[Doorbell ringing]

[Energetic music plays]

[Whistling]

In the Makeaway Takeaway restaurant, different craft supplies fill fridges, cover countertops, and menus, including bottles of paint, scissors, sponges, ribbon and a box of paintbrushes and pens. Host Bec Hill dances in a jester’s costume. Bec wears her long, curly pink hair in a high ponytail. In her Makeaway Takeaway uniform, she wears a yellow polo shirt with a light blue collar, and a dark blue skirt apron with suspenders over light blue shorts. Children dance. Plates of cups, paint, sunglasses, balled up paper, and straws move on a conveyor belt. Bec holds a colander over her head. She blows bubbles into a bowl. Bec announces the title.

Bec says, MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY!

[Doorbell ringing]

At Makeaway Takeaway, Bec stands behind the front counter in the dark with a white sheet over her head and shoulders. Under her chin, she shines a flashlight while reading a book with a ghost on the cover.

[Thunder cracking]

Bec says, BUT THE GHOST WAS RIGHT BEHIND HER?!

[Bec squealing]

Bec drops her flashlight and book. She throws the sheet off her head.

[Bec gasping]

Bec says, OH HI, I'M BEC.

[Cheerful music plays]

Bec says, WELCOME TO MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY!

Bec picks up her book and says, THIS BOOK IS VERY SPOOKY. AND WHILE I KEEP READING IT, CHECK OUT TODAY'S MENU.

[Upbeat music plays]

Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Upbeat music plays]

Bec narrates, COMING UP ON TODAY'S SHOW: A TECHNIQUE TO CHILL YOU OUT. I GET A CALL FROM A CUSTOMER WHO NEEDS HELP WITH HIS OLD BAKING TRAYS. AND I'M READY TO TAKE OFF AS WE THANK A FLIGHT SERGEANT.

Bec takes the lid off a salad spinner with blue and pink paint spinning around inside. She glues down a curled piece of paper. A blond-haired boy wearing a blue T-shirt waves a magician’s wand, and a wizard’s hat appears on his head. Bec paints a baking tray in various shades of green. In a field, she paints white lines onto the grass. Children in uniform march.

[Paint splattering]

Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Whistling]

Behind the front counter, Bec reads her book.

[Spooky music plays]

Bec reads, "AND THEN THE GHOST WENT AND..."

Bec closes the book and says, NOPE! NOPE. THAT IS TOO SCARY FOR ME. IT'S GIVING ME THE HEEBIE JEEBIES.

Bec puts down the book and shivers.

Bec says, ACTUALLY, IT'S QUITE COLD IN HERE. DO YOU THINK IT COULD BE...

[Wind blowing]

Bec says, A GUH-GUH-GHOST?

Leaves blow across the takeaway and into Bec.

[Leaves rustling]

Bec says, IT MUST'VE COME IN THROUGH THAT OPEN WINDOW!

Bec leaves the counter.

[Window clacking shut]

Bec returns to the counter and dusts off her hands.

[Bec sighing]

Bec says, THAT'S BETTER. I THINK THE GHOST LEFT AS WELL. BUT THAT ICY CHILL DOES GIVE ME AN IDEA FOR...

[Upbeat music plays]

Bec cheers, A TAKEAWAY TECHNIQUE!

Bec takes a seat at the lunch table where a large piece of blue paper is laid out on a larger sheet of pink paper. Her crafting supplies on the table include a salad spinner, white paper circles, and different bottles of paint, including blue, orange, yellow, purple and red.

Bec says, I'M GOING TO DO A PICTURE OF ICE CREAMS USING A SALAD SPINNER PAINTING TECHNIQUE. I'VE CUT OUT SOME CIRCLES OF PAPER, AND I'M JUST PUTTING A BIT OF TACK IN THE CENTRE. I'VE MADE THESE THE SAME SIZE AS THE BOTTOM OF MY SALAD SPINNER.

Bec sticks a white paper circle inside the salad spinner with a piece of tack and grabs the bottle of blue paint.

Bec says, MAKE SURE YOU GET PERMISSION FIRST BEFORE YOU USE IT.
I'M USING POSTER PAINT BECAUSE IT'S EASY TO WASH OUT. DARK BLUE FIRST.

Bec squeezes drops of blue paint onto the paper inside the salad spinner.

Bec says, A COUPLE OF SPLODGES. SQUIGGLY LINES. AND SOME PINK.

Bec squeezes pink paint into the salad spinner.

Bec says, POP ON A LID. MAKE SURE IT'S TIGHT AND GIVE IT A SPIN.

Bec puts the lid on the salad spinner and turns the handle.

[Salad spinner whirring]

The paint inside the salad spinner splatters across the sides of the bowl.

Bec says, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE!

The bowl inside the salad spinner slows to a stop, and Bec takes off the lid. The paper circle is splattered with blue and pink paint.

Bec says, THAT'S AWESOME!

Bec sets the lid aside.

[Bec smacking lips]

Bec says, DELICIOUS! JUST TAKE THAT OUT CAREFULLY. AND PUT THAT TO THE SIDE TO DRY.

Bec peels the paper circle off the bottom of the salad spinner and lays it out on the pink paper.

Bec says, RIGHT, LET'S DO ANOTHER ONE.

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Bec lays a blank paper circle on the bottom of the salad spinner.

Bec says, YOU CAN TRY THIS TECHNIQUE WITH LOTS OF DIFFERENT COLOURS, JUST MAKE SURE YOU WASH OUT THE SALAD SPINNER AFTER EACH ONE.

Bec pours blue and pink paint onto the paper and spins the salad spinner.

[Salad spinner whirring]

The salad spinner slows to a stop, and Bec takes off the lid. Streaks of blue and pink paint decorate the paper circle.

Bec says, OOH! YOU GET ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT PATTERNS DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH PAINT YOU USE AND WHERE YOU PUT IT. I'M GOING TO MAKE A BUNCH MORE.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the lunch table, dry paper circles with different-coloured paint patterns lie on the pink paper. They include yellow and orange patterns, as well as blue and brown patterns.

Bec says, I'VE HAD FUN MAKING LOTS OF DIFFERENT COLOURS. NOW TO MAKE THE ICE CREAM PICTURE. I'LL START WITH MY MIXED BERRY ONE FROM EARLIER, I'LL FOLD IT IN HALF, AND THEN CUT A WIGGLY LINE ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER CORNER.

Bec folds the blue and pink-streaked circle in half and cuts a wiggly line through the curve with scissors.

Bec says, OPEN IT UP AND THAT'S ONE OF OUR ICE CREAMS.

Bec opens the folded paper and sets it aside.

Bec says, TO MAKE THE CONE, I'LL TAKE ONE OF THESE, FOLD IT IN HALF, AND CUT A LINE TO THE OTHER CORNER.

Bec folds a yellow and orange circle in half and cuts through a part of the curve on one side to the fold point at the other.

Bec says, AND THERE'S A CONE. NOW TO STICK THEM DOWN. I'M GLUEING ALONG THE SIDE EDGES OF THE CONE, AND THEN STICKING IT DOWN TO GIVE IT A 3D EFFECT.

With a glue stick, Bec glues the edges of the orange and yellow cone to the blue paper so the middle pops up.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the lunch table, Bec says, TIME TO ADD THE ICE CREAM. I'LL START WITH A CHOCOLATE FLAVOUR. TO GIVE IT A RIPPLE EFFECT, I'LL PUT A LINE OF GLUE DOWN THE WHITE PARTS. STICK THE BASE INSIDE THE CONE AND THEN RIPPLE IT UP TO GIVE IT A 3D EFFECT.

Bec spreads glue onto the back of the light and dark brown wiggly line ice cream cut out on the bottom, middle and top. She glues each section onto the blue paper close together so the paper between each section pops up.

Bec says, WE'VE GOT OUR CHOCOLATE, WE'LL DO MIXED BERRY NEXT.

Bec glues the blue and pink-streaked ice cream cut-out to a second orange and yellow cone cut-out. She grabs a blue and brown ice cream cut-out.

Bec says, I THINK THIS ONE LOOKS LIKE MINT CHOC CHIP.

Bec glues the brown and blue cut-out onto a third cone cut-out.

Bec says, I'VE USED THE OFFCUTS TO MAKE SOME ADDITIONAL TOPPINGS. HERE'S A CHOCOLATE STICK FOR THE MIXED BERRY.

Bec glues a small rectangle of paper with light and dark brown paint splatter under a curve in the blue and pink ice cream.

Bec says, AND I MADE THESE WAFERS BY FOLDING UP SOME OTHER SMALL BITS.

Bec glues folded, triangular pieces of yellow splatter paper under curves in the two ice creams.

Bec says, AND THERE IS A PICTURE OF ICE CREAMS USING A SALAD SPINNER PAINTING TECHNIQUE.

In animation, a picture frame appears around the ice cream salad spinner and the painting sparkles.

[Paint splattering]

Behind the takeaway front counter, Bec holds up her ghost book.

Bec says, I STILL WANNA KNOW HOW THE GHOST STORY ENDS.

Bec opens her book and takes a look. Behind her, the door on one of the craft supply fridges opens.

[Door creaking]

Bec closes her book and furrows her brow.

Bec says, WHAT WAS THAT?

Bec glances over her shoulder and frowns.

Bec says, WEIRD.

Bec closes the door. The door on the other fridge opens.

[Door creaking]

Bec says, OH, NO! THE GHOST IS BACK! IT'S PLAYING WITH MY FRIDGE DOORS.

Bec closes the door, and then both fridge doors open.

[Door creaking]

Bec says, OH, LEAVE ME ALONE, GHOST!

Both fridge doors close.

[Doors slamming]

Bec says, THANK YOU!

[Notification alert dinging]

An order ticket prints from the Makeaway Takeaway order screen.

[Printer whirring]

Bec says, YAY, A CUSTOMER!

On the order ticket, Bec watches a video of the blond-haired boy wearing a blue T-shirt.

The blond-haired boy says, HELLO, MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY. BEC, I NEED YOUR HELP! MY FAMILY LOVE BAKING, ESPECIALLY BISCUITS, BREADS, AND CAKES. RECENTLY, MY FAMILY HAVE BOUGHT A NEW SET OF BAKING TRAYS. WHAT CAN WE DO TO THE OLD ONES?

Bec says, DON'T WORRY, I'M SURE I CAN WHISK SOMETHING UP! ONE ARTY DELIVERY ON ITS WAY.

Bec grabs the order ticket and leaves.

[Energetic music plays]

In a comic book panel, Bec ties the laces on her pink sneakers and straightens her socks. She snaps her suspenders and puts on a Makeaway Takeaway visor. Bec puts on a craft tool belt which carries a paint roller, pen, scissors and other craft supplies. She straightens the collar of her shirt, winks, and gives a thumbs-up.

Bec says, LET'S DO THIS!

[Paint splattering]

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

On a staircase, the blond-haired boy sits with a black-haired man and a blond-haired woman. The black-haired man wears glasses and a green T-shirt. The blond-haired woman’s hair reaches her shoulders, and she wears a sleeveless peach-coloured blouse. They all smile and wave.

The blond-haired boy narrates, HELLO, MY NAME IS ETHAN, AND I LIVE WITH MY MUM AND DAD. I LOVE MAGIC, WIZARDS, SPELLS, AND POTIONS.

On a window bench, Ethan waves a wand. A wizard’s hat appears on his head, and he disappears. In the kitchen, Ethan’s parents, the black-haired man and blond-haired woman, wear chef’s hats and wizard capes. Ethan’s dad uses a whisk, and his mum weighs flour.

Ethan narrates, MY PARENTS ARE WIZARDS IN THE KITCHEN AND ARE ALWAYS COOKING UP TREATS. I'M PRETTY GOOD AT IT MYSELF.

Ethan reappears in a chair at the kitchen island.

Ethan narrates, WOW! LOOKS LIKE I GOT SOME MAGIC POWERS!

Ethan waves his wand, and a chocolate cake appears in front of him.

Ethan narrates, OH, LOVE CHOCOLATE CAKE, ME. RECENTLY WE GOT SOME NEW BAKING TRAYS. CAN YOU COME UP WITH A CLEVER TRANSFORMATION FOR THE OLD ONES?

Ethan’s dad pulls a pie out of the oven on a baking tray.

[Doorbell ringing]

[Ethan gasping]

Ethan says, MAGIC! BEC'S HERE!

[Whooshing]

In a craft room, Bec joins Ethan at a craft table. Ethan wears a blue Makeaway Takeaway apron. A black, stained baking tray lies in the middle on top of a large sheet of cardboard. Other craft supplies on the table include small containers of paint, paintbrushes, and cups of pencil crayons, pens and markers.

Bec says, HI ETHAN!

Ethan says, HELLO, BEC!

Bec asks, HOW CAN I HELP?

Ethan says, I'VE GOT SOME OLD BAKING TRAYS AND I'M WONDERING WHAT TO DO WITH THEM.

Bec says, OH, GOOD QUESTION. HOW ABOUT A CAULDRON NOTICE BOARD?

A tray painted light and dark green hangs on a large cauldron painted with green bubbles billowing out. An eyeball magnet holds a checklist on the tray. A mushroom magnet holds a paint palette drawing.

[Fanfare briefly plays]

[Cheering and applause]

Ethan says, WOW, THAT SOUNDS AMAZING.

[Paint splattering]

[Gentle, funky music plays]

At the craft table, Bec says, WE'RE GOING TO START WITH A LARGE PIECE OF CARD THAT I'VE CUT OUT FROM A RECYCLE BOX. WE WANNA MAKE SURE THAT THE CAULDRON IS BIG ENOUGH TO FIT IT ON.

Ethan says, YEP.

Bec draws around the baking tray on top of the large sheet of cardboard with a black marker.

Bec says, WE'LL DRAW A BIG CAULDRON WITH SOME HANDLES, AND A LIP AT THE TOP.

Ethan says, IT KIND OF LOOKS LIKE A BEAR WITH EARS.

Bec says, IT DOES LOOK LIKE A BEAR WITH EARS.

[Bec and Ethan giggling]

Bec says, ADD SOME BUBBLES. AND THE LEGS.

Bec draws bubbles over the lip of her cauldron and legs underneath.

Bec says, THERE WE GO. AND NOW IT'S TIME TO CUT IT OUT. YOU MIGHT WANT AN ADULT TO HELP YOU WITH THIS BIT.

Bec cuts the cauldron out of the cardboard with scissors.

Bec asks, IF YOU COULD MAKE ANY POTION, WHAT WOULD IT BE FOR?

Ethan says, IT'D PROBABLY BE LIKE A POTION TO CURE ANYTHING IN THE WORLD. IT'D CURE ANY DISEASE.

Bec says, I'LL TAKE ONE. TAKE MY MONEY, PLEASE.

[Bec and Ethan giggling]

[Scissors snipping]

Later at the craft table, Bec holds up the cardboard cauldron.

Bec says, SO WE'VE CUT OUT OUR CAULDRON.

Ethan says, YAY!

Bec asks, YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?

Ethan says, PAINTING TIME!

Bec cheers, PAINTING TIME!

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

Ethan paints the cauldron grey. Bec paints the tray light and dark green. Ethan paints the cauldron bubbles various shades of green.

[Whooshing]

Later at the craft table, white bubbles that are various shades of green decorate the tray. Bec paints shading onto the cauldron with black paint.

Bec says, IT'S DRY! AND I'M JUST PUTTING SOME SHADING ON THE SIDE, AND SOME HIGHLIGHTS ON THE BUBBLES.

Bec paints white highlights onto bubbles on the tray. She ties green wool around one of the handles on the cauldron.

Bec says, WE'VE GOT A PIECE OF WOOL HERE, I'M JUST GOING TO TIE IT TO THE HANDLES OF THE CAULDRON SO WE CAN HANG IT UP LATER. NOW WE'RE GOING TO STICK ETHAN'S TRAY ONTO THE CAULDRON USING SOME STRONG GLUE.

[Funky, upbeat music plays]

Bec squeezes a spiral of glue onto the middle of the cauldron.

Bec says, OKAY, ETHAN, POP YOUR TRAY ON.

Ethan presses the baking tray onto the glue.

Ethan says, THERE WE GO.

Bec says, PERFECTO!

Ethan says, EY!

Bec says, WE'RE GOING TO LET THE GLUE DRY. AND WE'RE GOING TO MAKE SOME MAGNETS!

Bec pushes the cauldron aside.

Bec says, WE'RE GOING TO MAKE OUR MAGNETS OUT OF SALT DOUGH. WE'RE GOING TO USE 250G OF FLOUR, 125G OF SALT, AND 125ML OF WATER. AND I'M GOING TO HAND THAT TO YOU, ETHAN.

Bec pours flour, salt and water into a large glass mixing bowl, and passes the bowl to Ethan.

Ethan says, THANK YOU.

Bec says, SO YOU CAN STIR IT LIKE A WIZARD STIRRING A CAULDRON.

Ethan starts mixing the ingredients with a wooden spoon.

Bec asks, WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU WOULD SAY WHILE STIRRING A CAULDRON?

Ethan says, SLODGEY PODGE.

Bec says, SLODGEY PODGE, I LIKE THAT.

Ethan mixes the ingredients into a dough.

Ethan says, YEAH, THAT LOOKS PRETTY GOOD.

Bec says, THANKS.

Bec says, OKAY, WELL I THINK WE SHOULD MAKE OUR MAGNETS LOOK LIKE INGREDIENTS FOR A CAULDRON.

Ethan says, OH, LIKE AN EYEBALL?

Bec says, YEAH, LIKE AN EYEBALL! SO YOU WANNA GRAB SOME OF THE SALT DOUGH THERE. JUST GET A LITTLE BIT FOR YOUR EYEBALL. I'M GOING TO MAKE A WORM.

Ethan grabs a small handful of the salt dough and rolls it into a ball. Bec rolls some of the dough between her hands and shapes it into a worm.

Bec says, I'VE MADE SOME OTHER SHAPES HERE. WE'VE GOT A SPIDER, A BONE, AND A MUSHROOM. AND WE'LL POP OUR WORM AND EYEBALL ON THE TRAY. AND I'M GOING TO GO BAKE THESE IN AN OVEN AT 120 DEGREES FOR THREE HOURS OR UNTIL SOLID.

Bec and Ethan add their creations to the tray with the spider, bone and mushroom.

Ethan says, OKAY.

Bec says, YOU PROBABLY WANT AN ADULT TO HELP WITH THIS BIT.

Bec leaves with the tray.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the craft table, the creations lie dry on the tray.

Bec says, OUR SHAPES ARE COOKED AND NOW THEY'RE COLD. SO WE CAN PAINT THEM.

[Cheerful, upbeat music plays]

Bec and Ethan paint their creations. Ethan paints the eyeball and the mushroom. Bec paints the worm and spider.

[Whooshing]

Later at the craft table, Bec says, OUR BASE COLOURS ARE ALL DRY, SO WE'RE GOING TO START ON THE DETAILS. ADDING SOME STRIPES TO THE WORM, AND ETHAN'S WORKING ON THE EYEBALL.

Bec paints lines onto the worm. Ethan paints the eyeball iris blue.

Bec says, THAT BLUE'S LOOKING GOOD!

Ethan says, THANKS, BEC.

Bec asks, DO YOU WANT TO GET STARTED ON THE SPIDER?

Ethan says, YEAH, THANKS.

Bec passes the spider to Ethan, and he adds red details.

Bec says, YOU'RE GOING TO KEEP ADDING DETAILS AND THEN LEAVE THEM TO DRY.

Bec adds black dots to the worm’s eyes.

[Whooshing]

Later at the craft table, Bec says, WE'VE PAINTED ALL THE DETAILS, AND ON THE BACK I'VE ADDED SOME MAGNETS. YOU CAN BUY THESE FROM THE SHOPS OR ONLINE.

Bec flips over the mushroom, revealing a small square magnet.

Bec says, WE'RE NEARLY FINISHED, BUT WE'RE GOING TO NEED SOME NOTICES FOR THIS NOTICE BOARD.

Ethan says, EXACTLY.

Bec says, MMM. WHAT'S SOMETHING THAT YOU FORGET?

Ethan says, A LOT OF TIME I FORGET TO BRING MY LUNCH TO SCHOOL.

Bec says, AH, OKAY. CAN'T BE HAVING THAT. SO LET'S DRAW A SANDWICH HERE.

Bec draws a sandwich on a square piece of paper.

Bec says, SHALL WE TEST IT OUT?

Ethan says, YEAH, SURE!

Bec says, OKAY. HERE'S YOUR NOTICE BOARD.

Bec picks up the finished cauldron notice board. Ethan sticks the sandwich drawing onto the baking tray with the eyeball magnet.

Ethan says, OH. HEY!

Bec says, EXCELLENT.

Ethan puts the bone, mushroom, spider and worm magnets on the tray.

Ethan says, THERE WE GO!

Bec says, THERE YOU HAVE IT, YOUR CAULDRON NOTICE BOARD.

[Paint splattering]

[Upbeat music plays]

Ethan’s mom holds the eyeball magnet over her eye. In the family kitchen, the cauldron notice board hangs on a wall. Ethan and his mom stick a paint palette drawing on the board with the eyeball magnet.

Ethan says, THANKS, BEC, WE LOVE OUR NEW CAULDRON NOTICE BOARD. IT'S A GREAT
PLACE TO PUT ALL OUR NOTES SO WE REMEMBER THINGS.

Ethan and his parents smile. Back at the takeaway, Bec stands by the back counter with Ethan’s order ticket.

Bec says, YOU'RE WELCOME, ETHAN! AND THAT CAULDRON CERTAINLY IS SPELLBINDING. ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Bec places Ethan’s order ticket in a tray on the back counter.

[Register dinging]

Bec pulls her phone out of her apron pocket.

Bec says, I'M FILMING ALL THE PARANORMAL ACTIVITY SO I CAN PROVE THAT THIS TAKEAWAY IS HAUNTED.

Bec films herself and says, THERE'S SO MANY STRANGE THINGS HAPPENING AROUND HERE. I CAN'T EXPLAIN THEM.

Bec walks toward a wet floor sign beside a mop and bucket. She slips in a puddle.

Bec yelps, WHOA!

[Bec groaning]

To her phone, Bec says, DID YOU SEE THAT? SOMETHING JUST PUSHED ME OVER!

Bec sits up and spots the sign.

Bec says, OH, IT'S JUST A WET FLOOR. I GOT SPOOKY THINGS ON THE BRAIN! I'LL CLEAN THIS UP LATER. TIME FOR SOME PAPER PUPPETRY!

Bec stands up.

[Whooshing]

Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Whooshing]

[Funky music plays]

Bec stands beside a large notepad. The notepad features a drawing of Little Red Riding Hood standing at the end of her grandmother’s bed. Through the window, dark clouds block the moon. Bec moves levers sticking out from behind the drawing, and the clouds move.

[Wolf howling]

Bec furrows her brow. She pulls a lever, and a drawing of a wolf’s head replaces the drawing of the grandmother’s head.

[Bec howling like a wolf]

Bec looks scared.

[Whooshing]

At the takeaway, Bec stands behind the front counter reading her ghost book. She purses her lips and knits her brow.

Bec lowers her book and says, HM, I WONDER IF I COULD SPEAK GHOST.

Bec closes her book.

[Bec imitating a ghost]

[Howling]

Like a ghost, Bec says, OHHH.

Someone with a deep voice says, OOOH.

Bec puts down her book and says, RIGHT, YOU DON'T SAY. TURNS OUT I CAN.

[Someone vocalizing]

Bec says, SHE WANTS TO SEE A MEGA MINI MAKE! BETTER NOT DISAPPOINT HER.

[Paint splattering]

Bec takes a seat at the Mega Mini Make table, where craft supplies are laid out, including strips of orange and red card paper, purple card, large pieces of blue paper, an I.D. Card, and white paper stars.

Bec says, I'M GOING TO MAKE A MAGIC WALLET.

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

Bec says, I'M STARTING WITH TWO STRIPS OF ORANGE CARD AND PLACING THEM IN A CROSS.

Bec makes a narrow X with two long, narrow rectangular pieces of light orange card paper.

Bec says, THERE WE GO. THEN I'M TAKING A PIECE OF BLUE CARD THAT I CUT OUT TO BE LARGER THAN MY STAFF CARD. AND PLACE IT IN THE CENTRE OF THE CROSS, FOLD DOWN ONE SIDE OF THE CROSS ONTO THE CARD. TAPE IT DOWN. MAKE SURE IT'S NICE AND TIGHT. SO YOU CAN USE A LOT OF TAPE FOR THIS ONE.

Bec places a rectangular piece of light blue card paper larger than the I.D. card vertically over the middle of the orange X. She folds the left sides of the X strips over the blue card and tapes them down onto the card.

Bec says, TAKE THE SECOND PIECE OF CARD AND SLIDE IT UNDER THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CROSS. AND TAPE IT DOWN.

Bec slides a second piece of light blue card paper under the right side of the X and tapes the strips down onto the card.

Bec says, TAKE ONE STRIP OF RED CARD AND PLACE ONE HALF OVER THE BLUE AND THE OTHER HALF UNDER. I WANT TO MAKE SURE IT'S STRAIGHT AND DOESN'T CROSS OVER THIS ORANGE PART IN THE CENTRE.

Bec slides a narrow red strip of card paper horizontally down the slit between the blue cards. The left end of the strip meets the left end of the blue card and remains above the orange strips of paper.

Bec says, STICK IT DOWN NICE AND TIGHT. I'LL FOLD OVER THE OTHER SIDE. THEN DO THE SAME WITH THE OTHER STRIP.

Bec tapes down the red strip and folds the right end of the strip to the slit between the cards. She tapes it down and slides the second red strip between the blue cards at the bottom.

[Paint splattering]

Later at the Mega Mini Make table, Bec points to the pieces of tape on the card paper.

Bec says, I WANT TO COVER THIS MESS UP, SO I'VE CUT OUT SOME PURPLE CARD TO STICK OVER THE TOP.

Bec presses two pieces of purple rectangular card paper with double-sided tape onto the pieces of blue card paper.

Bec says, PUSH IT DOWN. I'M USING DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE, BUT YOU COULD ALSO USE A GLUESTICK. FOR SOME MAGICAL DECORATION, I'VE CUT OUT TWO IDENTICAL STARS THAT I'M STICKING DOWN SO THEY'RE IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE.

Bec sticks yellow paper stars onto each purple card.

Bec says, TIME FOR THE MAGIC. I'LL PUT MY CARD IN THE SIDE WITH THE ORANGE CROSS, CLOSE IT.

In the wallet, Bec slides her I.D. card behind the X and closes it.

Bec says, OPEN IT ON THE OTHER SIDE.

Bec opens the wallet, moving from right to left. The card is behind the red stripes on the other side.

[Exciting, cheerful music plays]

Bec says, IT'S ON THE SIDE WITH THE RED STRIPES! AMAZING. LET'S SEE THAT AGAIN. IT'S IN THE SIDE WITH THE ORANGE CROSS.

Bec closes the wallet. She opens it, moving from right to left.

Bec says, OPEN IT UP ON THE OTHER SIDE.

[Bec gasping]

The I.D. card is behind the red stripes.

Bec says, IT'S NOW GOT RED STRIPES. WHAT?

Bec opens and closes the wallet, and the I.D. card moves sides.

Bec says, THERE IS YOUR MAGIC WALLET.

[Paint splattering]

Bec stands in front of the front counter wearing blue Makeaway Takeaway coveralls and a backpack vacuum. She holds up the vacuum hose.

Bec says, TIME TO CATCH THIS GHOST ONCE AND FOR ALL WITH MY HANDY GHOST CATCHER! IT'S THE PERFECT TOOL FOR CATCHING A GHOUL.

Different-coloured paint splatter icons decorate the vacuum, the Ghost Catcher. Bec turns on the Ghost Catcher.

[Ghost Catcher whirring]

[Spooky music plays]

Bec creeps behind the lunch table, then swings around.

[Bec yelping]

Bec blasts a stream of pink light out of the Ghost Catcher hose.

Bec yells, AH! AHHHHH!

Bec sucks a ghost into the Ghost Catcher and stumbles backward.

Bec says, I CAUGHT IT. THIS TAKEAWAY IS HAUNTED NO MORE!

[Notification alert dinging]

An order ticket prints from the Makeaway Takeaway order screen.

Bec says, A CUSTOMER! I'D BETTER GET CHANGED.

On the order screen, a boy with short, dark brown hair wears a white T-shirt with colourful stripes.

The brown-haired boy says, IT'S THE MAKE OF THE DAY!

Behind the front counter in her regular Makeaway Takeaway uniform, Bec grins.

[Cheerful, upbeat music plays]

The brown-haired boy says, HI, I'M HARRY AND I'M FROM LONDON.

Bec says, HI HARRY!

Harry says, WHAT CAN YOU MAKE OUT OF THESE THREE INGREDIENTS? LOLLY STICKS. WOODEN STICKS. AND A SHOEBOX.

Plates with popsicle sticks, known as lolly sticks, wooden craft sticks, and a large shoebox roll out on the front counter conveyor belt.

Bec says, OOH, GOOD INGREDIENTS, HARRY. TELL ME, DO YOU HAVE ANY HOBBIES?

Harry says, MY HOBBIES ARE TENNIS, FOOTBALL, AND SPORTS IN GENERAL.

Bec says, WHOA, YOU'RE VERY SPORTY! AND YOU'VE GIVEN ME AN IDEA. ONE MAKE OF THE DAY COMING RIGHT UP!

Bec steps behind the front counter with the Make of the Day ingredients and other craft supplies laid out, including scissors, a ruler, markers, a glue stick, a small bowl, containers of paint, large green rectangular strips of paper and elastic bands.

Bec says, I'M GOING TO MAKE A BOX BALL GAME WITH HARRY'S INGREDIENTS.

[Triumphant music sting]

[Cheering and applause]

A box ball table game made of a shoe box and wooden sticks is shown. Chicken and fox soccer players on popsicle sticks swing on wooden sticks inside the box.

[Paint splattering]

[Cheerful music plays]

Behind the front counter, Bec says, I'M STARTING WITH HARRY'S FIRST INGREDIENT, THE SHOEBOX! I'M DRAWING A LINE AROUND THE TOP A RULER'S WIDTH.

Bec places the shoe box on its side and draws a line the width of a ruler around it using her ruler.

Bec says, PLACE FOUR DOTS EQUAL DISTANCE FROM EACH OTHER SO THAT WE CAN MAKE SURE THAT THEY MATCH ON THE OTHER SIDE. THEN, DO THE OTHER SIDE.

Bec places evenly spaced dots across one long side of the box and then flips the box over.

[Paint splattering]

Later, behind the front counter, Bec says, NOW I'LL USE ONE OF HARRY'S SECOND INGREDIENTS - THE WOODEN STICKS. BEING VERY CAREFUL, I'M GOING TO POKE THE STICK THROUGH THE HOLES. WATCH YOUR FINGERS. YOU MIGHT WANT AN ADULT TO HELP WITH THIS BIT.

Bec pushes the pointed end of a wooden craft stick through the dots on one side of the shoe box.

[Popping]

Bec says, TIME TO DO THE OTHER SIDE.

Bec pops a hole through a dot on the other side of the box.

[Popping]

[Paint splattering]

Later, behind the front counter, Bec says, OUR BOX NEEDS SOME GOALS, SO I'M GOING TO DRAW A SEMI-CIRCLE AROUND A BOWL ON EACH END. AND THEN I'LL CUT THEM OUT!

Bec traces half a bowl onto the ends of the shoebox, drawing a half circle.

[Whooshing]

[Scissors snipping]

Later, behind the counter, Bec holds the shoe box with the semi-circular cutouts.

Bec says, THE GOALS ARE CUT OUT AND NOW IT'S TIME TO PAINT.

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Bec dips a sponge into a small dish of green paint.

Bec says, I'M GOING TO USE A SPONGE TECHNIQUE, AND I'LL START WITH GREEN, WHICH CAN BE THE GRASS. WHAT'S NICE ABOUT THIS TECHNIQUE IS THAT GIVES IT A BIT OF TEXTURE.

Bec dabs the sponge onto the lower half of the shoe box.

Bec says, I'LL GO ABOUT HALFWAY UP AND NOW I'LL DO THE SKY.

Bec dabs a sponge dipped in light blue paint across the upper half of the shoe box.

Bec says, YOU CAN SEE HOW THE PAINT COVERS ALL THE MEASUREMENT LINES. I'M GOING TO KEEP GOING AND DO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX AND THE INSIDE.

[Whooshing]

Later, behind the counter, Bec says, THE BOX IS ALL PAINTED AND DRY, LET'S MAKE SOME PLAYERS.

Bec sets the now-painted shoe box aside and grabs a small stack of white paper.

[Light, cheerful music plays]

Bec says, I THINK THE TEAM SHOULD BE MORTAL ENEMIES, SO WE SHOULD GO WITH A CHICKEN AND A FOX. LET'S START WITH A CHICKEN. A LITTLE BEAK, SOME ROUND EYES, A CREST, AND A ROUND HEAD. LET'S MAKE A FEATHERY BODY.

Bec draws a chicken using a black marker.

Bec says, FOR THE FOX, A TRIANGULAR HEAD, TWO TRIANGULAR EARS, SOME BEADY EYES, AND A FLUFFY BODY.

Bec draws a fox beside the chicken.

Bec says, THERE'S GOING TO BE THREE PLAYERS ON EACH TEAM, SO I NEED SIX OF THESE, YOU'LL SEE WHY LATER. I'M GOING TO USE THIS TO TRACE OVER AND MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE PLAYERS LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME.

Bec places a blank piece of paper over the chicken and fox drawings. She starts tracing over the chicken.

Bec asks, WHAT TEAMS WOULD YOU MAKE? YOU COULD DO ANIMALS, FOOTBALL PLAYERS, OR EVEN YOUR FRIENDS!

Bec grins and continues tracing.

Bec says, I'LL KEEP GOING, COLOUR THEM IN, AND CUT THEM OUT.

[Whooshing]

[Scissors snipping]

Later, behind the counter, Bec says, DONE! I'LL SHOW YOU HOW TO MAKE THEM MATCH READY.

6 chicken and 6 fox drawings cut out and coloured in lie on the counter.

[Light, upbeat music plays]

Bec says, I'M USING HARRY'S THIRD INGREDIENT - THE LOLLY STICKS. I'M GOING TO TAKE TWO STICKS AND USING AN ELASTIC BAND I'LL TIE THEM TOGETHER AT THE TOP.

Bec holds two popsicle sticks, lolly sticks, together and wraps an elastic band around the tops of them.

Bec says, THAT LOOKS GOOD. NEXT, TAKE SOME GLUE AND POP IT ON THE STICK, THEN POP ONE PLAYER ON ONE SIDE, TURN IT OVER AND DO THE OTHER. I'LL POP A LITTLE BIT ON THE EARS AND THE SHOULDERS. THERE.

Bec glues a fox onto one of the popsicle sticks using a glue stick. She flips it over and spreads glue across the exposed second popsicle stick and back of the fox. She presses a second fox onto the second popsicle stick and the back of the first fox.

Bec says. THERE'S ONE OF OUR PLAYERS. NOW I'LL DO THE OTHERS.

[Paint splattering]

Later, behind the counter, three chicken players and three fox players on popsicle sticks lie beside a cardboard semi-circle and a wide rectangular strip of green card paper.

[Funky, cheerful music plays]

Bec says, I FINISHED THE PLAYERS, NOW I'M WORKING ON THE GOALS. I'VE CUT THESE SEMI-CIRCLES OUT OF THE SHOEBOX LID, AND SOME STRIPS OF GREEN CARD. I'VE MADE SURE THE CARD DOESN'T GO ALL THE WAY AROUND THE SHAPE 'CAUSE I WANT TO LEAVE A SPACE SO I CAN ATTACH IT TO THE SHOEBOX.

Bec holds the green strip over the curve of the semicircle.

Bec says, I'LL FOLD THIS IN HALF. NOW I'LL USE THE FOLDED LINE AS A GUIDE TO CUT SOME TABS. YOU'LL SEE BY DOING THAT IT'S GOING TO ALLOW ME TO BEND THE CARD INTO A SHAPE.

Bec folds the green strip in half. She unfolds the strip and cuts evenly spaced lines into half of the strip lengthwise. She easily bends the strip inward.

Bec says, ADD SOME GLUE. AND STICK IT ON.

Bec spreads glue onto each tab on the strip. She wraps the strip around the curved edge of the cardboard semi-circle and presses the cardboard onto the tabs. Bec grabs a second, finished cardboard goal.

Bec says, I'VE GOT MY TWO GOALS. I CAN ATTACH THEM TO THE SHOEBOX. PUT SOME GLUE ON THE END.

Bec spreads glue across the flat side of the semi-circle and places it under one of the goal ends of the shoe box. She lines up the shoe box with the green strip and glues the semi-circle in place.

Bec says, NOW THERE'S SOMEWHERE TO CATCH THE BALL.

[Paint splattering]

[Gentle, uplifting music plays]

Later, behind the counter, Bec says, FINISHED ALL THE DECORATIONS - THE PICKET FENCE AND THE INSIDE OF THE GOALS.

A popsicle stick picket fence decorates the sides of the shoebox. Inside the box, a fox’s mouth is painted around one goal and a bird’s nest is painted around the other. Wooden craft sticks lie in place through the holes on opposite sides of the box with yellow felt handles.

Bec says, I'M JUST ADDING THE FINAL WOODEN STICK. THROUGH ONE HOLE AND THE OTHER. I'VE MADE A HANDLE BY WRAPPING A PIECE OF FELT AROUND THE WOODEN STICK.

Bec slides a wooden craft stick through the last holes and wraps a small strip of yellow felt around the ends.

Bec says, NOW TO ADD THE PLAYERS!

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

Bec says, PULL THE LOLLY STICKS APART AND SLIDE THEM OVER THE WOODEN STICKS.

Bec carefully pulls the popsicle sticks of a chicken player and a fox apart and slides them over the wooden craft sticks closest to the goals on opposite ends of the box.

Bec says, THERE'S THE GOALIES AND THE OTHER PLAYERS.

Bec adds the other fox and chicken players to the box. The chickens go in front of the fox goalie, and the foxes go in front of the chicken goalie.

Bec says, FINALLY, THIS GAME NEEDS A BALL! I'VE MADE AN EGG OUT OF A PING-PONG BALL. LET'S PLAY!

Bec drops a ping-pong ball with drawn-on cracks into the box. She twists, pulls and pushes the wooden craft sticks and moves the chicken and fox players. The popsicle sticks on the players move the ball around the box.

Bec says, WHOA, IT'S A CLOSE MATCH! FOXES ARE IN THE LEAD!

Bec moves a fox player, and the ball rolls into the bird’s nest net.

Bec cheers, GOAL!

[Faint cheering]

Bec says, AND THERE IS YOUR BOX BALL GAME. WHILE I PACKAGE THIS UP FOR HARRY, HERE'S SOME OTHER IDEAS.

Bec picks up the box ball game.

[Whooshing]

[Scissors snipping]

[Upbeat music plays]

A box ball game is shown with skeleton and ghost players, an eyeball ball, and an oozing green field.

Bec narrates, WHY NOT MAKE SOME SPOOKY TEAMS OF SKELETONS AND GHOSTS? OR A GALAXY OF INTERGALACTIC ALIENS?

A space-themed box ball game features pink and green alien players in a galaxy field. In the takeaway, Bec carefully slides a large takeout bag with the chicken and the Fox Box ball game into the takeout hatch.

Bec says, THERE YOU GO, HARRY, YOU CAN BE A REAL FOX IN A BOX WITH THIS! ONE MAKE OF THE DAY ON ITS WAY!

Bec presses a button beside the hatch, and the platform inside rises.

[Beeping]

[Paint splattering]

At Harry’s house, Harry pulls the Fox Box ball game out of the takeout bag.

Harry says, WOW, LOOK AT THIS. IT'S A NEW GAME.

Harry drops the egg ping-pong ball into the box.

Harry says, THANKS, BEC, FOR MY BOX BALL GAME. I LOVE IT!

[Cheering and applause]

Harry turns the wooden craft sticks and knocks the ball through a net.

At the takeaway, Bec says, ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER.

[Whooshing]

Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Whooshing]

[Gentle, spooky music plays]

At the lunch table, Bec sits with her ghost book.

Bec says, I'M SO GLAD THAT PESKY GHOST IS FINALLY GONE. NOW I CAN FINISH MY SCARY STORY IN PEACE!

Reading her book, Bec says, "AND THE GHOST LEFT AND WAS NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN. THE END."

On the front counter behind Bec, the Ghost Catcher hose rises, and the machine shakes. Bec closes her book and smiles.

Bec says, AW, I LOVE A HAPPY ENDING.

[Phone ringing]

Bec glances toward the banana phone on the Mega Mini Make table.

Bec says, THE BANANA PHONE!

Bec answers the banana phone.

[Beeping]

Bec says, HELLO, MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY?

On the other end of the call, a short-haired boy wearing an air cadet uniform, which includes a short-sleeved dark blue button-down shirt and a dark blue beret, sits on a bench.

The short-haired boy says, HI BEC, IT'S HARVEY HERE. CAN YOU DELIVER US AN ARTY SURPRISE FOR OUR FLIGHT SERGEANT WEBSTER?

Bec says, OH, SOUNDS LIKE THE PERFECT CHALLENGE!

Bec ends the call.

[Banana phone beeping]

Bec says, TIME TO FLY!

[Whooshing]

Title: Makeaway Takeaway.

[Whooshing]

In a parking lot, a squad of aid cadets in uniform stand in formation with their arms at their sides.

A drill sergeant says, RIGHT TURN!

In synchronization, the squad turns and adjusts their stance. The sergeant, a man with a neatly trimmed brown beard and glasses, wears a dark blue British Air Force cap, a light blue, short-sleeved button-down shirt and dress pants.

[Feet stomping]

The bearded sergeant says, BY THE LEFT. FORWARD MARCH.

The squad begins marching.

[Marching]

[Intense music plays]

Outside the R.A.F. Air Cadets, Bec looks around wearing her Makeaway Takeaway visor and craft belt. She spots the R.A.F. welcome sign, grins, and gives a thumbs up.

[Sergeant shouting orders]

Inside the R.A.F., Bec gazes at model airplanes and jets.

[Sergeant shouting orders]

Outside, Bec joins the squad.

[Sergeant shouting orders]

Bec marches with the squad, and her smile grows.

[Sergeant shouting orders]

The squad turns around and marches in the other direction. Bec continues marching forward. She glances beside her and frowns. She quickly turns and runs after the squad.

Bec says, WAIT FOR ME!

Bec catches up with the squad.

[Paint splattering]

Elsewhere outside the R.A.F., Harry sits on a blanket with two other cadets, one with dark hair and one with light hair, and they make paper airplanes.

The dark-haired cadet says, YOU READY? THREE, TWO, ONE.

Harry and the two other cadets throw their paper airplanes.

From close by, Bec says, OH, HELLO.

Bec joins the three cadets and asks, IS THIS YOURS?

Bec holds out one of the paper airplanes.

Harry says, UH, YEAH. THANK YOU.

Bec gives Harry the paper airplane and sits on the blanket.

Bec says, UH, YOU MUST BE HARVEY.

Harvey says, YEAH.

Bec says, AND FREDDIE AND LOGAN?

Freddie, the dark-haired cadet, says, YEP.

Logan, the light-haired cadet, says, YEP.

Bec says, HELLO, AND YOU WANT ME TO DELIVER AN ARTY SURPRISE FOR FLIGHT SERGEANT WEBSTER, IS THAT RIGHT?

Harry, Freddie and Logan say, YES.

Bec asks, AND WHY IS THAT?

Harry says, BECAUSE HE'S THE BEST FLIGHT SERGEANT YOU COULD EVER ASK FOR.

Flight Sergeant Webster, the bearded sergeant, watches the squad march.

Bec says, AH, THAT'S NICE. WHAT ELSE DOES FLIGHT SERGEANT WEBSTER DO?

Freddie says, HE HELPS US DO FIRST AID AND DRILLS, WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

During a drill, Flight Sergeant Webster monitors cadets as they walk across a log.

Logan says, HE ALSO TEACHES LOADS OF DIFFERENT THINGS LIKE FLYING PLANES. AND WHEN I'M OLDER I'D LIKE TO FLY.

Bec says, FLYING? YOU'VE INSPIRED ME. I'VE GOT THE PERFECT IDEA. LET'S TAKE OFF!

[Upbeat music plays]

Bec, Harry, Freddie and Logan leave the blanket.

[Paint splattering]

In a grassy field, Harry, Freddie and Logan stand with their feet apart and their hands behind their backs.

Bec says, ALL RIGHT, FIRST WE NEED TO TRIM THIS GRASS. SO HERE, HAVE SOME SCISSORS.

Bec passes out scissors to Harry, Freddie and Logan.

Bec says, GET TO WORK. THANK YOU!

The three cadets begin cutting the grass with the scissors.

[Scissors snipping]

Bec hides a smile with her hand. Harry, Freddie and Logan share a look of confusion and shrug. Elsewhere in the field, Bec grabs a line marker and begins marking the grass. She draws a curved white line. On blank grass, Harry waves Freddie and Logan toward him. Freddie and Logan push line marker machines to Harry. Bec and Freddie follow a string guide on the grass as they mark it. A view from above shows Bec, Harry, Freddie, and Logan working as a design begins to take shape. Bec stops and looks around her. She smiles and puts her hand on her hip. Bec leans against her line marker machine. It rolls away, and she stumbles.

Bec yelps, WHOA!

[Thudding]

Elsewhere on the field, Bec stands with Harry, Freddie, and Logan.

Bec says, I THINK WE'RE DONE. SHOULD WE GET FLIGHT SERGEANT WEBSTER?

Harry, Freddie and Logan say, YEAH!

Freddie adds, LET'S GO!

Bec says, ALL RIGHT, GO, GO, GO!

Harry, Freddie, and Logan run off. Bec salutes the three cadets.

[Paint splattering]

On the field, Flight Sergeant Webster stands with his feet apart, elbows raised and hands over his eyes. The squad of cadets and a team of instructors stand behind him with Bec.

Harry says, TAKE A LOOK.

Flight Sergeant Webster uncovers his eyes and looks at the field. A view from above shows the line marker creation, which depicts an aircraft with a red, white and blue roundel on the wings beside a cloud.

[Exhilarating music plays]

Flight Sergeant Webster says, OH WOW, GUYS, THAT'S AMAZING.

The group gazes at the creation.

Harry says, THANK YOU FOR BEING THE BEST FLIGHT SERGEANT WE COULD ASK FOR.

Freddie says, THANK YOU FOR INSPIRING ALL OF US.

Logan says, YOU MAKE EVERYTHING FUN AND KEEP US CONFIDENT.

Flight Sergeant Webster says, OH, THANKS VERY MUCH, GUYS, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT, IT'S AMAZING.

Freddie says, NO, THANK YOU.

Bec says, THAT'S BEEN ANOTHER BRILLIANT DAY OF DELIVERING ART TO YOUR DOOR. SEE YOU NEXT TIME ON...

Everyone raises their arms and cheers, MAKEAWAY TAKEAWAY!
