That's sooo interesting! How do they hear? This question sets the kids off to explore and they soon learn how frogs, fish and moles hear. Even though it looks like those animals don't have any ears at all, the kids discover they do have ears, they're just hard to notice because they are good for hearing underground or underwater. Just like there are lots of different kinds of animals, there are also lots of different kinds of ears!

Hopper, the super talented Common Green Grasshopper, drops some sizzling garden beats like they are going out of fashion in his fly track ,I'm the Hip-Hopper,. This teeny tiny little green guy has very special back legs that allow him to hop really high for his size and to ,sing, a special song! He rubs his hind legs against his wing in a process called stridulation, creating the long song of the grasshopper. It sounds a little like a sprinkler on a lawn!

When Messy breaks the lighthouse things get shady. But without a shadow of a doubt, he and his friends save the day!

Today in the crafting zone, Mandisa shows Zahra and Austen the fun of making a spinning pinwheel craft. The two crafters fold out paper wheels, then decorate them with marker and paint. Once the pinwheel is fastened with a screw and mounted to a stick, the kids give their pinwheels a spin.

Mommy asks the kittens to help her with the cleaning, but Candy declares cleaning is no job for a princess so Cookie and Pudding do it themselves. After cleaning up, the kittens go outside to play pirates. Candy also wants to play, but her brothers say she cannot join because she could drop her crown or tear her beautiful dress. Suddenly, a strong wind blows their pirate ship and will destroy their treehouse if they can't stop it. Candy has an idea but she must decide between staying a princess and saving the day!

Just in time for the holiday season, Mandisa suggests to River and Claire that they all make a winter holiday tree centrepiece. Recycled cardboard scraps and tubes get stacked to form a tree shape, before the kids paint them green. They add little decorations, strings of beads, and top them off with big paper stars.

Sitting on a soft-looking pillow, Bamboo Love is startled when squealing and wheezing sounds are expelled from it. Examining the pillow object, Bamboo Love, with the narrator's help, realizes this is no pillow at all, but a musical instrument called the Bagpipes. Marching to the wailing tones, Bamboo love plays the pipes and gathers her friends to join her in a Bagpipe marching band.

In the crafting room, Mandisa presents a rainbow fire-breathing dragon to Tristan and Colette for them to craft. The crafters use a toilet paper roll as the head and attach multi-coloured tissue streamers as flames.

Polkaroo and Hudson help clean out the pool and and some fun 3D shapes at the same time! They then cool off with an ice cream cone, another 3D shape, to celebrate a job well done!

When Ollie makes a mistake about an upside-down pyramid, he discovers making a mistake doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Tiny and Tall are tired of having to call across the chasm between their mountains in order to communicate. There has to be a better way! Tall wants to build a speaking tube, whereas Tiny suggests miming. But neither method feels quite right. They put their heads together to create a simple telephone system using string and two empty razznut shells. Now, they just need to get the length of the string exactly right!

Riley and Beatrix enter the pet tricks challenge, but they lose confidence in their act after seeing the other contestants. Meanwhile, Stewey goes full Gooey when he’s told he can’t have a pet and releases a penguin from the local sanctuary!

While thinking it over, Tomioka takes our trio on a tour of his family's garden, and proudly tells the story of the cherry tree he planted there with his father and grandfather, helping both Tomioka and Yadina realize they should each present their class with something that's special to their family, because sharing stories about their family makes them feel proud.

The innocent looking Dragonfruitflyus has a cheeky habit of mimicking the noises of other Vegesaurs, so when the baby Pea-Rexes catch on, they can't help but turn it into a competition.

The Drifty Shouters float through Craggy, Sandy World quite gracefully. They may look peaceful drifting about, but their favourite pastime is shouting as loud as they can! They shout so loud that B.O.T. is sent flying! They drift this way and that, so B.O.T. has a hard time keeping up with them and it doesn't help that the volume of their shouts blasts B.O.T. to pieces. This mission becomes even trickier to complete when the Drifty Shouters find a way to make their shouts louder still.

Boomer loves to play 'Boom, Boom Blue' but has trouble adapting when others want to change the game. He learns how to be flexible and try different things. BOOK: Purple Monster One likes red, Monster Two likes blue. But when some red paint falls into the blue can they mix it up, so it turns purple, which they both like.

Pink, Yellow and Red are playing in the park until the clouds turn grey and it rains, making it a grey day! Red is sad about being inside, but Yellow cheers her up by singing a song about how much fun they can have inside. When the rain finally stops and the Colourblocks can play outside, they discover that Grey has been causing everything to look less bright by making everything a duller colour. Together they all play outside and enjoy a grey day even more.

Children visit a rockpool and see some crabs, sea urchins and a rock carving of a fish. They collect shells and listen to sea gulls flying overhead while the waves crash on the rocks.

Craft Kid Miley's best friend Leyla, has a new puppy, Roxy. Leyla needs help teaching Roxy new tricks. Bondini, Super Mighty Maker Chris and Miley make the "Snick Snack Paddy Whack".

Bamboo Love learns how to be a running guide for visually impaired Polar Bear while observing other parasport track athletics such as the high jump. The panda learns how to use auditory cues and a running tether to keep Polar Bear safe and on track to victory.

Morley and the Science Team have a secret message to deliver. Together they build a Rube Goldberg machine that uses the simple machine, lever, and the science of force pairs that successfully delivers the most secret of messages.

Slippy needs iron to fix his spaceracer. Ella tows him to a metal asteroid where Glitch is instructed to cut off a small piece. But when Ella distracts him, he accidentally cuts the asteroid into two large pieces! Ella feels responsible. Slippy heads off to a junk belt to find the needed iron. When the gang spot a rocket with iron parts, Glitch is cold welded to it. As he tries to get loose, he trips the engine, and they take off at full speed. The gang catches him in time and manages to fix the broken asteroid too! Then, Ella is excited to get her own room but Tilly is not as thrilled. She asks Slippy if he can make her a time machine to slow down time so tomorrow never comes. Slippy says the only place time shows down is around black holes. Tilly races off with Madhu to find one. Maggie tries to explain how time moves more slowly at the black hole and how time moves differently at home but it's very difficult to understand. Tilly runs off with Madhu to hide. Will Slippy and Ella find them in time to be home for dinner?

Taviss can't believe her eyes when she discovers the huge Banana Slug, a staple in moist British Columbia. She teams up with slug expert Dr. Kristiina Ovaska and her granddaughter to learn more about this west coast forest dweller. Together, they create slug traps, check out its super poop and sticky slime, and discover how many slug friends are out and about!

Stoneflies, mayflies, caddisflies: oh my! Christian and Sayat are getting scientific as they work with Toronto and Region Conservational Authority biologists to survey the Rouge River, measuring the health of the river through the presence of its buggy inhabitants. If the water is healthy there should be plenty of bugs for them to study (and Leo to eat!). Luckily Christian and Sayat aren't squeamish!
