Descriptive Transcript

[Rock music plays]

In an animation, in the Lookout, Ryder smiles as he pushes a button.

[Song] Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. Whenever there's a problem 'round Adventure Bay, Ryder and his team of pups will come and save the day.

DESCRIPTION: On the ocean floor, the Paw Patrol pilot their subs out of the Sub Patroller. On a beach, people cheer as Coral’s seahorse-shaped sub transforms into a motorcycle.

[Song] Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye, yeah, they're on the way. Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, whenever you're in trouble, Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol, we'll be there on the double. No job's too big, no pup's too small, Paw Patrol, we're on a roll. So here we go, Paw Patrol, whoa-oh-oh.

DESCRIPTION: Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, and Skye slide down the Lookout slide to their vehicles. Ryder leads the pups as they drive their vehicles away from the Lookout. On top of a rocky outcropping, Alex dodges a swooping pterodactyl and throws a pale blue egg to Marshall. Marshall catches the egg and bounces down his fire truck ladder. At the bottom, a baby pterodactyl hatches and hugs him. Chase shoots a net beneath Alex and catches him. Ryder gives the Paw Patrol dog treats.

[Song] Paw Patrol, whoa-oh-oh-oh, Paw Patrol.

[Title] Paw Patrol.

[Dog barks]

DESCRIPTION: On the title card, Marshall smiles at a shiny orange van.

DESCRIPTION: In front of the Lookout, Marshall washes his fire truck. With a sponge strapped to each of his front paws, he wipes the side of the truck.

MARSHALL: I love spots, but not when they're on my fire truck.

[Marshall laughs]

CHASE: Especially not today, when it's the Shiniest Ride contest!

DESCRIPTION: Rubble stands on sponges on the blade of his bulldozer. Nearby, Rocky washes his truck and Skye washes her helicopter.

RUBBLE: I can't wait to see all the squeaky-clean cars at the beach!

DESCRIPTION: Zuma looks at his reflection on the side of his hovercraft.

ZUMA: Thanks, Ryder, dude! My hovercraft is so shiny. I can see myself in it.

[Ting]

DESCRIPTION: Zuma smiles, and his teeth gleam.

RYDER: No problem, Zuma!

DESCRIPTION: Ryder washes the other side of the hovercraft. Marshall runs over and stands beside Zuma, still spraying water behind him.

MARSHALL: Oh yeah! I can see me too!

[Rocky shouts, water sprays]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall sprays Rocky.

ROCKY: Wet! Wet!

[Water splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Rocky shakes the water off his fur.

MARSHALL: Sorry, Rocky.

ROCKY: Oh, well. Maybe I'll win the "Most Soaked Pup" award.

[Everyone laughs, whoosh, upbeat music plays, sponges squeak]

DESCRIPTION: In Foggy Bottom, Mayor Humdinger stands on the foggy beach by the entrance to his cave. He watches the Kitten Catastrophe Crew wash his kitty carrier with small sponges.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: My kitty carrier is looking like a true Shiniest Ride champion! Ah-hah!

[Cat Rocky meows]

DESCRIPTION: The cats move away from the carrier, and Cat Rocky points at dirt on the side.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: That tiny splotch? Hah! Nothing a little elbow grease can't fix.

(Sponge squelches, squeaks, cats meow]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger scrubs the dirty spot and smears the dirt.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Aw, okay. So what if it is dull and dirty? Maybe the trick to being number one is to be the only one!

[Laughs]

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Another day, another contest!

[Van chimes, Roostario squawks, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie Winnington drives a gleaming orange van with a prize ribbon attached to the front grill. Her rooster, Roostario, rides beside her in a car seat.

WINNIE: Exactly, Roostario. They might as well just hand me the trophy the moment they see this shiny ride.

[Mud splashes, gasps, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie drives into a deep puddle, and mud splashes on her van.

WINNIE: No! I spent hours polishing this! Or paying someone to polish this.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Yoo-hoo! You're in luck!

[Whoosh, country music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger spins an arrow sign on the side of the road. He wears a wide-brimmed hat, a black handlebar moustache, a black suit and a red shirt.

WINNIE: In luck? Wha... how? My truck is filthy!

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Because it got dirty right by Foggy Bottom's best car wash! Truck wash, too.

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger points the arrow at the Kitten Catastrophe Crew, who stand beside a bucket.

WINNIE: That's a car wash?

[Fingers scrape]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger wipes the sign with his fingers.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Indeed. And it's the only one around. So...

[Door opens, slams, light music plays]

WINNIE: Ugh! Well, I am in a pinch.

[Roostario squawks, whoosh, sponges squelch]

DESCRIPTION: The cats jump onto the van and wash it with sponges.

WINNIE: Hey, kitties, you missed a spot. You're just spreading smudge around now.

[Dings, liquid sprays]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger sprays the tires and wipes them until they gleam.

[Tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdingers leans towards Cat Rocky.

MAYOR HUMDINGER WHISPERS: Super slippery car wax! Just wait until you see what it does!

[Laughs, the music stops]

WINNIE: Oh, can you please hurry it up! I have a contest to win.

[Whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: The mayor and the cats move away from the van.

WINNIE: Hmm, I've seen better cleaning, but at least my tires gleam.

[Door slams, engine rumbles, tires screech, energetic music plays, moustache rips]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie and Roostario get into the van, and she drives away. When Winnie drives around a bend in the road, the van tilts onto two wheels. Mayor Humdinger pulls off his moustache and points.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Hah-hah! Now that's how we'll win.

[Tires screech, engine rumbles, Winnie groans, Roostario squawks]

DESCRIPTION: The van weaves from side to side on the road as Winnie drives.

WINNIE: Don't fret, Roostario! You know I won the Most Excellent Driver award 12 times in a row!

[Tires screech]

DESCRIPTION: In town by the café, Mr. Porter wipes the hood of his van until it gleams. Nearby, Mr. Postman, a blond-haired mailman, wipes his delivery truck.

MR. POSTMAN: Washed, waxed, and dee-tailed!

MR. PORTER: I'd say we're ready to take our very shiny rides down to the beach!

WINNIE: Look out!

[Horn honks, tires screech, thunk, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie drives around the corner, and Mr. Porter and Mr. Postman jump onto the sidewalk. She hits Mr. Porter’s van, and it spins across the road.

MR. PORTER: Whoa! Oh no! My van!

[Tires screech, thunk, bang]

DESCRIPTION: Mr. Porter’s van hits the mail delivery truck.

MR. POSTMAN: My dee-livery truck!

[Bang, tomatoes squelch]

DESCRIPTION: The mail truck hits a market stall, and tomatoes splatter on the windows and hood of the truck.

MR. POSTMAN: It's a dee-saster!

[Tires screech]

DESCRIPTION: Mr. Porter chases his spinning van down the road.

MR. PORTER: Farmer Yumi, watch out!

[Tires screech, liquid splashes]

DESCRIPTION: The van swerves towards Farmer Yumi’s yellow pickup truck. She runs away, and Mr. Porter’s van swings around the pickup truck, hitting patio tables and a building with a large drink cup on top. The lid falls off the cup, and pink liquid gushes over Mr. Porter’s van and Farm Yumi’s pickup truck.

MR. PORTER: I never knew that cup had anything in it.

[Horns honk, tires screech, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie drives past Mr. Porter and Farmer Yumi, swerving. Daring Danny X rides a bike down the road towards her.

DANNY: Whoa! Now that is some X-treme driving!

[Engine rumbles, slide whistle]

DESCRIPTION: Danny drives up a ramp and flies over the orange van.

DANNY: Good thing I'm X-tremely skilled!

[Pink liquid splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Danny lands in the pink liquid in the back of the pickup truck.

DANNY: Wah-hoo! Sweet!

[Tires screech, Roostario squawks]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie swerves down the road.

WINNIE: What? It's the truck's fault!

[Tires screech, engine whirrs]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger arrives driving his kitty carrier. He slowly drives past Farmer Yumi, Danny, and Mr. Porter.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: And that, kitties, is how you get rid of the competition.

[The mayor laughs]

MR. PORTER: What a mess! I'd better call Ryder.

[Whoosh, upbeat music plays, sponges squeak]

DESCRIPTION: By the Lookout, the pups clean Ryder’s A.T.V.

RYDER: Wow, pups! That's so shiny, I'm gonna need to wear these.

[Sunglasses click, upbeat music notes play]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder puts on sunglasses.

[Pups laugh, pup-pad rings]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder takes off his sunglasses and puts them away. He activates his pup-pad, and Mr. Porter appears on the screen.

RYDER: Hi, Mr. Porter. Everything all right?

[Whoosh, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Mr. Porter turns his device camera and shows the spilled pink liquid.

MR. PORTER: Not even close, Ryder! Winnie Winnington slid into all our vehicles and may be a danger to others on the road!

RYDER: Oh no! Is everyone okay?

MR. PORTER: We're fine, but our vehicles are stuck together, and anything but shiny!

[Pup-pad rings]

RYDER: Hang on, Mr. Porter. I'm getting another call.

[Beep]

RYDER: Hi, Ms. Winnington. I just heard—

[Tires screech, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie appears on the pup-pad screen.

WINNIE: Ridley! My truck is out of control and headed into the woods! If you don't rescue Roostario and me fast, we won't win! And I must win!

RYDER: We're on our way! No ride is too messed up, no pup is too small.

[Whirr, pup tags beep]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder pushes a button on his pup-pad, and the pup tags light up.

RYDER: Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!

PUPS: Ryder needs us!

[Whoosh, sponges squelch]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall leaps and sponges stick to his feet. He slides across the parking lot.

MARSHALL: Whoa!

[Upbeat music plays]

ZUMA: Look out, Marshall!

MARSHALL: Whoa!

[Clatter, chime]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall crashes into the other pups and sits on them in the elevator. He holds up his gleaming, clean paws.

MARSHALL: Sorry! My slippery paws couldn't pause.

[Everyone laughs, doors whoosh, elevator whirrs, ding, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: The elevator rises. The pups pause behind the Lookout badge, change into their Paw Patrol uniforms, and continue to the observation deck. They run out of the elevator and stand side-by-side.

CHASE: Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir.

[Beep, whirr, van bomps]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder pushes a button on his pup-pad, and a screen lowers. It shows Winnie’s van bumping the mail truck and Mr. Porter’s van.

RYDER: Thanks for hurrying, pups. Winnie Winnington's truck is out of control.

WINNIE: Oh no! My truck!

[Pink liquid splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie’s van bumps into the building with the cup on the top, and the cup spills pink liquid.

RYDER: It's bumped into other vehicles and made a huge mess.

SKYE: Oh no!

RYDER: So for this mission, I'll need Rubble!

[Beep, whirr]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder swipes on his pup-pad, and Rubble’s bulldozer with the crane attachment appears on the screen.

RYDER: You'll use your crane to pull the vehicles free.

RUBBLE: Rubble on the double!

RYDER: And Skye!

[Beep, whirr]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder swipes on his pup-pad, and Skye’s helicopter appears on the screen.

RYDER: You'll use your copter to search for Winnie and Roostario in the woods.

[Barks, whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Skye does a backflip.

SKYE: Let's take to the sky!

RYDER: All right! Paw Patrol is on a roll!

[Pups bark, howl, whoosh, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder runs to a pole and slides down.

[Song] Paw Patrol. Go, go, go, go.

[Rubble barks]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble follows Ryder and slides down a slide.

[Song] Paw Patrol. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.

(Barks, giggles, whirr, clanks]

DESCRIPTION: Skye runs to the slide and jumps on. Outside, Rubble’s vehicle moves to the bottom of the slide.

[Song] Rubble.

[Bark, whirrs, clanks, bangs]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble lands in his bulldozer, and the treads extend. The blade and the crane move into place.

[Song] Go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Paw Patrol. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.

[Skye barks, whirrs, clicks, rotor blades thump]

DESCRIPTION: Skye lands in her helicopter, and the landing wheels and rotor blades extend.

[Song] Skye. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol.

[Door bangs, engine rumbles, siren blares]

DESCRIPTION: In the garage, Ryder jumps onto his A.T.V. and drives down the road. Rubble and Skye follow him past a water tower.

[Upbeat music plays, engines rumble]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder and Rubble arrive in town and stop by the spilled pink liquid. Mr. Porter, Farmer Yumi, and Danny look at them.

[The music stops]

RYDER: Oh no! Your poor trucks! And what is that liquid on the ground?

[Light music plays]

MR. PORTER: Lemonade! Who knew that giant cup had anything in it?

[Energetic music plays]

RYDER: First, we have to pull out the trucks and Danny's bike. Rubble?

RUBBLE: On it!

[Bulldozer clatters, liquid squelches, whirr]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble uses his crane to lift Danny out of the pink liquid, which is lemonade, and into the pickup bed. He puts his bike on the road.

DANNY: You should have seen it, Ryder. I flew over Winnie just as she drove right at me!

[Upbeat music plays]

RYDER: I don't think she meant to, Daring Danny. Something must be wrong with her truck.

[Pup-pad beeps]

RYDER: Hey, Skye, any sign of Winnie?

[Rotor blades thump]

SKYE: Nothing yet, Ryder.

[Clatter, lemonade squelches, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble tries to tow Mr. Porter’s van, but it gets stuck on the lemonade on the ground.

RUBBLE: Oh, that lemonade is sticky like glue!

MR. PORTER: I'll say. I just hope I can get my van cleaned in time.

[Beeps, energetic music plays]

RYDER: Don't worry. I have an idea. Pups, we need everyone down here to help wash these vehicles!

[Zuma, Chase, Rocky, and Mashall howl]

DESCRIPTION: Zuma, Chase, Rocky, and Marshall appear on the pup-pad screen.

ZUMA: We're on our way.

[Rotor blades thump, upbeat music plays]

SKYE: Hmm. Where could she be?

[Tires screech]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie’s van swerves through the woods towards Beaver Pond.

WINNIE: Help!

[The music stops]

SKYE: Ryder, I found Winnie's truck. It's headed for Beaver Pond!

RYDER: Good searching, Skye. Chase and I are on our way.

[Water splashes, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: The van drives up a rock and falls into the pond.

SKYE: Ms. Winnington! Are you all right?

[Water bubbles, boots thunk]

DESCRIPTION: Winnie and Roostario stand on the roof of the van. She lifts a boot and jumps.

WINNIE: I'm utterly devastated, Skippy! Do you know what gunky pond water does to fine suede designer boots?!

[Rotor blades thump]

SKYE: I'm guessing it's not good. But I can still lift you and Roostario to land!

[Barks]

SKYE: Harness!

[Cable whirrs, energetic music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Skye lowers the harness to Winnie, who buckles it on and picks up Roostario. Skye lifts Winnie and Roostario to shore as Ryder and Chase arrive.

[Sirens blare, tires screech]

WINNIE: Thank you, Skylar!

[Rotor blades thump]

SKYE: It's Skye, Winnie. And you're welcome.

[The music stops]

WINNIE: Poochie Platoon, save my truck so I can go win the Shiniest Ride contest!

RYDER: Chase, let's pull out Winnie's truck.

[Whoosh, Chase barks]

DESCRIPTION: Chase jumps out of his police car.

CHASE: Winch!

[Whirr, clatter, cable rattles, whoosh, clank]

DESCRIPTION: Chase grabs the winch in his mouth and pulls it towards the pond. He throws it at the van, and it hooks onto the front grill.

CHASE: Winch, retract!

[Whoosh, whirr, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Chase jumps back into the police car.

CHASE: I think it's too heavy, Ryder.

RYDER: Must be all the water and mud inside of it. But I just the pup who can help.

[Water sprays, upbeat music plays, sponges squeak, hovercraft fans whirr]

DESCRIPTION: In town, Marshall sprays water on Danny’s bike. Rocky washes the top of the cab of Farmer Yumi’s pickup truck. Rubble cleans the bumper on Mr. Porter’s van while Zuma dries the other side of the van with the fans on his hovercraft.

[The fans stop]

MR. PORTER: Thanks, Rubble! It's even shinier than it was before.

[Chime]

DESCRIPTION: The van gleams.

RUBBLE: Thanks, Mr. Porter!

[Pup tag beeps, energetic music plays]

RYDER: Rubble! We need your electromagnet to pull Winnie Winnington's truck out of the pond.

RUBBLE: On my way, Ryder!

[Whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble arrives with his bulldozer.

WINNIE: Thank goodness! Please, Rupert, save my sinking truck!

RUBBLE: It's Rubble, Ms. Winnington, and I'm happy to help.

[Upbeat music plays, crane whirrs, magnet clanks, water splashes]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble backs up to the pond and extends the crane. The magnet attaches to the top of the van, and Rubble lifts it out of the water.

WINNIE: Ugh, be careful not to scratch it!

[Truck clanks, door opens, bumper clatters, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Rubble lowers the muddy van to the grass. Winnie opens the driver’s door, and the front bumper falls off.

WINNIE: No! No! With my truck looking like this, I'll be coming in...

WINNIE, ECHOING: Second place!

[Roostario squawks, siren blares, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Zuma, Rocky, and Marshall arrive.

MARSHALL: Looks like someone could use a wash!

ROCKY: Yeah! But please don't make that be me again.

[Marshall and Rocky laugh]

ZUMA: Ms. Winnington, dudette, we'll have your truck looking totally pawesome.

[Hovercraft whirrs, water sprays, hovercraft fans whirr, chime, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Marshall sprays water on the van. Later, Rocky straightens the gleaming front bumper on the clean van.

WINNIE: Wow! That's truly amazing. Thank you so much, Boney Bunch.

RYDER: You're welcome! Whenever your truck needs a clean-up, just yelp for help!

[Whoosh, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: In town, Mayor Humdinger and Mayor Goodway stand beneath banners featuring trophies, prize ribbons, and shiny red cars.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Seriously, Mayor Goodway, if no one else is showing up, then I should just win! Isn't that right, kitties?

[Cats meow]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Goodway stands beside a podium with a gold trophy on top.

MAYOR GOODWAY: Very well, Mayor Humdinger. I suppose—

[Horns honk, upbeat music plays]

MAYOR GOODWAY: Oh! What a relief!

[Mayor Humdinger groans]

MAYOR GOODWAY: The other contestants are finally here.

[Gasps, siren blares, chime]

DESCRIPTION: Ryder, the Paw Patrol, Winnie, Farmer Yumi, Mr. Postman, and Mr. Porter drive on the beach. Mr. Porter’s van gleams.

MAYOR GOODWAY: And they're all so shiny!

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Hmmph! You should take away points for them being late.

MAYOR GOODWAY: Wow! I think we have a clear winner. Everyone wins!

MR. PORTER: Congratulations, everyone!

[Cheers, exclamations]

MAYOR GOODWAY: Except for Mayor Humdinger and his very dirty ride.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: No fair! Wait! I can be shiny too!

[Sprays]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger sprays car wax on the kitty carrier, and it gleams.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Tah-dah!

[Slide whistle]

DESCRIPTION: Mayor Humdinger leans against the kitty carrier, and it slides away from him.

MAYOR HUMDINGER: Whoa! Oof! Ugh!

DESCRIPTION: The mayor falls on the sand.

[Thud, Winnie scoffs, Roostario squawks, Mayor Humdinger sobs]

[Song] P-P-P-Paw-Paw-Paw Patrol.
