Inside the spaceship, a silver robot with a blue circle nose lies in pieces.
The people shout, B.O.T.!
The robot wakes up and puts themselves together. They stand on three wheels.
The people shout, BEASTIE OBSERVATION TRANSMITTER!
The title appears.
The people read, B.O.T. AND THE BEASTIES!
[Energetic music plays]
[Horn honking]
Different Beasties knock over the title.
The people shout, BEASTIES COME!
AND BEASTIES GO!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
OH NO!
A swarm of one eyed, square shaped, pink, green and orange Beasties flutter about.
[Beasties chirping 139536XDVT]
A narrator asks, WHAT ARE THESE
BEASTIES?
The flying Beasties leave.
The narrator says, B.O.T., THIS IS YOUR MISSION.
In the spaceship, the narrator says, B.O.T., THIS IS YOUR MISSION!
B.O.T.’s nose turns red.
[B.O.T. whirring]
The narrator says, DETECT BEASTIES.
COLLECT SOUND DATA.
B.O.T.’s nose turns yellow, then orange.
The narrator says, COLLECT PICTURE DATA.
B.O.T.’s nose turns green. An opening appears in the floor. B.O.T. hovers over it.
The narrator says, GO!
B.O.T.‘s nose turns blue and they drop through the opening.
The narrator announces, ROCKY GRASSY WORLD!
B.O.T. drops through an opening in the blue and purple pastel sky of Rocky Grassy World.
[Whirring]
B.O.T. lands on the dry, grassy sand beside a leafy purple bush.
[Thudding]
B.O.T. hops onto their wheels and looks around.
[B.O.T. whirring]
[Chirping]
The leaves on the bush shake.
B.O.T.’s nose turns red.
[Beeping]
The narrator quietly says, BEASTY DETECTED!
[Chirping]
The bush shakes. B.O.T. looks in the bush. A swarm of the flying square shaped Beasties fly out and knock over B.O.T. then dive back down into the bush. B.O.T. hops back onto their wheels while looking at the bush.
[Whirring]
[Chirping]
B.O.T. aims their sound data collection speaker at the bush.
[Speaker feedback]
A large purple Beastie walks over.
[Beastie braying excitedly]
[B.O.T. whirring]
B.O.T. makes themselves smaller and moves closer to the bush. The purple Beastie eats a leaf off the bush.
[Chomping]
[Chirping]
The Flying Beasties burst out of the bush. The purple Beastie looks surprised.
[Braying]
[Chirping]
The flying Beasties swarm around the purple Beastie.
[Braying franticly]
From behind the push, B.O.T. watches the purple Beastie try and shake away the flying Beasties.
[Chirping]
The flying Beasties bite the purple Beastie, leaving square marks all over the purple Beastie’s body and fly away.
[Braying]
The purple Beastie scratches at the bites.
The narrator says, ITCHING!
[Snorting]
The purple Beastie walks away.
[B.O.T. whirring]
[Chirping]
The square Beasties return to the bush.
[B.O.T. beeping]
B.O.T. aims the speaker at the bush.
[Speaker feedback]
B.O.T. moves the speaker around the bush. The square Beasties fly out and swarm B.O.T.
The narrator says, OH NO!
The Beasties lift B.O.T. off the ground.
[Chirping]
B.O.T. points their speaker at the Beasties.
[Speaker feedback]
[Chirping continues]
B.O.T. lowers their wheels to the ground and drops down, away from the Beasties. B.O.T. plays back a recording.
[Beeping]
[Chirping]
[Beeping]
B.O.T.’s nose turns yellow, then orange.
The narrator says, SOUND DATA COLLECTED!
Elsewhere in Rocky Grassy World, the purple Beastie approaches a mud puddle.
[Braying excitedly]
The purple Beastie jumps in the mud.
[Braying happily]
The Beastie rolls around, covering themselves in the mud, and their square bite marks fade away.
[Splashing]
[Braying]
[Chirping]
The swarm of flying Beasties fly over the purple Beastie.
[Narrator gasping]
The purple Beastie jumps out of the mud and runs away from the flying Beasties. B.O.T. rolls toward the mud as the purple Beastie returns, glancing toward the flying Beasties chasing them.
[Panting]
B.O.T. dodges the purple Beastie.
[Chirping]
[Wheels squeaking]
[Braying]
B.O.T. dives into the leafy purple bush. The purple Beastie reaches the bush and smiles. B.O.T. spots the Beastie leaning with their mouth open toward the leaves as the flying Beasties approach.
[Chirping]
The flying Beasties swarm and bite the purple Beastie.
[Braying]
B.O.T. watches as the purple Beastie shakes off the flying Beasties, who leave square bite marks.
[Braying]
The purple Beastie scratches at the bites.
The narrator says, ITCHING!
[Beastie snorting]
[B.O.T. whirring]
B.O.T. ducks down into the bush. The swarm of flying Beasties follow.
[Chirping]
[Clanging]
The flying Beasties fly out of the bush, lifting B.O.T. with them. B.O.T. aims their picture data camera at the Beasties. The Beasties separate from B.O.T., who then falls onto the purple Beastie.
[Frantic braying]
The purple Beastie runs away with B.O.T. on their back.
[Braying]
The purple Beastie runs to the mud puddle and shakes B.O.T. off their back. The Beastie jumps into the puddle and splashes B.O.T. with mud.
The narrator says, UH-OH!
B.O.T. shakes off the mud.
[Clanging]
The bites on the purple Beastie fade away.
[Beastie sighing]
B.O.T. returns to the purple bush.
[Wheels squeaking]
[Muffled chirping]
B.O.T. tip-toes on their wheels closer to the bush and sticks their camera between the leaves.
[Purple Beastie grunting loudly]
[B.O.T. whirring]
B.O.T. glances at the purple Beastie beside them, with their mouth wide open. B.O.T. leaps away from the Beastie as they take chop all of the leaves off the bush along with the flying Beasties.
[Grumbling]
The purple Beastie’s cheeks ripple and they spit out the flying Beasties.
[Grunting]
[Chirping]
The flying Beasties hover between B.O.T. and the purple Beastie. The look from their now eaten bush to the purple Beastie.
[Burping]
The purple Beastie burps out a green flying Beastie.
[Braying]
[Chirping]
The flying Beasties fly away. B.O.T. follows them into the sky. The Beasties fly around B.O.T., dodging the picture data camera. B.O.T. captures a picture of the Beasties.
[Camera shutter clicking]
The flying Beasties freeze and their colour turns dull.
The narrator says, OH NO!
The Beasties fall.
[Whirring]
The purple Beastie looks at the pile of fallen Beasties. B.O.T. lowers to the ground.
[Whirring]
One of the green flying Beasties starts to shake.
[Rattling]
The green Beastie’s square cracks open, revealing a tiny, one eyed green, butterfly-like Beastie. The other butterfly-like Beasties crack out of their square shells.
The narrator says, WOW!
The Beasties fly over to B.O.T., who takes their picture.
[Shutter clicking]
[Whirring]
[Beeping]
B.O.T.’s nose turns green.
The narrator says, PICTURE DATA COLLECTED!
An opening appears in the sky.
The narrator says, ALL DATA COLLECTED FOR FLYING
ITCHY!
B.O.T. flies past the Flying Itchy Beasties.
The narrator says, MISSION COMPLETE!
B.O.T. flies through the opening in the sky. The Flying Itchy Beasties scratch the purple Beastie with their wings.
[Braying happily]
The purple Beastie smiles as they walk away with the swarm of Flying Itchy Beasties.
[Cheerful music plays]
In she spaceship, a screen shows pictures of the Flying Itchy.
