The user has the chance to observe what happens independently, but at the conclusion of each experiment, Dana summarizes the findings, by recounting the dinosaur's observable actions and explaining what it means.

Learning is implicit with this puzzle based activity. Players must first plant and water vegetables to grow them as food-offerings. Users can also catch fish and raid a backyard barbecue to get meat. Observing a dinosaur's reaction to the food it is fed, nudges the player toward knowing which dinosaurs like which kind of food.
Dino Express - Dino Dana
Learning in this multi-lane race game is implicit with the various dinos being either herbivores or carnivores or piscivores. Through game play, the user learns which is which by observing whether eating a given kind of food helps the dino get a boost or slows its progress.
