[Pop]
[Text Reads] Hi.
LISA: Hi, I'm Lisa.
KYLE: And I'm Kyle. And we're the Green Squad.
MADAME KATHERINE: Come on in.
LISA: Thank you.
DESCRIPTION: Lisa and Kyle follow Madame Katherine to the school library. They sit at the head of a table with the class around them.
KYLE: So, what have you guys been doing for your composting program?
DESCRIPTION: An arrow points to a upcycled coffee container.
GRANT: We had these bins that we put into every class, and they just put their compost into the bins. And almost every day we take them, and we put them into brown bins.
LISA: So, all of you go around to every single class?
[Pop]
[Text Reads] Yes.
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a smelly pile of fishbones, vegetables, and fruit appears.
GRANT: It's stinky.
[Everyone laughs]
LISA: Stinky work, but important work.
SAMANTHA: Yes.
KYLE: Do you guys have, like, a cool name or something?
[Tap]
[Logo] Compost Crew.
NATHAN: Our name is the Compost Crew.
LISA: Great name. Compost Crew.
DESCRIPTION: Kyle and Lisa pose, turning their backs towards each other and crossing their arms. The Compost Crew imitates the pose.
LISA: Great poses, everybody.
KYLE: Yeah, yeah. And what do we think that we can improve on in your composting program?
DEAKIN: Most people just sometimes ignore the composting.
SCARLETT: We can like go to classrooms and like give presentations.
SAMANTHA: Show them why it's important to compost and care for the earth.
LISA: Yeah. Also, just helping like educate people on what goes where.
[Ding]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, a hand gives a thumbs-up.
LISA NARRATES: We've got a real hands-on way to help the compost crew get it.
DESCRIPTION: Everyone stands and leaves the table.
[Pops, upbeat music continues]
[Text Reads] What goes where?
DESCRIPTION: In a school room with a refrigerator and a microwave, Kyle spreads a striped, waterproof blanket on the floor. The Compost Crew stands in a row beside the blanket, with blue bins behind them.
KYLE: Ladies and gentlemen, today we are going to present something extra fun before something extra stinky. Right here we have this lovely mystery bag.
[Bag rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa carries a large trash bag to the blanket.
LISA: This is all of the trash that was collected yesterday from the entire school. And our goal is going to be to first weigh it, and then we're going to go through it and see if anything inside is actually compostable versus going in the trash.
[Bag rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Nathan holds a portable luggage scale, and the trash bag hangs off the bottom. Scarlett peers at the dial.
LISA: What does it say?
SCARLETT: It's about...
[Squeak, taps]
[Text Reads] 23 pounds equals ten point five kilograms.
[Bag rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle picks up the bag. Everyone wears gloves and a face mask.
KYLE: All righty, drum roll please.
[Drum roll plays, hand slap thighs]

EVERYONE: Ohhhhhhh...
[Bang, clatter]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle empties the bag on the blanket, and a coffee cup, food wrappers, a juice box, and food debris pour out.
[Text Reads] Ewwww!
KYLE: The recycling in here, our waste in there. And our compost in this lovely bag right here.
[Bag rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle points to the blanket and to the composting paper bag Lisa holds. The Compost Crew sort the debris, putting compost in the paper bag.
KYLE NARRATES: Composting rules are different in every community, depending on the kind of facility they have. Always check local guidelines to know what can be composted where you live.
[Thump, packages rustle, chatter, upbeat music continues]
DESCRIPTION: They put recycling in a blue bin, compost in the bag, and leave the garbage on the blanket. Kyle squishes the recycling into the blue bin by stepping on it.
KYLE: Yeah! So do we think we got rid of a lot of compost that was in the garbage?
[Chimes]
COMPOST CREW AND LISA: Yes!
KYLE: A lot of recycling here, too, of course.
LISA: Let's weigh it.
[Bag rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Nathan holds the trash bag on the scale.
SCARLETT: It is...
[Tap, exclamations, Lisa claps]
[Text Reads] Six pounds equals two point seven kilograms.
KYLE: We saved a whole lot of compost and recycling from going directly into the landfill.
[Text By The Blue Bins Reads] 14 pounds or six point four kilograms saved from landfill.
[Text By The Compost Bag Reads] Three pounds or one point four kilograms saved from landfill.
KYLE: I've arranged some extra special visit so that we can see the entire composting process. And trust me, you guys think that what we did here was stinky? It gets even smellier.
[Bag crinkles]
DESCRIPTION: The nauseated face emoji appears. Kyle picks up the compost bag, opens it, and sniffs it. He closes it and looks at the class.
KYLE: Way smellier.
[Text Reads] To the bus!
KYLE AND STUDENTS CHANT: Bus! Bus! Bus! Bus!
[Cheers, applause]
DESCRIPTION: The bus driver drives on a highway and down a rural street between green fields. The bus stops at a dirt lot, and Lisa gets off the bus first. Kyle follows her, carrying the compost bag, and the Compost Club follows him.
LISA: Hi!
WORKER: Hi, how are you?
LISA: I'm good. How are you?
DESCRIPTION: Kyle waves his hand in front of his nose.
KYLE: A little stinky out here.
DESCRIPTION: A worker wears a ball cap, a black jacket, blue jeans, and an orange safety vest.
WORKER: Welcome to the compost platform.
KYLE: Thank you.
WORKER: I'm David, and I'm going to be the one making you guys visit today.
[Bag crinkles]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle shows the worker, David, the bag.
KYLE: We've got a little bit of a gift here for ya, and we kind of want to see how this ends up turned into something a little more useful.
[Upbeat music plays]
DAVID: Absolutely. Let's go look at that.
DESCRIPTION: The Compost Crew, Kyle, and Lisa follow David away from the bus.
DAVID: Today, we're going to be making you visit the compost platform.
[Truck engine rumbles, truck beeps]
DESCRIPTION: Gulls fly over long rows of dirt. A truck dumps a load of compost into a pile. David stands in front of a pile of compost with everyone facing him.
DAVID: So from the first step, from when the truck empties on the platform to the processing and the final product of the compost, where we can give it back out for free to the citizens.
SAMANTHA: How much compost do you make a year?
DAVID: Every year, we receive 20,000 tonnes of organic waste, which at the end of the year will produce close to 9000 tonnes of compost.
[Pops]
[Text Beside A Green Bin Graphic Reads] Twenty thousand tonnes organic waste equals…
[Text Beside A Plant Graphic Reads] Nine thousand tonnes compost.
KYLE: Guys, that's as much as 5 million hockey pucks.
[Thumps]
DESCRIPTION: Hockey pucks fall into a pile. Text reads, “5 million.”
SAMANTHA: You're joking.
KYLE: No.
LISA: That's a lot of hockey pucks.
[Gulls call]
HAILEY: How long does it take for it to dissolve?
[Pop, chime]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a banana peel appears over a pile of compost. David gestures at the compost behind him.
DAVID: So, from March to November, it's going to be about a two-month period from banana peel to this beautiful black stuff.
[Truck engine rumbles, birds chirp]
DESCRIPTION: The compost truck dumps a long line of compost as it slowly drives forward. A front-end loader dumps a scoop of wood chips onto the compost.
DAVID: First step is that the truck has come and emptied on the compost platform, and we're going to come and add some wood chips.
KYLE: It sounds like this is the perfect place to put our bag of compost.
DAVID: It is.
KYLE: Perfect. So I'll put it ah...
[Bag crinkles]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle puts the bag on top of the pile.
KYLE: Ta Da!
[Machine whirrs, tap, bangs]
DESCRIPTION: A machine drives over the compost pile, mixing it.
DAVID: We call that piece of machinery over there the compost turner. All it's doing is mixing the organic material up. Just kind of making it loose and fluffy.
DESCRIPTION: An arrow points to the compost being mixed beneath the compost turner. Text reads, “Air.”
DAIVD: And that way the air can go through, and that'll help compost the material instead of rotting the material.
[Upbeat music continues, pop]
DESCRIPTION: David leads everyone to a covered area with open ends. He points to the compost screener, a long green machine with side panels. A pile of waste, including plastic and sticks, is at one end beneath a conveyor belt.
DAVID: So, this machine here is called the compost screener. And this is where all the big stuff and all the plastic bags are going to come out.
[Chimes]
DESCRIPTION: At the other end of the compost screener, David points to a conveyor belt over a pile of compost.
DAVID: And over here, this is where all the mature compost comes out. This was the final step in the compost process. So now we're going to go this way, where I've got a surprise.
[Compost Club cheers, energetic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa, Kyle, and the class pose and leap in the covered area.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
[Title] Green Squad.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Outside, David stands with his hands on his hips. There is a machine behind him and a concrete wall behind him.
KYLE: So, ah, David, what is all this?
DAVID: This is a surprise.
KYLE: Ah ha!
DESCRIPTION: A pile contains tires, boxes, rocks, and bags. A graphic in a circle with a line through it shows a person dropping items into a compost bin.
DAVID: So, this is the stuff that we like to keep to show people what not to do. Some of these articles can break our equipment, like the rocks and the stumps.
[Rock scrapes]
DESCRIPTION: David moves a large rock with his boot. A caution triangle appears beside a propane tank.
DAVID: Others are household hazardous waste, like small propane tanks or the gas cans.
[Students exclaim]
DESCRIPTION: Students roll a broken bowling ball to each other. A graphic of a bowling ball and two pins appears.
DAVID: The bowling ball has been here for more than a year.
[Whoosh]
LISA: Alright, everybody, let's say a big thank you to David for showing us around today.
[Pop]
[Text Reads] Thank you, David.
DESCRIPTION: David smiles.
DAVID: That's my pleasure. So, because you guys did such a good job, I reward you with these buckets…
[Someone cheers, chimes]
DESCRIPTION: David gives Kyle and Lisa each a large white bucket.
DAVID: You guys can have your very own compost.
[Compost rustles, upbeat music continues, chatter]
DESCRIPTION: Everyone wears gloves and scoops compost into the buckets.
KYLE: So much compost.
[Chatter]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle holds the bucket, which is filled to the brim with compost.
KYLE: Oh, I think we got more.
[Kyle shouts, everyone cheers]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle holds the bucket over his head. Everyone stands at the top of a compost heap and raises their arms to do the wave.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Shakira, Eric, Lisa, and Kyle bob up and down.
[Text Reads] Green Beat.
[Telephone rings]
DESCRIPTION: In front of an orange background, a black rotary phone graphic rings. A cut-out photograph of Lisa holds a cucumber. She smiles.
LISA: Hello, this is banana.
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph of Kyle appears, holding a banana. He smiles.
KYLE: I'm banana. You're cucumber.
DESCRIPTION: The cut-out photograph of Lisa winks and points to the sticker on the cucumber.
LISA: Oh, right. That's what my sticker says.
DESCRIPTION: Stickers on apples have bar codes, and the text reads, “Apples.”
KYLE NARRATES: The plastic stickers on fruits and veggies identify them and keep track prices.
[Beep]
DESCRIPTION: At a check-out counter, a cashier scans a conveyor of fruits and vegetables. A cut-out photograph of Kyle shows his mouth turned down. A photo behind him shows a garbage dump.
KYLE: But they're not compostable.
[Whoosh, typing]
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph Maya Thiru appears. She has long black hair and wears a yellow hooded sweater.
[Crinkle]
[Text Reads] Friends of the Earth. Maya’s Plastic Pollution Campaign.
DESCRIPTION: A banana sticker on a map of Canada is circled with a line.
KYLE: 11-year-old Maya Thiru is on a mission to stop these sneaky stickers with an organization called Friends of the Earth. She started Maya's Plastic Pollution Campaign to try and get them banned in Canada.
DESCRIPTION: Photographs show children writing letters, and a stack of paper covered with stickers drops onto a desk.
KYLE: Thousands of people join the fight, and tens of thousands of stickers skipped the trash and ended up on politicians desks.
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph of Lisa smiles and sticks out her tongue.
LISA: Talk about sending a sticky message.
[Thumps]
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph Kyle has a banana sticker on his forehead. A cut-out photograph of Lisa smiles. A person stamps “Banned” on stickers, including the one on Kyle’s forehead.
KYLE: Yep, organizations are teaming up to voluntarily ban non-compostable stickers, which is great.
[Gavel bangs]
DESCRIPTION: A gavel hits a piece of wood. Two children wear stickers on their faces.
KYLE: But Maya's goal is for it to become a law so that it sticks, for good.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: The Compost Crew crosses their arms and poses together.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
[Title] Green Squad.
[Birds chirp, Lisa claps her hands]
DESCRIPTION: The Compost Crew gathers on the school stairs, and Lisa and Kyle stand in front of them.
LISA: All right, everybody. So, we had an amazing day at the compost plant.
[Upbeat music plays]
KYLE: Any ideas on how you can get other students at the school to compost better?
DEAKIN: Big presentation.
GRANT: We only present to like a few kids, and then they can tell the rest of their class.
DESCRIPTION: Lisa and Kyle nod.
EMMA: Maybe like making a poster of like what's compost and what's not.
[The music stops, birds chirp]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa holds up a coffee container with a composting poster affixed. The poster features images of foods such as hot dogs, bananas, sandwiches, and paper bags. Beside her, Kyle holds a copy of the poster.
LISA: So, we have made these small, colourful posters to go around these coffee tins that you guys have been collecting compost in. And that way, you all know what goes in the compost versus what doesn't.
[Exclamations, chimes, pop]
[Text Reads] Nice.
SAMANTHA: Nice! I love that idea.
[Upbeat music plays]
KYLE: I think we're also going to throw a game in there at the end. What do you guys say?
[Text Reads] YEAH!
LISA: Okay, let's get set up.
[Text Reads] To the school!
DESCRIPTION: Everyone enters the school. Later, in the library, the Compost Club, Lisa, and Kyle stand facing a semi-circle of seated students. The compost club has a table in front of them.
KYLE: I'm Kyle.
LISA: I'm Lisa.
KYLE: And we are the Green Squad.
[Students cheer, applaud]
LISA: And today, we are here to introduce the Compost Crew.
[Logo] Compost Crew.
KYLE: Who's going to do an awesome presentation for you guys.
[Students applaud, light music plays]
SAMANTHA: Today, we'll be showing you what to put in the compost and what not to put in compost.
[Bin scrapes]
DESCRIPTION: Nathan picks up an upcycled coffee container with the composting poster attached.
NATHAN: As you can see here, now we have our compost bins that are way more visible. And now you'll know what to put in the compost and what not to put.
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of a green bin, an equal sign, and a question mark appear.
HAILEY: Raise your hand if you know what these scraps turn into after composting.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a plant in dirt replaces the question mark.
BOY IN AUDIENCE: Dirt.
[Chime]
HAILEY: True.
DESCRIPTION: A green checkmark appears beside a pile of dirt on the table. A video clip shows Deakin and Samantha shovelling compost into a plant pot at school.
SCARLETT: We're going to put this dirt in our plants at school to help them grow big and strong.
SAMANTHA: Remember, anything on this board is stuff that you should put in the compost.
[Applause, cheers]
KYLE: We have a little bit of surprise. We've set up a game to help you test your knowledge and just make sure it sits with you. It's called ...
[Exciting music plays]
[Text Reads] Waste Warriors.
DESCRIPTION: Kyle and Lisa pretend to sword fight with compost posters. Later, they stand with the Compost Crew and the students in the room with the microwave. A graphic shows cards featuring images of cheese, napkins, a rubber duck, a boot, and mac and cheese.
KYLE: You'll have a whole bunch of cards in these lovely bags. And you have to decide.
[Bag rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle holds cards and a paper bag. Text beside a graphic of a compost bin reads, “Compost.” Text beside a garbage can reads, “Waste.”
KYLE: Is it compost or is it waste? And when you figure that out, you're going to send one of your teammates. Run up here.
[Tap]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle points to two blue bins. One is labelled “Waste,” and the other is labelled “Compost.”
KYLE: Put whatever it is, in the right bucket. Whoever gets all of them correct in the shortest amount of time is our big waste warrior winner.
DESCRIPTION: Three teams of three students stand in a row.
[Text Reads] Team One. Team Two. Team Three.
[Boing, upbeat music plays, chatter, chimes, shouts, clock ticks]
DESCRIPTION: Text beneath a horizontal traffic light reads, “Ready, Set, Go!” The lights change from red to yellow to green. Each of the teams gathers around a chair with a bag of cards. Team one holds a hamburger card. A girl with long blonde hair runs and puts it in the compost bin. A green check mark appears. Team two has an old boot card. A girl with a ponytail puts the card in the waste bin, and a green check mark appears. A brown-haired girl from Team three carries the plant card to the bins.
LISA: What do we think? What do we think? What do we think?
KYLE: Keep it movin', keep it movin!
[Chimes, students chatter, buzzers blare]

LISA: Okay, ya wait, wait, wait till she comes back. Okay, yeah, Ok, you're good.
[Buzzer blares, chimes]
DESCRIPTION: Team three places a candle card in the compost bin, then moves it to the waste bin. An X appears and is replaced by a checkmark.
[Mellow music plays]
KYLE: Everybody freeze! We might have a winner. But first, our Compost Crew judges have to check.
DESCRIPTION: The Compost Crew removes the cards from the bins and places them on the tables.
LISA: Is any of this stuff that they put over here compostable? It doesn't look like they are.
KYLE: Do we have a winner?
SOMEONE SHOUTS: Yes.
[Cheers, applause]
DESCRIPTION: Team two jumps up and down. They dance.
KYLE AND LISA CHANT: Team two, team two, team two.
KYLE: And for our second-place winners…
[Text Reads] It’s a tie. Team one, team three.
KYLE: Let's have a round of applause.
[Cheers, applause, upbeat music plays, pop]

DESCRIPTION: At a table, two children sit side by side, holding lunch boxes. One eats an apple and the other eats lettuce. Text reads, “30 kilograms.”
LISA NARRATES: Did you know that the food kids bring to school creates 30 kilograms of waste per student every year?
[Buzzing]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of six backpacks full of books appear.
LISA NARRATES: That's about as much as six backpacks full of books.
[Buzzing, pop]
DESCRIPTION: Lines of graphics of children appear, and text reads, “Fifteen thousand kilograms.” A cut-out photograph of Lisa sticks out her bottom lip in front of a photo of a front-end loader on a pile of trash in a dump. The photo disappears, and a mountain of backpack graphics has a flag on the top.
LISA NARRATES: Now, picture a school with 500 kids, and you've got 15,000 kilograms of waste coming straight to the landfill every year. That's like a mountain of backpacks. But guess what? Half of that waste can be composted.
[Thought bubble pops]
DESCRIPTION: A person puts peels on top of dirt in a compost bin. A thought bubble appears beside a cut-out photograph of Lisa, and text inside reads, “Millions of kilograms.” Lisa’s mouth drops open.
LISA NARRATES: If every school did this, we could keep millions of kilograms out of landfills. Sending food scraps to the compost bin means they skip the trash and help the planet.
DESCRIPTION: In animation, a compost bin and the planet dance. The cut-out photograph of Lisa holding a megaphone appears. In an animation, a line of fish bones, fruit peels, a carrot top, and an apple core march into the compost bin.

LISA NARRATES: We both had a great time being like a part of the Compost Crew.
[Pop, thud]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, a bowling ball knocks down a pin.
SCARLETT: I love seeing the things that weren't actually in the compost, like the bowling and the T.V. and stuff. I found it very funny.
DESCRIPTION: The graphic of a smelly compost pile appears.
EMMA: My favourite thing was seeing the piles of the compost and seeing how much people actually do compost, but trying to get more people to do it.
NATHAN: And I really liked that I could know that I've taught other people new stuff about composting,
[Pops]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of students with speech bubbles above their heads appear.
SAMANTHA: The people that we've inspired to compost might tell other people. They tell other people.
OTHER STUDENTS: Yeah.
LISA: It's amazing what we were all able to accomplish. So proud of the Compost Crew.
KYLE: And we're excited to see what you guys do with those compost containers and how you're going to be able to put them in every class and just see how that pans out.
DESCRIPTION: Everyone piles a hand in the middle of the group.
LISA: Compost Crew on 3! 1, 2, 3!
DESCRIPTION: Everyone lifts their hand above their head.
EVERYONE: Compost Crew!
[Logo] Compost Crew!
[Upbeat music plays]
[Text Reads] Check-In.
DESCRIPTION: The Green Squad dances.
[Hands clap]

KYLE: All right Compost Crew, let's see what you've been up to.
DESCRIPTION: On the tablet screen, the Compost Crew sits on desks and chairs, and waves.
COMPOST CREW: Hi, Squad.
SAMANTHA: We're so excited to show you what's been going on.
DESCRIPTION: Hailey takes a compost bin out of a classroom and carries it down a hallway.
HAILEY: You put the labels on the compost bin, and I think people have been reading them and putting their food inside the bin.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA: Those labels were amazing. They're simple and effective, great visuals!
LISA: And they are really great for younger kids to be able to recognize very quickly what food scraps go into that compost bin.
KYLE: It's all about awareness because that's where it's got to start, right?
IN THE CLASSROOM, NATHAN: I feel like it's way better because we have way more compost.
DESCRIPTION: Nathan empties an upcycled coffee container into a compost bin.
NATHAN: My compost for kindergarten are always very full.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, KYLE: I think that the Compost Crew of this year will continue on and on and on. And those kindergarteners will eventually be the new Compost Crew.
ERIC: It's kind of like composting in itself, that they are gonna compost their knowledge and that they will grow up right?
OTHERS: Yeah!
IN THE CLASSROOM, DEAKIN: The game you guys showed us, it's really helping kids make the right decisions to put items that are supposed to go on the compost and not supposed to go in the recycling.
DESCRIPTION: In a flashback, the three teams play the compost game.
SCARLETT: I know it's fun seeing the marking with one another.
DESCRIPTION: In a flashback, David shows the group the compost screener.
DEAKIN: I really enjoyed our field trip with you guys. It really inspired me to keep going with this composting program.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, LISA: It was amazing to work with the Compost Crew. They were so enthusiastic and had so much knowledge already, even before we went to the compost facility.
IN THE CLASSROOM, GRANT: I'm really happy that some kids learnt because it makes me feel proud of myself.
NATHAN: Yeah, I talked a lot with my family when I got home, and I found it very fun teaching them about compost.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA: It's really cool that they took everything that they learned and not only taught the school, but taught their families and their other friends outside of school.
IN THE CLASSROOM, SAMANTHA: Our goal was originally to get more people to compost, and with the presentation and everything, they did just that. So, what we want to do is that we want to expand the compost program.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA: So good.
IN THE CLASSROOM, COMPOST CREW: Thanks, Squad.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, KYLE: We had so much fun, and we are so proud of all that you guys have accomplished.
ERIC: You all get an A plus...
GREEN SQUAD: Go Compost Crew.

[Thump, packages rustle, chatter, upbeat music continues]
DESCRIPTION: They put recycling in a blue bin, compost in the bag, and leave the garbage on the blanket. Kyle squishes the recycling into the blue bin by stepping on it.

[Chimes]
COMPOST CREW AND LISA: Yes!
KYLE: A lot of recycling here, too, of course.
LISA: Let's weigh it.
[Bag rustles]

[Bag crinkles]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle puts the bag on top of the pile.
KYLE: Ta Da!
[Machine whirrs, tap, bangs]

[Whoosh]
LISA: Alright, everybody, let's say a big thank you to David for showing us around today.
[Pop]

KYLE: So much compost.
[Chatter]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle holds the bucket, which is filled to the brim with compost.

KYLE NARRATES: The plastic stickers on fruits and veggies identify them and keep track prices.
[Beep]

KYLE: But they're not compostable.

LISA: Talk about sending a sticky message.
[Thumps]

SAMANTHA: Remember, anything on this board is stuff that you should put in the compost.
[Applause, cheers]
KYLE: We have a little bit of surprise. We've set up a game to help you test your knowledge and just make sure it sits with you. It's called ...
[Exciting music plays]

DESCRIPTION: The Compost Crew removes the cards from the bins and places them on the tables.

KYLE AND LISA CHANT: Team two, team two, team two.
