[Energetic music plays]

[Whistling]

In the Makeaway Takeaway restaurant, various craft supplies fill fridges, cover countertops, and adorn menus, including bottles of paint, scissors, sponges, ribbon, and a box of paintbrushes and pens. Host Bec Hill talks on her banana phone. Bec wears her long, curly pink hair in an updo. In her Makeaway Takeaway uniform, she wears a yellow polo shirt with a light blue collar, and a dark blue skirt with suspenders over light blue shorts. Bec paints a self-portrait with bubble wrap. Plates, cups, paint, sunglasses, balled-up paper, and straws move on a conveyor belt. Bec pulls a bucket off her head. Three children paint. Bec spreads glue across a strip of paper and holds a colander over her head. A girl with black hair dances. Bec announces the title.

Bec says, MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY!

[Doorbell ringing]

[Cheerful, upbeat music plays]

At Makeaway Takeaway, Bec stands behind the front counter with a comic book.

Bec says, POW! SPLAT! KABLAMO! WHOOSH! AND THEN DR. RUBBEROUTA THREATENED TO ERASE THE WHOLE WORLD!

Bec reads a comic book that includes an eraser in a purple cape flying beside half-erased Edvard Munch’s ‘The Scream’ and a group of superheroes in costumes.

Bec says, OH, NO!

Bec looks up and says, HELLO, I'M BEC. WELCOME TO MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY! I'VE NEARLY FINISHED READING THIS AMAZING COMIC "ARTVENGERS". WHILE I FIND OUT HOW IT ENDS, HERE'S TODAY'S MENU.

[Whooshing]

Rolls of paper unravel. Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Whooshing]

[Upbeat music plays]

Bec narrates, COMING UP ON TODAY'S SHOW: A TECHNIQUE THAT WILL GIVE YOU A NEW PERSPECTIVE.

At the takeaway lunch table, Bec draws city skyscrapers with a ruler.

Bec narrates, I GET A CALL FROM A CUSTOMER WHO IS DESPERATE TO SAVE SOME HOLIDAY MONEY.

In a craft room, a red-haired boy holds a paper straw against an egg container pirate ship.

Bec narrates, AND WE DELIVER AND ARTY SURPRISE TO A SUPER TEACHER.

Outdoors, Bec wears a red cape. She makes art on a playground with school supplies, including a handful of pencils, red bean bags and yellow notepads.

[Whooshing]

Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Whooshing]

[Whistling]

Behind the front counter, Bec reads her comic book.

[Intense music plays]

Bec reads, "THE EVIL DR. RUBBEROUTA WAS NO MATCH FOR THE CLEVER ARTVENGERS WHO USED PERMANENT PAINT! GREAT WORK, TEAM. YOU'VE SAVED ART FOREVER."

Bec closes the book and says, WOW! THE ARTVENGERS ARE SO COOL! I WISH I WAS A SUPERHERO.

[Dramatic music plays]

Bec’s jaw drops open.

Bec says, MAYBE I AM! MAYBE I JUST HAVEN'T DISCOVERED MY SPECIAL ABILITY YET!

Bec glances at the wall beside her.

Bec asks, WHAT IF I CAN WALK THROUGH WALLS?

Bec walks into the wall and falls.

[Banging]

[Birds chirping]

[Bec gasping]

Bec says, IT WORKED! I'M IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ROOM.

Bec gazes up at lights on the ceiling,

Bec says, WAIT A MINUTE. THAT'S A CEILING.

[Record scratch]

Bec says, I'M ON THE FLOOR, AREN'T I?

Bec jumps to her feet and dusts off the skirt of her apron.

Bec says, I MAY NOT HAVE THE POWER TO WALK THROUGH WALLS, BUT WHAT I DO HAVE IS A NEW PERSPECTIVE FOR…

Bec spreads her arms and cheers, ...A TAKEAWAY TECHNIQUE!

[Exciting music plays]

[Whooshing]

[Scissors snipping]

[Gentle music plays]

Bec takes a seat at the lunch table with a large piece of white paper, a pencil. A ruler and different coloured markers.

Bec says, I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU A PERSPECTIVE TECHNIQUE USING STRAIGHT LINES. I'M GOING TO DO A CITY. I'M PLACING A DOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE AND DRAWING LINES USING A PENCIL AND A RULER. MAKE SURE YOU DRAW AN EVEN NUMBER OF LINES. THE GAPS BETWEEN THEM CAN BE DIFFERENT WIDTHS. YOU'LL SEE WHY LATER.

Bec draws a dot in the middle of the paper with her pencil and starts drawing long straight lines from the dot to the sides of the paper with the ruler.

Bec says, GETTING THERE.

Bec draws lines all around the paper and sets down her pencil.

Bec says, DONE! NEXT, I'M GOING TO DRAW A STAR SHAPE BY CONNECTING THE LINES WITH THE RULER.

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

Bec grabs a black marker. She draws straight lines at angles between the long lines with her ruler.

Bec says, IT'S FUN TO MAKE THESE ALL DIFFERENT ANGLES.

Bec tilts her ruler forward and back as she draws more angled lines between the long lines, forming a star shape around the middle dot.

Bec says, AND THERE'S THE STAR SHAPE. THIS IS GOING TO BE THE SKY ABOVE THE CITY, SO I'M GOING TO ERASE THE LINES IN THE CENTRE.

Bec erases the pencil lines within the star using an eraser.

Bec says, THERE WE GO. AND NOW, I'M GOING TO ADD MORE BLACK LINES OVER THE PENCIL. THESE LINES WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME BUILDINGS AS THE PICTURE STARTS TO TAKE SHAPE.

Bec draws over the pencil lines with her marker and ruler.

[Paint splattering]

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Later at the lunch table, Bec says, THE BUILDINGS ARE STARTING TO TAKE SHAPE, SO I'M GOING TO ADD SOME DETAIL. I'M USING THE RULER AND I'M GOING TO FOLLOW THE SAME ANGLE AS THE LINE ABOVE IT. AND THEN AS I MOVE DOWN THE BUILDING, I'M GOING TO LEAVE SLIGHTLY BIGGER GAPS AS THE BUILDING GETS CLOSER TO US.

Bec draws short lines between two long lines as the floors of a building. The angle of her lines matches the top line in the star shape. She repeats these steps on the long line beside it and forms a skyscraper building.

Bec says, I'M USING MY RULER TO DRAW SOME WINDOWS. THE RULER HELPS FOLLOW THE LINES OF PERSPECTIVE.

Bec draws windows on a second building.

Bec says, I'LL DO SOME STRAIGHT LINES ON THIS ONE.

In a third building, Bec draws straight lines from the star shape to the bottom of the paper.

Bec says, KEEP ADDING DETAILS TO THE REST OF THE BUILDINGS.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the lunch table, Bec’s buildings are complete. Bec finishes drawing a cloud in the star-shaped sky.

Bec says, I'VE ADDED LOTS OF DETAILS AND SOME CLOUDS. NOW, I'M GOING TO COLOUR IT IN.

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

Bec colours a narrow space that is the side of a building, dark green.

Bec says, I'M ADDING A DARKER COLOUR ON THIS SIDE HERE TO GIVE THE EFFECT OF A SHADOW. I'LL USE A LIGHTER GREEN ON THIS SIDE.

Bec colours floor-to-ceiling windows on the building light green.

Bec says, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR BUILDINGS WHATEVER COLOUR YOU WANT. BUILD YOUR OWN CITY.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the table, Bec’s buildings are different shades of green, grey, and red. Bec colours the sky with a light blue marker.

Bec says, I'VE COLOURED IN ALL OF THE BUILDINGS AND I'M JUST FINISHING OFF THE SKY.

Bec caps her marker and says, ADD SOME BIRDS.

Bec grabs a black marker and adds a third bird to the sky.

Bec says, AND THERE IS YOUR CITY PICTURE USING A PERSPECTIVE TECHNIQUE.

Bec pushes her markers aside. A frame appears around the city perspective picture, and the picture sparkles.

[Chimes]

[Car horns honking]

[Paint splattering]

Later in the takeaway, Bec lies on her belly and wears a full-sized apron as a cape. White paper plates hang beside her like clouds.

Bec says, TURNS OUT MY SUPERPOWER IS FLYING!

Bec raises her arms and pretends to fly. Air blows her hair back and raises the apron cape off.

[Air blowing]

[Motor powering down]

Bec’s cape falls on her back.

Bec says, OH, NO! THE WIND'S DIED DOWN. BEAR WITH ME.

Bec reaches toward the buttons on a fan. She slips and rolls off the lunch table.

[Bec grunting]

Bec yelps, WHOA!

[Banging]

[Ringing notification]

An order ticket prints from the Makeaway Takeaway order screen.

[Printer whirring]

Bec sits up and says, A CUSTOMER!

Bec stands and watches a video of the red-haired boy on the order ticket. The boy wears a dark blue polo shirt.

The red-haired boy says, HELLO, MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY! BEC, I NEED YOUR HELP! WE'RE GOING ON A FAMILY HOLIDAY SOON AND I'D LIKE TO HAVE MY OWN SPENDING MONEY.

Bec nods.

The red-haired boy asks, CAN YOU DELIVER SOMETHING TO HELP ME SAVE MY POCKET MONEY?

Bec says, I'M A SUPERHERO SO I KNOW ALL ABOUT SAVING. I'VE GOT JUST THE THING! ONE ARTY DELIVERY COMING RIGHT UP!

Bec grabs the order ticket and leaves.

[Energetic music plays]

In a comic book panel, Bec ties the laces on her pink sneakers and straightens her socks. She snaps her suspenders and puts on a Makeaway Takeaway visor. Bec puts on a craft tool belt which carries a paint roller, pen, scissors and other craft supplies. She straightens the collar of her shirt, winks, and gives a thumbs-up.

Bec says, LET'S DO THIS!

Bec takes off running.

[Whooshing]

In a living room, the red-haired boy sits in a chair with a bowl of popcorn and T.V. remote.

The red-haired boy narrates, HI, I'M HARRY. I'M EIGHT AND I LOVE MOVIES.

[Exciting music plays]

Harry narrates, FILMS SET IN THE WILD WEST.

Wearing a cowboy hat, Harry pulls on a rope tied around a blond-haired woman with bangs.

[Horse whinnying]

Harry narrates, FILMS WITH SUPERHEROES!

Harry runs around the room. A blond-haired boy reads a superhero comic book.

Harry narrates, AND I ESPECIALLY LOVE FILMS ABOUT PIRATES.

A man with light stubble wearing a pirate hat and wig looks through a monocular. Harry wears a pirate hat and an eye patch. He swings a toy sword.

Harry narrates, WE'RE ALL OFF ON HOLIDAY SOON AND I WANT TO SAVE MY OWN POCKET MONEY TO BUY SOME TREATS.

Harry and his family, the blond-haired woman, blond-haired boy, and the man with light stubble sit in the living room.

[Family cheering]

Harry asks, BEC, CAN YOU MAKE SOMETHING THAT WILL HELP ME SAVE UP?

[Doorbell ringing]

Harry says, OH! THAT WAS QUICK!

[Whooshing]

[Scissors snipping]

In a craft room, Bec joins Harry and sets her visor on a craft table. Harry wears a blue Makeaway Takeaway apron.

Bec says, HI, HARRY!

Harry says, HI, BEC!

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Bec says, NOW, I'VE GOT THE PERFECT CRAFTY SOLUTION TO YOUR DILEMMA. YOUR LOVE OF MOVIES AND ADVENTURES HAVE INSPIRED ME, SO WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A PIRATE SHIP MONEY BOX.

An egg carton pirate ship money box is shown with scull and crossbones sails and blue waves.

[Fanfare]

Harry says, WHOA!

[Cheering and applause]

A person rolls a coin down a paper straw ramp on the side of the ship.

The person rolls the coin down the ramp.

[Splashing]

[Paint splattering]

At the craft table, Bec says, FIRST, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED A CARDBOARD BOX AND AN EGG BOX. NOW, MAKE SURE THE CARDBOARD BOX IS BIG ENOUGH TO FIT THE EGG BOX IN. THEN WE'RE GOING TO CUT THE EGG BOX DOWN THE MIDDLE AND TAKE OFF THIS LITTLE FLAP.

[Gentle music plays]

Bec grabs an egg carton, also known as an egg box, and a slightly larger topless, rectangular cardboard box. She cuts the egg carton down the middle, removing the lid, and cuts off the small piece on the opposite side.

Bec says, NOW, THAT'S CUT, I'M GONNA DRAW A WAVY LINE ON THIS BOX. I'M GONNA DRAW THIS LINE ALL AROUND THE BOX AND THAT'S GOING TO BE MY WAVES. AND NOW, I'M GONNA CUT THIS OUT AND PUT IT ASIDE FOR LATER.

Bec draws wavy lines as waves around the cardboard box with a black marker. She cuts the excess cardboard out of the waves with scissors and sets the box aside.

[Whooshing]

[Scissors snipping]

Later at the craft table, the egg carton lid lies face down on the table with the middle piece upright on top.

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

Bec says, I'VE GLUED MY EGG BOX TOGETHER AND THIS IS GOING TO BE THE SHIP. NOW, I'M GONNA ADD SOME DETAIL. I'VE GOT SOME BROWN STRIPS OF PAPER. I'M GONNA USE THIS GLUE STICK TO CREATE MY PORTHOLES.

Harry watches Bec trace a glue stick onto a strip of brown paper. Bec draws smaller circles inside the glue stick circles and colours them in with her black marker.

Bec asks, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING SO FAR, HARRY?

Harry says, I THINK IT'S LOOKING GOOD.

Bec says, IT IS LOOKING GOOD, BUT JUST YOU WAIT.

Bec draws straight lines down her row of porthole circles with a ruler.

Bec says, I GET REALLY SEASICK. DO YOU GET SEASICK?

Harry says, NO AND I DON'T WANT TO.

Bec says, YEAH, FAIR ENOUGH.

Bec draws dots between the circles of her portholes and adds lines across the strip of paper as planks of wood on the side of a ship.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the craft table, the brown paper strips wrap around the egg carton. Harry holds the egg carton pirate ship.

Bec says, ONCE YOU'VE ADDED YOUR DETAILS, YOU STICK THE PAPER AROUND THE EDGES, AND THAT'S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.

Drawn-on scratches mark the sides of the ship.

Harry says, IT LOOKS GREAT, BEC!

Bec says, THANKS! NEXT, WE'RE GONNA STICK A STRAW ONTO THE SIDE.

Harry peels the covering off a piece of double-sided tape on a paper straw.

Bec says, NOW, WE'VE USED DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE, BUT YOU COULD USE GLUE OR WHATEVER ELSE YOU'D LIKE. THE STRAW WILL HELP THE MONEY SLIDE INTO THE MONEY BOX.

Harry sticks the straw onto the ship at downward an angle.

Bec says, AND YOU REMEMBER OUR CARDBOARD BOX FROM EARLIER? WELL, I'VE PAINTED IT BLUE LIKE THE SEA AND I'VE ADDED SOME WAVY DETAILS IN WHITE PAINT AND LIGHT BLUE PAINT. NEXT, WE NEED TO STICK A SMALL POT INTO ONE END OF THE BOX. I'M USING A CRISP TUBE AND SOME DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE.

Bec pulls out the cardboard box, now painted blue with white and light blue details as extra waves on the sides. She places a can wrapped in light blue paper in one end of the box.

Bec says, WE'RE GONNA POP YOUR SHIP INSIDE THE BOX.

Bec places the ship in the box on top of the can.

Bec says, NOW, LIKE EVERY SHIP, IT BOBS UP AND DOWN IN THE OCEAN, SO I'M GONNA RECREATE THAT BY TAKING A PENCIL AND PIERCING IT THROUGH THE LAYERS. YOU MIGHT WANT A GROWN-UP TO HELP YOU WITH THIS BIT. I'M GONNA TAKE OUT MY SHIP AND PIERCE MY HOLE THROUGH HERE. THAT WAY, I'LL BE ABLE TO MARK ON MY EGG BOX WHERE I NEED TO PIERCE.

Bec takes the ship out of the box. She pushes her pencil through a tall wave on the side of the box at the end opposite the can. She puts the ship back in the box, pushes her pencil through the hole, and marks the ship. Bec spins the box, revealing another hole on the opposite side. She slides her pencil through the ship.

Bec says, THE PENCIL'S GONNA GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND STAY IN THERE. THIS IS HOW OUR SHIP WILL GO UP AND DOWN AND KEEP OUR TREASURE SAFE.

Bec raises and lowers the ship with the pencil and shows the can underneath.

Harry says, OH, THAT'S GREAT!

Bec says, NEXT, WE'RE GONNA NEED SOME SAILS. WE'RE GONNA MAKE OURS OUT OF CARD. NOW, SHOULD WE DRAW SOME SKULL AND CROSSBONES ON IT?

Harry says, YEAH!

Bec draws a skull and crossbones on a small piece of black card paper with a white marker.

Bec asks, HOW ARE YOU GETTING ON THERE?

Harry says, GOOD.

Harry draws a skull and crossbones on a larger piece of black card paper.

Bec asks, WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DRAW, HARRY?

Harry says, NORMALLY, SOME FORM OF BEAST OR CREATURE.

Bec says, OH! THAT'S SO COOL!

Harry smiles at Bec.

[Gentle, upbeat music continues]

Bec says, ARR ME HEARTIES! NOW, WE HAVE OUR SAILS, WE'RE GONNA MAKE OUR MASTS BY POKING THROUGH SOME WOODEN STICKS. TO CREATE THE HOLE IN MY SAIL, I'M GONNA USE SOME MODELLING CLAY AND A SHARP PENCIL.

Bec holds the top and bottom of her skull and crossbones sail together over a ball of modelling clay and pushes her pencil through the card. She pushes a dowel through the holes as a mast and straightens the sail.

Bec says, NOW, THAT I'VE DONE MY MASTS, I'VE ADDED AN EXTRA DETAIL BY MAKING A LITTLE RED FLAG OUT OF RED CARD. NOW, WE JUST NEED TO PUT THEM INTO THE SHIP!

Bec pushes a small red flag on a dowel into the egg carton and adds the two sails.

Bec says, WE'RE PRETTY MUCH FINISHED! IN FACT, I'VE EVEN ADDED A LITTLE SHARK FIN OUT OF GREY CARD. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

A grey shark fin sticks out between two tall waves in the cardboard box.

Harry says, HMM. WHAT ABOUT A PIRATE?

Bec says, OH! I WAS HOPING YOU'D SAY THAT. HERE'S ONE I MADE EARLIER OUT OF TWO PING-PONG BALLS!

Bec holds up her ping-pong ball pirate who wears a pirate hat, an eye patch and a red scarf.

Bec says, ALL RIGHT, HARRY. YOU WANT TO TEST IT OUT WITH YOUR TREASURE THERE?

Harry says, SURE!

[Drumroll]

Harry rolls a coin down the paper straw.

[Splashing]

[Cheering]

Harry lifts the egg carton ship, revealing a pile of coins inside.

[Pirate jig plays]

Harry lowers the ship and says, YES!

Bec smiles.

[Paint splattering]

In his living room, Harry says, WOW! THANKS, BEC!

Harry sits with the pirate ship money box in his lap.

Harry says, IT'S THE PERFECT THING TO HELP ME SAVE UP MY MONEY!

At Makeaway Takeaway, Bec says, YOU'RE WELCOME, MATEY! ENJOY YOUR TIME AWAY!

Like a pirate, Bec says, ANOTHER SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

Bec places Harry’s order ticket in a tray on the back counter and turns toward the front counter.

[Register dinging]

[Bec sighing]

Bec says, THERE MUST BE SOME SUPERPOWER I HAVE. MAYBE I CAN GO INVISIBLE!

Bec closes her eyes and clenches her fists.

[Bec grunting]

Bec relaxes and opens her eyes. She looks at her hands,

Bec says, OH! I DID IT! I'M INVISIBLE.

Bec picks up her water bottle off the counter.

Bec says, OH! FLOATING BOTTLE!

[Engine powering down]

Bec says, OH, WHO AM I KIDDING? YOU CAN SEE ME AND YOU KNOW WHAT I CAN SEE? SOME PAPER PUPPETRY!

Bec leaves, and her water bottle floats off the table.

[Spooky music plays]

[Whooshing]

Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Whooshing]

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

[Funky music plays]

Bec stands beside a large pad of paper with a drawing of a telephone booth and a man with black hair, wearing a suit and glasses. Bec pulls a lever sticking out of the side of the pad, and the man slides into the booth. Bec pulls another lever, and the booth door closes. Bec pulls a third lever, and the door opens. The man inside stands in his underwear. Bec looks embarrassed.

[Whooshing]

[Exciting music plays]

In the takeaway, Bec climbs toward a window.

Bec says, LOOK AT MY SUPER-CLIMBING POWER!

[Bec grunting]

Bec pauses beside the window.

[Bec sighing]

Bec says, THIS GIVES ME AN IDEA FOR A MEGA MINI MAKE!

Bec stands up on the floor of the takeaway.

[Record scratching]

Bec picks up a window frame off the floor.

[Paint splattering]

Bec takes a seat at the Mega Mini Make table, where craft supplies are laid out, including a white piece of paper, blue and red food colouring, cups of glue, transparent document pockets, a ruler, a marker, and paintbrushes.

Bec says, I'M GOING TO MAKE A STAINED GLASS STICKER WITH P.V.A. I'LL START BY DRAWING A DESIGN ON A PIECE OF PAPER. I THINK I MIGHT DO A LIGHTNING BOLT.

[Gentle, funky music plays]

Bec draws a line on the paper with her black marker and ruler.

Bec says, I THINK THIS COULD BE MY SUPERHERO LOGO. WHAT WOULD YOUR SUPERHERO DESIGN BE?

Bec finishes drawing a lightning bolt.

Bec says, I'M ADDING A FEW MORE LINES TO MAKE IT LOOK 3-D.

Bec adds thin lines on the side of the lightning bolt.

Bec says, HERE'S MY DESIGN. I'M GOING TO POP IT INTO A PLASTIC POCKET.

Bec slides her drawing into the plastic pocket.

Bec says. TO DO THE OUTLINE, I'VE MIXED SOME P.V.A. WITH BLACK PAINT. I'VE PUT IT IN A SQUEEZY BOTTLE TO MAKE THIS A BIT EASIER, BUT YOU COULD ALSO USE A PAINTBRUSH. I'LL CONTINUE FOLLOWING ALONG ALL THESE LINES AND THEN LEAVE IT TO DRY.

Bec squeezes a line of black paint mixed with P.V.A. glue along the lines of the lightning bolt drawing with a squeeze bottle.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the Mega Mini Make table, black paint lines cover the marker lines of the lightning bolt.

Bec says, THE OUTLINE'S DRY! I'M GOING TO PAINT IT WITH P.V.A. I'VE MIXED RED FOOD COLOURING INTO THIS POT AND I'M GONNA ADD A BIT OF BLUE TO THIS OTHER ONE.

Bec adds blue food colouring to a cup of P.V.A. glue.

Bec says, OH! NOT TOO MUCH!

Bec puts the food colouring lid back on. She mixes the food colouring with the glue using a stir stick.

Bec says, GIVE IT A MIX. NOW, I'VE GOT MY TWO COLOURS, I CAN START FILLING IT IN.

Bec starts painting the lightning bolt blue.

Bec says, I'M USING FOOD COLOURING INSTEAD OF PAINT FOR THIS BIT, SO IT DRIES SEE-THROUGH. TRY TO GET IT AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the Mega Mini Make table, the middle 3-D line is red.

Bec says, I'VE FINISHED PAINTING EVERYTHING USING RED FOR THE MIDDLE STRIPE, AND NOW IT'S DRIED, IT SHOULD BE READY TO PEEL. HERE WE GO.

Bec slowly peels the lightning bolt off the plastic pocket.

Bec says, OH, IT'S LOOKING GOOD!

Bec lifts the lightning bolt off the plastic.

Bec says, HERE WE ARE. AND THERE IS YOUR STAINED GLASS STICKER. LET'S GO TRY IT OUT.

Bec walks over to a window frame on the lunch table. She adds the P.V.A. stained glass lightning bolt to the stained glass collection that includes a rocket ship, a fish and a planet.

Bec says, AND HERE ARE SOME OTHER DESIGNS.

Bec gives two thumbs up and says, YEAH!

[Paint splattering]

Later, behind the front counter, Bec clenches her fists and squints.

[Bec grunting]

[Gentle music plays]

Bec says, I'M TRYING TO SHOOT LASER OUT OF MY EYES LIKE A SUPERHERO.

Bec clenches her fists and squints.

[Bec grunting]

[Bec tooting]

Bec jumps in surprise and glances behind her.

Bec says, EXCUSE ME!

[Bec chuckling]

[Ringing notification]

Bec glances toward the order screen, and a bell icon appears.

Bec says, A CUSTOMER!

On a video call, a girl with long brown hair wears a red short-sleeved blouse.

The brown-haired girl says, IT'S THE MAKE OF THE DAY!

[Upbeat music plays]

The brown-haired girl says, HI, I'M ELOISE, AND I'M FROM [unclear]

Bec waves and says, HI, ELOISE!

Eloise asks, WHAT CAN YOU MAKE OUT OF THREE INGREDIENTS?

Bec furrows her brow and glances toward the conveyor belt on the front counter. The belt starts moving.

Eloise says, A CARDBOARD TUBE, RECYCLED PLASTIC BAGS, AND A PAPER CUP.

The conveyor belt delivers a short cardboard tube, a blue and an orange plastic bag, and a blue paper cup on plastic plates.

Bec says, HMM. TELL ME, ELOISE. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO VISIT?

Eloise says, I LOVE GOING TO THEME PARKS AND ALSO LOVE GOING TO THE SEASIDE.

Bec says, AMAZING! AND IT'S GIVEN ME AN IDEA. ONE MAKE OF THE DAY COMING RIGHT UP!

Bec stands behind the front counter with the Make of the Day ingredients and crafting supplies laid out, including a stack of recycled containers, a roll of masking tape, strips of cardboard, strips of blue paper and more.

Bec says, I'M GOING TO MAKE A WHACKY WIG!

[Paint splattering]

[Fanfare]

[Cheering and applause]

Bec is shown wearing a blue wig with curled paper hair and a paper shark on top. Bec smiles and poses.

[Paint splattering]

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Behind the front counter, Bec says, FIRST, I'M TAKING A LARGE STRIP OF CARDBOARD FROM THE RECYCLING AND I'M GONNA POP IT AROUND MY HEAD TO GET THE MEASURING RIGHT.

Bec wraps a strip of cardboard around her head.

Bec says, ALL RIGHT, I THINK THAT'S ABOUT RIGHT. TAKE THAT OFF. MAKE SURE YOU HOLD IT IN PLACE AND THEN TAPE IT DOWN.

Bec takes the circle of cardboard off her head and tapes down the exposed end.

Bec says, AND ADDING ONE ON THE INSIDE.

Bec adds a piece of tape to the other end of the strip on the inside of the circle.

Bec says, AND I'M GOING TO TURN THIS INTO A DOME BY USING SOME MORE STRIPS OF RECYCLED CARD AND CROSSING THEM OVER THE TOP. THERE'S ONE THERE. AND THEN I'LL CROSS A FEW MORE OVER.

Bec tapes a smaller strip of cardboard to the side of the circle. She tapes the other end to the opposite side and makes a curve. Bec adds a second curved piece and makes an X.

[Paint splattering]

Later, behind the counter, Bec says, I'VE STUCK DOWN ALL THE PIECES OF RECYCLED CARD TO MAKE THE TOP OF MY WIG NICE AND STURDY. NEXT, I'M TAKING SOME STRIPS OF BLUE PAPER AND LAYING THEM OVER THE TOP.

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

Bec sticks a strip of light blue paper onto a piece of the cardboard dome.

Bec says, I'M USING DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE, BUT YOU CAN ALSO USE STRONG GLUE.

Bec adds another trip of light blue paper.

Bec says, KEEP DOING THIS UNTIL IT'S COMPLETELY COVERED.

[Paint splattering]

Later, behind the counter, light blue strips of paper cover the dome.

Bec says, I'VE FINISHED THE TOP OF THE WIG AND NOW I'M GOING TO ADD OUR FIRST INGREDIENT, THE CARDBOARD TUBE. I'LL START BY CUTTING SOME TABS INTO THE BOTTOM. I NEED ABOUT A CENTIMETRE WIDE EACH.

[Gentle music plays]

Bec cuts evenly spaced short tabs into the end of the short cardboard tube with a pair of scissors.

Bec says, THERE WE GO. AND I'M JUST SPLAYING OUT THE EDGES.

Bec folds the edges upward.

Bec says, AND I'M GONNA GLUE THIS TO THE TOP OF THE WIG. YOU'LL SEE WHY LATER. I'M USING A GLUE STICK, BUT YOU COULD ALSO USE DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE.

Bec glues the cardboard tube to the wig dome on a slight angle.

Bec says, ALL STUCK. I'M GONNA POP THIS ON THE WIG HOLDER I MADE OUT OF RECYCLED TUBS.

Bec places the wig dome on the stack of recycled containers.

Bec says, NOW, I'M GOING TO MAKE THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE WIG. I'M STARTING WITH A LONG STRIP OF BLUE PAPER. JUST MAKING SURE THAT THAT LEAVES ENOUGH ROOM FOR A FRINGE.

Bec pulls a long strip of light blue paper around the back of her head. She holds the ends over her ears to her hairline and places the strip on the counter.

Bec says, TAKE ANOTHER LONG STRIP OF BLUE PAPER AND BECAUSE I WANT THIS WIG TO BE CURLY, I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU A NEAT TRICK. TAKING A RULER, PUSHING IT AGAINST A TABLE AT AN ANGLE AND THEN PULLING THE PAPER UP TOWARDS ME. READY?

Bec places a strip of light blue paper vertically on the counter and holds the end. She holds her ruler horizontally over the strip and quickly pulls the strip out from under it, toward her. The end of the strip curls.

Bec says, AND WE'RE GOING TO STICK IT TO THE STRIP OF BLUE PAPER.

Bec glues the top of the curled strip to her first, flat strip of paper.

Bec says, LET'S ADD SOME OF OUR SECOND INGREDIENT, THE RECYCLED PLASTIC BAGS, WHICH I HAVE CUT INTO LONG STRIPS.

Bec glues a strip of the blue plastic bag to the flat blue strip beside the curled strip.

Bec says, YOUR MIXING MATERIALS WILL GIVE THE WIG A NICE TEXTURE. KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU FILL THE WHOLE STRIP.

Bec curls another strip of blue paper.

[Paint splattering]

Later, behind the front counter, curled paper strips and plastic bag strips cover the flat strip.

Bec says, I'VE NEARLY FINISHED ADDING ALL OF THE CURLS. JUST ONE LAST BIT…

Bec glues another plastic strip to the flat strip.

Bec says, …THERE.

Bec picks up the wig strip.

Bec says, …IS THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE WIG.

Bec lays the bottom half of the wig on the counter and pulls the container stack wig holder closer.

Bec says, TO ADD IT ON, I'M BRINGING BACK THE TOP. I'M USING DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE.

Bec wraps the bottom half of the wig around the lower half of the wig dome.

Bec says, WRAPPING IT AROUND.

Bec presses the lower half of the wig onto the dome.

Bec says, I'VE ALSO MADE A FRINGE FOR THE WIG BUY CUTTING OUT SOME WAVE SHAPES.

Bec sticks her strip of wave-shaped fringe to the dome.

Bec says, THERE WE GO. AND I'LL ADD SOME MORE CURLS TO THE CARDBOARD TUBE. KEEP ADDING CURLS ALL THE WAY UP THE TUBE.

Bec glues single narrow curled strips of paper to the small cardboard tube on the wig dome.

[Paint splattering]

Later, behind the front counter, the narrow-curled strips cover the cardboard tube.,

Bec says, I'VE COVERED THE CARDBOARD TUBE IN CURLS AND I'VE MADE THESE LARGE ONES BY LOOPING STRIPS OF PAPER.

Bec holds up large strips of paper looped together.

Bec says, JUST STICK THEM ON.

Bec glues the large strips of paper to the wig dome.

Bec says, THERE WE GO. THAT IS LOOKING LOVELY.

Bec sets the wig stand aside.

Bec says, TO MAKE THE LAST ELEMENT OF THIS, I'M USING THE THIRD INGREDIENT, THE PAPER CUP. I'M GOING TO TAKE A PAIR OF SCISSORS AND CUT A SEMI-CIRCLE OUT OF THE TOP. AND THEN, I'LL CUT OUT ANOTHER ONE ON THE OTHER SIDE.

Bec cuts semicircles out of opposite sides of the blue paper cup.

Bec says, NEXT, I'M CUTTING OUT SOME TEETH SHAPES. I'M USING THE LEFTOVER BITS OF CUP FOR THIS.

Bec cuts triangle shapes into the excess paper cup as teeth.

Bec says, IT'S A BIT FIDDLY. WATCH YOUR FINGERS.

Bec places the strip of teeth in the cup against a semicircle.

Bec says, LET'S HAVE A LOOK THERE. LOOK FAMILIAR? I'M GONNA CUT THE SAME SHAPE OUT OF THE OTHER PIECE AND THEN GLUE THEM IN.

[Whooshing]

[Scissors snipping]

Later, behind the front counter, rows of paper cup teeth are stuck to the semicircles.

Bec says, I've finished ADDING THE TEETH AND SOME EYES AND FINS, AND I'VE MADE A LITTLE SHARK.

Bec reveals her paper cup shark, which has fins on the bottom and sides of the cup, gills on the sides, and eyes on top.

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

Bec says, TIME TO ADD IT TO THE WIG.

Bec pulls the wig stand closer and places the shark mouth-first over the small cardboard tube.

Bec says, I'VE MADE SOME FISH USING THE SECOND INGREDIENT, THE RECYCLED PLASTIC BAGS. AND I'M STICKING THEM ON WITH DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE.

Bec sticks an orange plastic bag fish on the fringe of the wig.

Bec says, ALL RIGHT, LET'S TRY IT ON!

Bec grabs the wig and pushes the stand out of the way. She ducks below the counter and reappears wearing the wig.

[Paper rustling]

Bec says, AND THERE'S YOUR WHACKY WIG!

Bec smiles and winks.

Bec says, WHILE I PACKAGE THIS UP, HERE'S SOME OTHER IDEAS.

Bec poses in a curly, red, white, and blue candy paper wig with lollipops and wrapped candies.

Bec narrates, OR SOME YUMMY CANDY CURLS?

Bec slowly turns around in the candy curls wig. In the takeaway, Bec walks over to the Make of the Day delivery hatch with a Makeaway Takeaway takeout bag.

Bec says, NOW, ELOISE CAN BE A SUPER-HAIRO.

Bec sides the takeout bag into the hatch.

Bec says, ONE MAKE OF THE DAY FLYING YOUR WAY!

Bec presses a button beside the hatch, and the platform inside rises.

[Paint splattering]

At Eloise’s house, Eloise takes the blue wacky wig out of the takeout bag.

Eloise says, WHOA! LOOK AT THIS! I'M GOING TO TRY IT ON.

[Camera shutter clicking]

Elsewhere in her house, Eloise wears the wig. She twirls and smiles.

Eloise says, THANKS, BEC! I LOVE IT!

At the takeaway, Bec says, ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Bec walks away from the takeout hatch.

[Funky music plays]

By the front counter, Bec says, I'M WORKING ON ANOTHER SUPERPOWER. SUPER STRENGTH! SO, I'M GONNA EAT ALL THIS SPINACH!

Bec eats a forkful of cooked spinach from a large bowl.

[Bec slurping and munching]

Bec smiles with spinach in her teeth.

With her mouth full, Bec says, LET'S SEE IF IT WORKED!

Bec puts the bowl on the lunch table and one foot on the lunch table bench. She

[Clanking]

Bec slowly lifts a 500 millilitre can of orange paint.

[Creaking]

[Bec grunting]

Bec drops the can onto the table and shakes out her hands.

[Bec groaning]

[Sad music plays]

Bec says, IT'S NO USE! I JUST WANTED TO BE A SUPERHERO WITH SUPERPOWERS!

[Record scratching]

[Beeping]

The button beside the delivery hatch lights up. The platform inside lowers with a note on a folded cape.

Bec says, HELLO. WHAT'S THIS?

Bec pulls the note and cape out of the hatch.

Bec says, HUH. THERE'S A NOTE.

Bec reads the note.

Bec says, "YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN TO BE AN ARTVENGER. YOU HAVE A SUPERPOWER."

[Intense uplifting music plays]

Bec says, HUH? "THE POWER OF ART. TO CONTINUE YOUR ART ADVENTURES, HERE'S YOUR VERY OWN SUPERHERO MASK AND SUPERHERO CAPE."

Bec glances at the cape and a mask. She sets the note on the front counter and unfolds the cape.

Bec says, WHOA! I'M A REAL LIVE SUPERHERO!

[Phone ringing]

Bec says, THE BANANA PHONE!

Bec grabs the banana phone off the Mega Mini Make table and answers a call.

[Beeping]

Bec says, HELLO, MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY!

On the other end of the call, a girl with short, black hair wears a green cardigan over a white collared shirt.

The black-haired girl says, HI, BEC. MY NAME IS SINEAD. CAN YOU DELIVER AN ARTY SURPRISE FOR OUR MATE AND DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER, MR. BRADLEY?

Bec says, SOUNDS LIKE A SUPER CHALLENGE FOR AN ARTVENGER. I'M ON MY WAY!

Bec ends the call and puts the banana phone on the table.

[Beeping]

Bec leaves.

[Whooshing]

Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Whooshing]

[School bell ringing]

Outside Gray’s Farm Primary Academy, arrows on a post point to Year 1, Reception, Main Reception and Nursery. In her Makeaway Takeaway visor, toolbelt and puffy jacket, Bec looks around a field and garden.

[Cheerful music plays]

Bec runs down a pathway and looks through a window. Inside, in a theatre, she looks between the curtains. In a classroom, teacher Mr. Bradley, who has short brown hair, wears a black suit with a white button-down shirt and a green tie. He faces a class of students wearing green cardigans and sweaters seated at desks.

The teacher, WE'RE GOING TO DO OUR SEVEN TIMES TABLE. I SAY, YOU SAY, OKAY?

Mr. Bradley says, 0.

The students say, 7.

Mr. Bradley says, 14.

The students say, 21.

Mr. Bradley says, 28.

Mr. Bradley says, 35.

Bec runs down a hallway and peeks through a window in the door to Mr. Bradley’s classroom.

In the classroom, Mr. Bradley says, 42.

The students say, 49.

Mr. Bradley says, 56.

Sinead and the three students seated near her spot Bec. They look shocked. Bec opens the door and waves toward them.

The students say, 63.

Mr. Bradley says, 70.

The students say, 77.

Mr. Bradley says, 84.

The students say, 91.

Sinead and the three other students sneak out of the classroom with Bec.

Mr. Bradley says, YOU ARE AMAZING, BUT WE CAN DO IT MUCH FASTER. OKAY, SO I'M GOING TO DO IT AGAIN.

Bec closes the door. In the hallway, she faces Sinead and the three other students: a girl with long, light-brown hair, a boy with short black hair, and a girl with glasses, wearing her long, thick black hair in a high ponytail.

Bec says, HI, LILY, SAM, SINEAD, KIA!

Lily, Sam, Sinead and Kia say, HI, BEC!

Lily is the brown-haired girl, Sam is the black-haired boy, and Kia is the long-haired girl.

Bec says, I HEAR YOU WANT TO MAKE A SURPRISE FOR MR. BRADLEY.

Lily, Sam, Sinead and Kia nod and say, YES.

Bec asks, WHY IS THAT?

Sinead says, HE'S BRILLIANT! SO MUCH FUN! HE REALLY DESERVES IT.

Sam says, HE PUTS ON AMAZING TALENT SHOWS, AND HE KEEPS US ALL INVOLVED.

During a talent show, Mr. Bradley dances.

Lily, Sam, Sinead and Kia cheer, HE'S SUPER!

Bec says, SUPER, YOU SAY. HMM.

[Intense music plays]

Bec looks thoughtful.

Bec says, THAT GIVES ME AN IDEA!

Bec grins. She spins around, and her superhero mask appears over her eyes. Her cape appears around her neck.

Lily, Sam, Sinead and Kia say, WOW!

Bec says, LET'S MAKE SOME HEROIC ART!

Lily, Sam, Sinead and Kia cheer, YAY!

Lily, Sam, Sinead and Kia run down the hallway with Bec. On a playground outside, Lily and Bec lay a long, rectangular, light blue tarp over a larger dark blue tarp on the ground and make a pattern of light and dark blue stripes. Kia brings Bec a stack of yellow folders. Bec spreads them out across part of the tarps. Inside, Sinead and Lily run up to a reception counter.

Sinead and Lily say, MS. ARCHER.

Ms. Archer, the receptionist, sits at a desk.

Ms. Archer says, HELLO, YES, GIRLS. WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?

Sinead and Lily ask, CAN WE HAVE THE LOST PROPERTY, PLEASE?

Ms. Archer places a bin of clothes on the counter. Sinead and Lily grab the bin.

Sinead and Lily say, THANK YOU!

In the playground, Bec jumps rope. She stops, glances at the rope and grins. Bec wraps the jump rope around a flowery design on the yellow folders. Sinead passes Bec armfuls of red and green scrimmage vests.

[Sinead giggling]

Bec fumbles with the pile of vets.

[Bec yelping]

Bec lays green vests at the ends of yellow folders and shapes pointed tips. Sam brings Bec armfuls of red and yellow bean bags. Bec adds the bean bags to her art project. She places the red bean bags on the green vests. Inside, Sam dumps a container of pencils, markers and rulers on a table. Sinead, Lily and Kia grab them, and Bec adds them to her design.

[Intense music continues]

At a table in a classroom, a teacher with long brown hair marks a page in a notebook and pushes it aside. Sinead kneels on the floor beside her and pulls the notebook off the table. The teacher a page in another notebook and pushes it aside. Sinead takes the notebook. In another room, a teacher with short blond hair drops purple cones in a line on the floor. Lily follows her and picks up each cone. Sinead and Lily bring the notebooks and cones to Bec. Kia delivers armfuls of clothes.

[Intense music continues]

Bec, Sinead, Lily, Kia, and Sam work on Bec’s design using different items from the school. Bec and Kia high-five. Lily and Sinead give each other thumbs up. Sam and Kia add to the design using mini staplers and a small pink shirt. Sinead uses marker lids, pieces of chalk and pencil sharpeners. One of the designs, made from various clothes and school supplies, resembles a student.

Bec says, AW! GREAT JOB, GUYS. GO GET MR. BRADLEY.

Sinead, Lily, Sam and Kia leave the playground. Later in the playground, Mr. Bradley walks between them with his hands over his eyes. A large group of students stand around with Bec.

[Students chatting excitedly]

At the edge of the tarps, Sinead, Kia, Lily and Sam stop with Mr. Bradley.

Lily says, THANKS FOR BEING THE BEST DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER EVER! TAKE A LOOK!

Mr. Bradley lowers his hands and looks at the creation.

[Mr. Bradley gasping]

Mr. Bradley says, WOW!

[Students cheering]

Mr. Bradley says, WOW!

Mr. Bradley stares at an artwork of himself as a superhero flying through the sky in a red cape, holding up a red-haired student and a black-haired student in their desk chairs. Within the art made of school supplies and other objects, including notebooks, a water bottle, and a laptop, fall out of the students’ backpacks. The students smile.

[Students cheering]

[Upbeat music plays]

[Clapping]

Mini staplers, a lanyard and a marker lid shape Mr. Bradley’s eyes and nose. Pencil crayons on a brown piece of clothing colour his hair. Pink socks and pink crayons make the hands of the red-haired student in the air. Pink highlighters make a hair tie wrapped around the black-haired student’s hair. Pencils and markers create her desk chair. The purple cones line the strips of the dark blue tarp.

Mr. Bradley says, IT'S VERY ARTISTIC. YOU GUYS HAVE DONE AN AMAZING JOB.

Lily grins.

Mr. Bradley says, LOOK AT MY LEGS! THEY'RE EXCEPTIONALLY LONG. AW, THANK YOU SO MUCH, EVERYBODY. YOU REALLY ARE AMAZING. YOU KNOW, I HAVE ALWAYS DREAMT OF BEING A SUPERHERO.

Mr. Bradley puts his hands on his hips and poses like a superhero.

[Giggling]

Bec says, THAT IS ANOTHER BRILLIANT DAY OF DELIVERING ART TO YOUR DOOR. SEE YOU NEXT TIME ON…

Everyone throws their hands up and cheers, …MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY!

The artwork of Mr. Bradley is shown from above.
