Koko decides to try for the High Speed badge - something no trainee has ever won. Emery wishes he still earned badges like the trainees do. For fun, he plays a 'pretend badge' game with Hoot and Toot, where they award each other imaginary badges. Emery is so busy playing his game that he doesn't listen when Vee assigns him to take some supporters to the footbridge to cheer Koko on. Realising that he was so wrapped up in his pretend badge game, he forgot how important the real badge was for Koko, he takes it upon himself to be her number one cheerleader. Koko is flagging, but with Emery's encouragement, she bursts through the finish line! Emery learns that he doesn't need badges anymore - it's enough to know he's done a good job.

Pablo is devastated that his favorite comic book author can no longer visit Birdwell Island. He was so excited to meet her! Emily, Clifford, and their friends try to cheer up Pablo by putting on a performance of one of his comic books. Luckily, a trusted Colourblock appears from the deep sea to take them back to Colourland.

Kaksat'iio is proud to model clothing created by Indigenous designers and she takes us to a photo session where she models a beautiful ribbon dress and some beaded cuffs. She's also a competitive gymnast who practices hard to do well in competition. Kaksat'iio shows us how to plant corn, one of the important foods traditionally grown by many First Nations. Slippy fires up the space station and manages to deviate the junk but Ella ends up trapped on it all alone. Will space junk save her?
