[Rock music plays]
In an animation, in the Lookout, Ryder smiles as he pushes a button.
[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. Whenever there's a problem 'round Adventure Bay, Ryder and his team of pups will come and save the day.
DESCRIPTION: On the ocean floor, the Paw Patrol pilot their subs out of the Sub Patroller. On a beach, people cheer as Coral’s seahorse-shaped sub transforms into a motorcycle.
[Song] Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye, yeah, they're on the way. Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, whenever you're in trouble, Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. No job's too big, no pup's too small, Paw Patrol, we're on a roll. So here we go, Paw Patrol, whoa-oh-oh.
DESCRIPTION: Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, and Skye slide down the Lookout slide to their vehicles. Ryder leads the pups as they drive their vehicles away from the Lookout. On top of a rocky outcropping, Alex dodges a swooping pterodactyl and throws a pale blue egg to Marshall. Marshall catches the egg and bounces down his fire truck ladder. At the bottom, a baby pterodactyl hatches and hugs him. Chase shoots a net beneath Alex and catches him. Ryder gives the Paw Patrol dog treats.

DESCRIPTION: On the grass by the Lookout, the pups sit in a semi-circle in front of Ryder and a large clock. Ryder moves the clock hand.
RYDER: What time is this?
CHASE: Uh, 12 o'clock?
[Ding, boing, clock hand cranks]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder holds his arms in the three o’clock position.
RYDER: Right. How about now?
SKYE: Three o'clock.
[Ding]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder moves the clock hand.
RYDER: Great, but can you tell me what time this is?
[Boings, whooshes]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder points his fingers up and to the side. He lifts a leg.
RYDER: It's treat time!
[Ding, everyone laughs]
RUBBLE: My favourite time of the day.
[Whoosh, footsteps echo, light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger paces beneath a cuckoo clock in his cave as the Kitten Catastrophe Crew watches him. His large computer screen features his masked cat logo.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Oh, Mayor Goodway is always out-mayor-ing me. If only I knew what she's going to do next, I could do it first. Then I'd out-mayor her!
[Cats meow]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: So, does anyone have any ideas on how I can spy on Adventure Bay?
[Fingers tap, cats meow, click, spring squeaks]
DESCRIPTION: The mayor wiggles his fingers, and the Kitten Catastrophe Crew look at each other. The cuckoo on a spring bounces out of a little door on the cuckoo clock.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Oh!
[Ding]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Ding, door slams, the mayor gasps]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: That's it! That's what I'll do!
[Laughs, cat meow, whoosh, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, the mayor stands on the steps of the town hall. Chickaletta and Mayor Humdinger stand beside her, and a crowd faces her. A large tarp covers something above the clock on top of the building.
MAYOR GOODWAY: I'm thrilled to announce the start of Adventure Bay Fun Days!
[Chickaletta squawks]
MAYOR GOODWAY: We'll be having fun events, activities, and everyone is invited.
[Crowd cheers]
CROWD: Alright! That sounds like fun.
[Cheerful music plays]
MAYOR GOODWAY: And in honour of Adventure Day Fun Days, Mayor Humdinger has donated a Foggy Bottom friendship gift of a new Town Square clock.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah.
[Mayor Humdinger snickers, Cat Skye meows, jet pack whooshes, crowd gasps, clank, boing, spring squeaks, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Cat Skye flies with their jet pack and pulls the tarp off a large cuckoo clock. The clock strikes noon, and a giant purple cuckoo slides out of a door at the top of the clock.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[People laugh, applaud, clock hand cranks, soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: By the Lookout, Ryder holds his arms in the two o’clock position, and Rocky moves the hour hand on the clock to two.
PUPS: Two o'clock!
[Ding, boing, clock hand cranks]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder moves his arms to four o’clock, and Rocky moves the hour hand on the clock to four.
PUPS: Four o'clock.
[Ding]
RUBBLE: Reading clocks rocks.
[Rubble chuckles, whoosh, beeps, chair rattles]
DESCRIPTION: In his Foggy Bottom cave, Mayor Humdinger sits on a chair in front of his giant computer. The screen features the cuckoo clock on top of the Adventure Bay town hall. He types on the keyboard.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Time to give this cuckoo its real mission-- to keep its camera eyes and microphone ears on what's going on in Adventure Bay.
[Beep, clank, wings flap]
DESCRIPTION: The mayor pushes a button, and the giant cuckoo clock emerges from the clock on the town hall and flies away.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[The mayor snickers, button beeps, eye whirrs, Mayor Humdinger gasps, snickers, door slams, soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The mayor pushes a button, and the cuckoo opens the camera eyes and films the sidewalk in front of town hall. Mayor Goodway exits the town hall and walks down the steps.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: There she goes. Let's follow her.
[Whoosh, light music plays, wings flap, camera beeps]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, the cuckoo flies behind Mayor Goodway. She stops at Mr. Porter’s café, where he stands outside with a tray of muffins on a cart.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Mmm! Those smell muffin-licious.
[Beeps, lever clicks, light music continues]
DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger pushes a button and flicks a lever on his keyboard.
OVER THE COMPUTER SPEAKER, MR. PORTER: Thanks, Mayor Goodway. I'm just setting this batch out to cool. Then I'll bring them over to Town Square for everyone.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Wonderful, and I have another Fun Days surprise. Travelling Travis is coming to give us free balloon rides!
[Cats meow]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Ha! I heard that. Now, I can be first in line for a balloon ride. In the meantime, I'll keep this cuckoo circling the area until Mr. Porter goes back inside. Then we can grab one or two or all of those muffins. I mean, they're free. Right, kitties?
[Chair rattles, cats meow]
DESCRIPTION: On the computer screen, Mr. Porter and Mayor Goodway walk away from the muffin cart.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Ah! Why do I ask you anything?
[Wings flap, eye camera whirrs]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, the giant cuckoo hovers over the muffin cart.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Okay, cuckoo. Grab those muffins.
[Upbeat music plays, Travelin’ Travis sniffs]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, Travelin’ Travis arrives, piloting his hot air balloon.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Do I smell blueberry muffins? Hmm. Chocolate chip, maybe? This calls for a closer smell. I mean, look.
[Whoosh, clunk]
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis lowers the hot air balloon, and the cuckoo lands on top.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Ah! Hmm.
[Slide whistle, lever clicks, Mayor Humdinger grumbles]
DESCRIPTION: The control box on the bottom of the cuckoo falls to the ground and lands in front of Mr. Porter as he carries another tray of muffins to the cart. In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger watches the cuckoo with the legs tangled in the rope at the top of the hot air balloon. Mayor Humdinger flicks the lever.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Dramatic music plays]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Uh-oh! I've lost control of my cuckoo!
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: The hot air balloon swerves towards the town hall.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Ah!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Slide whistle, clank, clock hand squeaks]
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis falls out of the hot air balloon basket and grabs the minute hand on the clock on the town hall.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Ah!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Tense music plays]
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Crikey!
[Grunts, clank, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis swings his leg up onto a small ledge, and it slides off.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Help! I won't be able to hold on when it's half past the hour! And that's in five minutes!
(Clock hand clanks]
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Make that four minutes!
[Exciting music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta exit the town hall.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Hang on, Travelling Travis! I'm calling the Paw Patrol!
[Smartphone beeps, Chase boings, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: By the Lookout, Chase stands on two legs beside the clock with both of his front legs pointed down.
SKYE: That one's tricky. Chase has paws on six and on half past the hour. Hmm.
[Gasps]
SKYE: Six-thirty!
[Ding]
CHASE: Right.
[Clock hand cranks]
DESCRIPTION: Chase moves both hands on the clock so they point to the six.
MARSHALL: My turn!
[Pup-pad rings, beeps, serious music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder activates his pup-pad, and Mayor Goodway appears on the screen.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Ryder, Travelling Travis is hanging from the new cuckoo clock that Mayor Humdinger gave us. Oh!
[Cuckoo rattles]
DESCRIPTION: On the screen, the mayor ducks as the giant cuckoo swoops over her head.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
MAYOR GOODWAY: And the cuckoo is flying all over the place!
[The music stops, birds chirp]
RYDER: On it, Mayor Goodway. No cuckoo bird is too fast. No pup is too small.
[Pup-pad whirrs, pup tags beep, upbeat music plays]
RYDER: Paw Patrol to the Lookout!
PUPS: Ryder needs us!
[Boing]
DESCRIPTION: Marshall runs into the clock and rolls with it towards the Lookout.
MARSHALL: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
[Pups bark]
ROCKY: Marshall!
CHASE: Look out!
MARSHALL: Whoa!
[Crash, Chase laughs]
DESCRIPTION: Marshall lies against the clock with his front paws spread wide.
CHASE: What time is that supposed to be?
MARSHALL: Uh... time to help Ryder?
[Ding, everyone laughs, doors whirr, elevator whirrs, dings, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: The elevator rises. The pups pause behind the Lookout badge, change into their Paw Patrol uniforms, and continue to the observation deck. They run out of the elevator and stand side-by-side.
CHASE: Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir.
[Beep, cuckoo chatters, pops, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder pushes a button on his screen, and a large screen lowers. On the screen, the cuckoo flies over town.
RYDER: That was fast. Thanks, pups. Mayor Humdinger's cuckoo clock gift seems to be malfunctioning. The bird from the clock flew off and is now causing trouble.
DESCRIPTION: On the screen, Travelin’ Travis hangs from the clock.
TRAVELLING TRAVIS: Three minutes!
RYDER: And now, Travelling Travis is hanging off the clock. So, for this mission, I'll need Marshall.
[Beep, whirr, beep]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swipes on his pup-pad, and Marshall’s fire truck appears on the screen.
RYDER: You'll use your ladder to help Travelling Travis down.
MARSHALL: I'm fired up.
RYDER: And Skye.
[Beep, whirr]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swipes on his pup-pad, and Skye’s helicopter appears on the screen.
RYDER: I'll need you to use your copter to catch up with the cuckoo bird and stop it.
[Skye barks, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Skye backflips.
SKYE: Let's take to the sky!
RYDER: Alright. PAW Patrol is on a roll!
[Pups bark, howl, whoosh, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder runs to a pole and slides down.
[Song] Paw Patrol.
DESCRIPTION: Marshall follows Ryder, slips, and falls onto the slide.
MARSHALL: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
[Song] Paw Patrol.
MARSHALL: Whoa!
[Skye barks]
Whoo-hoo!
[Skye laughs, barks, whirr]
DESCRIPTION: Outside, Marshall’s fire truck moves to the bottom of the slide.
MARSHALL: Whoa!
[Song] Marshall.
[Bark, whirr, clatter, siren blares]
DESCRIPTION: Marshall lands in his fire truck, and the wheels extend. He drives away from the slide.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Paw Patrol. Go, go, go, go.
[Skye laughs]
DESCRIPTION: Skye’s helicopter moves to the bottom of the slide.
[Song] Go, go, go, Skye.
[Barks, clicks, clatters, rotor blades thump]
DESCRIPTION: Skye drops into her helicopter, and the wheels and rotor blades extend.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Paw Patrol. Paw Patrol.
[Door clatters, whoosh, engine rumbles, siren blares]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder jumps onto his A.T.V. and drives out of the Lookout. He leads Marshall and Skye past a water tower.
[Travelin’ Travis whimpers, clock hand clanks, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In town, Travelin’ Travis hangs from the minute hand.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Two minutes 'til I drop!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[People gasp, umbrella rustles, air hisses]
DESCRIPTION: The cuckoo flies over the beach. The cuckoo grabs a beach umbrella. It drops the umbrella and flies past a raft, scratching a hole in it.
[Fist bangs]
DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger hits his keyboard.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Drat. I have to get that control box back on my cuckoo bird to make it do what I want.
[Clock hand clanks, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, the minute hand moves on the town hall clock.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: One minute!
[Siren blares, engines rumble, energetic music plays]
RYDER: Marshall, you got this.
MARSHALL: I sure do, Ryder.
[Tires screech, clock hand clanks, slide whistles]
DESCRIPTION: The minute hand moves and points straight down, and Travelin’ Travis’s hand slides down. He falls.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Oh, no! I'm out of time!
[Marshall barks]
MARSHALL: Ladder!
[Ladder clatters, thud, slide whistle]
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis lands on the top of the ladder and slides down. He jumps to the ground.
RYDER: Nice save, Marshall.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Phew.
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis tips his hat to Marshall.
[Beep]
RYDER: Skye, go find that cuckoo bird.
SKYE: I'm on it, Ryder.
[Engine whirrs, tires screech, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In front of his café, Mr. Porter stares at the control box as Mayor Humdinger arrives on his Kitty Carrier.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: That box belongs to me, Mr. Porter. I'll take that.
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger grabs the control box.
MR. PORTER: Oh. Glad I could be of help.
[Cuckoo whooshes]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Cuckoo, come back! I need to put this control box back on you!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Wings flap, whirr, whoosh, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The cuckoo swoops down and picks up Mayor Humdinger by the back of his suit jacket.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Hey! Whoa! This would be easier to do on the ground. Ah!
[Slide whistle, box clatters]
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger drops the control box, and Mr. Porter picks it up.
MR. PORTER: I'd better tell Ryder about this.
[Rotor blades thump]
DESCRIPTION: Skye hovers in the helicopter as the cuckoo flies past.
SKYE: I found the cuckoo bird, Ryder.
RYDER: Great work, Skye.
[Footsteps patter, box taps, the music stops]
DESCRIPTION: Mr. Porter gives Ryder the control box.
MR. PORTER: Ryder, I thought I should give you this. Mayor Humdinger said it belongs on that wild cuckoo bird.
RYDER: Thanks, Mr. Porter. Now, I get what's going on.
[Wind gusts]
DESCRIPTION: Skye follows the cuckoo.
SKYE: Ryder, the cuckoo bird is carrying Mayor Humdinger, and it's heading toward Farmer Al and Yumi's farm.
[Upbeat music plays]
RYDER: Thanks, Skye. Keep it in sight.
SKYE: Roger that, Ryder.
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky and Chase appear on the pup-pad screen.
RYDER: Rocky, Chase, I need you to meet me at Farmer Al and Yumi's farm, and Rocky, bring a controller.
CHASE: Chase is on the case.
ROCKY: Green means go!
[Wind gusts, whoosh, wings flap]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger points to a small pond by a barn.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Oh, is that a pond over there? Drop me there, cuckoo, please.
[Mud splashes, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: A pig jumps into mud beside the barn as the cuckoo swoops down.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Ah! Mud! Don't drop me. Don't drop me!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo!
[Siren blares, engines rumble, tires screech]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Rocky, and Chase arrive and stop in front of the barn.
[Wind gusts]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Help! Help me!
RYDER: Chase, drive under that cuckoo bird, and get ready to deploy your net.
CHASE: Chase is on the mayor-catching case.
[Siren blares]
DESCRIPTION: Chase drives away, and Ryder carries the control box to Rocky.
RYDER: Rocky, reattach this control box under the cuckoo bird. Then change the frequency so that you can use your controller to land the bird safely.
[Arm whirrs]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky picks up the control box using his mechanical arm.
ROCKY: But how do I get up to the cuckoo?
RYDER: Your ride's right here.
[Rotor blades thump, Skye barks]
SKYE: Hook.
[Whirr, clank, rotor blades thump, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Skye hovers above Rocky and lowers a hook on a cable. It hooks onto Rocky’s pup pack, and Skye lifts him. Skye flies behind the cuckoo and Mayor Humdinger, who has his hands over his eyes.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Whoa! Whoa!
ROCKY: Whoa!
[Clank, whirr]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky puts the control box back into the cuckoo.
ROCKY: Got it, Skye! Take me up.
[Whoosh, beep, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Skye lifts Rocky away from the cuckoo.
RYDER: Chase, are you in position?
[Siren blares, tires screech]
CHASE: Ready, Ryder.
[Whirr, joystick clicks]
DESCRIPTION: Skye lowers Rocky to the grass, and he uses his mechanical arm to put a joystick on the grass. Rocky puts his paw on the joystick and pulls it towards him.
ROCKY: Game on. Now, slow down, nice cuckoo bird.
[Whirr]
DESCRIPTION: The cuckoo hovers.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Help!
[Chase barks]
CHASE: Net!
[Whirr, pew, net boings]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder launches the net, and it lands in front of Rocky.
[Beep]
RYDER: Okay, Rocky. Open claws.
[Tense music plays, clicks, slide whistle]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky moves the joystick, and the cuckoo drops Mayor Humdinger.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Ah!
[The mayor groans, boing, thuds, siren blares, tires screech]
DESCRIPTION: The mayor lands on his back on the net. Ryder and Chase arrive.
RYDER: Nice job, pups.
[Whoosh, pups munch, light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In front of the Adventure Bay town hall, Mayor Goodway, Chickaletta, Travelin’ Travis, and the pups eat muffins.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Mmm! Blueberry. How's yours?
[Ryder munches]
RYDER: Mmm. Banana nut. My favourite.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Adventure Bay Fun Days have been so much fun, thanks to the Paw Patrol.
RYDER: You're welcome, Mayor. Whenever your cuckoo clock gives you a bad time, just yelp for help.
[Everyone laughs, Chickaletta squawks]
RYDER: So, is the clock working okay now?
MAYOR GOODWAY: It's even better. I had a few improvements made. Look.
[Clock hand clanks, door squeak, chicken squawks three times]
DESCRIPTION: The doors on the cuckoo clock open, and a metal chicken stands on a platform on the end of a spring.
[Upbeat music plays]
RYDER: That's terrific, but what happened to the other bird?
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, I gave that back to Mayor Humdinger for all of Foggy Bottom to enjoy.
[Dings, upbeat music continues]
DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, the cuckoo stands over the entrance to Mayor Humdinger’s cave.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Groan, dings]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Cats meow]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Oh, I can't make it stop!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
MAYOR HUMDINGER: That cuckoo bird is driving me...

DESCRIPTION: On the ocean floor, the Paw Patrol pilot their subs out of the Sub Patroller. On a beach, people cheer as Coral’s seahorse-shaped sub transforms into a motorcycle.

DESCRIPTION: Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, and Skye slide down the Lookout slide to their vehicles. Ryder leads the pups as they drive their vehicles away from the Lookout. On top of a rocky outcropping, Alex dodges a swooping pterodactyl and throws a pale blue egg to Marshall. Marshall catches the egg and bounces down his fire truck ladder. At the bottom, a baby pterodactyl hatches and hugs him. Chase shoots a net beneath Alex and catches him. Ryder gives the Paw Patrol dog treats.

[Ding, boing, clock hand cranks]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder holds his arms in the three o’clock position.
RYDER: Right. How about now?
SKYE: Three o'clock.
[Ding]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder moves the clock hand.
RYDER: Great, but can you tell me what time this is?
[Boings, whooshes]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder points his fingers up and to the side. He lifts a leg.
RYDER: It's treat time!
[Ding, everyone laughs]
RUBBLE: My favourite time of the day.
[Whoosh, footsteps echo, light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger paces beneath a cuckoo clock in his cave as the Kitten Catastrophe Crew watches him. His large computer screen features his masked cat logo.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Oh, Mayor Goodway is always out-mayor-ing me. If only I knew what she's going to do next, I could do it first. Then I'd out-mayor her!
[Cats meow]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: So, does anyone have any ideas on how I can spy on Adventure Bay?
[Fingers tap, cats meow, click, spring squeaks]
DESCRIPTION: The mayor wiggles his fingers, and the Kitten Catastrophe Crew look at each other. The cuckoo on a spring bounces out of a little door on the cuckoo clock.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Oh!
[Ding]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Ding, door slams, the mayor gasps]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: That's it! That's what I'll do!
[Laughs, cat meow, whoosh, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, the mayor stands on the steps of the town hall. Chickaletta and Mayor Humdinger stand beside her, and a crowd faces her. A large tarp covers something above the clock on top of the building.
MAYOR GOODWAY: I'm thrilled to announce the start of Adventure Bay Fun Days!
[Chickaletta squawks]
MAYOR GOODWAY: We'll be having fun events, activities, and everyone is invited.
[Crowd cheers]
CROWD: Alright! That sounds like fun.
[Cheerful music plays]
MAYOR GOODWAY: And in honour of Adventure Day Fun Days, Mayor Humdinger has donated a Foggy Bottom friendship gift of a new Town Square clock.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah.
[Mayor Humdinger snickers, Cat Skye meows, jet pack whooshes, crowd gasps, clank, boing, spring squeaks, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Cat Skye flies with their jet pack and pulls the tarp off a large cuckoo clock. The clock strikes noon, and a giant purple cuckoo slides out of a door at the top of the clock.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[People laugh, applaud, clock hand cranks, soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: By the Lookout, Ryder holds his arms in the two o’clock position, and Rocky moves the hour hand on the clock to two.
PUPS: Two o'clock!
[Ding, boing, clock hand cranks]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder moves his arms to four o’clock, and Rocky moves the hour hand on the clock to four.
PUPS: Four o'clock.
[Ding]
RUBBLE: Reading clocks rocks.
[Rubble chuckles, whoosh, beeps, chair rattles]
DESCRIPTION: In his Foggy Bottom cave, Mayor Humdinger sits on a chair in front of his giant computer. The screen features the cuckoo clock on top of the Adventure Bay town hall. He types on the keyboard.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Time to give this cuckoo its real mission-- to keep its camera eyes and microphone ears on what's going on in Adventure Bay.
[Beep, clank, wings flap]
DESCRIPTION: The mayor pushes a button, and the giant cuckoo clock emerges from the clock on the town hall and flies away.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[The mayor snickers, button beeps, eye whirrs, Mayor Humdinger gasps, snickers, door slams, soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The mayor pushes a button, and the cuckoo opens the camera eyes and films the sidewalk in front of town hall. Mayor Goodway exits the town hall and walks down the steps.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: There she goes. Let's follow her.
[Whoosh, light music plays, wings flap, camera beeps]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, the cuckoo flies behind Mayor Goodway. She stops at Mr. Porter’s café, where he stands outside with a tray of muffins on a cart.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Mmm! Those smell muffin-licious.
[Beeps, lever clicks, light music continues]
DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger pushes a button and flicks a lever on his keyboard.
OVER THE COMPUTER SPEAKER, MR. PORTER: Thanks, Mayor Goodway. I'm just setting this batch out to cool. Then I'll bring them over to Town Square for everyone.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Wonderful, and I have another Fun Days surprise. Travelling Travis is coming to give us free balloon rides!
[Cats meow]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Ha! I heard that. Now, I can be first in line for a balloon ride. In the meantime, I'll keep this cuckoo circling the area until Mr. Porter goes back inside. Then we can grab one or two or all of those muffins. I mean, they're free. Right, kitties?
[Chair rattles, cats meow]
DESCRIPTION: On the computer screen, Mr. Porter and Mayor Goodway walk away from the muffin cart.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Ah! Why do I ask you anything?
[Wings flap, eye camera whirrs]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, the giant cuckoo hovers over the muffin cart.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Okay, cuckoo. Grab those muffins.
[Upbeat music plays, Travelin’ Travis sniffs]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, Travelin’ Travis arrives, piloting his hot air balloon.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Do I smell blueberry muffins? Hmm. Chocolate chip, maybe? This calls for a closer smell. I mean, look.
[Whoosh, clunk]
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis lowers the hot air balloon, and the cuckoo lands on top.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Ah! Hmm.
[Slide whistle, lever clicks, Mayor Humdinger grumbles]
DESCRIPTION: The control box on the bottom of the cuckoo falls to the ground and lands in front of Mr. Porter as he carries another tray of muffins to the cart. In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger watches the cuckoo with the legs tangled in the rope at the top of the hot air balloon. Mayor Humdinger flicks the lever.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Dramatic music plays]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Uh-oh! I've lost control of my cuckoo!
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: The hot air balloon swerves towards the town hall.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Ah!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Slide whistle, clank, clock hand squeaks]
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis falls out of the hot air balloon basket and grabs the minute hand on the clock on the town hall.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Ah!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Tense music plays]
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Crikey!
[Grunts, clank, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis swings his leg up onto a small ledge, and it slides off.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Help! I won't be able to hold on when it's half past the hour! And that's in five minutes!
(Clock hand clanks]
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Make that four minutes!
[Exciting music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta exit the town hall.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Hang on, Travelling Travis! I'm calling the Paw Patrol!
[Smartphone beeps, Chase boings, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: By the Lookout, Chase stands on two legs beside the clock with both of his front legs pointed down.
SKYE: That one's tricky. Chase has paws on six and on half past the hour. Hmm.
[Gasps]
SKYE: Six-thirty!
[Ding]
CHASE: Right.
[Clock hand cranks]
DESCRIPTION: Chase moves both hands on the clock so they point to the six.
MARSHALL: My turn!
[Pup-pad rings, beeps, serious music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder activates his pup-pad, and Mayor Goodway appears on the screen.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Ryder, Travelling Travis is hanging from the new cuckoo clock that Mayor Humdinger gave us. Oh!
[Cuckoo rattles]
DESCRIPTION: On the screen, the mayor ducks as the giant cuckoo swoops over her head.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
MAYOR GOODWAY: And the cuckoo is flying all over the place!
[The music stops, birds chirp]
RYDER: On it, Mayor Goodway. No cuckoo bird is too fast. No pup is too small.
[Pup-pad whirrs, pup tags beep, upbeat music plays]
RYDER: Paw Patrol to the Lookout!
PUPS: Ryder needs us!
[Boing]
DESCRIPTION: Marshall runs into the clock and rolls with it towards the Lookout.
MARSHALL: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
[Pups bark]
ROCKY: Marshall!
CHASE: Look out!
MARSHALL: Whoa!
[Crash, Chase laughs]
DESCRIPTION: Marshall lies against the clock with his front paws spread wide.
CHASE: What time is that supposed to be?
MARSHALL: Uh... time to help Ryder?
[Ding, everyone laughs, doors whirr, elevator whirrs, dings, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: The elevator rises. The pups pause behind the Lookout badge, change into their Paw Patrol uniforms, and continue to the observation deck. They run out of the elevator and stand side-by-side.
CHASE: Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir.
[Beep, cuckoo chatters, pops, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder pushes a button on his screen, and a large screen lowers. On the screen, the cuckoo flies over town.
RYDER: That was fast. Thanks, pups. Mayor Humdinger's cuckoo clock gift seems to be malfunctioning. The bird from the clock flew off and is now causing trouble.
DESCRIPTION: On the screen, Travelin’ Travis hangs from the clock.
TRAVELLING TRAVIS: Three minutes!
RYDER: And now, Travelling Travis is hanging off the clock. So, for this mission, I'll need Marshall.
[Beep, whirr, beep]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swipes on his pup-pad, and Marshall’s fire truck appears on the screen.
RYDER: You'll use your ladder to help Travelling Travis down.
MARSHALL: I'm fired up.
RYDER: And Skye.
[Beep, whirr]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder swipes on his pup-pad, and Skye’s helicopter appears on the screen.
RYDER: I'll need you to use your copter to catch up with the cuckoo bird and stop it.
[Skye barks, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Skye backflips.
SKYE: Let's take to the sky!
RYDER: Alright. PAW Patrol is on a roll!
[Pups bark, howl, whoosh, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder runs to a pole and slides down.
[Song] Paw Patrol.
DESCRIPTION: Marshall follows Ryder, slips, and falls onto the slide.
MARSHALL: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
[Song] Paw Patrol.
MARSHALL: Whoa!
[Skye barks]
Whoo-hoo!
[Skye laughs, barks, whirr]
DESCRIPTION: Outside, Marshall’s fire truck moves to the bottom of the slide.
MARSHALL: Whoa!
[Song] Marshall.
[Bark, whirr, clatter, siren blares]
DESCRIPTION: Marshall lands in his fire truck, and the wheels extend. He drives away from the slide.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Paw Patrol. Go, go, go, go.
[Skye laughs]
DESCRIPTION: Skye’s helicopter moves to the bottom of the slide.
[Song] Go, go, go, Skye.
[Barks, clicks, clatters, rotor blades thump]
DESCRIPTION: Skye drops into her helicopter, and the wheels and rotor blades extend.
[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Paw Patrol. Paw Patrol.
[Door clatters, whoosh, engine rumbles, siren blares]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder jumps onto his A.T.V. and drives out of the Lookout. He leads Marshall and Skye past a water tower.
[Travelin’ Travis whimpers, clock hand clanks, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In town, Travelin’ Travis hangs from the minute hand.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Two minutes 'til I drop!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[People gasp, umbrella rustles, air hisses]
DESCRIPTION: The cuckoo flies over the beach. The cuckoo grabs a beach umbrella. It drops the umbrella and flies past a raft, scratching a hole in it.
[Fist bangs]
DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger hits his keyboard.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Drat. I have to get that control box back on my cuckoo bird to make it do what I want.
[Clock hand clanks, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In Adventure Bay, the minute hand moves on the town hall clock.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: One minute!
[Siren blares, engines rumble, energetic music plays]
RYDER: Marshall, you got this.
MARSHALL: I sure do, Ryder.
[Tires screech, clock hand clanks, slide whistles]
DESCRIPTION: The minute hand moves and points straight down, and Travelin’ Travis’s hand slides down. He falls.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Oh, no! I'm out of time!
[Marshall barks]
MARSHALL: Ladder!
[Ladder clatters, thud, slide whistle]
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis lands on the top of the ladder and slides down. He jumps to the ground.
RYDER: Nice save, Marshall.
TRAVELIN’ TRAVIS: Phew.
DESCRIPTION: Travelin’ Travis tips his hat to Marshall.
[Beep]
RYDER: Skye, go find that cuckoo bird.
SKYE: I'm on it, Ryder.
[Engine whirrs, tires screech, tense music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In front of his café, Mr. Porter stares at the control box as Mayor Humdinger arrives on his Kitty Carrier.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: That box belongs to me, Mr. Porter. I'll take that.
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger grabs the control box.
MR. PORTER: Oh. Glad I could be of help.
[Cuckoo whooshes]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Cuckoo, come back! I need to put this control box back on you!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Wings flap, whirr, whoosh, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The cuckoo swoops down and picks up Mayor Humdinger by the back of his suit jacket.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Hey! Whoa! This would be easier to do on the ground. Ah!
[Slide whistle, box clatters]
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger drops the control box, and Mr. Porter picks it up.
MR. PORTER: I'd better tell Ryder about this.
[Rotor blades thump]
DESCRIPTION: Skye hovers in the helicopter as the cuckoo flies past.
SKYE: I found the cuckoo bird, Ryder.
RYDER: Great work, Skye.
[Footsteps patter, box taps, the music stops]
DESCRIPTION: Mr. Porter gives Ryder the control box.
MR. PORTER: Ryder, I thought I should give you this. Mayor Humdinger said it belongs on that wild cuckoo bird.
RYDER: Thanks, Mr. Porter. Now, I get what's going on.
[Wind gusts]
DESCRIPTION: Skye follows the cuckoo.
SKYE: Ryder, the cuckoo bird is carrying Mayor Humdinger, and it's heading toward Farmer Al and Yumi's farm.
[Upbeat music plays]
RYDER: Thanks, Skye. Keep it in sight.
SKYE: Roger that, Ryder.
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky and Chase appear on the pup-pad screen.
RYDER: Rocky, Chase, I need you to meet me at Farmer Al and Yumi's farm, and Rocky, bring a controller.
CHASE: Chase is on the case.
ROCKY: Green means go!
[Wind gusts, whoosh, wings flap]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger points to a small pond by a barn.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Oh, is that a pond over there? Drop me there, cuckoo, please.
[Mud splashes, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: A pig jumps into mud beside the barn as the cuckoo swoops down.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Ah! Mud! Don't drop me. Don't drop me!
CUCKOO: Cuckoo!
[Siren blares, engines rumble, tires screech]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder, Rocky, and Chase arrive and stop in front of the barn.
[Wind gusts]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Help! Help me!
RYDER: Chase, drive under that cuckoo bird, and get ready to deploy your net.
CHASE: Chase is on the mayor-catching case.
[Siren blares]
DESCRIPTION: Chase drives away, and Ryder carries the control box to Rocky.
RYDER: Rocky, reattach this control box under the cuckoo bird. Then change the frequency so that you can use your controller to land the bird safely.
[Arm whirrs]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky picks up the control box using his mechanical arm.
ROCKY: But how do I get up to the cuckoo?
RYDER: Your ride's right here.
[Rotor blades thump, Skye barks]
SKYE: Hook.
[Whirr, clank, rotor blades thump, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Skye hovers above Rocky and lowers a hook on a cable. It hooks onto Rocky’s pup pack, and Skye lifts him. Skye flies behind the cuckoo and Mayor Humdinger, who has his hands over his eyes.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Whoa! Whoa!
ROCKY: Whoa!
[Clank, whirr]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky puts the control box back into the cuckoo.
ROCKY: Got it, Skye! Take me up.
[Whoosh, beep, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Skye lifts Rocky away from the cuckoo.
RYDER: Chase, are you in position?
[Siren blares, tires screech]
CHASE: Ready, Ryder.
[Whirr, joystick clicks]
DESCRIPTION: Skye lowers Rocky to the grass, and he uses his mechanical arm to put a joystick on the grass. Rocky puts his paw on the joystick and pulls it towards him.
ROCKY: Game on. Now, slow down, nice cuckoo bird.
[Whirr]
DESCRIPTION: The cuckoo hovers.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Help!
[Chase barks]
CHASE: Net!
[Whirr, pew, net boings]
DESCRIPTION: Ryder launches the net, and it lands in front of Rocky.
[Beep]
RYDER: Okay, Rocky. Open claws.
[Tense music plays, clicks, slide whistle]
DESCRIPTION: Rocky moves the joystick, and the cuckoo drops Mayor Humdinger.
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Ah!
[The mayor groans, boing, thuds, siren blares, tires screech]
DESCRIPTION: The mayor lands on his back on the net. Ryder and Chase arrive.
RYDER: Nice job, pups.
[Whoosh, pups munch, light music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In front of the Adventure Bay town hall, Mayor Goodway, Chickaletta, Travelin’ Travis, and the pups eat muffins.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Mmm! Blueberry. How's yours?
[Ryder munches]
RYDER: Mmm. Banana nut. My favourite.
MAYOR GOODWAY: Adventure Bay Fun Days have been so much fun, thanks to the Paw Patrol.
RYDER: You're welcome, Mayor. Whenever your cuckoo clock gives you a bad time, just yelp for help.
[Everyone laughs, Chickaletta squawks]
RYDER: So, is the clock working okay now?
MAYOR GOODWAY: It's even better. I had a few improvements made. Look.
[Clock hand clanks, door squeak, chicken squawks three times]
DESCRIPTION: The doors on the cuckoo clock open, and a metal chicken stands on a platform on the end of a spring.
[Upbeat music plays]
RYDER: That's terrific, but what happened to the other bird?
MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh, I gave that back to Mayor Humdinger for all of Foggy Bottom to enjoy.
[Dings, upbeat music continues]
DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, the cuckoo stands over the entrance to Mayor Humdinger’s cave.
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Groan, dings]
CUCKOO: Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
[Cats meow]
MAYOR HUMDINGER: Oh, I can't make it stop!
