(music plays)

The show opens with two girls and a boy pointing at the camera and saying the show title.
A slate appears for each word inside a speech bubble against a background of colourful pixels.

Then, the speech bubbles show the names of the characters.
Melissa is in her twenties and has long, straight, brown hair with bangs. She wears a pink knitted hat, a red shirt, a white jacket, and black pants.
Shamus is in his twenties and has short, black hair. He wears a black fedora, black glasses, a plaid shirt with a blue bow-tie, and red pants.
Ruth is in her thirties and has medium-length blonde hair with bangs. She wears a light-blue ensemble of sportswear.

Melissa stands in a kitchen, typing in her tablet. A speech bubble pops up with a picture of an animal shelter.

Melissa says WHAT?
SHAMUS JUST TOLD
ME THAT OUR LOCAL
ANIMAL SHELTER
HAS A LEAKY ROOF.

A speech bubble with Shamus’ picture reads IT’S GOING TO
COST A KA-JILLION DOLLARS TO FIX!

Melissa says A KA-JILLION
DOLLARS?
SHAMUS CAN BE A
LITTLE
DRAMATIC.

A speech bubble pops up with a picture of a dog and the caption OH,
THOSE POOR SOGGY PUPPIES!

Melissa says THERE WILL BE NO
SOGGY PUPPIES!
NOT ON MY WATCH.

As Melissa types, speech bubble displays what she says, which reads WE NEED TO RAISE MONEY TO HELP
FIX THE ROOF!

A speech bubble pops up with a picture of the shelter and the caption WE COULD HOLD A FUNDRAISER!

Melissa says A FUNDRAISER?

As she types, speech bubble displays what she says, which reads THAT’S IT!

Melissa says WE'LL HOLD AN EVENT
AND INVITE PEOPLE
TO DONATE MONEY.
I BET RUTH CAN
HELP ME WITH THAT.

As she types, speech bubble displays what she says, which reads THANKS SHAMUS. TTYL.

(music plays)

She runs to Ruth’s house. She stops at the doors and pants.

Ruth says WHOA, WHAT'S THE
EMERGENCY, KID?
[breathless]

Melissa says I WANNA HAVE
A FUNDRAISER
TO HELP THE
ANIMAL SHELTER.
BUT I HAVE NO IDEA
HOW TO DO IT.

Ruth says AND WHEN YOU WANNA
FIND SOMETHING OUT?

Melissa screams I AM UNSTOPPABLE!

Melissa says HOW DID YOU KNOW?

Ruth says JUST A HUNCH.

They enter the garage and Ruth says WELCOME TO MY OUTDOOR
BARGAIN BLOWOUT
EXTRAVAGANZA!

Melissa says WHAT'S THAT THING?

Ruth says MY GARAGE SALE.

Melissa says SAY WHAT?

Ruth says A GARAGE SALE OR
A YARD SALE
IS WHERE YOU TAKE
ALL YOUR OLD STUFF
THAT YOU DON'T
WANT ANYMORE,

Melissa says AND YOU SELL IT AND
PEOPLE CAN BUY IT
AT A REDUCED PRICE.
AND, THEN YOU
COULD DONATE
THE MONEY YOU
MAKE TO CHARITY.
IT'S THE PERFECT
FUNDRAISER.

Ruth says GET YOUR FRIENDS TO BRING
OVER THEIR OLD STUFF
OR ORGANIZE YOUR NEIGHBOURS
AND HAVE A STREET SALE.
MAKE IT A PARTY.

Melissa says RUTH, YOU ARE
BLOWING MY MIND.

Ruth says AND, IF YOU HELP ME
WITH MY GARAGE SALE,
I'LL DONATE THE MONEY
TO THE ANIMAL SHELTER.

Melissa says THANK YOU, RUTH.
NOW, THAT CALLS FOR
A VICTORY MOMENT!

(music plays)

They do a victory dance.

Melissa says HOLDING A FUNDRAISER
IS A GREAT WAY
TO HELP OUT
PEOPLE IN NEED.
THERE ARE A LOT OF
WAYS TO RAISE MONEY:
GARAGE SALES, BAKE SALES,
OR JUST ASKING FRIENDS
AND FAMILY TO DONATE.

(music plays)

They raise the money and get the roof fixed.

A picture of the new rood appears.

[clapping]

In the kitchen, Melissa says CHECK OUT WHO'S RAISING
THE ROOF NOW, WHOO WHOO!

Shamus says A STREET SALE FOR CHARITY
WAS THE BEST IDEA EVER!

Melissa says WE RAISED ENOUGH MONEY TO
GET THE ANIMAL SHELTER
A NEW ROOF.
AND IT BROUGHT THE WHOLE
NEIGHBOURHOOD TOGETHER.
AND GUESS WHAT?
IT MADE ME FEEL
PRETTY GOOD TOO.

Shamus says NO MORE SOGGY
PUPPIES.

Melissa shouts NO MORE SOGGY
PUPPIES!!
EXCEPT MAYBE ONE.
WHAT?

Melissa holds a puppet and says OHH, YEAH, I JUST
COULDN'T RESIST.

Shamus says OH, SO CUTE.

Melissa says NOW, HE'LL BE
SOGGY WITH KISSES!
MWAH, MWAH, MWAH,
MWAH, MWAH.
OH, HI, SCMOOP.
SEE, ISN'T HE CUTE?
I SHALL CALL
HIM SCHMOOPY.
AND HE SHALL BE
MY SCHMOOPY.

Shamus says OHH, YOU ARE
SO ADORABLE.

Melissa says SCMOOP AND MELISSA ARE
GONNA TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
WHEE!
[dog barks]
[giggle]

(music plays)

They both exercise facing each other through the tablet.

The TVO Kids logo appears.
