[Child giggles, pop]

[Lively music plays, Flower laughs, Flour the cat vocalizes]

DESCRIPTION: In front of a grocery store, Flower, a seven-year-old girl, wears a white bicycle helmet with cat ears, black overalls, a purple shirt, and boots. She stops beside a purple scooter with a striped basket on the front and looks at Flour the cat napping on bags of flour.

FLOWER: Come on, Flour. Let's go.

[Flower giggles, white-haired man chuckles]

DESCRIPTION: Flour the cat awakens and leaps into Flower’s arms. She puts him in the basket and rides the scooter past a white-haired man. She rides it past a woman with short brown hair and a tall man with brown hair. Between them, Rudy, a boy with short brown hair, holds a burrito.

FLOWER: Hey, Rudy.

RUDY: Hey, Flower.

[Bird squawks, Cuzzy cheers]

DESCRIPTION: A white bird swoops near the basket, and Flour the cat bats at them. Flower rides past Cuzzy, a child wearing a unicorn hat and waves.

FLOWER: Cuzzy!

[Song] Flower and Flour.

DESCRIPTION: Flower waves to Louie, who crouches in front of a box in front of the House of Bargain store. Louie has short black hair.

FLOWER: Hi, Louie!

DESCRIPTION: Flower waves to an adult with short hair sitting on a patio. She waves to a girl with black hair in ponytails who balances on one foot.

[Song] They're Flower and Flour. One's a girl, and one's a cat. Made of flour, clap, clap, clap. I say Flower, you say Flower. Shake your tail, now sing it back.

DESCRIPTION: Flower arrives at "Dirk's Dumpling House," her parents’ restaurant, and high-fives her father, Dirk. He has short brown hair, a beard and a moustache, and is balancing a box on his shoulder. Flower’s mother, Penny, stands beside him. She has her long brown hair in a ponytail and wears eyeglasses, a pink shirt, and pink pants. Flour the cat runs around Dirk, and Penny helps him balance the box. Flower picks up the cat.

[Song] They're Flower and Flour. They're Flower and Flour.

[Title] Flower and Flour.

[Flour the cat meows]

FLOWER: Spring clean!

[Flour the cat meows, upbeat music plays, vehicle horn beeps, scooter wheels rattle]

DESCRIPTION: Outside, Flower rides her scooter and stops beside a community mailbox. Flour the cat stops beside her.

FLOWER: No kids to play with. It's such a ghost town on public holidays.

[Flour the cat meows, boy grunts, dramatic music notes play, the music stops, background traffic hums, squeaks]

DESCRIPTION: Flower and Flour the cat both slump. Nearby, Rudy uses a metal tray as a shield and swings a wooden sword as he pretends to swordfight.

RUDY: Hi-yah! Cop that. Ha!

[Wheels squeak]

DESCRIPTION: Flower rides to Rudy, with Flour the cat in her scooter basket.

FLOWER: Hey, Rudy. Where are you all going?

RUDY: Hey, Flowers. We're going to a castle. Mount Castle.

DESCRIPTION: Behind Rudy, his parents walk away.

FLOWER: Whoa. I've never been to a real castle. Like princesses and knights and dragons?

RUDY: No dragons, please.

DESCRIPTION: Rudy’s mom and dad stop walking and turn towards him.

RUDY’S DAD: Yalla, Habibi. Pack that thing away. Let's go.

RUDY: Gotta run. Trains don't wait.

FLOWER: Bye, Rudy.

[Footsteps patter]

DESCRIPTION: Rudy runs to his parents, and Flower waves.

FLOWER: Wish we were going to a castle. That's just so cool.

[Flour the cat meows sadly, light music plays, crate thumps]

DESCRIPTION: Flower and Flour the cat return to the restaurant. Inside, Dirk puts a crate on a counter, and Penny places a feather duster beside it.

FLOWER: Rudy's going to a real castle, and I'm bored.

DIRK: Ah, cheer up, my little knodel. Today is one of the funnest days of the year: spring clean.

[The music stops]

FLOWER: Oh, Dad, that's your kind of fun, not mine.

DIRK: Think about it, Flower. Our friends are always here. We have to make sure it's super spick and span for them.

[Broom clunks, rustles]

DESCRIPTION: Penny picks up a broom.

PENNY: He's right. Let's do it.

FLOWER: Is it gonna take super long?

[Flour the cat meows, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Dirk gives Flower the broom and walks away.

DIRK: What does "long" even mean? First up, the storeroom.

[Upbeat music plays]

FLOWER: Easy peasy. It's already clean.

[Flour the cat meows, door creaks, the music stops]

DESCRIPTION: The storeroom door swings open, revealing empty boxes, a tipped sandwich board, cushions, crayons, and toys on the floor.

FLOWER: Not how I left it.

[Flour the cat meows]

PENNY: No worries. We'll make it fun.

DIRK: Okay, I'm gonna get cracking on the stove top.

[Flower sighs, upbeat music plays, sandwich board thumps, cushions rustle, Flour the cat purrs, books thump]

DESCRIPTION: Flower picks up the sandwich board and puts it on an overturned milk crate. She puts two cushions in front of it, and Flour the cat jumps up. Flower drops a cushion and two books.

FLOWER: I know! Let's make our own castle!

[Majestic music plays, chalk scratches, chimes]

DESCRIPTION: Flower runs to the sandwich board and draws a crown over the cat’s head.

FLOWER: You can be the royal pet. I mean, an evil witch made the royal pet an angry dragon.

[Flour the cat roars, light music plays, Flower exclaims, thump, whoosh, thump]

DESCRIPTION: Flower erases the crown and draws flames. Flour the cat turns and opens his mouth, making it appear he’s breathing fire. Flower drops the chalk and dives away from Flour the cat, landing by flour sacks. She throws cushions at the cat, who jumps and lands behind the cushions.

FLOWER: Trapped!

[Cushions rustle, Flour the cat meows, Flour the cat purrs, faraway clattering]

DESCRIPTION: Flour the cat lies down on the new cushions. Flower wears a metal bowl as a helmet, with a scrubbing brush taped to the front.

DIRK: Oh!

[Flower gasps, dramatic music plays]

FLOWER: Our castle's under attack. Flour, you're trapped here until I come back. Princess Knight Flower's orders.

[Footsteps patter, Flour the cat meows, door rattles, upbeat music plays, cup clinks, cup scrapes]

DESCRIPTION: Flower runs to the door, and Flour the cat naps. Flower slides the kitchen door open and watches Penny put a cup on a shelf. Beside her, Dirk cleans the stovetop. Penny walks to the pass-through window, and Dirk sneaks to the shelf and repositions the cup.

PENNY: Seriously? You're cleaning my cleaning? Aren't you meant to be doing the stove top?

DIRK: Yeah, but I just want everything done right.

[Penny laughs, light music plays]

PENNY: Oh, is that right?

FLOWER: Queen Schnookiland. King Dirko. You told Princess Knight Flower cleaning can be fun, remember?

DIRK: I know. It's just that it has to be finished today.

[Upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Penny takes Flower’s hand, and they walk towards the storage room.

PENNY: Princess Flower, come with me. King Cleansington, you keep doing your thing.

FLOWER: An evil witch trapped him anyway. He can't leave the kitchen until it is super clean. Magic!

DIRK: What the—

[Penny chuckles]

FLOWER: Trapped!

[Flower and Penny laugh, Dirk chuckles, sponge squeaks, Flour the cat purrs]

DESCRIPTION: In the storage room, Flower wipes her helmet with a sponge as she sits on an overturned milk crate beside the sleeping cat, Flour.

FLOWER: Oh, how else can I have fun when my royal pet is a trapped dragon?

[Jars clink, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Penny takes two jars out of a cabinet, then twirls.

PENNY SINGS: Well, if it is the pet you miss, you must cast a wish.

FLOWER: A wish?

[Tense music plays]

PENNY: If the royal pet isn't turned back into a cat today, he will be a dragon forever.

[Flour the cat meows]

DESCRIPTION: Flour the cat looks at Penny.

FLOWER: Oh, no!

PENNY: Yep, truth. There's a magical item hidden in the room where thou doth dine. Find it, and clean the room, then the cat will be thine!

[Flower giggles]

DESCRIPTION: Flower looks under a table. She walks to the restaurant dining room and stands with her hands on her hips.

FLOWER: Hmm.

[Upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Flower looks under another table and finds the feather duster leaning against a chair.

FLOWER: Ah-ha!

[Woosh, Flower laughs, hums]

DESCRIPTION: Flower picks up the feather duster and dusts the table. She dusts the floor, the back of cabinets, and a cuckoo clock.

FLOWER SINGS: La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la.

[Jar clunks]

DESCRIPTION: In the storage room, Penny puts a jar into the cabinet. Flower arrives, waving the feather duster.

FLOWER: Queen Schnookiland, I doth got it!

[Penny gasps, triumphant music plays]

PENNY: Yay!

FLOWER SINGS: I cleaned the walls, I cleaned the floor. Dragon, you are...

[Flour the cat meows]

DESCRIPTION: Flour the cat awakens.

FLOWER SINGS: Trapped no more.

[Whoosh, soft thump]

DESCRIPTION: Flower waves the feather duster near Flour the cat.

FLOWER: Swish, swash, swishity-swash.

[Chimes]

PENNY AND FLOWER: Oh, hoo-hoo!

[Flour the cat meows]

DESCRIPTION: Flower picks up Flour the cat.

PENNY: The royal-eth pet is backeth.

[Flour the cat meows, thump, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Flower hugs the cat.

PENNY: Lucky you.

FLOWER: My queen, what is wrong?

PENNY: I just miss King Cleansington, even though he re-cleans my cleaning-eth.

[Flour the cat meows]

DESCRIPTION: Flower hugs Penny.

FLOWER: It's okay. The witch's spell will be broken, but only if he's cleaned the kitchen properly.

[Dramatic choral music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Penny slides the storage room door open, and she and Flower watch Dirk clean the wall and the stovetop. Penny shrugs at Flower.

[Chime, Dirk sighs]

DIRK: Ah, fit for a king!

PENNY: The stove is, but what about the rest of this place?

[Clatter]

DESCRIPTION: Plates and bowls are stacked on the counter and on top of wheeled carts.

DIRK: Hmm?

PENNY: You're going to be trapped forever!

[Rustle, footsteps tap]

DESCRIPTION: Flower and Flour the cat pick up scrubbing brushes.

FLOWER: Fear not. Us royals stick together.

[Broom rustles

DESCRIPTION: Later, Penny sweeps the floor as Dirk wipes a range hood. Flower looks at the cleared countertop.

FLOWER: The king is freed! Freed!

[Upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Penny leaps into Dirk’s arms, and he lifts her.

DIRK: Yes!

[Everyone cheers, bell dings]

DESCRIPTION: On the counter of the pass-through window, Flour the cat pushes the button on a desk bell.

DIRK: We celebrate with a royal feast!

PENNY: Uh-oh. There goes the stove stop.

[Door opens, wind gusts, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Later, in the restaurant, Dirk, Flower, and Penny eat at a table. Flour the cat stands on a chair with his paws on the table. The restaurant door opens, and Rudy enters, carrying his shield and sword.

RUDY: Hi, Flower.

FLOWER: Rudy, you're back!

RUDY: Yeah, we're back. And Mount Castle isn't a castle. It's just a suburb. Ages from here. Two trains, no direct line.

PENNY: Come, sit.

[Rustle, Flour the cat meows]

DESCRIPTION: Penny moves Flour the cat, and Rudy sits on the chair.

RUDY: Houses, letterboxes. Thankfully, no dragons.

[Flour roars]

RUDY: Whoa!

[Flower laughs, Rudy chuckles, light music plays]

RUDY: Hey, what's going on here? It's so clean.

DIRK: Ha, Rudy, you get me.

RUDY: And you're so royal.

FLOWER: We're having a royal feast. Best castle I've ever been to.

[Flour the cat meows, everyone cheers, Dirk claps, shaker clatters, Dirk gasps, exclaims]

DESCRIPTION: Flour the cat stands on the back of Rudy’s chair, with his paws on Rudy’s head. Dirk knocks over a salt shaker.

DIRK: No, no, no, no!

[Dirk blows]

DESCRIPTION: Dirk blows on the spilled salt and pushes the salt with his hand.

FLOWER: Cleaning is fun. Doth remember!

[Dirk, Flower, and Penny laugh]

[Upbeat music plays]

[Song] Flower and Flour, Flower and Flour. Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo. Doo-doo-doo, they're Flower and Flour. Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo. They're Flower and Flour. Flower and Flour, Flower and Flour. Doo-doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo-doo.
