[Canada geese honking, flapping, whistling, birds chirping, exclamation, laughter]

A flock of Canada geese fly over the Wilde Shelter, a tall greenhouse filled with plants and animals. The geese also fly over a veterinary clinic and a two-storey house. Inside the greenhouse, Audrey, a young girl with red hair in a ponytail, stands on a tree branch. She wears a yellow jacket over an olive green shirt, black pants, and brown boots. Audrey whistles and startles butterflies. Standing on a nearby rock, Tommy watches as Jack, a gorilla, lands on the branch beside Audrey. Tommy wears a pale blue long-sleeve shirt and pale grey pants. His dark brown curly hair is short.

[Upbeat music plays, animals hooting]

Audrey swings on a vine with a golden lion tamarin clinging to her head. Tommy rides on Jack’s back as Jack swings from a second vine.

A person sings, OH, CAN YOU HEAR THEM, ANIMALS ARE CALLING. THEY ARE IN DANGER.

[Rustling]

Audrey stands as she slides down a rock past Karl and Pat. Karl, a slender young man with black hair and eyeglasses, watches Audrey slide past. Pat bottle-feeds a large grey kitten with black spots. Her black hair is pulled into a ponytail. Tommy rides Jack down the rock. Created by Sylvain Huchet. Developed by Amy Brown. Designed by Sophie Castaignede, Remy Chanfreau, Benjamin Flouw, Nicolas Meneteau. In partnership with UNESCO.

At the bottom of the sloped rock, Audrey runs past her parents and a giant panda. Audrey’s mom, Sonia, holds a blue clipboard. Her curly red hair is pulled into a ponytail. She wears a pink jacket, a blue shirt, and brown pants. Audrey’s dad, Hector, holds a bamboo shoot. He has short black hair, a dark grey beard, and a stethoscope around his neck.

The singer sings, NATURE'S OUR PASSION, READY FOR ACTION.

Audrey and Jack, still carrying Tommy, run past Jonas, a man with curly red hair. He lifts a rake over his head and spins as they pass.

[Upbeat music plays, birds chirping, bicycle rattling, grunting, sighing]

The tall iron gates in front of the Shelter are open. Tommy sweats heavily as he rides his bicycle down the path, drops it in front of the greenhouse, and walks inside.

[The music stops]

Tommy says, PHEW!

[Birds chirping]

Tommy looks around the deserted jungle.

Tommy shouts, IS ANYONE HERE?

[Light music plays, water splashing]

Tommy says, WHERE'D THEY ALL GO? UH... HM?

[Rustling]

Tommy looks at a hose attached to a tap. The other end disappears under bushes. He follows it along a path to where the hose goes up into a tree.

Tommy says, HELLO?

Audrey says, HELLO, TOMMY!

[Whooshing, shouting, grunting]

Audrey pops out of a bush beside Tommy, and he startles and falls.

Tommy says, AH, HI THERE, AUDREY. WHAT'S GOING ON AROUND HERE? IT'S SO QUIET TODAY, IT'S WEIRD.

[Water splashing, ribbiting]

Audrey uses the hose and pours water on frogs in a dry riverbed.

Audrey says, YEAH, IT'S BECAUSE OF THE HEAT. THE ANIMALS ARE STAYING IN THE SHADE SO THEY DON'T GET TOO HOT.

[The water stops splashing, tense music plays]

Audrey says, UH-OH. THAT IS NOT A GOOD SIGN.

[Rattling, splashing, exclaiming, Audrey laughing, water dripping]

Tommy looks into the hose, it sprays water on his face, and then stops flowing.

In the distance, Hector asks, HOW COME?

[Rustling, footsteps pattering]

In a clearing, Sonia watches Hector pace as he speaks on a cellphone.

Hector says, MM-HMM. I SEE. MM-HMM.

Audrey and Tommy arrive.

Audrey asks, HEY MOM, WHAT'S GOING ON?

Sonia says, THEY'VE CUT OUR WATER OFF. IN THE MIDDLE OF A HEATWAVE! TALK ABOUT BAD LUCK!

[Birds chirping]

Hector says, APPARENTLY, A MAIN WATER PIPE BROKE IN THE CITY, AND THEY CAN'T REPAIR IT UNTIL TOMORROW.

Audrey says, WHAT? BUT WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO, THE ANIMALS NEED WATER!

[Pat clapping her hands]

Nearby, Pat holds a cooler under her arm.

Pat says, COME ON, NO TIME TO DILLYDALLY. WE'LL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO KEEP THE ANIMALS COOL! KARL AND I WILL PUT UP CANOPIES IN THE GREENHOUSE TO HELP SHADE THEM.

Sonia says, AWESOME. WE'LL GO TO THE CITY TO GET BOTTLED WATER.

[Footsteps crunching, light music plays, whooshing, Tommy exclaiming]

Audrey waves her hand.

Audrey says, WAIT A SEC! WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO? WE WANNA HELP!

[Plinking, Tommy and Audrey groaning, Tommy grunting, whooshing]

Audrey and Tommy slump. Pat gives the cooler to Tommy.

Pat says, YOU CAN GIVE THIS FRUIT OUT TO THE ANIMALS! THEY'RE NICE AND FRESH!

[Exclaiming, thumping]

Tommy drops the cooler and falls.

Tommy says, WELL THEN, LOOKS LIKE WE'RE FRUIT SELLERS NOW.

Tommy sweats as he pushes the cooler on a path.

Tommy shouts, FRESH FRUIT! WHO WANTS SOME OF MY FRESH, YUMMY FRUIT? STRAIGHT OUT OF THE REFRIGERATOR!

[Rustling, whooshing]

Audrey stands in the bushes and pokes her head down from the treetops.

Audrey shouts, YES, VERY FRESH! FRESH, YUMMY FRUIT! WHO WANTS SOME NICE JUICY FRUIT?

[Rustling, Babou hooting]

In a bush, Babou, a proboscis monkey, watches Tommy push the fruit cooler past with Audrey crouching on top.

Audrey shouts, THEY'RE COOL AND FRESH!

[Bright music plays]

Tommy takes a banana out of the cooler.

Tommy says, OOH!

[Marcelo chittering, thumping]

Tommy offers Marcelo, a golden lion tamarin, the banana, and Marcelo hops excitedly on a branch. Marcelo grabs the banana and hugs it.

Tommy asks, DO YOU WANT IT?

Audrey says, YEAH!

[Rustling, Paco grunting, Rina squeaking]

Audrey puts fruit on a birdhouse, and Paco, a kakapo, pokes his head out. She offers half a melon to Rina, a rhinoceros.

Audrey says, THIS IS FOR YOU, RINA!

[Chomping, Tommy and Audrey laughing, slide whistle, rustling]

Rina eats part of the fruit. Behind Tommy, Babou reaches down from a tree and takes fruit from the cooler.

Tommy says, OH? HM.

[Jack grumbling, leaves rustling, wheels rustling, Audrey giggling]

In a clearing, Jack sits against a tree by a tire swing. Nearby, Audrey pushes leaves aside on a bush and gestures for Tommy to follow her. She runs to Jack with Tommy pushing the cooler behind her. Jack leans back against the tree, sweating heavily.

Audrey says, OH JACK! THERE YOU ARE! ARE YOU OKAY? HUH?

[Whooshing, light music plays]

Tommy says, HERE'S A NICE FRESH BANANA FOR YOU, JACK!

[Thumping]

Jack signs for Audrey to peel the banana, and she takes it from Tommy.

Audrey says, ALRIGHT, I'LL PEEL IT THIS ONE TIME, BUT JUST BECAUSE IT'S FOR YOU.

[Slide whistle, chewing, rustling, squelching]

Audrey bites the end off the peel, spits it onto the ground, and pulls out the banana. Tommy frowns.

Audrey says, TA-DAH!

[Hooting, rustling, chewing, gulping, whimpering]

Babou takes fruit from the cooler. Jack eats the banana and signs to Audrey.

Audrey says, OH, YOU WANT ANOTHER? I'M SORRY, JACK. IF I GIVE YOU ANOTHER ONE, THERE WON'T BE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE.

[Grumbling, rustling]

Jack turns and sits with his back to Audrey.

Audrey says, OH JACK, DON'T BE LIKE THAT...

Tommy says, THE POOR GUY. WITH ALL THAT HAIR, HE'S GONNA ROAST OUT HERE.

Audrey says, WE'LL COME BACK IF THERE'S ANY FRUIT LEFT, WE PROMISE!

[Hooting, thumping]

Babou takes an armful of fruit from the cooler, and the lid shuts.

Audrey says, IT'S BETTER TO LEAVE HIM ALONE WHEN HE'S IN A BAD MOOD. SEE YOU LATER, JACK!

[Jack grumbling, lid clicking, Tommy whistling, exclaiming]

Later, Tommy opens the cooler.

Tommy says, OH! WHERE'D ALL THE FRUIT GO? THE ONLY ONE LEFT IS THIS MANGO!

[Tommy gasping, Babou hooting, rustling]

Babou takes the mango from Tommy.

Tommy says, THE THIEF!

[Chewing]

Babou eats the mango.

Audrey says, BABOU! ARE YOU THE ONE WHO'S BEEN STEALING THE FRUIT?

Tommy says, WOWEE! I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A PROBOSCIS MONKEY AT THE REFUGE!

Audrey says, HE COMES FROM BORNEO. HE'S A REAL LITTLE PRANKSTER!

[Babou hooting, leaves rustling]

Babou dangles from a branch and shakes it.

Tommy says, THE HEAT DOESN'T SEEM TO BOTHER YOU AT ALL, DOES IT?

[Dripping]

Water drips off Babou’s elbow and lands on Tommy.

Tommy says, HE'S ALL WET!

Audrey says, LOOKS LIKE HE JUST GOT OUT OF THE WATER.

Tommy says, IMPOSSIBLE, ALL THE WATERING HOLES ARE DRY IN THE GREENHOUSE!

Audrey says, MAYBE HE FOUND ANOTHER WATER SOURCE THAT WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT!

[Babou hooting, thumping]

Babou looks into the empty cooler.

Tommy says, YEAH...IT'S TRUE, PROBOSCIS SURE LOVE THE WATER, I SAW A T.V. REPORT ON IT.

[Whooshing, thumping, leaves rustling, tense music plays]

Babou knocks over the cooler and jumps up into the trees.

Audrey says, BABOU, WAIT! I WANT TO KNOW WHERE HE FOUND WATER. THEN WE COULD SHARE IT WITH THE OTHER ANIMALS!

[Creaking, whooshing, exclaiming]

Audrey grabs a vine and swings after Babou, and Tommy follows her on the ground.

Tommy says, HEY! THAT'S CHEATING!

[Tommy panting, grunting, upbeat music plays]

Audrey says, BABOU! OVER THERE!

[Tommy panting, grunting, leaves rustling, thumping, Babou hooting]

Babou swings from tree to tree, and Audrey and Tommy follow him.

Audrey shouts, BABOU!

Tommy says, STOP! TIME OUT! I CAN'T RUN ANYMORE.

[Thumping, exclaiming, rustling, thumping, grunting]

Tommy trips and falls. Audrey loses her grip on a vine and falls on Tommy.

Audrey says, AH! UGH, HE GOT AWAY!

[Tommy groaning, birds chirping, whooshing, Karl grunting, canopy creaking]

At the Big Rock, Karl stands at the top of a ladder and stretches a canopy between trees.

Pat says, MORE TO THE RIGHT! MORE! MORE!

[Slide whistle, snapping, trees rustling, screaming, thumping, Karl whimpering, Sophie grunting, hand slapping, canopy rustling]

Karl slips off the ladder, and it lands beside Pat. She looks up at Karl, clinging to a branch beside Sophie the sloth. Pat face palms, and the corner of the canopy falls onto her face. Audrey and Tommy arrive, and Pat lifts the canopy off her face.

Audrey says, HEY! HAVE YOU SEEN BABOU? WE'VE GOT TO FIND HIM!

[Whooshing]

Pat says, NO. HE'S NOT AROUND HERE.

[Whooshing]

Audrey grabs Tommy’s arm and pulls him away.

Tommy says, TOO BAD! THANKS ANYWAY!

Pat says, HEY, NOT SO FAST!

[Screaming, splashing]

Karl falls into the mud and sits up with a toad on his head.

Karl says, HELP!

[Karl chuckling, toad chittering]

Pat says, HUH? WHERE'D THEY GO? OH.

[Water splashing, rustling]

Elsewhere, Sonia kneels beside a pond and pours a jug of water. Audrey appears in the bush beside her.

Sonia says, HUH?

Audrey says, HEY, DAD! HAVE YOU SEEN—

[Thumping, water splashing]

Hector puts a jug on a cart.

Sonia says, AUDREY, WE'RE REALLY BUSY RIGHT NOW.

Audrey says, MOM, DAD, YOU'VE GOT TO LISTEN! I THINK THAT BABOU'S FOUND ANOTHER WATER SOURCE SOMEWHERE!

[Hector and Sonia laughing]

Hector says, THANKS, SWEETIE, BUT IF THERE'S ANOTHER WATER SOURCE, WE WOULD KNOW ABOUT IT.

[Audrey grumbling]

Audrey crosses her arms.

Audrey says, WE'RE GONNA FIND IT, YOU'LL SEE! COME ON, TOMMY!

[Whooshing, bright music plays, leaves rustling]

Audrey grabs Tommy’s arm.

In the greenhouse, on a treetop, Audrey shouts, BABOU!

Beside rocks, Tommy shouts, BABOU! WHERE'RE YOU?

[Whooshing, rustling]

Audrey swings on a vine.

Audrey shouts, BABOU!

[Creaking, popping]

Tommy looks beneath a turtle, and the turtle pokes their head out of their shell.

Tommy says, BABOU? OH, OOPS! SORRY, BUD.

Audrey shouts, BABOU!

[Audrey sighing, birds chirping]

Later, Audrey and Tommy walk beside Big Rock.

Audrey says, WE'VE LOOKED EVERYWHERE! HE'S DISAPPEARED!

[Rustling]

Both say, HMM?

Tommy says, OH NO, I JUST STEPPED IN POO.

[Audrey giggling]

Tommy says, AWESOME.

[Whooshing]

Audrey says, WAIT!

[Audrey sniffing, rustling, birds chirping]

Audrey leans down and sniffs the feces.

Audrey says, IT'S NOT JUST ANY OLD POO! IT'S BABOU'S POO! AND IT'S FRESH!

Tommy says, BLECH!

[Footsteps crunching, light music plays]

Audrey says, THAT MEANS HE'S CLOSE BY!

Tommy says, LIKE WHERE? YOU KNOW, I READ IN MY ENCYCLOPEDIA THAT THE PROBOSCIS TEND TO GO—

[Babou hooting]

Audrey says, SHH! IT'S HIM!

Tommy asks, BUT WHERE IS HE? IS HE IN THE ROCKS?

[Rustling, Babou hooting]

Audrey puts her ear against a rock.

Audrey says, I CAN HEAR HIM! NICE GOING, TOMMY!

Tommy says, I WAS JUST KIDDING. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? HOW CAN HE BE INSIDE THERE?

Audrey says, HE WAS LOOKING FOR SHADE AND HE FOUND AN OPENING SOMEWHERE. BABOU! I'VE GOT SOME FRUIT FOR YOU!

[Babou hooting, thumping]

Audrey says, I THINK HE'S COMING!

[Thumping, Tommy and Audrey exclaiming]

Babou lands between Audrey and Tommy.

Tommy says, THERE HE IS, HE'S HERE!

[Babou chittering]

Audrey says, UH... SORRY, BABOU. I WAS JOKING ABOUT THE FRUIT. I DON'T HAVE ANY. YOU ATE THEM ALL.

[Water dripping]

Babou holds out his arm, and water drips from it.

Tommy says, LOOK! HE'S ALL WET! THAT MUST MEAN THAT...

Audrey and Tommy say, THE WATER SOURCE IS INSIDE THESE ROCKS!

[Babou squawking, rustling]

Babou runs away.

Audrey says, WATCH WHICH WAY HE GOES!

[Rustling, whooshing, Babou squawking]

Babou jumps from tree to tree and then jumps to a small opening between rocks.

Tommy says, OH NO. WE'RE NEVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO FOLLOW HIM THAT WAY.

Audrey says, THERE MUST BE ANOTHER WAY IN! WE JUST HAVE TO FIND IT!

[Bright music plays, thumping, rumbling, rustling]

Audrey and Tommy walk around the base of Big Rock. Audrey stops and looks at the rocks. Tommy pulls on vines.

Tommy says, HMM? WHOA!

[Rumbling, crashing]

Rocks fall, and Tommy looks at a hidden doorway behind a tall rock.

Tommy says, AUDREY! LOOK!

Audrey says, WELL DONE, TOMMY! HOLD ON. LET THE EXPERT HANDLE IT!

[Groaning, whooshing, thumping, birds chirping]

Audrey pushes against the rock and pulls it. She stops and sits on the rock.

Audrey says, OKAY, THE EXPERT NEEDS A HELPING HAND.

Tommy says, BUT WHO ARE WE GOING TO ASK? EVEN IF THEY BELIEVED US, PAT AND YOUR PARENTS ARE TOO BUSY TO HELP US OUT.

[Scraping]

Audrey slides down the side of the rock.

Audrey says, WELL, I'VE GOT SOMEBODY ELSE IN MIND, BUT I'M NOT SURE HE'LL WANT TO DO IT.

[Jack grumbling, birds chirping, light music plays]

In the clearing, Jack sits at the base of the tree, sweating.

Audrey says, PRETTY PLEASE... OH, COME ON, JACK, DON'T TELL ME YOU WOULDN'T LOVE TO HAVE SOME NICE, COOL, FRESH WATER!

Tommy says, IF YOU HELP US OUT, YOU COULD EVEN MAYBE BATHE IN IT!

Audrey says, LISTEN, I'M SORRY ABOUT BEFORE... BUT YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO'S FEELING THE HEAT AROUND HERE. AND IF WE FIND THE WATER, YOU'LL BE HELPING YOUR FRIENDS OUT TOO!

[Jack grumbling]

Audrey says, OH, COME ON, JACK, DO IT FOR ME. PRETTY PLEASE!

[Jack grumbling]

Audrey looks at Jack with big eyes, and he stands.

Audrey says, YAY! THANKS, JACK!

[Jack snorting, rustling, Audrey chuckling]

Audrey hugs Jack, and he moves her away.

Audrey says, AH, YEAH, IT'S TOO HOT. SORRY.

[Whooshing, rocks clattering, bright music plays]

Jack throws rocks away from the doorway.

Tommy says, I'LL MOVE THIS ONE OUT OF THE WAY.

[Grunting]

Tommy pulls on a rock. He sweats and holds his back.

Tommy says, OR MAYBE NOT.

[Audrey giggling, creaking, thudding, exclaiming, birds chirping, whooshing]

Jack pulls the tall rock out of the doorway, and everyone looks into a cave.

Audrey says, AWESOME! GOOD JOB, JACK! YOU'RE THE BEST! LET'S GO!

[Footsteps thumping, Jack snorting, intriguing music plays, Jack vocalizing]

They enter the cave and walk together.

[Water gurgling]

Everyone stops walking.

Audrey and Tommy say, WOW!

[The music stops, footsteps thudding, crow cawing, thudding, slamming, Hector and Sonia panting, insects chittering]

In front of the greenhouse, Hector and Sonia put the empty jugs into the back of the truck, and Hector pulls down a panel. Hector leans against the back of the truck, and Sonia sits on the rear bumper. Tommy and Audrey arrive.

Hector asks, WHAT IS IT, KIDS? IS THIS ABOUT THAT IMAGINARY WATER SOURCE? WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME. WE HAVE TO GO AND GET MORE WATER IN TOWN.

[Light music plays]

Audrey says, YES, BUT THIS TIME, WE FOUND IT! AND WE CAN PROVE IT!

[Bucket banging, water splashing]

Audrey puts a bucket of water on the ground. Sonia dips her hand into the bucket.

Sonia says, OKAY! WHY DON'T YOU SHOW US WHERE IT IS!

[Soft music plays, footsteps softly thudding]

Tommy, Audrey, Hector, and Sonia walk into the cave. Audrey rides on Hector’s shoulders and covers his eyes with her hands.

Hector says, HEY! WHO TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS?

[Chuckling]

Audrey says, I WANT IT TO BE A SURPRISE! WE'RE ALMOST THERE. A LITTLE BIT MORE... OKAY. YOU CAN LOOK NOW!

[Bright music plays, birds chirping, water bubbling]

Audrey moves her hands, revealing Jack sitting beside a pond in a grotto. Beams of sunlight shine through openings between the rocks onto the pond.

Hector and Sonia say, WOW!

Hector says, OH, IT'S... IT'S INCREDIBLE. WE CAN GIVE THE ANIMALS ALL THE WATER THEY NEED!

Sonia says, I DON'T BELIEVE IT! YOU FOUND THIS PLACE ALL BY YOURSELVES?

[Birds chirping, water bubbling]

Audrey says, WELL, WE HAD A LITTLE HELP. JACK MADE US A NICE ENTRANCE!

[Water splashing, Jack vocalizing, bright music plays]

Jack scoops water from the pond into his hands and drinks.

Tommy says, AND BABOU'S THE ONE WHO LEAD US HERE. SPEAKING OF, I WONDER WHERE HE WENT TO.

[Babou chittering, whooshing]

Babou enters the grotto.

Sonia and Tommy say, HUH?

[Splashing, everyone laughing]

Babou jumps into the pond, splashing Tommy.

[Upbeat music plays]
