Jasmine is rehearsing on the flute. To keep time, she uses the sound of the seesaw that Doobeedoo and Doodoowah are playing on. But when Jambo joins them, the rhythm changes and Jasmine's song sounds different.
Raechel
Raechel is an 11-year-old who lives in Woodbridge, Ontario. She celebrates her Guyanese heritage by playing Mas with her cousins. She shows us one of her favourite Guyanese dishes and takes us to her dance studio where she practices dances.
Layla
Layla is an 11-year-old girl from Chatham, Ontario. She is an 8th generation Black Canadian with a passion for basketball and ballet! Her family runs the Buxton Museum, and she shares the story of the first Black settlers of the area.
