Split's pursuit of the Chillipede leads to a frenetic and spectacular journey until Split loses sight of the Chillipede in an overgrown root-maze and realizes they're lost, alone, and all of a sudden very scared. As Ginger harnesses her auditory skills as a Tricarrotops to listens intently for Split, the terrified Wasabi keeps interjecting with a bellowing shriek. Split hears the call from Wasabi and they hone in on each other through an operatic call and response. Ginger is increasingly nervous as she can hear rustling in the trees but they manage to find one another and make a mad dash out of the spooky forest and find their way home.

B.O.T. drops down and lands in Rocky, Grassy World and investigates a nearby shaking plant. The plant is home to the Flying Itchies. They all fly up and out of the plant which startles B.O.T.! A big beastie called the Purple Muncher loves the taste of the plant but gets covered with Flying Itchies every time he tries to take a bite. This makes the Purple Muncher very itchy. The Muncher loves the taste of the plant so much that, despite the itchiness, it keeps trying to eat it! B.O.T. must collect data on the fast moving Flying Itchies and keep clear of the Purple Muncher as it stomps about looking for something to help relieve the itchiness.
