Jasmina signs, WE'RE GOING TO MAKE SLIME.
Xavier, Zander, Dominic and Janaki sit at the table with Jasmina. Sarah and Joyce stand behind Dominic and Janaki.

On the trampoline, Jasmina signs I LOVE SLIME. HOW SLIME FEELS IN MY HAND, IT'S SO COOL. IT CALMS ME DOWN.
[Slime squelching]
At the table, Jasmina signs, TO MAKE SLIME, YOU NEED A BOWL.
Janaki says, YOU NEED A BOWL.
Jasmina signs, AND THEN YOU NEED SOME GLUE.
Jasmina and Dominic uncap bottles of glue.
On the trampoline, Jasmina signs, IT'S FUN TEACHING MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS HOW TO MAKE SLIME.
Jasmina pours glue into a bowl.
On the trampoline, Jasmina signs, THEY GET TO LEARN FROM THEIR OLDER SISTER. AND IT'S SOMETHING THEY'LL BE ABLE TO PASS ON TO THEIR FRIENDS.
Xavier and Janaki spray shaving cream into small plastic bowls. Jasmina scoops a teaspoon of white powder into the large bowl of water.
On the trampoline, Jasmina signs, I LIKE IT BECAUSE IT'S FAMILY TEACHING FAMILY.
Jasmina pours water into Zander’s bowl and helps Zander stir a bowl of slime mixture. The mixture sticks to Dominic’s hand. Jasmina signs to Dominic. Sarah and Joyce help Dominic and Janaki with their slime. Sarah pulls Janaki’s slime out of their bowl.
Janaki says, WHOA!
Dominic plays with slime. On the tablet, a person taps on an image of Sarah and Janaki. Elsewhere in the house, Sarah hugs Janaki. The person taps on a video recording icon, and a red light flashes.
[Sarah speaking]
Janaki smiles and nods.
Sarah signs, MOMMY FEELS BETTER NOW.
At the bottom of the stairs, Jasmina films Sarah and Janaki with a sports camera. Joyce stands behind Jasmina and smiles. Jasmina waves. At another time, Jasmina plays a video game with Dominic, Zander and Xavier in the basement.
[Video game noises]
Jasmina signs.
On the basement couch, Jasmina signs, WELL, I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT BEING DEAF, I'M COMPLETELY DEAF, IS WHO I AM. BECAUSE I WAS BORN DEAF. I'M FINE WITH THE FACT THAT I CAN'T HEAR. I'M HEALTHY, I JUST CAN'T HEAR.
In the basement living room, Jasmina and Xavier run on the spot.
[Video game noises]
On the trampoline, Jasmina signs, IF SOMEBODY THINKS THAT I HAVE A DISABILITY, I CONSIDER THAT TO BE AN INSULT. I DON'T LIKE BEING CONSIDERED DISABLED. ALL I AM IS DEAF. I AM VERY PROUD TO BE PART OF DEAF CULTURE BECAUSE I LOVE BEING DEAF.
On the basement couch, Jasmina sits with their family, including their other parent, who has short hair and wears a grey, plaid button-down shirt.
They all sign and say, FAMILY.
On the trampoline, Jasmina signs, I LOVE MY FAMILY BECAUSE THEY'RE MY FAMILY.

On the trampoline, Jasmina signs, I MEAN, WE'RE NOT PERFECT. WE DO FIGHT WITH EACH OTHER AND ARGUE. BUT THAT'S JUST NORMAL I THINK WITH ANY BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
Jasmina sits on a bench on top of the playset. Zander stands on the edge of the slide. Dominic and Xavier sit on a bench. Sarah and the short-haired parent stand by a ladder with Janaki. Joyce stands beside Zander.
Jasmina signs, THANK YOU FOR LEARNING ABOUT MY HOME AND MY LIFE. BYE!

On the living room couch, Jasmina tickles Janaki.
Janaki says, ACTION!
In Jasmina and Janaki’s bedroom, Janaki climbs a ladder to their loft bed.
Jasmina signs, THIS IS MY BABY.
Jasmina pets a cat in the loft bed.
Jasmina signs, THIS IS JADE.
At the dining table, Sarah and Joyce try to scrape slime off Janaki’s shirt.
Janaki says, WOAH!
Outside, in front of the house, Jasmina holds Husky. Jasmina waves with Husky’s paw.
