[Cheerful music plays, squeaking]

In an animation, Olga da Polga, a brown guinea pig, runs in a meadow. In live action, Karen, a human child with braided blonde hair, runs across a backyard toward Olga and Daisy's hutch. Karen's mom, Mrs. Sawdust, prunes a bush. She has long blonde hair. Mr. Sawdust, who has short grey hair, a beard, and a moustache, stands by a partially finished enclosure.

Olga sings, I'M A GUINEA PIG SENSATION WITH A GREAT IMAGINATION. I'M OLGA DA POLGA, THAT'S ME!

Karen says, OLGA! DAISY! SNACKS!

[Slide whistle, rustling, cheerful music plays, cheering]

Olga imagines herself standing in the first position on a winner’s podium. She catches a bouquet of grass.

Olga sings, MY HEAD IS FULL OF STORIES OF DARING-DO AND GLORIES. SO, GATHER ROUND AND LISTEN TO ME.

On the grass, Graham the tortoise says, AMAZING.

Noel, the black cat, says, RIDICULOUS.

Fangio the hedgehog says, INTERESTING!

Daisy, a black and white guinea pig, says, OH!

Olga sings, OLGA DA POLGA, THAT'S ME!

[Squeaking]

Title: “Olga da Polga.”

Text reads, “Based on the books by Michael Bond.”

Episode Title: “Olga Goes Camping.”

[Serene music plays, birds chirping]

Olga says, LIFE IS VERY PLEASANT AS A GUINEA PIG. I HAVE MY LOVELY HUTCH THAT I SHARE WITH DAISY. WE HAVE RUN WITH A VIEW OF THE GARDEN AND WHEN IT'S VERY COLD, WE STAY INDOORS WITH THE SAWDUSTS. BUT THERE WAS A TIME WHEN THE SAWDUSTS COME OUTSIDE TO STAY WITH ME AND DAISY.

[Noel purring]

Noel lies on the grass.

Olga says, I WAS MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, ENJOYING MY BREAKFAST, WHEN MR. SAWDUST CAUGHT MY ATTENTION.

[Mr. Sawdust sighing]

Mr. Sawdust carries boxes out of a shed and puts them on the grass.

Olga says, HE WAS GOING IN AND OUT OF THE SHED. IT WAS MAKING ME FEEL QUITE DIZZY.

[Sighing]

Mr. Sawdust says, NOPE! I CAN'T FIND IT IN ANY OF THOSE BOXES.

Mrs. Sawdust asks, ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT IF I LOOK THROUGH THESE BOXES, I WON'T FIND THE CAMPING LIGHT?

Mr. Sawdust replies, YES! I'VE GONE THROUGH THEM ALL, AND IT IS DEFINITELY NOT THERE.

[Light music plays]

Mrs. Sawdust takes the camping light out of a box.

Mrs. Sawdust says, AH! WELL, WELL, WELL. LOOK WHAT I FOUND.

[Both laughing, happy music plays]

Olga says, THE SAWDUSTS WERE IN A VERY GOOD MOOD, WHATEVER IT WAS THEY WERE DOING.

[Birds chirping]

Karen runs to the hutch.

Karen asks, DID YOU HEAR WE'RE GOING CAMPING?

Olga says, I HAD NO IDEA WHAT CAMPING WAS, BUT KAREN SEEMED VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT.

Karen says, WE'RE GOING TO SLEEP OUTSIDE AND EAT MARSHMALLOWS AND TELL STORIES. IT'S GOING TO BE A BIG ADVENTURE.

[Upbeat music plays, Karen chuckling, squeaking]

Olga says, WELL, I LIKED ADVENTURES! CAMPING SOUNDED VERY, VERY GOOD FUN INDEED.

Karen says, DON'T WORRY, OLGA. YOU WON'T BE LEFT OUT. YOU AND DAISY CAN GO CAMPING, TOO.

Olga says, WE WERE GOING CAMPING! I WAS EXCITED AND I LET KAREN KNOW ABOUT IT.

[Squeaking, Karen giggling, rustling]

Olga nibbles her food.

Karen says, I NEED TO GO HELP MUM AND DAD FIND THE SLEEPING BAGS. SEE YOU IN A BIT!

[Pastoral music plays]

Pink roses bloom beside a road.

Olga says, I JUST COULDN'T WAIT TO GET READY TO LEAVE.

In the backyard, Graham says, OLGA, ARE YOU THERE?

Olga says, I'LL BE OUT IN A SECOND!

Graham asks, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Olga replies, DAISY AND I ARE JUST GETTING READY FOR OUR BIG ADVENTURE.

Noel asks, WHAT BIG ADVENTURE?

Olga replies, THE SAWDUSTS ARE TAKING US CAMPING. PROBABLY TO SOMEWHERE FAR, FAR AWAY.

[Noel sighing]

Noel says, GUINEA PIGS DON'T CAMP. YOU WON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

Olga says, WELL, THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG. I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW, MY GREAT-GREAT DISTANT AUNTIE IS AN EXPLORER AND AN EXPERT CAMPER.

[Daisy gasping]

Daisy says, HMM.

Noel says, YOU DON'T SAY.

Olga says, I DO SAY! IN FACT, SHE'S THE MOST FAMOUS CAMPER IN THE WORLD.

[Wind whooshing, birds singing, waves sloshing, upbeat music plays]

In an animation, Olga’s Great-Great Distant Auntie walks on a globe. She camps on a mountaintop, sleeps on a hammock in a forest, and sleeps on a small island.

Olga narrates, SHE TREKS ALL OVER THE GLOBE TO THE MOST WONDERFUL PLACES. SETTING UP HER TENT ON THE SNOWIEST MOUNTAINS. SNOOZING IN HER HAMMOCK IN THE DARKEST FOREST OR SLEEPING UNDER THE STARS ON TROPICAL ISLANDS.

[Insects chirping, crunching, inspiring music plays]

At night, Olga’s Great-Great Distant Auntie sleeps in a big tent with two friends. They sit on logs beside a campfire and eat carrots.

Olga narrates, SHE MEETS FRIENDS WITH THEIR BIGGEST TENTS AND WARMEST SLEEPING BAGS. THEY SING SONGS, EAT THEIR CARROTS, AND SWAP STORIES ALL NIGHT LONG. TO THIS DAY, SHE'S STILL OUT THERE CAMPING ALL OVER THE WORLD.

[Birds chirping]

In live action, Olga says, AND I'M GOING TO BE JUST LIKE HER STARTING WITH OUR CAMPING TRIP WITH THE SAWDUSTS. WE'LL PROBABLY BE GOING UP A MOUNTAIN, TOO.

Daisy says, OR MAYBE A FOREST.

Graham says, OH! I WISH I WAS GOING CAMPING.

Olga says, YOU CAN COME NEXT TIME, GRAHAM.

Noel says, WELL, I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING WORSE THAN SLEEPING OUTSIDE.

Olga says, THAT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT AN EXPERT LIKE US. DAISY AND I ARE OUTSIDE ALL SUMMER. NOW, EXCUSE ME, BUT WE HAVE TO FINISH GETTING READY FOR OUR BIG ADVENTURE.

[Graham yawning, gentle music plays, background chattering]

In the backyard, Mr. Sawdust lays out tent poles. Karen and Mrs. Sawdust kneel behind him.

Olga says BUT BY EARLY EVENING, WE STILL HADN'T GONE ANYWHERE.

[Cheerful music plays, birds chirping]

Noah and Fatima run into the backyard. Fatima has dark brown hair and wears a purple sweater, blue leggings and neon pink shoes. Noah has red hair, a blue shirt, and grey pants. They both wear backpacks.

They say, HI.

Karen says, NOAH, FATIMA, YOU'RE HERE!

Mr. Sawdust says, HEY! WELCOME TO CAMP GARDEN!

[Rustling]

Olga nibbles her food.

Olga says, CAMP GARDEN? THAT WAS A STRANGE NAME FOR A MOUNTAIN.

Mrs. Sawdust asks, ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO SLEEPING UNDER THE STARS?

Noah says, YEAH! I CAN'T WAIT!

Olga says, SO WAS I. I COULDN'T WAIT EITHER.

Mr. Sawdust says, WELL, COME ON! LET'S GET GOING!

The children run to the camping gear on the grass.

Olga says, YES! WE WERE FINALLY ON OUR WAY!

Mrs. Sawdust says, LET'S GET OUR TENTS SET UP AND THEN WE CAN FIX UP OLGA AND DAISY'S HUTCH.

Olga says, BUT INSTEAD OF GOING, THE SAWDUSTS SEEMED TO BE STAYING.

[Rustling]

Mr. Sawdust has the tent over his head. Mrs. Sawdust stands beside him, adjusting a tent pole.

Mrs. Sawdust says, YOU'VE GOT THAT ONE TO DO ALREADY, SO THIS MUST BE—

Mr. Sawdust says, GIVE ME A PEG.

Olga says, I HAD NO IDEA WHY THE SAWDUSTS WERE SETTING THEIR CAMPING THINGS UP HERE. THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE TO PACK IT ALL BACK UP AGAIN WHEN IT WAS TIME TO LEAVE.

[Rustling, children giggling]

The children watch Mr. Sawdust move around with the tent on his head.

Mrs. Sawdust says, I DON'T THINK YOU CAN JUST PUSH IT OUT LIKE THAT.

[Cheerful music plays]

Karen sets up a small blue tent. Noel lies on a stone wall and watches. Mr. and Mrs. Sawdust stand with their hands on their hips and look at a large green tent.

Mr. Sawdust says, YEP, YEP, YEP, YEP, YEP.

Mrs. Sawdust says, IT'S GOOD.

[Hands slapping]

Karen high-fives Noah and Fatima.

Karen says, WE DID IT!

[Rustling, birds chirping]

Karen spreads a small tarp over the top of the hutch.

Karen says, THIS IS GOING TO BE A TENT, AND YOU HAVE SOME FRESH HAY TO CURL UP IN.

[Tense music notes play]

Olga says, I COULD HARDLY BELIEVE IT. WE WERE STAYING IN THE GARDEN! WHERE DAISY AND I ALWAYS SLEPT IN THE SUMMER!

Karen says, THIS IS GOING TO BE SUCH FUN.

Olga says, WE WEREN'T GOING ON A BIG ADVENTURE AFTER ALL. APPARENTLY, WE WERE GOING TO HAVE ONE RIGHT HERE.

[Gentle music plays, Graham humming, Mr. Sawdust chuckling]

A string of party flags flaps in the wind. Graham walks across the grass. The Sawdusts and the children sit on blankets in front of their tents, having a picnic.

Mr. Sawdust says, LOOK AT ALL THIS FOOD! THIS IS REAL CAMPING, YOU KNOW.

[Pretend gobbling, others laughing]

Karen says, THE FOOD'S GREAT, DAD.

Mr. Sawdust says, THANKS!

Mrs. Sawdust says, AND LATER ON, WE CAN TOAST SOME MARSHMALLOWS. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

The children say, YUM!

Olga says, I HAD TO ADMIT. EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T QUITE WHAT I HAD BEEN EXPECTING, I WAS ENJOYING MYSELF. IT WAS NICE SPENDING OUTSIDE TIME WITH THE SAWDUSTS.

[Door creaking, thunking, rubbing]

Karen opens the hutch door, puts lettuce in the food bowl, and closes the door. On the grass, Mr. Sawdust rubs his hands together.

Mr. Sawdust says, RIGHT! WHO IS UP FOR SOME CAMPFIRE STORIES?

[Gentle music plays]

The children run back to the tents.

Olga says, AND THERE WERE STORIES, TOO! IT WAS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER.

Karen says, I'VE GOT ONE.

Mr. Sawdust says, OKAY, OFF YOU GO.

Karen says, ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WAS A BRAVE, ADVENTUROUS GUINEA PIG CALLED OLGA DA POLGA AND HER SIDEKICK, DAISY.

[Children laughing]

Day turns into night, and bats fly past the shining full moon. In the backyard, fairy lights glow softly.

Fangio says, OH, IT'S SO QUIET. I LOVE THE NIGHTTIME.

[Fangio humming]

Olga says, THE SAWDUSTS STAYED OUTSIDE IN THEIR TENTS ALL NIGHT.

Mrs. Sawdust says, RIGHT, KIDS. LIGHTS OUT.

Karen says, OKAY, MUM. NIGHT, NIGHT. NIGHT, OLGA. NIGHT, DAISY.

Mr. Sawdust says, NIGHT, NIGHT.

Mrs. Sawdust says, GOODNIGHT, EVERYONE.

Olga says, AND DAISY AND I SNUGGLED DOWN IN OUR HAY.

[Hay rustling, Fangio humming]

Fangio says, OH, SLUGS.

[Upbeat music plays, rustling, birds chirping]

The next day, Noel, Graham, and Fangio gather beside the hutch.

Olga says, YOU REALLY DID MISS OUT ON ALL THE FUN, NOEL.

Noel says, FUN? YOU ALL SLEPT OUTSIDE IN THE GARDEN. HARDLY THE ADVENTURES YOU TOLD US ABOUT.

Olga says, YES, WELL, THE SAWDUSTS DECIDED TO STAY CLOSER TO HOME, SO US GUINEA PIGS COULD HAVE OUR OWN PERSONAL TENT.

Graham asks, YOU STAYED IN YOUR OWN TENT?

Olga says, YES, WE DID AND WE HAD SNACKS AND THERE WERE STORIES ALL NIGHT LONG.

Graham says, AMAZING.

Noel says, WELL, I WOULDN'T WANT TO BE SLEEPING OUTSIDE.

Olga says, THAT'S BECAUSE CATS JUST AREN'T AS ADVENTUROUS AS GUINEA PIGS. KAREN EVEN TOLD EVERYONE A STORY. SHALL I TELL IT TO YOU?

Graham says, GO ON. TELL US, OLGA.

[Noel groaning, upbeat music plays]

Olga says, WELL, ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WAS A BRAVE, ADVENTUROUS GUINEA PIG CALLED OLGA DA POLGA WHO TEAMED UP WITH HER SIDEKICK, DAISY.

[Gentle music plays, birds chirping]

In the backyard, flowers sway in the breeze. The Sawdusts relax on the grass and sip from yellow cups.

Olga says, YES, I REALLY DO LOVE LIVING WITH THE SAWDUSTS, AND NOW, WHENEVER THERE'S A NICE SUMMER'S EVENING, WE ALL GO ON A BIG CAMPING ADVENTURE. WELL, SORT OF.

[Olga giggling]
