At night, the stars and full moon shine above the Moon family’s mansion. Isadora Moon, a young half-vampire, half-fairy girl with long black hair, pointy ears, pink bat wings and vampire fangs, wears a light purple cardigan over a light pink dress with black stars.
[Upbeat music plays]
A singer sings, ISADORA MOON THE ONE AND ONLY, HERE I GO. I'M TOTALLY UNIQUE AND EXTRA-STARRY.
Isadora spins and waves her star wand.
The singer sings, WAVING MY WAND, FLYING FEARLESSLY, YEAH IT'S YOUR GIRL, ISADORA.
Isadora’s fairy mom, Cordelia, and vampire dad, Bartholomew, join Isadora. Cordelia has long, wavy pink hair, pointy ears and green wings. She wears a flower crown and a green cardigan over a pink dress. Bartholomew has short black hair and wears a black and purple cape with a striped, grey suit vest.
The singer sings, A LITTLE BIT OF BOTH. HALF A VAMPIRE, HALF A FAIRY.
Isadora flies over her neighbourhood with Pink Rabbit, a pink rabbit stuffed toy come to life.
The singer sings, READY FOR A NEW EXCITING JOURNEY!
Isadora dives into the ocean. Text reads, “Written by Denise Cassar. Theme Song by Helen Park.”
The singer sings, SPARKLY AND EXTRAORDINARY.
Isadora swims underwater as a mermaid and transforms into a black cat. Text reads, “Series Director William Gordon. Showrunner Deborah Thorpe.”
The singer sings, YEAH, THAT'S ME, ISADORA WATCH ME BE.

[Light, cheerful music plays]
The episode title reads, “The Wobbly Fang.” In the Moon family’s kitchen, Cordelia waves her star wand over a bowl of plums.
[Cordelia humming]
Rainbows replace the purple colour of the plums.
Cordelia says, I HOPE YOU'RE HUNGRY!
At the kitchen table, Isadora sits beside her baby sister, who sits in a highchair with toy blocks. Isadora’s pink rabbit sits on the table between them.
Isadora says, YEP!
Isadora bites into an apple, and her eyes widen. Her pink rabbit frowns.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora wiggles her right fang.
[Squeaking]
Isadora says, PINK RABBIT, IT'S WOBBLY!
Cordelia flies over to the table with the bowl of rainbow plums.
Cordelia says, TA-DA!
Isadora says, OH, RAINBOW PLUMS! MY FAVOURITE.
Pink Rabbit picks up the apple.
Cordelia says, THEY'RE SO EASY TO MAKE. JUST A QUICK FLICK OF THE WAND.
Cordelia taps a plum with her wand, and it turns into a rainbow plum.
Cordelia says, TRY IT WITH AN APPLE.
Pink Rabbit holds up the apple. Isadora taps it with her wand, and it transforms into a rainbow apple.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, I DID IT! HUH. MAYBE I AM MORE FAIRY THAN VAMPIRE.
Cordelia kisses Isadora’s forehead.
Cordelia says, MWAH! YOU'RE THE PERFECT MIX OF BOTH. WELL DONE.
Isadora smiles.
Cordelia says, NOW, IT'S BEDTIME FOR HONEY BLOSSOM.
Cordelia, Isadora and Pink Rabbit turn toward the now-empty high chair and frown.
Cordelia says, HONEY BLOSSOM?
Cordelia looks around the room. Pink Rabbit points toward the ceiling. Cordelia and Isadora look up.
[Cordelia gasping]
Honey Blossom, Cordelia’s baby sister, crawls across the ceiling after a spider.
Cordelia says, OH, THERE YOU ARE. COME ON, YOU.
Cordelia flies up to the ceiling and carries Blossom down to the floor and out of the room.
[Cordelia laughing]
At the table, Pink Rabbit passes Isadora the rainbow apple. Isadora takes a big bite.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora’s eyes widen, and she lowers the apple. Her right fang sticks out of it.
Isadora says, MY WOBBLY FANG! OH, NO, PINK RABBIT. I DIDN'T WANT IT TO FALL OUT YET. I'M ONLY HALF VAMPIRE, AND NOW, WITH ONE FANG, I'LL FEEL EVEN LESS VAMPIRE-Y.
Isadora plucks her fang out of the apple.
[Spooky music plays]
Bartholomew bursts through the greenhouse doors into the kitchen. Bats fly around him.
[Bats squeaking]
Bartholomew says, GOOD EVENING, FAMILY!
Bartholomew flies over to the table.
Bartholomew says, THE MOON IS OUT. DID I MISS BREAKFAST?
Isadora flies over the table and holds up her fang.
Isadora says, MY WOBBLY FANG FELL OUT.
Bartholomew says, OH, BUT THIS IS WONDROUS NEWS! OH, WE SHOULD CELEBRATE!
Cordelia returns and asks, WHAT ARE WE CELEBRATING?
Bartholomew says, ISADORA LOST HER FIRST FANG!
Cordelia says, OH, ISADORA, THAT'S WONDERFUL!
Isadora says, IS IT?
Bartholomew says, OF COURSE! YOU KNOW, I REMEMBER HOW EXCITED I WAS WHEN I LOST MY FIRST FANG. DON'T WORRY. A NEW SHINY ONE WILL SOON GROW IN ITS PLACE. IN THE MEANTIME, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH YOUR LOVELY FANG?
Bartholomew flies out of the room. He returns with two framed fangs.
Bartholomew asks, FRAME IT, LIKE MINE?
Isadora says, UM, MAYBE?
Cordelia says, OR PUT IT UNDER YOUR PILLOW FOR THE TOOTH FAIRY.
Isadora smiles and says, THAT IS WHAT MY FRIENDS DO, BUT I HAVEN'T DECIDED YET.
Cordelia says, WELL, TAKE YOUR TIME.
Bartholomew says, YOUR FANG, YOUR CHOICE.
Bartholomew tucks his framed fangs into his cape.
Bartholomew says, OF COURSE, NOW YOU'VE LOST YOUR FIRST FANG, IT'S TIME FOR YOUR FIRST VISIT TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST! I'LL SEND A MESSENGER BACK TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.
Bartholomew writes on a scroll.
Isadora says, WHAT? NO!
Bartholomew rolls up the scroll and snaps his fingers.
[Fingers snapping]
A messenger bat takes the scroll and flies away.
[Bat squeaking]
Isadora asks, WHY DO I HAVE TO GO TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST?
Bartholomew says, WELL, WHEN YOU LOSE A FANG, IT'S A GOOD TIME TO GO FOR A CHECK-UP. IT'LL BE A FUN DAD-DAUGHTER OUTING, HUH?
Isadora says, DAD, BAT-RACING IS A FUN DAD-DAUGHTER OUTING. NOT THE DENTIST.
Cordelia says, I HEAR A VISIT TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST IS QUITE THE OCCASION.
The messenger bat returns and lands on Bartholomew’s head.
Bartholomew says, HEY! WATCH THE HAIR, BORIS.
Boris, the messenger bat, leaves a scroll on Bartholomew’s head.
[Isadora giggling]
Cordelia reads the scroll.
Cordelia says, OH. YOU'RE IN LUCK. COUNTESS VERNACULAR CAN SEE YOU THIS FAIRY EVENING.
Isadora says, TONIGHT?
[Isadora sighing]
Pink Rabbit hugs Isadora’s head. At night, Bartholomew and Isadora fly over the town.
Isadora cheers, WHEE!
They land on a sidewalk outside a vampire dentist’s office, and the doors open.
[Doors squeaking]
Bartholomew waves his hand toward the door and smiles.
Isadora says, OH.
Isadora hugs Pink Rabbit and walks inside. Bartholomew follows.
[Crickets chirping]
Inside, Isadora looks around. A vampire receptionist with a green streak in his black hair stands behind a desk.
The receptionist says, AH. THE MOONS. OH. AND YOU BROUGHT A SMALL FLUFFY PINK CREATURE, TOO.
Pink Rabbit glares at the receptionist.
The receptionist says, HOW NICE. TAKE A THRONE.
The receptionist places a tall stack of papers on the desk. Isadora and Bartholomew take a seat in the waiting area. A young purple-haired vampire sitting beside Isadora lowers his magazine.
The purple-haired vampire says, HEY. I LIKE YOUR BUNNY.
Isadora says, HIS NAME'S PINK RABBIT. MY MUM MAGICED HIM ALIVE FOR ME.
The purple-haired vampire says, AH. YOUR MUM'S A MAGIC VAMPIRE?
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, NO. SHE'S A FAIRY. I'M HALF FAIRY, HALF VAMPIRE.
The purple-haired vampire says, OH, COOL! FANGS AND WINGS.
Isadora says, WELL, JUST "FANG" NOW. MY OTHER ONE FELL OUT. I MIGHT GIVE IT TO THE TOOTH FAIRY.
The purple-haired vampire says, OH. WELL, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT WHEN YOU CAN FRAME IT AND KEEP IT FOREVER?
Isadora says, I GUESS. MAYBE YOU'RE RIGHT.
Someone shouts, NEXT?
Isadora looks nervous. She walks into a room with a dentist’s chair and looks around, holding Pink Rabbit. Bartholomew follows her in. A vampire dentist with purple hair, Countess Vernacular, wears a lab coat.
Countess Vernacular says, GOOD EVENING. DELIGHTED TO SEE YOU, COUNT MOON. AND YOU MUST BE ISADORA. WHO IS FIRST IN MY CHAIR?
Bartholomew says, ME, PLEASE!
Bartholomew slides into the chair and leans back.
Bartholomew says, THE FULL RELAXATION CHECK-UP AND THE POLISH, PLEASE.
Countess Vernacular says, BUT OF COURSE.
Countess Vernacular claps her hands, and two bats fly into the room. The bats place cucumber slices over Bartholomew’s eyes.
[Bats squeaking]
Bartholomew opens his mouth, and Countess Vernacular takes a look at his fangs.
Countess Vernacular says, EXCELLENT FLOSSING, COUNT MOON. JUST A QUICK POLISH, AND WE ARE DONE.
Countess Vernacular polishes Bartholomew’s fangs.
[Polisher buzzing]
Bartholomew’s fangs sparkle.
Countess Vernacular says, ISADORA, I BELIEVE YOU LOST YOUR FIRST FANG. HOW EXCITING! HOP INTO MY CHAIR. I'LL TAKE A LOOK, AND THEN WE CAN TALK ABOUT WHAT FRAME YOU'RE GOING TO PUT IT IN.
Isadora says, NO! I DON'T WANT TO. THANKS!
Isadora grabs Pink Rabbit and flies out of the room. Bartholomew removes one of the cucumber slices and watches her leave. At the reception desk, Isadora knocks over the tall stack of papers.
[Papers rustling]
[Receptionist sighing]
At home, Isadora says, I'M SORRY. I WASN'T READY TO SEE THE DENTIST WITH MY FANG. NOT UNTIL I KNOW WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH IT
Isadora sits in bed with Pink Rabbit. Bartholomew and Cordelia stand at the end of her bed and share a look.
Cordelia says, IT'S OKAY, ISADORA. YOU CAN TRY VISITING THE VAMPIRE DENTIST ANOTHER TIME.
Bartholomew says, OF COURSE. WHEN YOU FEEL READY. NIGHT-NIGHT, SWEETHEART.
Bartholomew and Cordelia leave, and the door closes behind them. Isadora lies back against her pillow. Star string lights hang from her ceiling.
[Gentle lullaby music plays]
Isadora’s eyes slowly close. She jerks awake.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, PINK RABBIT, WHAT IF THE TOOTH FAIRY COMES FOR MY FANG TONIGHT?! I NEED TO HIDE IT.
Pink Rabbit looks around the room and then points toward the end of the bed.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, SHE'LL BE LOOKING UNDER PILLOWS.
Isadora grabs her fang from under her pillow. She flies out of her bed and slips it between a shoe box and a stack of books under the bed.
Isadora says, NOT UNDER BEDS. GOOD IDEA.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit high-five.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora and Pink Rabbit lie asleep in bed.
[Thudding]
Isadora and Pink Rabbit wake suddenly, and Pink Rabbit falls off the bed.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora asks, DID YOU HEAR THAT?
Pink Rabbit sits up and looks around.
Someone says, OH! OH.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit sneak over to the bench under Isadora’s window. A pillow on the bench shakes. Isadora grabs the pillow, revealing a small blue-haired fairy with her back toward Isadora.
Isadora says, UH, HELLO. ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?
The blue-haired fairy turns around and says, OH! DON'T SNEAK UP ON A FAIRY LIKE THAT. IF YOU MUST KNOW, I'M LOOKING FOR A TOOTH, OR SHOULD I SAY A FANG? IN ANY CASE, I CAN'T FIND IT.
The blue-haired fairy looks around the room.
The blue-haired fairy flies over to Isadora and says, ANYWAY, HELLO!
Isadora says, HI. I'M ISADORA, AND THIS IS PINK RABBIT.
The blue-haired fairy says, YES, YES. I KNOW! ISADORA MOON! HALF VAMPIRE, HALF FAIRY. ONE FANG TO COLLECT. MY NAME IS MIGNONETTE. NICE TO MEET YOU, ET CETERA, ET CETERA. NOW, WHERE IS IT? IT WASN'T UNDER YOUR PILLOW, AND I KNOW IT'S HERE SOMEWHERE!
Mignonette, the blue-haired fairy, digs between two pillows on the bench.
Isadora says, THE THING IS, I HAVEN'T DECIDED WHAT I'M GOING TO DO WITH MY FANG YET, SO I'M GOING TO KEEP IT FOR NOW.
[Record scratching]
Mignonette looks at Isadora and says, HUH? AW, COME ON. THIS IS MY FIRST PROPER TOOTH FAIRY MISSION, AND THERE'S A LOT RIDING ON THIS FANG!
Isadora says, THERE IS?
Mignonette says, YES. VAMPIRE FANGS ARE REALLY RARE. WE HARDLY EVER GET THEM. AND I WILL GET A MEDAL FROM THE FAIRY QUEEN! A MEDAL, IF YOU DON'T MIND!
Isadora says, I'D LOVE TO GIVE IT TO YOU, BUT I'D ALSO LIKE TO HAVE IT FRAMED, LIKE MY VAMPIRE FAMILY DO.
Mignonette says, FRAMED? YOU'RE A FAIRY! FORGET THE VAMPIRE STUFF.
Isadora says, OH. I COULD NEVER FORGET THE VAMPIRE STUFF. I AM HALF VAMPIRE.
Mignonette says, OKAY. BUT COULD I JUST HAVE A LITTLE PEEK AT IT ANYWAY? I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE! PLEASE?
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, SURE.
Isadora grabs the fang from under her bed and shows it to Mignonette.
Mignonette says, OOH. NOT VERY WELL POLISHED, IS IT?
Isadora says. WHAT? I BRUSH AND FLOSS EVERY DAY.
Mignonette says, LOOKS LIKE IT'S TIME FOR A TRIP TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST, THEN. EVEN FAIRIES KNOW THAT'S THE BEST WAY TO KEEP THE TEETH GLEAMING AND HEALTHY.
Isadora looks at the fang and says, HMM. IT'S NOT VERY SHINY, IS IT? MAYBE I'LL GO BACK TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST TOMORROW.
Mignonette says, I'LL COME BACK TOMORROW NIGHT TO SEE IF YOU PUT YOUR SHINY FANG UNDER YOUR PILLOW.
Mignonette winks.
[Mignonette gasping]
Mignonette glances toward the window and spots the sun rising in the distance.
Mignonette says, UH-OH. SUNRISE! CAN'T HANG AROUND HERE FLAPPING ME GUMS. I'VE GOT MORE MOLARS TO COLLECT! BYE!
Mignonette flies out the window.
Isadora waves and says, BYE, MIGNONETTE!
Isadora sits on the bench.
Isadora says, MAYBE I'LL PUT MY FANG UNDER MY PILLOW AFTER ALL. BUT FIRST, IT NEEDS A POLISH.
[Gentle, cheerful music plays]
At the dentist’s office, Countess Vernacular polishes Isadora’s teeth and a remaining fang.
[Buzzing]
Isadora’s remaining fang sparkles.
Countess Vernacular says, WHAT A WONDERFUL FANG! CLEAN AND SHINY.
Isadora asks, COUNTESS VERNACULAR, WOULD YOU MIND POLISHING THIS ONE FOR ME, TOO?
Isadora holds up her other fang.
Countess Vernacular says, BUT OF COURSE!
Countess Vernacular polishes the fang.
[Buzzing]
The fang sparkles. Isadora frowns.
Countess Vernacular says, THERE YOU GO. SHINY ENOUGH TO BE FRAMED. OR GIVEN TO THE TOOTH FAIRY, IF YOU MUST.
Isadora smiles.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, I WAS GOING TO FRAME IT, BUT THE TOOTH FAIRY WAS SO NICE AND THE FANG WOULD MEAN SO MUCH TO HER.
Countess Vernacular asks, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO, THOUGH?
Isadora frowns and says, I STILL DON'T KNOW.
Sitting on a sink beside Isadora, Pink Rabbit holds up a mirror. Isadora looks at her teeth in the mirror. Her fang sparkles, and she smiles.
Isadora says, THANKS, PINK RABBIT. I THINK I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M GOING TO DO.
Isador climbs down from the dentist’s chair.
Countess Vernacular says, OH. BEFORE YOU GO, I ALMOST FORGOT.
Countess Vernacular claps her hands. A bat flies across the room and drops a medal with a vampire teeth engraving in Isadora’s hands.
[Bat squeaking]
Countess Vernacular says, FOR YOU, FOR BEING SO BRAVE.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, THANK YOU!
At night, Isadora lies asleep in bed with Pink Rabbit.
[Magical music plays]
Mignonette flies into the glass of Isadora’s window.
[Banging]
[Mignonette grunting]
Mignonette shakes her head and says, OOF.
Mignonette flies through an opening in the window and over to Isadora’s pillows.
Mignonette pauses and says, OH!
[Mignonette sneezing loudly]
Isadora and Pink Rabbit jolt awake. Pink Rabbit falls off the bed.
Isadora says, HUH? WHAT?
Isadora looks around the room.
Mignonette says, SORRY ABOUT THAT. ALLERGIC TO FEATHER PILLOWS.
Isadora says, MIGNONETTE, YOU CAME BACK!
Isadora climbs out of her bed.
Mignonette says, OF COURSE! WHERE'S YOUR FANG? DID YOU GO TO THE DENTIST? IS IT POLISHED? IS IT UNDER THE PILLOW?
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, I'VE DECIDED WHAT TO DO WITH MY FANG. I WANTED TO TELL YOU IN PERSON.
Isadora pulls open a dresser drawer. She takes out her fang and shows Mignonette. The fang sparkles.
[Mignonette gasping]
Mignonette says, OH, MY GOSH! SO SHINY!
Mignonette reaches for the fang. Isadora pulls it away.
[Record scratching]
Mignonette says, OH.
Isadora says, I LOVE BEING HALF FAIRY, AND I LOVE THAT MY FRIENDS PUT THEIR TEETH UNDER THEIR PILLOWS FOR THE TOOTH FAIRY.
Mignonette says, YAY! HAND IT OVER, THEN.
Isadora frowns.
Isadora says, I ALSO CAN'T FORGET THAT I'M HALF VAMPIRE. MY FANGS ARE SO MUCH A PART OF ME, AND NOW THAT ONE OF THEM IS MISSING, I WANT TO CELEBRATE MY VAMPIRE SIDE BY FRAMING IT.
Mignonette says, OH.
Mignonette’s eyes fill with tears, and her lip trembles. Pink Rabbit covers his ears.
Mignonette says, OH!
Mignonette hugs Isadora and says, I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. I MEAN, OBVIOUSLY I'M DISAPPOINTED, BUT YOU'VE GOT TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU.
Isadora says, THANKS, MIGNONETTE.
Mignonette says, AH, THINK NOTHING OF IT. I PROBABLY WON'T GET THROWN OUT OF THE TOOTH FAIRY ACADEMY. IT'S ALL GOOD. ANYWAY, GOT TO FLY.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, I ALMOST FORGOT! WHEN MY OTHER FANG FALLS OUT, I'LL PUT IT UNDER MY PILLOW. BUT IN THE MEANTIME, THIS IS FOR YOU.
Isadora pulls out the engraved medal from Countess Vernacular.
[Mignonette gasping]
Mignonette says, A REAL MEDAL!
Mignonette hugs the medal and says, OH, I'M SO TOUCHED! I DON’T KNOW HOW TO THANK YOU.
[Mignonette crying]
Mignonette flies away.
Isadora asks, ARE ALL TOOTH FAIRIES THAT NOISY?
Pink Rabbit shrugs. On a new day, Isadora’s fang sparkles in a frame.
Cordelia says, IT'S BEAUTIFUL. I'M SO HAPPY YOU MADE THE DECISION THAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU.
Isadora stands between Bartholomew and Cordelia at the bottom of the stairs. They look at her framed tooth, hanging on a wall above Bartholomew’s framed fangs.
Bartholomew says, I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SAY IT, BUT IT'S EVEN SHINIER THAN MINE! I'M SO PROUD!
Isadora hugs Pink Rabbit. Her remaining fang sparkles.

Cordelia says, I HOPE YOU'RE HUNGRY!
At the kitchen table, Isadora sits beside her baby sister, who sits in a highchair with toy blocks. Isadora’s pink rabbit sits on the table between them.
Isadora says, YEP!
Isadora bites into an apple, and her eyes widen. Her pink rabbit frowns.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora wiggles her right fang.
[Squeaking]
Isadora says, PINK RABBIT, IT'S WOBBLY!
Cordelia flies over to the table with the bowl of rainbow plums.
Cordelia says, TA-DA!
Isadora says, OH, RAINBOW PLUMS! MY FAVOURITE.
Pink Rabbit picks up the apple.
Cordelia says, THEY'RE SO EASY TO MAKE. JUST A QUICK FLICK OF THE WAND.
Cordelia taps a plum with her wand, and it turns into a rainbow plum.
Cordelia says, TRY IT WITH AN APPLE.
Pink Rabbit holds up the apple. Isadora taps it with her wand, and it transforms into a rainbow apple.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, I DID IT! HUH. MAYBE I AM MORE FAIRY THAN VAMPIRE.
Cordelia kisses Isadora’s forehead.
Cordelia says, MWAH! YOU'RE THE PERFECT MIX OF BOTH. WELL DONE.
Isadora smiles.
Cordelia says, NOW, IT'S BEDTIME FOR HONEY BLOSSOM.
Cordelia, Isadora and Pink Rabbit turn toward the now-empty high chair and frown.
Cordelia says, HONEY BLOSSOM?
Cordelia looks around the room. Pink Rabbit points toward the ceiling. Cordelia and Isadora look up.
[Cordelia gasping]
Honey Blossom, Cordelia’s baby sister, crawls across the ceiling after a spider.
Cordelia says, OH, THERE YOU ARE. COME ON, YOU.
Cordelia flies up to the ceiling and carries Blossom down to the floor and out of the room.
[Cordelia laughing]
At the table, Pink Rabbit passes Isadora the rainbow apple. Isadora takes a big bite.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora’s eyes widen, and she lowers the apple. Her right fang sticks out of it.
Isadora says, MY WOBBLY FANG! OH, NO, PINK RABBIT. I DIDN'T WANT IT TO FALL OUT YET. I'M ONLY HALF VAMPIRE, AND NOW, WITH ONE FANG, I'LL FEEL EVEN LESS VAMPIRE-Y.
Isadora plucks her fang out of the apple.
[Spooky music plays]
Bartholomew bursts through the greenhouse doors into the kitchen. Bats fly around him.
[Bats squeaking]
Bartholomew says, GOOD EVENING, FAMILY!
Bartholomew flies over to the table.
Bartholomew says, THE MOON IS OUT. DID I MISS BREAKFAST?
Isadora flies over the table and holds up her fang.
Isadora says, MY WOBBLY FANG FELL OUT.
Bartholomew says, OH, BUT THIS IS WONDROUS NEWS! OH, WE SHOULD CELEBRATE!
Cordelia returns and asks, WHAT ARE WE CELEBRATING?
Bartholomew says, ISADORA LOST HER FIRST FANG!
Cordelia says, OH, ISADORA, THAT'S WONDERFUL!
Isadora says, IS IT?
Bartholomew says, OF COURSE! YOU KNOW, I REMEMBER HOW EXCITED I WAS WHEN I LOST MY FIRST FANG. DON'T WORRY. A NEW SHINY ONE WILL SOON GROW IN ITS PLACE. IN THE MEANTIME, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH YOUR LOVELY FANG?
Bartholomew flies out of the room. He returns with two framed fangs.
Bartholomew asks, FRAME IT, LIKE MINE?
Isadora says, UM, MAYBE?
Cordelia says, OR PUT IT UNDER YOUR PILLOW FOR THE TOOTH FAIRY.
Isadora smiles and says, THAT IS WHAT MY FRIENDS DO, BUT I HAVEN'T DECIDED YET.
Cordelia says, WELL, TAKE YOUR TIME.
Bartholomew says, YOUR FANG, YOUR CHOICE.
Bartholomew tucks his framed fangs into his cape.
Bartholomew says, OF COURSE, NOW YOU'VE LOST YOUR FIRST FANG, IT'S TIME FOR YOUR FIRST VISIT TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST! I'LL SEND A MESSENGER BACK TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.
Bartholomew writes on a scroll.
Isadora says, WHAT? NO!
Bartholomew rolls up the scroll and snaps his fingers.
[Fingers snapping]
A messenger bat takes the scroll and flies away.
[Bat squeaking]
Isadora asks, WHY DO I HAVE TO GO TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST?
Bartholomew says, WELL, WHEN YOU LOSE A FANG, IT'S A GOOD TIME TO GO FOR A CHECK-UP. IT'LL BE A FUN DAD-DAUGHTER OUTING, HUH?
Isadora says, DAD, BAT-RACING IS A FUN DAD-DAUGHTER OUTING. NOT THE DENTIST.
Cordelia says, I HEAR A VISIT TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST IS QUITE THE OCCASION.
The messenger bat returns and lands on Bartholomew’s head.
Bartholomew says, HEY! WATCH THE HAIR, BORIS.
Boris, the messenger bat, leaves a scroll on Bartholomew’s head.
[Isadora giggling]
Cordelia reads the scroll.
Cordelia says, OH. YOU'RE IN LUCK. COUNTESS VERNACULAR CAN SEE YOU THIS FAIRY EVENING.
Isadora says, TONIGHT?
[Isadora sighing]
Pink Rabbit hugs Isadora’s head. At night, Bartholomew and Isadora fly over the town.
Isadora cheers, WHEE!
They land on a sidewalk outside a vampire dentist’s office, and the doors open.
[Doors squeaking]
Bartholomew waves his hand toward the door and smiles.
Isadora says, OH.
Isadora hugs Pink Rabbit and walks inside. Bartholomew follows.
[Crickets chirping]
Inside, Isadora looks around. A vampire receptionist with a green streak in his black hair stands behind a desk.
The receptionist says, AH. THE MOONS. OH. AND YOU BROUGHT A SMALL FLUFFY PINK CREATURE, TOO.
Pink Rabbit glares at the receptionist.
The receptionist says, HOW NICE. TAKE A THRONE.
The receptionist places a tall stack of papers on the desk. Isadora and Bartholomew take a seat in the waiting area. A young purple-haired vampire sitting beside Isadora lowers his magazine.
The purple-haired vampire says, HEY. I LIKE YOUR BUNNY.
Isadora says, HIS NAME'S PINK RABBIT. MY MUM MAGICED HIM ALIVE FOR ME.
The purple-haired vampire says, AH. YOUR MUM'S A MAGIC VAMPIRE?
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, NO. SHE'S A FAIRY. I'M HALF FAIRY, HALF VAMPIRE.
The purple-haired vampire says, OH, COOL! FANGS AND WINGS.
Isadora says, WELL, JUST "FANG" NOW. MY OTHER ONE FELL OUT. I MIGHT GIVE IT TO THE TOOTH FAIRY.
The purple-haired vampire says, OH. WELL, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT WHEN YOU CAN FRAME IT AND KEEP IT FOREVER?
Isadora says, I GUESS. MAYBE YOU'RE RIGHT.
Someone shouts, NEXT?
Isadora looks nervous. She walks into a room with a dentist’s chair and looks around, holding Pink Rabbit. Bartholomew follows her in. A vampire dentist with purple hair, Countess Vernacular, wears a lab coat.
Countess Vernacular says, GOOD EVENING. DELIGHTED TO SEE YOU, COUNT MOON. AND YOU MUST BE ISADORA. WHO IS FIRST IN MY CHAIR?
Bartholomew says, ME, PLEASE!
Bartholomew slides into the chair and leans back.
Bartholomew says, THE FULL RELAXATION CHECK-UP AND THE POLISH, PLEASE.
Countess Vernacular says, BUT OF COURSE.
Countess Vernacular claps her hands, and two bats fly into the room. The bats place cucumber slices over Bartholomew’s eyes.
[Bats squeaking]
Bartholomew opens his mouth, and Countess Vernacular takes a look at his fangs.
Countess Vernacular says, EXCELLENT FLOSSING, COUNT MOON. JUST A QUICK POLISH, AND WE ARE DONE.
Countess Vernacular polishes Bartholomew’s fangs.
[Polisher buzzing]
Bartholomew’s fangs sparkle.
Countess Vernacular says, ISADORA, I BELIEVE YOU LOST YOUR FIRST FANG. HOW EXCITING! HOP INTO MY CHAIR. I'LL TAKE A LOOK, AND THEN WE CAN TALK ABOUT WHAT FRAME YOU'RE GOING TO PUT IT IN.
Isadora says, NO! I DON'T WANT TO. THANKS!
Isadora grabs Pink Rabbit and flies out of the room. Bartholomew removes one of the cucumber slices and watches her leave. At the reception desk, Isadora knocks over the tall stack of papers.
[Papers rustling]
[Receptionist sighing]
At home, Isadora says, I'M SORRY. I WASN'T READY TO SEE THE DENTIST WITH MY FANG. NOT UNTIL I KNOW WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH IT
Isadora sits in bed with Pink Rabbit. Bartholomew and Cordelia stand at the end of her bed and share a look.
Cordelia says, IT'S OKAY, ISADORA. YOU CAN TRY VISITING THE VAMPIRE DENTIST ANOTHER TIME.
Bartholomew says, OF COURSE. WHEN YOU FEEL READY. NIGHT-NIGHT, SWEETHEART.
Bartholomew and Cordelia leave, and the door closes behind them. Isadora lies back against her pillow. Star string lights hang from her ceiling.
[Gentle lullaby music plays]
Isadora’s eyes slowly close. She jerks awake.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, PINK RABBIT, WHAT IF THE TOOTH FAIRY COMES FOR MY FANG TONIGHT?! I NEED TO HIDE IT.
Pink Rabbit looks around the room and then points toward the end of the bed.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, SHE'LL BE LOOKING UNDER PILLOWS.
Isadora grabs her fang from under her pillow. She flies out of her bed and slips it between a shoe box and a stack of books under the bed.
Isadora says, NOT UNDER BEDS. GOOD IDEA.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit high-five.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora and Pink Rabbit lie asleep in bed.
[Thudding]
Isadora and Pink Rabbit wake suddenly, and Pink Rabbit falls off the bed.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora asks, DID YOU HEAR THAT?
Pink Rabbit sits up and looks around.
Someone says, OH! OH.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit sneak over to the bench under Isadora’s window. A pillow on the bench shakes. Isadora grabs the pillow, revealing a small blue-haired fairy with her back toward Isadora.
Isadora says, UH, HELLO. ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?
The blue-haired fairy turns around and says, OH! DON'T SNEAK UP ON A FAIRY LIKE THAT. IF YOU MUST KNOW, I'M LOOKING FOR A TOOTH, OR SHOULD I SAY A FANG? IN ANY CASE, I CAN'T FIND IT.
The blue-haired fairy looks around the room.
The blue-haired fairy flies over to Isadora and says, ANYWAY, HELLO!
Isadora says, HI. I'M ISADORA, AND THIS IS PINK RABBIT.
The blue-haired fairy says, YES, YES. I KNOW! ISADORA MOON! HALF VAMPIRE, HALF FAIRY. ONE FANG TO COLLECT. MY NAME IS MIGNONETTE. NICE TO MEET YOU, ET CETERA, ET CETERA. NOW, WHERE IS IT? IT WASN'T UNDER YOUR PILLOW, AND I KNOW IT'S HERE SOMEWHERE!
Mignonette, the blue-haired fairy, digs between two pillows on the bench.
Isadora says, THE THING IS, I HAVEN'T DECIDED WHAT I'M GOING TO DO WITH MY FANG YET, SO I'M GOING TO KEEP IT FOR NOW.
[Record scratching]
Mignonette looks at Isadora and says, HUH? AW, COME ON. THIS IS MY FIRST PROPER TOOTH FAIRY MISSION, AND THERE'S A LOT RIDING ON THIS FANG!
Isadora says, THERE IS?
Mignonette says, YES. VAMPIRE FANGS ARE REALLY RARE. WE HARDLY EVER GET THEM. AND I WILL GET A MEDAL FROM THE FAIRY QUEEN! A MEDAL, IF YOU DON'T MIND!
Isadora says, I'D LOVE TO GIVE IT TO YOU, BUT I'D ALSO LIKE TO HAVE IT FRAMED, LIKE MY VAMPIRE FAMILY DO.
Mignonette says, FRAMED? YOU'RE A FAIRY! FORGET THE VAMPIRE STUFF.
Isadora says, OH. I COULD NEVER FORGET THE VAMPIRE STUFF. I AM HALF VAMPIRE.
Mignonette says, OKAY. BUT COULD I JUST HAVE A LITTLE PEEK AT IT ANYWAY? I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE! PLEASE?
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, SURE.
Isadora grabs the fang from under her bed and shows it to Mignonette.
Mignonette says, OOH. NOT VERY WELL POLISHED, IS IT?
Isadora says. WHAT? I BRUSH AND FLOSS EVERY DAY.
Mignonette says, LOOKS LIKE IT'S TIME FOR A TRIP TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST, THEN. EVEN FAIRIES KNOW THAT'S THE BEST WAY TO KEEP THE TEETH GLEAMING AND HEALTHY.
Isadora looks at the fang and says, HMM. IT'S NOT VERY SHINY, IS IT? MAYBE I'LL GO BACK TO THE VAMPIRE DENTIST TOMORROW.
Mignonette says, I'LL COME BACK TOMORROW NIGHT TO SEE IF YOU PUT YOUR SHINY FANG UNDER YOUR PILLOW.
Mignonette winks.
[Mignonette gasping]
Mignonette glances toward the window and spots the sun rising in the distance.
Mignonette says, UH-OH. SUNRISE! CAN'T HANG AROUND HERE FLAPPING ME GUMS. I'VE GOT MORE MOLARS TO COLLECT! BYE!
Mignonette flies out the window.
Isadora waves and says, BYE, MIGNONETTE!
Isadora sits on the bench.
Isadora says, MAYBE I'LL PUT MY FANG UNDER MY PILLOW AFTER ALL. BUT FIRST, IT NEEDS A POLISH.
[Gentle, cheerful music plays]
At the dentist’s office, Countess Vernacular polishes Isadora’s teeth and a remaining fang.
[Buzzing]
Isadora’s remaining fang sparkles.
Countess Vernacular says, WHAT A WONDERFUL FANG! CLEAN AND SHINY.
Isadora asks, COUNTESS VERNACULAR, WOULD YOU MIND POLISHING THIS ONE FOR ME, TOO?
Isadora holds up her other fang.
Countess Vernacular says, BUT OF COURSE!
Countess Vernacular polishes the fang.
[Buzzing]
The fang sparkles. Isadora frowns.
Countess Vernacular says, THERE YOU GO. SHINY ENOUGH TO BE FRAMED. OR GIVEN TO THE TOOTH FAIRY, IF YOU MUST.
Isadora smiles.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, I WAS GOING TO FRAME IT, BUT THE TOOTH FAIRY WAS SO NICE AND THE FANG WOULD MEAN SO MUCH TO HER.
Countess Vernacular asks, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO, THOUGH?
Isadora frowns and says, I STILL DON'T KNOW.
Sitting on a sink beside Isadora, Pink Rabbit holds up a mirror. Isadora looks at her teeth in the mirror. Her fang sparkles, and she smiles.
Isadora says, THANKS, PINK RABBIT. I THINK I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M GOING TO DO.
Isador climbs down from the dentist’s chair.
Countess Vernacular says, OH. BEFORE YOU GO, I ALMOST FORGOT.
Countess Vernacular claps her hands. A bat flies across the room and drops a medal with a vampire teeth engraving in Isadora’s hands.
[Bat squeaking]
Countess Vernacular says, FOR YOU, FOR BEING SO BRAVE.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, THANK YOU!
At night, Isadora lies asleep in bed with Pink Rabbit.
[Magical music plays]
Mignonette flies into the glass of Isadora’s window.
[Banging]
[Mignonette grunting]
Mignonette shakes her head and says, OOF.
Mignonette flies through an opening in the window and over to Isadora’s pillows.
Mignonette pauses and says, OH!
[Mignonette sneezing loudly]
Isadora and Pink Rabbit jolt awake. Pink Rabbit falls off the bed.
Isadora says, HUH? WHAT?
Isadora looks around the room.
Mignonette says, SORRY ABOUT THAT. ALLERGIC TO FEATHER PILLOWS.
Isadora says, MIGNONETTE, YOU CAME BACK!
Isadora climbs out of her bed.
Mignonette says, OF COURSE! WHERE'S YOUR FANG? DID YOU GO TO THE DENTIST? IS IT POLISHED? IS IT UNDER THE PILLOW?
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, I'VE DECIDED WHAT TO DO WITH MY FANG. I WANTED TO TELL YOU IN PERSON.
Isadora pulls open a dresser drawer. She takes out her fang and shows Mignonette. The fang sparkles.
[Mignonette gasping]
Mignonette says, OH, MY GOSH! SO SHINY!
Mignonette reaches for the fang. Isadora pulls it away.
[Record scratching]
Mignonette says, OH.
Isadora says, I LOVE BEING HALF FAIRY, AND I LOVE THAT MY FRIENDS PUT THEIR TEETH UNDER THEIR PILLOWS FOR THE TOOTH FAIRY.
Mignonette says, YAY! HAND IT OVER, THEN.
Isadora frowns.
Isadora says, I ALSO CAN'T FORGET THAT I'M HALF VAMPIRE. MY FANGS ARE SO MUCH A PART OF ME, AND NOW THAT ONE OF THEM IS MISSING, I WANT TO CELEBRATE MY VAMPIRE SIDE BY FRAMING IT.
Mignonette says, OH.
Mignonette’s eyes fill with tears, and her lip trembles. Pink Rabbit covers his ears.
Mignonette says, OH!
Mignonette hugs Isadora and says, I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. I MEAN, OBVIOUSLY I'M DISAPPOINTED, BUT YOU'VE GOT TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU.
Isadora says, THANKS, MIGNONETTE.
Mignonette says, AH, THINK NOTHING OF IT. I PROBABLY WON'T GET THROWN OUT OF THE TOOTH FAIRY ACADEMY. IT'S ALL GOOD. ANYWAY, GOT TO FLY.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, I ALMOST FORGOT! WHEN MY OTHER FANG FALLS OUT, I'LL PUT IT UNDER MY PILLOW. BUT IN THE MEANTIME, THIS IS FOR YOU.
Isadora pulls out the engraved medal from Countess Vernacular.
[Mignonette gasping]
Mignonette says, A REAL MEDAL!
Mignonette hugs the medal and says, OH, I'M SO TOUCHED! I DON’T KNOW HOW TO THANK YOU.
[Mignonette crying]
Mignonette flies away.
Isadora asks, ARE ALL TOOTH FAIRIES THAT NOISY?
Pink Rabbit shrugs. On a new day, Isadora’s fang sparkles in a frame.
Cordelia says, IT'S BEAUTIFUL. I'M SO HAPPY YOU MADE THE DECISION THAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU.
Isadora stands between Bartholomew and Cordelia at the bottom of the stairs. They look at her framed tooth, hanging on a wall above Bartholomew’s framed fangs.
Bartholomew says, I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SAY IT, BUT IT'S EVEN SHINIER THAN MINE! I'M SO PROUD!
Isadora hugs Pink Rabbit. Her remaining fang sparkles.
[Upbeat music plays]
