DESCRIPTION: On a screen with a play bar at the bottom, Harrison, a brown-haired boy, rests his elbows on a dining room table. He wears a dark purple T-shirt.
HARRISON: Hi, Squad. I'm Harrison. I'm nine years old, and I go to karate.
DESCRIPTION: Harrison karate chops the air. At the Green Squad headquarters, Shakira, Eric, Lisa, and Kyle sit around a small table, a tablet propped up on it.

DESCRIPTION: Harrison lays the sleeping bag on the inflatable mattress.
GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, ERIC: That's the best way.
[Pops]
DESCRIPTION: In the dining room, Harrison sits at the table. A graphic of a tent and a campfire at the base of the mountain appears.
HARRISON: So, I really want to find out how to set up a campsite on my own.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, KYLE: Camping is the best, especially when you do it Green Squad style.
LISA: Can't wait to cook on that campfire. I'm in.
[Typing]
[Text Reads] Help me, Squad.
[Upbeat music plays]

[Text reads] T.V.O. Kids presents. An Apartment 11 Production.
[Title] Green Squad.
DESCRIPTION: The Green Squad poses together.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
[Upbeat music plays, Kyle knocks, door opens, pops]
DESCRIPTION: Outside, Kyle and Lisa walk up the steps to Harrison’s house, each carrying a bag slung over their shoulder. Kyle opens the door with his mom behind him. She has long black hair and wears a black tank top.
[Text Reads] Hi! Hey! Hi!
KYLE: I'm Kyle.
LISA: I'm Lisa.
HARRISON: I'm Harrison, and this is my mom, Tammy.
DESCRIPTION: An arrow points to the black-haired woman, Tammy.
KYLE: Hi. Nice to meet you both. You love camping, right?
[Harrison laughs]
HARRISON: Yes, I do.
LISA: So, does that mean you've got a lot of cool camping gear?
DESCRIPTION: Harrison nods.
HARRISON: Yes.
LISA: Should we take a look?
HARRISON: Come on in.
[Footsteps patter]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa and Kyle follow Harrison to the living room.
LISA: What other things do you like to do in nature?
[Pops]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic features a forest, with one tree wearing a mortarboard hat with a tassel. A bird perches on top of the hat. A second graphic shows an adult and a child holding hands as they walk on a rock. Each wears a backpack and holds a stick.
HARRISON: I do Forest School, and we go on trails and hikes. It's just amazing.
[Text Reads] Amazing!
KYLE: So you do a lot of camping and hiking and scavenger hunting, but how do you make sure that you're taking care of the environment when you're out?
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of a candy wrapper and a sad fox appear.
HARRISON: By not leaving plastic there, because animals can eat it and die.
LISA: What can Kyle and I help you with?
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of a compass, a flashlight, and a rolled mattress pad appear.
HARRISON: Getting more camping gear. And like upping my camping game.
KYLE: Well, we can definitely help you out with that, but we need to know what equipment you already have.
DESCRIPTION: Harrison kneels on the floor by his sleeping bag and inflatable mattress. He lifts one side of the sleeping bag.
HARRISON: So, I have a sleeping bag right here. And I have a mattress, an inflatable mattress, to sleep and a tent to keep the moisture from getting to me.
[Lively music plays]
KYLE: Seems like you've got a lot of great stuff here. I think we need more. I know this great place here that we can go to, that will actually let us borrow some equipment. See, that's the thing. Sometimes you don't need to go buy equipment. You can just borrow it from somebody else so that you don't create a lot of extra waste. There's this place here. It's a library. Except not for books, it's for equipment.
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a person removing a book from a bookshelf appears.
[Ding]
DESCRIPTION: In the graphic, the books disappear, and camping gear, including a pan, compass, and flashlight, appears.
KYLE: We're going to go there today, and they're going to help us out
LISA: And I have some great ideas on some delicious snacks that we can make while camping.
KYLE: Ready to go borrow some gear, Harrison?
HARRISON: Yep!
[Text Reads] Let’s go.
LISA: To the gear library...
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison, Lisa, and Kyle hide behind three trees. They run and switch hiding spots, then they pose together.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
[Title] Green Squad.
[The music stops]
DESCRIPTION: Later, Harrison and Kyle enter a building. A bearded man stands behind a counter at the end of a short hallway.
KYLE: Hey, Gerald! How's it going? Thank you so much for having us.
[Text Reads] Gerald, gear librarian.
GERALD: Oh, no problem at all.
KYLE: We're thinking about going camping, and Harrison has a bunch of items that are going to be great. However, we kinda up want to up his camping game, so we're wondering if you have anything that might help us out.
GERALD: What kind of equipment do you already have?
[Pops]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of a sleeping bag, a tarp, and an inflatable mattress appear.
HARRISON: I have a sleeping bag, a tarp, and an inflatable mattress, but that's kind of it.
GERALD: Let me just go check in the back and see what else we have for you.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Gerald enters a storage room with camping gear and sports equipment on shelves and hanging on the walls. Sleeping bags and coolers are stacked.
KYLE NARRATES: Borrowing camping gear like this is so cool. Communities around the world are setting up libraries that lend out all sorts of thing. Check out what kind of stuff you can borrow instead of buy where you live.
[Tent rustles, pops, pans clatter]
DESCRIPTION: Gerald puts a tent, a mesh bag holding pots and pans, and chairs in carrying bags on the counter. Harrison and Kyle take the items. Graphics of a tent, a kettle and pots, and two chairs at a campfire appear.
GERALD: We've got a few things for you. We’ve got several pots, pans, dishes. You're going to need chairs to sit around the fire.
KYLE: Absolutely.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: Gerald puts an axe on the counter, and Kyle takes it. A graphic of an axe appears.
GERALD: I got an axe for you. This will come in handy if you want to start your own fire. So that's going to be due back in a week.
[Hands clap]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle claps his hands together.
KYLE: Thank you so, so much for giving us all this amazing gear.
GERALD: No problem, you’re welcome. Have fun camping, Harrison.
DESCRIPTION: Harrison waves.
HARRISON: Bye!
KYLE: Yeah, you excited to camp, Harrison?
BOTH SHOUT: Yeah!
[Hands slap]
DESCRIPTION: They high-five with both hands.
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: Later, Harrison and Kyle stand in Harrison’s kitchen with Lisa. A small table in front of Lisa has bananas, bowls of grapes, graham crackers, strawberries, chocolates, and mini marshmallows.
LISA: While you both were out at the gear library, I rustled up some ingredients. And now we can make the delicious treats that I was talking about earlier.
HARRISON: What do we start with?
[Water splashes, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, a canoe with a lantern in it floats beneath Lisa.
LISA: Well, when you're camping, sometimes you use canoes or boats, so we're going to make…
DESCRIPTION: Lisa picks up a banana.
[Text Reads] Banana boats.
[Harrison giggles]
LISA: Yeah. So, we're going to slice this down the middle and then fill it with marshmallows and chocolate. And it'll be so good when we cook it over the fire grill.
DESCRIPTION: Kyle slices an unpeeled banana, without cutting the bottom piece of the peel. At the table, Harrison and Lisa put chocolate and mini marshmallows in two sliced bananas.
LISA: We have our marshmallows and our chocolate, and then we're just going to stuff them inside.
DESCRIPTION: Harrison grabs a handful of marshmallows.
HARRISON: I’m just grabbing a whole bunch of marshmallows.
[Lisa laughs]
LISA: Grab as many as you...Make sure they can all fit, though.
LISA: Alright, it looks good.
HARRISON: Mine looks crazy! What’s next?
[Aluminum foil crinkles]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa wraps foil around her banana boat.
LISA: Next, we're going to wrap the banana boats in foil.
DESCRIPTION: Harrison holds up his banana, overflowing with chocolate and marshmallows.
HARRISON: This will not fit, I don’t think.
[They both laugh, foil crinkles]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison wraps his banana boat.
LISA: I think it would wrap it up like, tight enough, it’ll be good.
[Upbeat music continues]
LISA: Now, for our second snack, we're going to be making fruit kabobs. Grab a skewer, like so, and then just put whatever fruit you want on it.
DESCRIPTION: Kyle and Harrison watch Lisa slide a grape onto her kabob stick. Harrison puts a grape on his kabob. Lisa holds up her kabob with grapes and a strawberry. Kyle slides banana slices on his kabob stick.
LISA: Place it through like that. Look how colourful it is. It looks really pretty.
[Harrison giggles]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison’s kabob has strawberries, grapes, and banana slices.
LISA: Oh, my goodness!
DESCRIPTION: They put their three kabobs in a container with three wrapped banana boats.
LISA: Now for my absolute all-time favourite camping snack, s’mores.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a smore with marshmallows and a chocolate bar appears.
LISA: We're going to make s’mores nachos.
KYLE: Ohh.
[Pan taps, graham crackers bang]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa puts a foil pan on the table. She breaks up graham crackers and drops them in the pan. Harrison and Kyle help her.
LISA: A pan. We're going to grab graham crackers to like break them up. Put them in. You don't want to crush it too small. What else do we have in s'mores, Harrison?
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a chocolate-dipped marshmallow and a piece of chocolate appear.
HARRISON: We have marshmallows and chocolates.
[Ingredients rattle]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa and Harrison drop mini-marshmallows and chocolate onto the broken graham crackers.
LISA: Thank you, sir.
[Harrison laughs]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison drops a final mini marshmallow.
HARRISON: Bam!
LISA: There you go.
[Aluminum foil rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison and Lisa cover the pan with foil.
LISA: Okay. You get that side. I'll get this side. You got to like cup the ends.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, a smiling emoji licks its lips.
LISA: These snacks are going to be delicious when we roast them over the campfire.
KYLE: I think I've got one more delicious snack.
[Bang, Harrison and Lisa exclaim, Harrison laughs, upbeat music continues]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle puts a handful of lint on the table and puts two empty toilet paper rolls beside it.
KYLE: Ta-Da! I got this dryer lint right out of my dryer. And, of course, some used toilet paper rolls.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of a dryer and a toilet paper roll appear. Kyle puts half the lint in one of the empty rolls and the other half in the other.
[Text Reads] Try to use dryer lint from cotton clothes only!
KYLE: And I was thinking we could use as an eco-friendly fire starter. See, this actually helps us so we don't disrupt the local wildlife, and we can reuse stuff that we don't need. All righty folks, we ready to get camping?
[Text Reads] Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: Kyle puts the lint rolls in his pocket.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Shakira, Eric, Lisa, and Kyle bob up and down.
[Text Reads] Green Beat.
[Upbeat music plays, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: A smiling cut-out photograph of Kyle appears with a flashback of Gerald putting the tent on the counter. A photograph shows a cluster of tents and cars in a field. A second photo shows garbage and camping chairs strewn between tents. Kyle’s cut-out photograph frowns.
KYLE NARRATES: Borrowing a tent instead of buying new. helps save the planet. But sometimes at outdoor festivals, people leave behind so many tents, they can look like a tent safari.
[Thuds]
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph of Lisa wearing a safari hat appears. A graphic of a tent turns upside down.
LISA: Are there tour guides? Here we have the rare upside-down tent.
[Gulls call]
DESCRIPTION: Gulls fly over piles of garbage in a landfill.
KYLE: These tents are made of plasticky stuff like nylon and polyester. And they end up in landfills. They can sit there for 200 years because plastic takes forever to break down.
[Party horn blares]
DESCRIPTION: In an animation, a white-haired man wears a party hat and blows a party horn. Text reads, “Ha! Ha! Ha!”
LISA: 200 years? That's older than my grandpa's jokes.
DESCRIPTION: The white-haired man holds his back.
WHITE-HAIRED MAN: Ow!
[Whooshes]
DESCRIPTION: Photographs show cardboard tents. A graphic of a Choco Puffs cereal box appears with a sleeping bag inside and a cut-out photograph of Kyle standing in front.
KYLE: But fear not, because there's a new tent on the block and it's made of cardboard. It's like camping in a giant cereal box, but way cooler.
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: A person sprays water on a cardboard tent.
KYLE: These tents are waterproof and 100 percent recyclable.
[Bonk, bonk]
DESCRIPTION: A smiling cut-out photograph of Lisa holds a drawing of a red pencil crayon, with the tip against a red sun drawn on a cardboard tent.
LISA: So, they're eco-friendly, and you can doodle on them? Awesome!
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In a video clip, on a soccer field, Kyle slides towards a ball and falls. He grabs his knee and writhes melodramatically on the ground. Harrison and Lisa walk to him, gesturing.
[Title] Green Squad.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
[The music stops, birds sing]
DESCRIPTION: In a forest, Harrison drags a wagon full of camping supplies towards a picnic table. Danielle, a Learn-to-Camp team coordinator, stands on scattered leaves near the table. She wears her brown hair in a ponytail and wears a blue T-shirt.
[Text Reads] Hi! Welcome.
DANIELLE: I'm Danielle.
KYLE: Thank you so much for having us.
DANIELLE: Yeah, my pleasure.
KYLE: See, Danielle, here is an expert in setting up camps in an eco-friendly and nature-friendly way.
DANIELLE: Harrison, I heard you did some camping before. What did you find the hardest thing about it?
HARRISON: Pushing the pegs into the ground.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A tent graphic appears, and an arrow points to a tent peg.
DANIELLE: Yeah, some things you can't control. But I've got some tips for you. Should we set up our tent?
[Text Reads] Yeah!
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison picks up the tent.
DANIELLE: Ok, let's grab it. Ok, where is a good spot? Let's look for some nice flat ground.
HARRISON: So maybe here.
DANIELLE: Yeah, that looks like a great spot. And we'll open it up and make sure we have all our pieces. Do you want to help me here so you can roll this out?
[Birds chirp]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison unrolls the tent, and Danielle picks up the fly. Harrison, Kyle and Lisa spread the tent on the ground.
DANIELLE: Perfect. We've got the fly. And that's going to keep us nice and warm and dry. If it rains. And then we've got our tent here. And we've got our poles and our pegs. So it looks like we've got everything. I think we're ready to set it up.
[Soft music plays]
DESCRIPTION: They set up the tent poles and attach the tent. They spread the fly over the tent, and Danielle picks up a tent peg.
DANIELLE: I think we're ready to put the fly on now. So, we're going to insert these. And when we're inserting the pegs, we don't want to put them straight up and down; we're going to put them on a little bit of an angle. To make sure that the tent is nice and secure on the ground.
[Water splashes]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, water splashes on the ground by Harrison’s tent peg.
DANIELLE: So if the ground is really hard, it can be hard to get the pegs all the way into the ground, like you mentioned earlier. So what you can do is you can pour a little water into the ground. Leave it there for a minute, and it's going to help soften it a little bit. Okay, well, we can try using a piece of wood, maybe, to help knock it down a little bit.
[Wood bangs]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison hits the peg into the ground with a piece of wood.
DANIELLE: The tent is set up.
[Cheers, applause, whoosh, birds chirp, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Later, Harrison, Kyle, and Lisa sit on camping chairs around a metal fire pit. Danielle stands with her hands on her hips.
DANIELLE: I think we're ready to get our fire started now. So, what do you think we're going to need for our fire
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a log pile appears.
HARRISON: Some wood, definitely.
DANIELLE: Yeah. When we're building our fire, it going to be super important that we're using wood that comes from the campsite or local wood, because we don’t want to bring any little critters or insects that aren't indigenous to the area in.
[Axe bangs, wood clatters]
DESCRIPTION: Between the tent and the fire pit, Lisa chops wood.
DANIELLE: We're going to need some different pieces of wood. So Lisa is bringing over our kindling.
LISA: Got it!
DANIELLE: Perfect.
[Kindling clatters]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa puts an armful of kindling beside Danielle.
DANIELLE: We have some medium pieces here. We've got some bigger pieces that are fuel logs. And we're going to need some water.
[Water sprays]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle fills a bucket at a tap and brings it to the campsite. Danielle picks up two pieces of kindling.
DANIELLE: Great! So that'll just allow us to put our fire out if we have any issues and it gets out of control. We’re gonna use some kind of medium-sized pieces of kindling. We're going to put two parallel in the bottom like this. And then you can grab this piece. And we're going to put them on here. And we're going to put another one there in the opposite direction.
[Bird chirps loudly]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison lays a piece of wood across the first two.
DANIELLE: Perfect, let's see if we can find another good size. Maybe this one will work well.
DESCRIPTION: Harrison adds a second piece of kindling.
DANIELLE: Yeah. So, we want to make sure we have enough space in the middle that we can put our fire starter.
DANIELLE: I think we have some fire starters that you made earlier right that we can use.
KYLE: I got just the thing.
HARRISON: It’s got lint in the toilet paper.
DANIELLE: Do you want to put that right into the middle of the fire? Amazing!
DESCRIPTION: Harrison puts the toilet paper roll on the kindling.
DANIELLE: We're going to keep adding a couple of pieces of wood just on top of these ones. Do you want to add a couple?
HARRISON: Sure.
DESCRIPTION: Harrison piles the kindling.
DANIELLE: We'll put a couple parallel like this way. And put another one on that side.
HARRISON: Another parallel.
[He chuckles]
DANIELLE: Exactly. Perfect!
[Match scrapes]
DESCRIPTION: Danielle strikes a match and lights the fire.
DANIELLE: And I'm going to try to light right where our fire starter is.
[Fire crackles]
DESCRIPTION: Later, Harrison, Danielle, and Kyle sit on the chairs around the fire. Lisa holds up her hands in long black gloves.
LISA: Ok, it looks like our fire is ready for grilling. I've got my fireproof gloves on, and I'm going to flip the grill.
[Upbeat music plays, metal clanks]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa flips a grill over the metal fire pit.
LISA: Eeeeee. Now we're going to put the banana boats on the fire, and the heat from the flames are going to make it nice and ooey goey.
DESCRIPTION: Lisa puts four foil-wrapped bananas on the grill.
HARRISON: I’ve never melted bananas and marshmallows before.
LISA: I'm sure you're going to love it. All right, while we wait, let's eat some of the delicious fruit skewers.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison, Kyle, and Danielle eat fruit skewers, and a smiling emoji licks its lips. Kyle sits down on his chair, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and holding a red acoustic guitar. Lisa sits down. She unfolds one side of the foil on s’mores nachos.
LISA: Okay. And now we wait.
DESCRIPTION: Lisa eats a s’more nacho.
[Guitar music plays, hands clap, chimes, pop]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle plays the guitar. Lisa puts s’mores nachos on a metal plate and opens the foil around a banana boat. Harrison smiles and eats his banana boat. Text in a thought bubble reads, “Yum!” Everyone claps as Kyle plays.
KYLE SINGS: S'mores. Bananas, too. Here with Harrison. And The Green Squad. Cowboy Kyle, Danielle, too.
[Applause, bird chirps, the music stops]
LISA: All right, now that we are done our delicious campfire grub, what's next?
[Pop, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic shows a man and a woman putting recycling in a green bag.
HARRISON: We have to clean up.
LISA: Of course.
[Text Reads] Pack in, pack out.
LISA: Everything we brought to the campsite, we got to leave with.
KYLE: But I think there's something we have to do first, right?
DANIELLE: Yeah, we've got to put the fire out. Do you want to give me a hand?
HARRISON: Sure.
DANIELLE: Okay, we got our bucket of water right here. We'll do it really slowly.
[Fire hisses]
DESCRIPTION: Danielle and Harrison slowly pour water on the campfire.
DANIELLE: We want to make sure that you don't see any red embers.
[Water splashes]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison finishes pouring water on the fire.
DANIELLE: I think that looks pretty good, Harrison. I think it's out enough.
KYLE: Let's leave no trace team.
DESCRIPTION: Everyone picks up trash. They take down the tent and roll it up.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Shakira, Eric, Lisa, and Kyle bob up and down.
[Text Reads] Green Beat.
[Upbeat music plays, water splashes]
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph of Lisa smiling appears, with a lake and forest behind her. In a video clip, blue water foams as it pours down a waterfall. In another video clip, a bear dances in the foothills of the mountains. The cut-out photograph of Lisa shows her sticking out her tongue.
LISA NARRATES: National parks are full of trees and adventure, so cool they’d make a bear do a happy dance. But these awesome spots need our help.
DESCRIPTION: In a photograph, Robbie Bond has short, curly brown hair. He wears a blue jean jacket and jeans. In a second photograph, he smiles and crouches on the grass in front of the White House in the United States. A graphic of a birthday cake shows a nine-candle top.
LISA NARRATES: Meet Robbie Bond. When he was nine, he found out a bunch of these epic places were in danger of turning into boring nothingness with zero fun.
DESCRIPTION: The photograph of Robbie turns grey, and the mouth opens. A video clip shows a car driving through a parking lot. A cut-out photograph of Kyle has his mouth open.
KYLE: Like giant parking lots?
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph of Lisa and the dancing bear appear in front of a video clip of a truck driving on a dirt road. A photograph shows Robbie posing by the sign for Haleakala National Park.
Logo: Kids Speak for Parks.
LISA: Sorta. Mining and drilling were a big threat, so Robbie started Kids Speak for Parks to show everyone why parks are amazing.
[Whoosh, medals clank, chimes, crowd cheers, applauds]
DESCRIPTION: In a classroom, children wear virtual reality headsets. A red-haired girl reaches in front of her. A cut-out photograph of Kyle wearing a virtual reality headset appears. A cut-out photograph of Robbie crouching appears, and gold, silver, and bronze medals appear around his neck. A photo shows Robbie standing in front of a crowd of hundreds.
LISA: He created virtual reality tours so kids can explore them from their classrooms. He's won awards, talked to government leaders, and inspired big crowds with his message.
KYLE: Wow!
[Camera shutter snaps]
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph of Kyle and Lisa poses in front of the dancing bear. Kyle holds a smartphone, and Lisa winks.
LISA: Robbie's working to protect these places for everyone. Because a world without bear selfies is just... unbearable.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Kyle, Lisa, and Harrison poke their heads through the tent door.
[Title] Green Squad.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: At the campsite, Danielle presents Harrison with a laminated certificate.
DANIELLE: Good work, team! Well, Harrison, I have a little something for you for being such a great camper. So, I have a certificate.
HARRISON: Thank you! Awesome!
[Birds chirp]
KYLE: So, Harrison, do you think you're going to have an easier time next time you go camping, a more eco-conscious next time you're out?
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of the two chairs at the campfire, and of the tent appear.
HARRISON: Yeah, I learned how to set up a fire. How to put out the fire, and how to make a tent.
LISA: So, we're actually going to be checking in on you the next time that you go camping to see how it goes.
HARRISON: Thanks, Squad.
[Upbeat music plays]
[Text Reads] Check-In.
DESCRIPTION: The Green Squad dances.
DESCRIPTION: In the Green Squad headquarters, Shakira, Eric, Lisa, and Kyle sit around the table with the tablet.
LISA: Let's scout out how Harrison’s doing.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In his living room, Harrison sits on the couch.
HARRISON: Hi, Kyle and Lisa. Today I'm going back to the campsite to show my friend all I've learned.
[Text Read] Let’s go.
[Tent rustles, fly rustles]
DESCRIPTION: Harrison walks into the campsite with a short-haired friend who carries a bag. They slide the tent pole into the loops on the tent and spread the fly over the tent.
HARRISON: So, hook it into this. Go!
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA: They’re doing a really good job.
DESCRIPTION: At the campsite, Harrison holds a tent peg and demonstrates the angle.
HARRISON: So, like, instead of straight down, they're supposed to be at a slight angle. Like this.
DESCRIPTION: Harrison enters the tent.
HARRISON: Wow, this tent is so clean and shiny.
DESCRIPTION: In the Green Squad headquarters, Lisa and Eric smile.
[Lisa chuckles]
DESCRIPTION: At the campsite, Harrison and the short-haired boy sit in camping chairs. Harrison shows the wide-eyed boy an empty toilet paper roll.
HARRISON: I have a fire starter right here.
DESCRIPTION: In the Green Squad headquarters, Kyle and Lisa nod.
[Kyle laughs]
KYLE: Oh, perfect. With a toilet paper roll and lint from the dryer.
HARRISON: We're going to try putting the big ones on the bottom. Yeah.
DESCRIPTION: At the campsite, Harrison builds the fire.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA: Great pattern, just like how she taught him.
[Wood clatters, fire crackles]
DESCRIPTION: At the campsite, the boys build the fire. In the middle, the toilet paper roll burns. Later, the campfire burns brightly, and the boys roast hot dogs.
HARRISON: It wasn't easy to light the fire. I needed to get Mom's help. We made the fire by just putting some lint, and now we're roasting hot dogs on it.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, KYLE: Wow, I love that he had all of his bases covered, and he was teaching somebody new.
[Fire crackles]
DESCRIPTION: At the campsite, Harrison carries a water bottle to the campfire. Beside him, the short-haired boy waves smoke away from his face.
HARRISON: We’re going to use some water. And you have to put it out, until every single ember is gone.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, KYLE: I love how important fire safety was to him, and if that spreads and gets out of control and there's big forest fire, that's a lot of air pollution, right? So fire safety is really important.
LISA: Yeah.
[Tent flap unzips]
DESCRIPTION: At the campsite, Harrison and his friend poke their heads out of the tent and wave.
BOTH SAY: Bye!
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, ERIC: I'm really glad that he brought his friend. You know, his whole mission was to learn more about camping and then be able to share nature with his friends and family.
LISA: And all of the amazing and important things he learned about how to be eco-friendly while camping.
KYLE: And his next camping experience is going to be even better.
LISA: Harrison, that was fire!
[Fire crackles]
DESCRIPTION: A campfire graphic appears, and the Green Squad pretends to warm their hands.
[Text Reads] Go Harrison!

DESCRIPTION: On a screen with a play bar at the bottom, Harrison, a brown-haired boy, rests his elbows on a dining room table. He wears a dark purple T-shirt.

[Pops]

HARRISON: So, I really want to find out how to set up a campsite on my own.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, KYLE: Camping is the best, especially when you do it Green Squad style.
LISA: Can't wait to cook on that campfire. I'm in.
[Typing]
[Text Reads] Help me, Squad.

[Pops]
