Two brains navigate a maze, chomping on a variety of things including a stack of books, tire, and baseball. The brains meet in the centre of the maze and form one large brain. A banner wraps around the brain. A person announces the title that appears on the banner.

They say, HUNGRY BRAIN!

An animation shows the Earth from space.

A narrator says, YOU SPEAK MORE THAN ONE
LANGUAGE, RIGHT?

A second narrator asks, DO PUNS COUNT?

The first narrator says, NO.

The view from space closes in toward a country in Africa.

The first narrator says, IN THIS COUNTRY, THEY SPEAK
MORE THAN 40 LANGUAGES.
FRENCH IS THE OFFICIAL LINGO,
BUT BAMBARA IS
THE MOST POPULAR.

A title reads, The Top on Mali.

The first narrator says, HERE'S THE TOP ON MALI.

A white #4 appears.

[Dinging]

The second narrator says, NUMBER FOUR:
THE CAPITAL IS CALLED BAMAKO.
BAMAKO IS THE LARGEST CITY
IN THE COUNTRY,
WITH MORE THAN TWO MILLION
INHABITANTS.

Different parts of Bamako are shown including a river running through the city.

The second narrator says, WHOA!
THAT RIVER LOOKS
PERFECT FOR SWIMMING IN!
WHERE ARE MY TRUNKS?

The first narrator says, I HOPE YOU'RE A STRONG SWIMMER.
GUESS WHAT "BAMAKO" MEANS.
TRY "CROCODILE RIVER."

A crocodile snaps their jaws.

The second narrator says, OH, SNAP!
I MAY RETHINK THAT.

A white #3 appears.

[Dinging]

The first narrator says, NUMBER THREE:
THE NIGER RIVER.
THIS RIVER IS HUGE,
AND CROSSES SEVERAL
AFRICAN COUNTRY,
INCLUDING SIERRA LEONE,
GUINEA, NIGER, BENIN,
NIGERIA, AND MALI.

A person is shown in a narrow boat on the river.

The second narrator says, VILLAGES OF
FISHER FOLK LIVE
ALONG THE MALIAN
SHORES OF THE NIGER.
THEY'RE CALLED THE "BOZOS,"
AND HAVE BEEN CASTING THEIR NETS
HERE FOR 1,000 YEARS.

Fishermen, Bozos, are shown on narrow boats. A white #2 appears.

[Dinging]

The second narrator says, NUMBER TWO:
DOGON COUNTRY.

[First narrator gasping]

The first narrator says, DRAGON COUNTRY?!

An animation shows flames flickering behind a dragon.

[Roaring]

The second narrator NO, "DOGON." COUNTRY.
TRADITIONALLY, THE DOGONS ARE
FARMERS AND BLACKSMITHS,
BUT THEY'RE ALSO
FAMOUS FOR THEIR
MAD SCULPTING SKILLS,
AND THEIR COSMOGONY.

THE CREATION OF THE WORLD.

The first narrator says, "NOR-MALI"
