Ryder stops right before the gorge.

IT ALMOST FOUND US.
The mayor gibbers on the other end of the bridge.
Ryder says HE REALLY THINKS
HE'S A MONKEY.
(BLOWING RASPBERRY)
Skye says HE STILL HAS THE SAME
BAD MANNERS.
Tracker says THIS WAY, RYDER.
Ryder says HOLD ON.
THAT SUPPORT STAKE LOOKS LIKE
IT'S READY TO FALL OUT.
Tracker says YOU'RE RIGHT, RYDER.
IF WE TRY TO CROSS THE BRIDGE,
IT COULD COME LOOSE
AND WE'D FALL INTO THE GORGE.
(SPEAKING SPANISH)

He presses a button on his phone and says ROCKY, CAN YOU HELP US OUT?

(ALL GIBBERING)
On a tree, a monkey tosses a banana at the mayor. The mayor wipes his eyes and the mask comes off.
He says AAH!
WHAT AM I DOING HERE?
The monkey puts the mask back on the mayor’s face.
(GIBBERING)
Rocky says RUFF! HAMMER.
Rocky pulls out his hammer and starts hammering the support stakes back in.
Ryder says GOOD JOB, ROCKY.
THIS ROPE BRIDGE
WILL BE SAFE TO CROSS
AS LONG AS WE DON'T
LET IT SWING TOO MUCH.
Tracker says NOW WE CAN SAVE
THAT MONKEY MAN.
LET'S GO. VÁMONOS.
Ryder crosses the bridge first and says NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.
JUST TAKE IT SLOW.
Tracker says OYE, OYE, OYE.
Ryder says EASY, TRACKER.
SLOW DOWN.
(HUMDINGER GIBBERING)
Tracker says THAT WAS SUPER EASY,
IF WE FOLLOW COPTER ACROSS.
(ALL LAUGHING)

MONKEY-DINGER.
I MEAN, MAYOR HUMDINGER.
Mayor Humdinger throws something on Ryder’s head.
(LAUGHING)
Ryder says MAYOR HUMDINGER,

He throws bananas at him.
(HUMDINGER CACKLING)
Ryder says ...RESCUE YOU.
(GIBBERING)
Ryder says THE MAYOR'S GOING
TO GET HURT MONKEYING AROUND.
TRACKER, SEE IF YOU
CAN GET HIM DOWN.
Tracker says SÍ, RYDER. RUFF! CABLES.
Tracker shoots cables form his backpack to the tree and approach the mayor.
He says HI, MAYOR HUMDINGER.
LET ME HELP YOU...
DOWN.
The mayor holds onto the cables and start spinning. Then he jumps down.
Tracker says WHOA!
RYDER, I DON'T THINK
HE WANTS TO COME DOWN.
(GIBBERING)
He starts jumping from branch to branch with the monkeys. Then one of the monkeys accidentally hit the mask off.
(GRUNTING)
Mayor Humdinger says WHAT AM I DOING UP HERE?
HELP!
The mask falls down and lands on his face again.
(LAUGHING)
He continues jumping around with the monkeys.
Tracker says MIRA, RYDER.
WE NEED TO GET
THE MASK BACK,
OR HE'LL KEEP THINKING
HE'S A MONKEY.
Ryder says CAN YOU GRAB THE MASK?
Tracker says (SPEAKING SPANISH)
I'LL TRY.
RUFF!
Tracker uses his cables to follow around the mayor, who’s jumping from vine to vine.
(GIBBERING)
(WHOOPING)
Tracker says NO SIENTO, RYDER.
HE'S TOO FAST.
WE NEED TO DISTRACT HIM.
Skye says ON MY WAY.
WATCH ME. UP HERE.
YOO-HOO!
She drives her helicopter in circles.
(MONKEY SHRIEKING)
AS the mayor and the monkeys look at Skye, Tracker takes his mask off.
The mayor says OH, NO. I GOT
TO GET DOWN FROM HERE.
He tries to climb down the tree but falls to the ground.
(WHIMPERING)
(GRUNTING)
Ryder helps him up and says THAT'S ONE WAY TO GET DOWN.
ARE YOU OKAY?
The mayor says NO. I DON'T KNOW
WHERE I AM.
AND WHY DO I KEEP
CRAVING BANANAS?
Ryder says IT'S A LONG STORY,
BUT IT STARTED WITH YOU
TAKING THAT MASK.
The mayor says I MERELY BORROWED IT.
Tracker says WELL, IT'S GOING BACK
TO THE TEMPLE, WHERE IT BELONGS.
Ryder says OKAY, MAYOR HUMDINGER,
CROSS THE BRIDGE
SLOW AND EASY.
The mayor says OH, THIS BRIDGE
IS WAY TOO JIGGLY.
With sad expressions on their faces, the monkeys wave the mayor good-bye.
One of the monkeys jump on a vine, snatch the mask and puts it back on the mayor’s face.
Tracker says MANDY!
THIS IS NO TIME
FOR PLAY.
(GIBBERING)
Ryder says OH, NO!
HE'S GOING MONKEY AGAIN.
The mayor starts jumping around till the mask comes off and he almost falls off the bridge.
Hanging from a rope, the mayor says WHOA!
NOT AGAIN!
HELP!
Ryder says SKYE, FLY TO THE MAYOR
AND PULL HIM UP
WITH YOUR HARNESS.
Skye says ON IT, RYDER.
JUST GRAB ON TO IT, MAYOR.
The mayor says I CAN'T. I CAN'T LET GO.
Ryder says CAN YOU SWING OVER THERE
AND GIVE HIM A HELPING PAW?
Tracker says (SPEAKING SPANISH)
I SURE CAN, RYDER.
RUFF! CABLES.
He shoots his cables to the bridge.
Tracker says HOLD STILL RIGHT THERE, SKYE.
He shoots one of his cables towards Skye’s harness and uses the other to grab the mayor and pulls him off the bridge.
The mayor says HUH?
OH! WHOA!
(ALL CHEERING)
Back at the temple, the mayor says UH, THANKS, RYDER.
ONCE AGAIN, YOU SAVED ME.
Ryder says HEY, WHENEVER YOU HAVE
A PROBLEM,
JUST YELP FOR HELP.
The mayor grumbles.
Ryder says LUCKY WE HAD TRACKER.
WHAT A GOOD PUP.
Tracker says YES.
SOY UN BUEN CHICO.
Mandy comes along holding the mask.
(GIBBERING)
The mayor runs away and says GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!
(GRUNTING)
He climbs up a tree and says HMM, WHEN DID I GET SO GOOD
AT CLIMBING TREES?
Ryder grabs the mask and says I'LL TAKE THAT.
He gives Mandy a banana and says THANKS, MANDY.
YOU DESERVE LOTS OF BANANAS.
The mayor says OOH, BANANAS SMELL SO GOOD.
WHOA!
He falls backwards and hangs with his legs on the branch.
He says I'M OKAY.
(ALL LAUGHING)
The song says P-P-P-PAW-PAW,
PAW PATROL
The end credits roll as rock music plays.
