder: Don't worry, Mayor Goodway. I'll put more pup power into this search.
[Beep]
Description: Ryder pushes a button on the pup-pad on his dashboard.
Ryder: Spy Chase, we need you and your drone.
[Upbeat music plays]
Description: Chase appears on the pup-pad screen.
Chase: Spy Chase is on the case.
[Pudding squelches]
Description: In the café, Alex holds the bulging pink pudding.
Alex: Um, I don't think pudding's supposed to get this big.
[Pudding squelches]
Description: The pudding falls out of the bowl and continues growing. The bowl disappears into the pudding.
Alex: This pudding's not so cool anymore.
[Pudding squelches, bloop]
Description: Alex pokes the pudding with a broom, and it disappears into the pink goo. He backs away from the giant pudding.
Alex: It's not easy being Grandpa.
[Siren wails, tires screech, upbeat music plays]
Description: Chase arrives outside and stops in front of Ryder. He hops onto the back of his vehicle, and Mayor Goodway walks to him.
Chase: Let's find some Minis.
[Chase barks, upbeat music notes play]
Chase: Drone.
[Whirring, whoosh, tense music plays]
Description: Chase launches the drone and finds a feather.
Chase: Huh? A feather?
Description: Mayor Humdinger, who has the feather on top of his hat, looks up at the drone and waves his hand at it.
Mayor Humdinger: Shoo.
Chase: That looks like...
Mayor Goodway: Mayor Humdinger?
[Whoosh, tires screech]
Description: Chase hops into his police vehicle.
Chase: We'd better check it out.
[Siren wails]
Description: Ryder and Rocky follow Chase around a corner while Mayor Goodway and Mr. Porter run beside them on the sidewalk. In the town square, Mayor Humdinger leans towards a bush.
Mayor Humdinger: Kitty? Where are you, Kitty?
[Tires screech]
Description: Mayor Goodway carries Cat Rocky in her purse.
Mayor Goodway: Right here, Mayor Humdinger. But I still can't find my Chickaletta.
[Energetic music plays]
Description: Mayor Humdinger grabs Cat Rocky.
Mayor Humdinger: Never mind that. Hand over my kitty-witty.
[Clucking, Mayor Goodway gasps, the music stops]
Description: A feather falls from Mayor Humdinger’s hat.
Mayor Goodway: Oh! I'd know that "bawka-bawka" anywhere.
[Clucking, upbeat music plays, thump]
Description: Mayor Humdinger takes off his hat, and Chickaletta stands on his head. She takes off and lands in Mayor Goodway’s purse.
Mayor Humdinger: Oh, yuck. Now, my hat's going to smell like chicken.
Chase: Chickaletta and the kitty were trading places, too.
Mr. Porter: Only one left to find is Turtle.
Ryder: Luckily, Turtle isn't very fast. He couldn't have gone far.
Mr. Porter: I hope not. Meet me at the café once you find him. I've got to open up.
[Whoosh]
Description: Mr. Porter runs towards the café, where Francois and Cap’n Turbot stand outside.
Cap’n Turbot: Happy trading places day, Francois.
Francois: Trading is terrifically, terribly tough.
[Francois sighs]
Description: Francois’s shoulders sag.
Francois: Speaking like you is so hard, Horatio.
[Whoosh]
Description: Mr. Porter arrives and gestures at the café doors.
Mr. Porter: Welcome, Turbots. Come on in.
[Door opens]
Description: Mr. Porter leads Cap’n Turbot and Francois into the café. Cap’n Turbot lifts his hat as he passes Mr. Porter, then puts it back on.
Cap’n Turbot: Thanks, Monsieur Porter.
[Slide whistle]
Description: In the café, Turtle walks around a corner.
Cap’n Turbot: I am, how you say, famished.
Francois: Look out for the, uh, precarious pile of p-p-pink pudding!
[Dramatic music plays, pudding squelches]
Description: Cap’n Turbot slips on pudding and slides across the room.
Cap’n Turbot: Huh? Whoa.
Description: Ryder, Chase, and Rocky run into the café.
Cap’n Turbot: Whoa!
[Upbeat music plays]
Chase: I'll stop you.
[Chase barks]
Chase: Net.
[Whirring, boing]
Description: The launcher extends from Chase’s pup pack, and he launches the net in front of Cap’n Turbot.

Cap’n Turbot: Phew. Thanks, Chase. Oh, I mean, "mercy boo-cou."

Mr. Porter: My café is covered in pudding. How am I ever going to clean this place up?
Rocky: We can help with that.
[Whoosh, Rocky barks]
Description: Rocky jumps closer to the piles of pudding.
Rocky: Vacuum.
[Whirring, whooshing, floor chimes, upbeat music plays]
Description: A vacuum extends from Rocky’s pup pack, and he vacuums the pudding off the floor. The PAW Patrol badge spins. Later, the café floor gleams beneath Mr. Porter, Alex, Callie, Hootie, Chickaletta, Bunny, Squeak, Ryder, Francois, Cap’n Turbot, and Rocky.
Mr. Porter: The café is spotless, and my floor is gleaming. Thanks for your help, PAW Patrol.
Ryder: You're welcome. Whenever trading places goes the wrong way, just yelp for help.
[Footsteps tap]
Description: Chase arrives carrying Turtle on his helmet.
Chase: And look who I found: the last missing member of the Mini Patrol.
Alex: Aw, Turtle.
[Slide whistle]
Description: Chase leans over and Turtle slides into Alex’s hands.
Alex: That was a trading places day Mr. Alex will never forget.
Francois: The PAW Patrol turned a precarious pudding and a missing Mini Patrol into a successful save. Hey! I did it.
