At first all goes as planned, until the friends realize sometimes life is different than stories -- and asking for help can save you from getting in over your head!

The Stompy Chomper eats crystals from the wall of the cave. B.O.T gets the data needed but the Stompy Chomper eats B.O.T. too! Luckily, the Stompy Chomper lets out a loud burp and B.O.T. is free!

It's a wintery Saturday morning and Elinor, Olive and Ari are getting ready to go out and play in the snow with other kids, but Olive wonders why she has to wear so many winter clothes. This catches Elinor's curiosity, so she observes that some kids have thick fur (like her) and others (like Olive) don't. At the same time, she sees that the kids with thick fur don't need coats, and the ones with without thick fur need thicker coats. They conclude that fur must help animals stay warm. Now that Olive understands, she's excited to put on her winter stuff and have fun in the snow! ---- Elinor becomes fascinated by the Velcro on Ari's new watch and convinces her friends to help her find out how it works. First, they make a list of what Velcro sticks to and what it doesn't stick to, but they need more observations, so they head out onto the playground. While outside, they observe that Velcro is very similar to a burr seed that is stuck to Ari's shirt, which is no coincidence at all! That's when they learn that the invention of Velcro was based off the burr seed. Nature is full of all sorts of inventive ideas!

The Snowy Shover lives in Snowy, Icy World but unfortunately it doesn't like the cold. It has a small duck-like beastie that sits on its back and quacks directions to it! B.O.T. must keep out of the Snowy Shover's way as it pushes an ever growing pile of snow along in front of it. Where is the beastie going with the snow pile and will B.O.T. manage to collect the data without getting covered in snow?

While playing in the snow, Pip and Posy lead Jamila to believe there is a mysterious creature making footprints. Jamila gets upset when she finds out it was just a game so Pip and Posy need to make it up to her.

One day Daddy tells the kittens they are going to watch a meteor shower. The kittens are very excited to see shooting stars but when Cookie, Candy and Pudding go outside, they notice there is a thick fog around and nothing can be seen in the sky.
