The opening sequence shows the Canadian flag atop the Parliament, a man playing hockey outdoors, a trout splashing off the water, a panorama of Toronto from Lake Ontario, a Mounted Policeman saluting and a view of cropped fields.

A title reads "My Canada."

A group of narrators say MY CANADA!

A kid giggles and says SWEET.

A teacher faces a classroom. He is balding and has short, black hair on the sides of his head. He wears a white shirt and a striped tie. He stands in front of a map of Canada, a chalkboard with a monument drawing, and a TV set.

The Teacher says HELLO, STUDENTS.
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHERE THE
PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA WORKS?
WELL YOU'RE IN LUCK, LET'S FIND
OUT.

The teacher turns on the TV.

Leah is around 12, with brown hair tied-up. She wears a blue T-shirt over a white shirt.

Leah says HI, MY NAME IS LEAH,
TODAY I AM HERE IN THE
PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS IN OTTAWA
ONTARIO.
AND THIS IS MY CANADA.
TODAY I'M HANGING OUT WITH JULIE
WHO IS A TOUR GUIDE HERE AT THE
PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS.
SO JULIE, WHERE ARE WE RIGHT
NOW?

Julie is in her late twenties with shoulder-length wavy brown hair. She wears a blue jacket with buttons.

Julie says WE ARE PRESENTLY IN
THE HOUSE OF COMMONS WHICH IS
THE HOUSE OF ELECTED
REPRESENTATIVES.

Leah says SO, WHAT HAPPENS IN THE
HOUSE OF COMMONS?

Julie says WELL, PARLIAMENTARIANS
WHO WORK HERE WILL ACTUALLY
DEBATE BILLS THAT COULD
EVENTUALLY BECOME LAWS FOR
CANADIANS AND EFFECT US ALL.

Leah says SO DOES THE PRIME
MINISTER SOMETIMES WORK IN HERE?

Julie says ABSOLUTELY.
ACTUALLY ON THIS SIDE OF THE
ROOM, FRONT ROW, 11th CHAIR
COUNTING BACK FROM THE CANADIAN
FLAG TOWARD US.

Leah says SO, IF THE PRIME
MINISTER SITS THERE WHO SITS IN
THE HUMONGOUS COMFY CHAIR?

Julie says WELL, THE COMFY CHAIR
AT THE BACK OF THE ROOM IS
RESERVED FOR THE SPEAKER OF THE
HOUSE OF COMMONS.
AND THIS PERSON WILL ACTUALLY
REGULATE THE DEBATE HERE, WHICH
MEANS THAT HE OR SHE WILL GIVE
EVERYONE A CHANCE TO SPEAK TO
ALLOW IT TO BE FAIR, AND GIVE
EVERYONE A CHANCE TO SPEAK THEIR
PIECE.

Leah says WELL, THANK YOU SO MUCH
FOR BRINGING ME TO THE HOUSE OF
COMMONS.

Julie says MY PLEASURE.

Leah says BYE.

The Teacher says VERY INTERESTING.
NOW, DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY
QUESTIONS?
OKAY, ONE AT A TIME PLEASE.
