There's a heatwave in the valley and all the Vegesaurs are feeling particularly ripe. The lake at home base has practically dried up and the waterfall has become more of a waterdrip, and Ginger and the Pea-Rexes are disappointed to discover that the waterhole has dwindled to a scattering of smaller pools. With the temperature now at its peak, Ginger and the Pea-Rexes trudge over parched ground to find a puddle of water to drink from/cool down in. As they go, they discover a baby Watermelonsuchus, stuck in a shallow pool.To make matters worse, the opportunistic Bananaraptors are on the prowl. Ginger and the Pea-Rexes must find a way to protect the tender little Watermelonsuchus, while keeping themselves out of sight.

It's the return of the Sorting Express and the Colourblocks are on their way to Lime's In between Colour Concert. On their way, they meet Blue and Purple who have sorted all the in between colours of sunglasses for the concert, only for Lime to accidentally knock them over! Sounds like a job for the Sorting Express team, who help rearrange the sunglasses into their sections of blue, purple and in between colours. Next stop is the orange grove, where Orange is having trouble colouring flags into in between colours. It's another job for the Sorting Express team, to make and sort the flags into in between colours. At the concert, the Colourblocks forget to colour the stage. With the help of Yellow and Green, the stage is finally coloured and ready for Lime's concert. It's Lime Time!

One day Mommy, Daddy and the kittens are returning home for New Year's Eve when their flight is postponed due to weather conditions. They have to stay at a hotel near the airport to wait for their flight the next day. Two hours before departure, everyone goes to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The kittens see a giant table full of food and wonder how anyone could eat so much. Mommy explains it is buffet table where the kittens can pick and choose what they want to eat. She warns them not to take too much or they'll get a tummy ache. The kittens learn that even if something is yummy and healthy taking just a little of it is the best way to go!

B.O.T. drops down into Spacey, Glowy World and is surprised when the Wonky Flier squeezes itself out of a crater and attempts to fly. The large squishy beastie can only use the tiny propeller on its head to fly and it does not have the power to get itself airborne. The beastie gets more and more dejected as it repeatedly tries to fly but keeps failing. B.O.T. helps the beastie in its quest to reach the stars and, by doing so, collects the data needed to complete this mission.

Lila tries to map the way home from school, but it's not that easy! After a night spent in the country near by, Choochoo, Josie and Willie wake up on the top of a mountain. Finding their way back to their village turns out to be quite an adventure!

The citizens of Happy Place are reminded about the need to be patient and take turns.
